I always get my items on time and they make returns really easy. If you're a guy looking for more euro-style items, this is a great place to shop!
Bought an All Saints jacket at a GREAT price, I got shipping info three days after purchase and the item arrived a day before the estimated arrival date.
Loved the jacket!
Placed a very large order with them. Within an hour of placing it I noticed that my shipping address was a place that I haven't lived in six year... it had been automatically imported from my "contact book" from the last time I ordered and I mistakenly forgot to double check. They informed me that my only option was to contact the person who currently lived at the address. I explained that this was impossible because it's across the country and in an area that it will most likely be taken and I need the items before my trip coming up soon. The refused to refund me or let me cancel the order because they are unable to. I tried everything from begging to demanding to speak to a superior and got no where. The best part is THEY STILL HAVEN'T SHIPPED MY ITEMS (with express shipping paid) THREE DAYS LATER? So you're telling me after all this time and offering to pay any amount of fix the mistake a simple address change can't be made? According to the multiple unhelpful representatives I spoke with customers on have FIFTEEN minutes after placing an order to amend it or cancel it. The only suggestion they had was to "keep my contact information updated" well there's no need because I'd rather eat my own poo than ever think to order from this pathetic site again.
ASOS customer service and response time is seriously the worst, worse than China-owned online stores.
First incident: I emailed ASOS about an order return and they only replied it after 4 weeks. Lucky, I got through their online chat with one of its customer officers and managed to get some answers after 2 days. SO, DON'T EMAIL THEM.
Second incident: currently, my order (a pair of $50 shoes) is one month late from ASOS' estimated delivery date. ASOS insisted I wait another 7 days before they are willing to "PASS ON MY INQUIRY TO ITS SPECIALIST TEAM" and will 'GET BACK TO ME IN 12 DAYS VIA THEIR GODDAMN EMAIL". Really, by the time they are willing to ship another pair, it should be at least 2 months since their supposed shipment date. Hopefully, my feet won't grow another size. And hopefully, I won't have to return it.
This is 2018. We are so connected by internet and advanced technology today BUT looks like ASOS has missed the ship and is lagging behind. Waiting more than 1 month for a delivery to be resolved is unbelievable. I can understand shipment might get lost or thrown away by funny post people, but the way ASOS tries to resolve delivery issues is ridiculous by today's standards. Quality of Aliexpress and Taobao items might be dubious for some, but at the very least, these Chinese companies are adamant to resolve delivery issues when they are informed of one. ASOS is seriously still stuck in 2012.
Last time ordering from ASOS. In the meantime, I'm going to spend some time and buy a pair of shoes from a physical store.
This message is to seriously WARN everyone not to buy anything from this website, ASOS. They're a SCAM. As soon as you submit your credit card info, they'll charge it and hooray, another victim, you should say bye-bye to your money because you'll never get your items. If you email them which takes forever for them to answer (oh, by the way they don't have a phone number to contact, see how "legitimate" they are), they'll give you craps like your package has arrived and being processed at the local post office and will be with you soon. And if you still don't receive it, they'll say be patient and wait another 10 days. Well if you're really pissed and threaten them, they'll say oh sorry to hear that, your package is being refused by your local post office and on its way back to our warehouse. Well, you know they'll never refund you because of the "we never receive the parcel back" excuse right?
So long story short, STAY AWAY FROM ALL THE HEADACHE AND HASSLE, save your time and money please!
I ordered 2 packages from ASOS WELL over a month ago, which were gifts yet have not arrived. I contacted ASOS regarding this NUMEROUS times their responses were extremely slow and not helpful at all- all reiterating the same useless response that I had received before. After contacting them multiple times I FINALLY find out that both packages were lost WEEKS after. You would imagine that they would issue me a new packages ASAP, right? But no, it's been at least two weeks since and I have not been sent a replacement. When telling them to cancel the replacement and return my money, since I'm extremely unhappy with the customer service, I was told that they had sent me a replacement. However, this was untrue as was confirmed by the person I spoke to after. I am extremely frustrated with their slow and useless replies during this lengthy period where I have constantly been contacting them. I will never order from them again and don't recommend them to anyone, their customer service is appalling.
I have ordered 2 item with delivery before 1 PM on Saturday 15th March. I have received the tracking Number and the message from DPD courier that the parcel will be delivered before 10:50. I have tracked the delivery through the website and at 10:40 the driver was very close to my address. Then after 5 minutes appeared the following Message:
"Sorry, your parcel could not be delivered as your DPD driver could not find your address; we will update you here shortly"
So I have called the courier Customer Service on 11:05 AM and they said that the driver could not find the address and will be delivered on Monday
1. This courier always used to delivery from asos exactly the same address every fornight
2. Why after my phone call the driver did not come back in order to delivery the item?
3. The driver has my phone number, if really could not find the addres, why did not contact me?
At this point, I assume that the Item has never been dispached and this is a proper scam between Asos and the courier.
Plus, Asos does not have a Customer service and they do not care after they have received your money. This is a shame due to I have spent 360 Pounds in less than 3 months
I will make sure that no one will use anymore this website, as they are not serious.
Also, everything that you see on asos.com you can find easily on amazon.com. Plus, they have a proper customer service and they make sure that you will receive your order in time, otherwise they are ready to help you!
Return attempts--could not contact them with returns assistance--until after the 28th day. Then told, "Oh, sorry. You're at day 29."
They change prices for the same mother $#*!ing item, over and over again. We need to shut these $#*!ers down!
Thank you very much for the online store, they are always distinguished by good quality clothes, very attentive, excellent managers.
I ordered a set of bracelets for his birthday, used a coupon code from Unidays, and was excited because I knew he would love it. I ordered the bracelets 4 weeks in advance. It took a week for the package to get here, and when I opened it, it was an ugly black watch. I sent in a query on the website saying that I had received the wrong item, they got back to me in a reasonable time and the first customer care associate was nice, but I was upset that the company refused to compensate me in any way above sending me the actual bracelets I ordered after I sent them proof of the mailing receipt saying I sent the watch back to them.
I got to the post office and mailed the watch back, got a receipt, took a picture, and emailed it to the email I had been in correspondence with only to find that they had deactivated my query claiming that it was resolved! I had to go through the entire query process again, finally got ahold of someone else in customer care, less friendly than the first. It is now less than a week before my boyfriend's birthday.
I let him know about what had happened and he told me that due to a "technical glitch", they could only refund me and could not send out the bracelets I had ordered until I went and reordered the item! I expressed my disappointment in the company and that I would not buy from them again. EVER. And that I was going to share my experience with others and discourage every possible customer from buying from ASOS ever again. I now have nothing for my boyfriend, and will never buy from ASOS again. No one else ever should either
I love Asos so much that I have the app on my phone and have purchased the membership to have one year of 'free' two-day shipping. The items are high-quality and it seems like they really try to keep that consistent when picking clothes from other brands (i. E., Boohoo brand clothes are often very cheap quality, but the Boohoo brand clothing they sell on Asos are very nice and often substantial in fabric). Asos is always on track with the latest and upcoming trends so I always make sure to check them first whenever I'm feeling a little adventurous with my style. I also love how they stock well-known brands (Adidas, Dr. Martens, Missguided, Aldo, etc) and regional brands that don't ship directly to the USA (Stylenanda, Pull&Bear, Monki, etc) which makes them a great one-stop spot for your clothes-shopping needs.
It seems like most of the complaints about Asos is about shipping. You guys have to understand that this is a risk that inherently comes with online shopping. Read everything during your checkout process and make sure that if you want a tracking number, you gotta choose a delivery service that includes one. Also, be patient with customer service. Don't rage all over your emails and expect them to not feel threatened and intimidated. They are human beings too. Be decent and calm and work WITH your customer service representative in resolving the issue. Also understand that once your order leaves their warehouse, the journey to your house becomes largely a responsibility of the shipping company. While you should expect Asos to help you make sure that you get your items and/or provide explanations about the problems, take into account that they also have to deal with the shipping company and can only do so much if anything was to happen with your items.
Edit: I would like to give notice: I once ordered a pair of chelsea boots and they arrived slightly dirty and packed carelessly. I love the boots so I kept them. They have been a great addition to my wardrobe but do take in mind that you might encounter some less stellar experiences.
I ordered a pair of Doc Martens. I received them in a couple days and got free shipping. Love my boots! Exactly as pictured & size ran true.
I had to pay an extra $15 at the post office once my package arrived. Not happy at all and not ordering again. They're a bunch of crooks
It's to be hoped you never have anything that needs a replacement, bought my wife some Vivienne Westwood shoes (so not a cheap item) first time they were faulty it took 8 days to get a reply, the site tells you to deal with the issue through the help portal but no facility for replacements, I emailed them, called them and got VW customer care to contact them, their website says email them, you do that you get a response saying it's an unattended email address and no response, so you call it's go straight to hold and says call back press 1 for customer care but every time goes straight to hold you could spent the rest of your life doing this
Second time (2 weeks later) shoes are faulty again, same thing for 3 days except this time I get through on twitter, I get a call saying they will replace the shoes free of charge, amazing given they are faulty, the girl also thinks it's funny to refer to them as my shoes and laughs when she does so, the shoes changed a tiny amount between the first and second pair and went up £38 I had to pay £13 of this, I asked as a gesture of goodwill after all the problems for this to be refunded, Emily said she would check then emailed me to say they would do it but it would make the shoes non returnable, given two faulty pairs and consumers rights I suggested 3 times by email they should re-consider that offer but of course they never replied
I have been waiting for my refund for 4 months. This is inexcusable! Do NEVER pay by credit card or you might never see your money again.
Don't know what is with ASOS last time some one stole my package and they said i that I am a liar is the worst experience in life number of my order *******
My order came very quickly, I am completely satisfied with the quality and packaging, everything came in good condition
I am not satisfied because the customer service is terrible and it is practically an offense for us consumers
Answer: Hello Em, Yes it is true. The site has very poor delivery and customer service. I do not recommend it.
Answer: Doubt it, I don't think they sell any knock off's. Depending on the print you got, some of them don't have stripes. Hope that helps.
Answer: No. They will find 101 reasons to screw you out of your money
Answer: No. If anything it has gottten worse.
Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.
Answer: Your only option with asos is live chat. I used it just now and also a few days ago and it worked just fine. They solved all my issues. Chat is the only way to contact.
Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
