My iPhone shows status of battery charge on the login screen. Batteries plus will not give warranty on battery unless I give the passcode. Why do they need passcode? I'd be careful with these folks!
Tried to get a replacement for a car battery I purchased 18 months ago. The Manager would not honor the warrant because the battery wouldn't charge. He was Incredibly rude. Don't use Batteries +. Terrible Management.
Twice, I have bought batteries and promised no hassle replacement while in warranty. Both of these batteries went bad and both times instead of replacement I was told they would put it on a charger for a week and I would have to come back. 20 mile trip! I promised the person today, that I would spend no more with their company. He acted as if he didn't care so I'm done!
Bad customer service!
AGM battery within warranty period, they refuse to honor the warranty. They kept the battery for 2 days, "tried to force a charge into the battery" called to say it failed to charge and its my fault, abuse of the battery, or the car has a mechanical issue or parasitic draw, which it does not. I asked about the warranty coverage, no coverage since its my fault. $200+ plus battery is now useless. My vehicle is driven regularly, new alternator installed when their junk battery was installed. Rudest people I have ever dealt with and terrible customer service.
The Fort Wirth Camp Bowie employees were very nasty when I tried to exchange a battery (unopened) for a smaller size. The manager was extremely unfriendly and would not exchange for me. They saw my name in the register as a regular customer but when I purchased the last battery they did not put it in the register. There are plenty of other places to purchase batteries, which I will do.
I tried to write review with the company. Did much research and hit a dead end. I chatted with them on customer service line and left with mixed feelings. Company policy, the individual franchise decide what to do. I made a purchase and North Olmsted, OH store. It was find by when I questioned man about recycling he said, "we don't do that." The Parma Store does (Parma, OH)! I will make purchases from them from now on. # on receipt EWHV05OID0
Did not replace adhesive when replacing the cracked screen. Used the old adhesive - as a result the new screen does not seat down properly. They told me this after the repair was completed!
I was disappointed after I paid $65 to have my iPhone battery replaced. The new battery that Batteries plus put in, doesn't seem to hold charge any better than the old battery. I still have to charge the battery twice a day. Odd, Isn't it?
This business failed to honor its battery policy stating that we didn't perform the proper maintenance on the battery. Really don't think any of the clerks know what they are talking about. States that it is veteran owned, hard to believe this.
Worse place I have e ever been. Got my phone screen fixed as they advertised on the website. 200$ later my screen is fixed except it was broken again. How hard is it to fix a $#*!ing phone screen the right way. I will never be back and never should you. $#*! batteries plus
Ordered a battery for my boat after hours of research and online shopping. Batteries plus stated it was in stock and available. I purchased it online to pick up at the store and when I got there the clerk informed me that they don't have that battery. I asked when they would have it, he said" maybe next week". I told him the website said it was I stock and he told me I should have called to check. I also had boat bulbs to purchase, but I just left instead of giving them any of my hard earned money. Never will.
Waste of time and gas. Plus the clerk was a jerk. So the name should be No Batteries Plus Jerks.
I guess muncy waited on me. He was efficient, polite, asked if i needed anything else, like different kinds of batteries, bulbs. It was a pleasure going in there and get greeted so nice. So man y stores do nothing. He is an asset to your company.
I have had a bad experience with 4 batteries purchased 2 years ago. 3 have failed and one was replaced only to fail again. The other two they kept saying was okay and now that they are 2 weeks out of warranty, they won't do anything. 2 different stores had the batteries overnight and one person said it was borderline. I worked on my motorhome for weeks and my problems came back to the battery. I brought it in, they said they would charge it and let me know. Now they say it's bad and too bad out of warranty by 2 weeks. Don't tell me the battery went bad in a months time. I am not a happy customer. The one battery they did replace now stays hot, and they said not to bring it back as they won't replace a battery they have already replaced. So give us crappy batteries when we do have a failure, or postpone saying its bad until the warranty runs out. Really a sad company.
Purchased a new battery for my cell phone among other batteries (key fob, garage door & pet collar for remote door) from a new BP in Los Lunas New Mexico. The customer service was fantastic and it's so nice to have a cell phone that holds a charge all day long and I don't have to charge it every 2 hours. So glad to have a store in the area. I will certainly be back.
I had one order from here. The batteries came as ordered BUT this was a situation for me when I needed a purchase from an online store. My personal advice for anyone - if you need batteries - get those in your local store. May be more expensive, but atleast you see what you`re buying.
Me and girls were talking about this with Annie at the luncheon and I was told the young lady who takes care of all us old broads so well with so much patience even when that black boy who wears his pants down so we get to see his crack or the white im not sure what he is talks to her so crudely and dismisses her as if he knows more. But i'm here to tell you she was the only reason I didnt go other places. She even helped and my neighbor in person one day at our home. Above and beyond she was and you didnt appreciate her well we see you! And what kind of man lets go a good worker at Christmas and I know she fights to stay healthy. We have seen her without her hair and her feeling under the weather but she still picked up a heavy battery and put it in my truck. You didnt appreciate your worker and karma works for all. We will look for her and I hope she is ok because you took a dump on the only worker that made it so I didnt mind paying for overpriced items I will spread this news to all I meet.
Worst place you can buy a battery from. They lie to their customers, and the warranty is good for nothing. I bought three batteries, one battery was free maintenance two they never said anything to me and when I brought it back they didn't do anything for me besides say they can't do anything, not even a credit when my battery still had warranty. Not going to recommend battery plus to anyone.
These folks sold me batteries (replacement ones) supposedly compatible to the ones I requested for my vintage Bulova watch. If these guys are the experts in batteries (I assume this because it's in the name of their company) then they should know that alkaline batteries are unreliable for this type of watch and should have given me silver oxide. But no they wait until I open the package and then tell me - no matter what - I can not return the batteries. "It's probably a defective watch," says the salesman. "Unlikely, I said, "it was working before," No response.
I take it to another store - a big store whose name begins with W and ends with T and... guess what? I got the right batteries from a store that does not specialize in batteries.
Hhhhmmm. Might be a good idea for these folks should rethink their name... you think?
Went to store #429 on International Airport Rd. The manager looked at my battery and refused to install new one because he said the cable was welded to the battery. WELDED! How dumb is that. I asked to borrow tools but he refused. I found a socket set in my trunk and had both cables undone in less than a minute. I asked if he would carry out battery and just put it in place and I would reconnect cables. He refused again. I am a 65 year old handicap women and not one employee would help me because the manager told them not too. I am disgusted with the manager. Anyone stupid enough to think you could weld a battery cable to the battery doesn't deserve to hold that position or so lazy he couldn't help me. Shame on you Battery Plus you lost a loyal customer of over 20 years.
Horrible, when you make an appointment and you drive an hour to get there to find out, they don't have somebody who fixes phones on the weekends. Funny, you shouldn't be able to make an appointment on a day. Nobody's there, much less you think somebody would call me and tell me when they get in that day to say hey ma'am, there's nobody here that can fix the phone don't waste your time, total bull$#*! not very helpful whatsoever waste of my time in the girl act like she could give a $#*!. Too bad zero is not a rating.
