They blocked my account and cancelled my order citing fraud. I AM A WARDROBE STYLIST! WTF am I to do if it's not going to my billing address? I will never use Asos again and I will not refer my clients to this site either.
I place orders in the month of May. I do not receive the parcel. She wrote regularly called. My problem no one wanted to do. The problem is not solved. I'm afraid to order in Asos.
Received my rag. I mean "dress". The cut was not even, the dress looked like it had been on someones floor for a month and then i had to PAY to ship it back. Disgusting.
We paid for a next day delivery
We paid for a next day delivery. In fact, we paid more for the delivery than for the item! We obviously wanted it the next day!
The item didn't arrive! But we received a message from DPD asking if we were happy with the delivery! To which we answered "no"! Annoyingly, as soon as we answered "no", the picture that was on the message showing a door which was not ours, disappeared miraculously!
Asos instead of refunded the money to us, is asking us to wait until DPD comes back to them.
I am extremely disappointed with Asos because I did not buy the item from DPD! I bought it from Asos, so Asos should refund ME the money and deal with DPD accordingly! But Never ask a customer to wait when they have a picture of the item being delivered at a wrong address!
The last straw was when Asos told me that DPD acknowledged they did deliver at a wrong address and asked Asos to tell me to go and get it from this other address! ( DPD requested this even though they already knew no one lives at that address! And they know that because we already informed them that we went to the address and no one lives in that house!)
Last but not least, how come DPD is asking people to go to other peoples houses to collect items when we are supposed to minimise human contact under current rules!?
Two orders, never received one of them. Customer service won't help. Not possible to ring them. You can e-mail the customer service and you will receive an e-mail without an answer.
Excellent search and navigate facilities good multiple filtering without connection drops offs. Purchasing and returning easy. Excellent customer service. Good variety of quality and prices.
I ordered a dress for my shower, and its late, was supposed to arrive nov2nd and now they are saying to wait for nov 22nd without any explanation. Their customer support agent just closed the chat on me an exited without giving any sort of explanation or giving a resolution or saying that she will exit. They deflect and don't give straight answers. I can't believe she ended the chat without giving an answer and exited, kept copy pasting the same answer and exited. Do disrespectful, was on the chat for 15 minutes before any kind of answer. I've been on the chat 3 times so far. It seems that they don't read what I am asking them it's like they don't have real customer support. I asked for them to escalate me to a manager, refused, they say they are equipped with everything to answer my questions. Asked to escalate. And finally managed to get someone to take my number down to arrange for someone to call me. Currently waiting! Note my shower is in a couple of days and they are going to screw me over hard if the order is not here by then!
I paid for 2 eight ounce bottles of a hair product, Olaplex. I received 2 three ounce bottles! Sent item back, awaiting a refund or the correct products!
I orderd for 294 and my order was eligible for free shipping. But had to pay 107$ Charges and these ppl just said we are sorry you had to pay shipping charges. Pathetic
I didn't get the refund of the item I have ordered online even after two months of waiting. I contacted the customer service 2 times, yet no refund issued. The biggest scam ever!
I ordered a dress that looked nothing like the images online and was horrible quality. I returned it and never received my refund. A month later I contacted customer service with my proof of postage and was bounced back and forth and NEVER RECEIVED MY REFUND OF $175. I would not recommend buying from this website to anyone, horrible quality of clothing, even worse customer service, and I've lost almost $200.

ASOS sitejabber review
ASOS has a wide range of different brands that are all working with ASOS. It has a similar umbrella style shopping experience to websites like YesStyle, where you can browse based on brands, colors, or other filters. ASOS also has their own clothing line which tends to make affordable dupes of trending items.
My shopping experience was pleasant. I like that there is a wide variety of options and that you can read reviews of items before purchasing them. Quality of items will of course differ based on the individual brands. I bought three items, of which I kept only one. The only annoying thing for me was that ASOS will remove items from your cart after an hour.
The shipping took a few days, and once I received and tried the items, filling out a return online was very quick and efficient. The shipping is pre-paid, and you just have to drop off the package at a local UPS store. Even though I wasn't pleased with some of my purchases, the overall experiences was so painless that I wouldn't mind doing it again. I also do happen to adore the dress I kept, and I think that you can get really lucky and find some hidden gems.
As for sustainability, it really depends on the brand you buy from. If you buy Nike, it isn't sustainable, but usually smaller brands like the one I purchased from tend to have more ethically produced items.
Overall, I highly recommend that you give ASOS a try. Just hold onto any receipts, and you should be fine if you have to return something.
Customer service and after sale service is too bad. They are preparing orders just randomly.
Trying to communicate with customer service it is frustrating
I always shop at Asos because of the free shipping and returns. It makes it so easy to return something that you didnt like, and the prices and selection are great.
I love the ASOS collection but had a HORRIBLE experience ordering. My order was send to the WRONG COUNTRY. Can you imagen. After mailing, because the customer care phonenumber is quite hard to find. I didn't get anywhere! Finally I found a phonenumber, so I called to the UK (I live in Belgium). They told me they accidentally send it to the wrong country, but that I would be refunded, and that I could order it again (seeing as the original order, could not be send to me anymore). They didn't have the dress in stock, so I couldn't order that one, they still told me I would get the difference in price back, if I orderd something else. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. After countless mailings, I just got the answer that I can't get the orginal dress and will not be compensated for any other dress. I now still have to wait 21 days to get my refund. The mails I get are still the same "we're sorry, but we can't do anything". I think the customer care is horrific! I lost time and money.
I have a full conversation transcript with one of the advisors regarding my next day delivery - reference number ASOS: *******
Due to the couriers incompetence I have been denied the service I am paying for (Premier delivery) as the long term customer of Asos. Feel free to review the orders from the past.
I have a proof courier was never near my door. Unfortunately, case was neglected by the customer care representative from Asos.
When I asked three times for the contact details to the supervisor, I was given plenty of rubbish, instead of the vital answer.
I was also promised a call back by the end of yesterday, which was also ignored.
Your company is lying to people, denying the service people are paying for. Furthermore, you are ignoring the customers complaints whenever he or she are directing to you, passing plenty of meaningless phrases.
This is disgraceful practise and I shall guide that review further, with all the necessary attachments, hopefully it will reach your executive officers.
Right now, I am without the item I have paid for (which I was explained, can take up to three different delivery attempts, on the NEXT DAY DELIVERY, joke). I am expecting to be conpensated for the way your customer care is treating people, lying to their faces, and giving false promises, such as a call back.
Regards,
Tomasz
If I could give 0 stars I would.
I've placed an order at beginning of October due to be delivered on the 14th. Receive an email on the day that my order has been delayed for 2 days so no biggie. After 2 days I contact on the chat and they ask me to wait 2 more days and the contact again. That happened 2 more times. I ask for a replacement and I receive no emails regarding that. Today I received something finally. Not sure if it is the replacement or the original order (mind you that's almost a month later) but frankly I want my money also for the freaking unacceptable and dismissive treatment I have received from them. Completely horrible and incompetent on the chat and on Facebook messenger. That whole experience was horrible, unacceptable and very dismissive. After all this years being a costumer with very regular shopping I feel very mistreated and I won't be using the services again which is a shame cause I really like the products. Horrible company as it is not the first time this has happened and even the other times I didn't even receive a compensation. One time even almost lost my job because they shipped late even though I had paid for express delivery. Just horrible
Don't waste your time shopping here. If you have an issue they are useless. They have no issue taking your money. If I could give them a negative rating I would have.
1. I made my first order and forgot to use the first time user discount code. I contacted customer service and they said it was too late and I could not add it to my order even though it was 5 minutes after placing it.
2. ASOS sent me an email saying my order had arrived. It hadn't. They said the expected date of delivery was April 22. It arrived on May 5.
3. I was not informed of any delivery charges until I received an email from the post office saying I would have to pay cash on delivery. ASOS promised me free delivery because my order was over $75. I had to pay $15.50 at the post office.
4. I searched the ASOS website to find out more about these charges. I finally found a faq that mentioned Canadian customers are entitled to a 15% discount to cover customs charges. This was not mentioned when I placed my order even though it was obvious I had a Canadian address.
5. I contacted customer service today via the chat function on the ASOS app and was transferred between 4 different people in the middle of my conversation. Finally, when I chatted with Rizamarie she only made excuses and was not able to help me at all. The company took no responsibility for their poor communication or making it hard for customers to find discount codes.
Needless to say I will not be shopping here again and will advise others to avoid this company.
I purchased 3 items from ASOS and I was a bit worried after I placed the order when I read some of the negative reviews. From my experience, each of my orders, placed separately, arrived within 3 days of my placing the order. I was SUPER IMPRESSED.
The prices were fabulous and the items were just as I imagined and fit well. BRAVO!
Answer: Hello Em, Yes it is true. The site has very poor delivery and customer service. I do not recommend it.
Answer: Doubt it, I don't think they sell any knock off's. Depending on the print you got, some of them don't have stripes. Hope that helps.
Answer: No. They will find 101 reasons to screw you out of your money
Answer: No. If anything it has gottten worse.
Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.
Answer: Your only option with asos is live chat. I used it just now and also a few days ago and it worked just fine. They solved all my issues. Chat is the only way to contact.
Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
