I had no idea it was going to take THIS LONG to get my items. It has been two and a half weeks! I tracked my order and it said I was supposed to receive it after tonight! I am so frustrated as I had heard such good things about asos. I've bought things from CHINA that have come sooner. There better not be a single flaw in any of my items when I FINALLY do receive them, IF I ever do. I am a very dissatisfied customer and will NEVER shop here again nor will I recommend anyone else to.
Love Asos - one of my favorite sites to shop from and they never fail to please us! Would recommend to all those looking for great fashion at reasonable prices.
I NEVER RECEIVED THE ORDER I PLACED ON OCTOBER 2020! When I called customer service, they simply said that its outside of the return timeframe policy so they refuse to give me a full refund. This is clearly evident on the shipment tracker as well. Horrible business integrity. I will be making sure that my experience is shared all media channels so it doesn't happen to other customers.
I have been buying online for years and invariably when encountering a problem with deliveries all companies were willing to give me a refund since it's on them (pretty straightforward)
Buttttt, ASOS (wish they go bankrupt) dose NOT work this way.
When I had not received my packages for a while I contacted them asking for info but rudely enough their customer service agents didn't even bother helping … all they did was tell me to contact the delivery company since it's my problem and not theirs ….
Obviously refund was not even an option.
Basically they suck! And their agents are half robots half gibberish speaking aliens
Do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER buy on ASOS
Worst company ever!
I work for a delivery service and customers are always shocked by the amount they will need to pay for customs! One small package could cost close to 40$!
Received a package, I was asked to pay $170 on delivery for customs. Not a problem if I was informed prior of "other possible charges" when I was purchasing. All they had was a mare policy sorry.
After numerous exchanges they sent this as a reply
" I am sorry you didn't realise buying items from the UK may incur customs or taxes to Canada. We we our utmost to advise on how to order for all our global customers.
I understand you didn't look into this before purchase and the process didn't flag up any reason for you to check our FAQ's - which do advise about extra charges that may occur. In my experience, very few websites do direct you to a 'customs' link while going through checkout.
I appreciate the info which is freely available, is too late now and I am sure you didn't blindly order from a website before checking out some credentials, it is a pity customs charges didn't cross your mind at he time.
I would hope you will fill out the survey and put these concerns into your reply. We value all feed back as it helps to improve our service".
Wow! How nice!
An extremely disappointed customer.
I ordered a Nike turtleneck sweatshirt. As by pics you can see what I ordered and recieved. So different. Not happy at ALL. This was my 1st time ordering.
The COD was 1/3 of total order price that's insane, the customer service Jasmine was really profesSional but my issue didn't get solved so I won't buy from there ever again and I wouldn't suggest any Canadian to do so either.
To be honest I am totally wondered after reading the bad reviews. I have shopped on ASOS many times, since years. I only had a problem once ( late shipping). From that experience, I can tell you that the customer service is really not on the top, I admit. But not that worse. They reply and try to help, but do not expect too much. However, in other cases, I had no problem. Most of the items are decent quality ( at least for the price), and beautiful. Since 2016, I have always got my order before the expected delivery date. There were two cases when I have shipped back items as I did not like them or they did not fit properly. You don't have to give a reason, just fill the return form, download return postage AWB and go to your local post office. That's all. Return is free ( at least from Hungary), you don't have to pay for that. I have received the refund in 2 weeks in both cases. I can not understand how can it happen that so many people complain that much, this is really strange. From my side I would absolutely recommend them, as if the items won't fit or you have any problem, you can return and will get the refund. Maybe you have to wait some more time in other countries, that's possible, ( this is really true for all these kind of websites!) but I can not believe they will scam you..
The latch on a pair of shoes I bought broke after taking about 30 steps. I thought maybe it was a fluke, that this shoe was just faulty, and considered ordering a replacement pair. I used a zip tie to replace the latch and tried wearing them again, but after about 50 steps the other shoe broke.
THESE SHOES WERE $65.00. Literally.
I am extremely disappointed in ASOS for selling low quality shoes for a whopping $65.00. I wonder how ASOS decides how much to charge customers, because I'd like to know if ASOS is at fault for charging so much or if its the designer's choice.
I would like to think ASOS is a reputable company that checks up on how the products they sell are actually made, instead of mass producing poor quality items with a high price as a disguise for its actual low-quality.
$65.00 for a pair of shoes that breaks so easily as mine did is nearly criminal.
Another pair of shoes I bought have elastic on them that is already stretched out past the point of return after wearing them once for 8 hours, having walked at most a half mile that day. A brand new purse with pom poms on it practically fell apart in my hands. The chain on a choker I bought was broken before I opened it's packaging, as if it was up to me to assemble it.
Their shoes, accessories, and jewelry are very low quality and as for their clothes I've had only a so-so experience. Anything with sequins will not last.
I gave them two stars instead of one because their free shipping is nice. And usually things get here sooner than it says it will.
MISLEADING INFORMATION ON WEBSITE ABOUT SIZES,
CHINESE SIZE BLAZER WAS SEND TO ME, I HAD TO PAY FOR RETURNS AS THEY DONT HAVE WAREHOUSE IN CANADA
I ENDED UP PAYING $170 CAD FOR NOTHING
SCAM SCAM SCAM ITS A BIG SCAM COMPANY! BE CAREFUL
AND WHEN I CONTACTED FOR RETURN, PERSON WAS RUDE, UNEDUCATED, UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND WASNT HELPFUL
NEVER EVER BUY ANY THING FROM ASOS
I know I can't speak for everyone since I live in the United States, and we don't have cod problems, at least, I don't think. I really love the clothing selection at asos, and the huge selection of brands is also pretty awesome. I wish they would be a little more helpful when it comes to returns/exchanges though. They sent me the wrong item, and I did not have the money to purchase a new one. They refunded me the money instead of just sending out a new item, but the refund took 5 days. By the time the refund went through, the item I wanted was completely out of stock in all sizes. What I purchased was a part of a set, and now I only have the top without the bottom. So, I get a little miffed when stuff like this happens, but overall, the customer service agents are really kind and helpful, the prices are great, they have so many sales, and most of their products are of a high quality. Sometimes, quality can be hit or miss when dealing with asos house brand, but I would say it is generally favorable. Easily, one of my favorite places to shop on the internet!
How is the company still in business?
First off, I keep making the mistake of ordering from them when EVERY SINGLE TIME I order, they get the order wrong. Either the size isn't what I ordered or the actual item I ordered is mixed up with something different. FIRE YOUR SHIPPING AND WAREHOUSE MANAGER!
Their brand sucks, nothing fits well and that's saying a lot for me, it's always easy for me to fit in practically anything. Their clothing line is the least of their concerns, though, shipping, customer service and warehouse packaging is just embarrassing.
I hate this company.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!
Back in July, I purchased and paid for 2 similar pairs of shoes. Despite the tracking notification indicating that both pairs of shoes have been shipped, only 1 was actually shipped and received. I have been in email hell (since there is no way to contact an actual person) for several months trying to receive a refund for the item I never received. The sheer run around and frustration is NOT worth ever buying from this company as there are plenty of other merchants!
FANTASTIC!
The good:
> Great range with fantastic pricing
> Extremely fast postage from the UK
> Regular sales to save you even more $$
> Own 'home' brand which is great quality and decently priced
> FREE postage - did I mention FREE postage
> Accepts returns, although you have to pay return postage (around $7-$10)
The bad:
> Doesn't exchange on returns, only refunds - but with free shipping, why not order it again?
> Charges in GBP, meaning that you might be slugged with a foreign conversion fee by your card issuer
I ordered from ASOS last month 29 April 2021 and until now I haven't receive my order. Worst, I don't even know how to communicate or contact their customer service. No email address, I tried to contact through my account online chat but they are unreachable plus I even sent messages on their IG account and nobody even care to respond. I am so disappointed also as I cannot even track my order from the given tracking details.
WHAT HAPPENED TO ASOS? And what is annoying they even sent me an e-mail to review the products I ordered which I did not receive at all. Gosh! Seriously!
DON'T BUY ON THIS ONLINE SHOP AGAIN IF YOU DONT WANNA BE DISAPPOINTED!
WILL DEFINITELY UNFOLLOW THERE IG ACCOUNT AND DELETE ASOS APPLICATION IN MY PHONE.
Worst customer services. Order was 10 days late on express. No way to track. Both carrier and ASOS said different things. My money was not refunded on time.
I would really give it 0 stars but to say that there products are terrible quality is an understatement. On top of that, I returned everything on my order - however they sent me a return address in Canada which means I cannot get my $85 of duties back because they are hiding behind the fact that it wasn't returned to the UK - reached out to customer service and they just don't care. They've been an pain to the CA border services so BE WARNED!
I ordered for same day evening delivery 6-10pm, after waiting until 11pm nothing. Then I contacted asos they didnt know what was going on and told me to wait. The next day I get a call from on the dot delivery guy that apparently the van broke down. Bulls.! He tells me I'll deliver today 6-10pm again nothing! I get an email from asos saying 1st delivery attempt failed, when I was at home waiting for the delivery, otherwise why pay 8£ to have it delivered? I contacted asos 3x and spent around 30-40mins each time on the online chat but I wasnt offered a solution! Now I am being told my parcel will arrive today, mind you it is day number 3. How do I know it will arrive this time, when no one knows what is going on? And I'm not even offered a refund! Disgusting!
Poor customer service. Not willing to help customers.
Difficult to communicate with the team due to online chat bot. I wish they would be more helpful especially as they went against their own policy
Answer: Hello Em, Yes it is true. The site has very poor delivery and customer service. I do not recommend it.
Answer: Doubt it, I don't think they sell any knock off's. Depending on the print you got, some of them don't have stripes. Hope that helps.
Answer: No. They will find 101 reasons to screw you out of your money
Answer: No. If anything it has gottten worse.
Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.
Answer: Your only option with asos is live chat. I used it just now and also a few days ago and it worked just fine. They solved all my issues. Chat is the only way to contact.
Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
