My grandmother purchased a vacuum and couldn't return it within the purchase year due to covid and they won't even replace the broken vacuum! It does not hold a charge at all and has no use or function. Called customer service for them to offer a 20% discount code... really? That's all? I can find that discount code with a google search. Poor poor customer service. Will not be purchasing from them again.
This company gives you a hard time about returning their product the battery died on my pet stain eraser I practically had to give my blood to prove that their product sucks I wouldn't recommend buy their products to anyone
I purchased the Bissell from Walmart. This is the 2nd and final Bissell I will ever purchase. The vacuum works for 4 or 5 cleanings. Then it no longer will pick up anything. I contacted the company. They guided me in removing the plate and going into the side hose where all the dirt had jammed preventing any more dirt to be picked up. This is the 2nd Bissel I purchased with the same POOR DESIGN. There is absolutely no reason that dirt should be jammed in the side hose section and the consumer has to clean out the tunnel of the side hose. Do yourself a favor and look for a quality more expensive vacuum. These cheap poorly built vacuums are not worth it.
When we first bought it was great. Wasn't long after we used a piece broke and we had to tape it. Now the base wires broke and we paid full price for this. Is cheaply made that plastic piece breaks within a month and now the wires break. I have a vacuum that I have had for 30 years and still going good just not cordless. Guess I'll save my money and use my old faithful.
Bissell's local authorized service center network for their vacuum cleaners is a joke. But don't expect better from their corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Bissell's Consumer Services Manager, Ravi Scharbaan, never returns calls. Alison, the "administrative assistant" to CEO, Mr. Mark Bissell, covers up corporate inadequacies with one excuse after another.
Mr. Mark Bissell signs his name to his "Thanks" for buying his product and alludes to his great-grandfather's invention. To wit:
"Your BISSELL vacuum is well made, and we back it with a limited, three-year warranty. We also stand behind it with a knowledgable, dedicated Consumer Services department, so should you ever have a problem, you'll receive fast, considerate assistance."
The facts belie his words. What he actually offers is DIS-SERVICE.
Bottom line, don't ever buy a Bissell product. Their "warranties" are worthless.
If purchasing I definitely don't recommend purchasing through website, I've brought the washer 2889F straight from the website and was unlucky enough to receive a faulty product, gave out in barley 20mins of use as belt refused to stay on, been $#*!ed around with phone calls getting told they'll be getting back to me withing 24hours, twice, third time getting told I'll be getting a phone call back from manager, which also didn't happen, more emails, I've now been left with pretty short emails telling me to simply fill out the return form. Which states in their terms and conditions that not only do I have to cover shipping costs but am also liable to any damage or misplacement that may occur during transit. Not to mention that product must be received within 14 days of contact from my end but also give at least 8 to 10 for shipping. Too many loop holes to be screwed when I received a faulty product and not just simply changed my mind. I wish I've simply gone into a shop to make this purchase as I'm sure this would've been dealt with alot quicker and with more effort from the staff end.
I would give there products a 5 star review but I think s big company like Bissell would strive to make there products last longer the problem is there hoses. They always break from usage
Not one, but two Bissell carpet cleaners didn't work and Bissell wouldn't refund my money. I bought an inexpensive Bissell carpet cleaner through Amazon. Because I was taking care of my invalid mother, I did not open the package until after Amazon's return window had closed. The machine did not work. I contacted Bissell and they said they would replace the machine and sent another inexpensive machine to me, and not only did it not work, it left a streak of dirty water and some sort of rubber on my carpet. I contacted Bissell again and asked for my money back. They refused. They said they would give me credit off of a more expensive machine, but I would have had to spend a considerable amount of money to get the equivalent discount off of the purchase price. They offered another inexpensive machine to be sent to me, or I could return the machine to them with documentation proving that it had damaged my carpet and they would consider if I had a claim. After months of emails back-and-forth to Bissell and since I didn't have any faith this would go positively for me I refused. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they contacted Bissell immediately, and Bissell offered me the exact same options that they previously offered me. I refused them again and the Better Business Bureau closed the matter. Bissell's excuse for not refunding my original $100 was that I did not buy the machine from them. Since they made the machine I would think they would stand behind it. They will not.
Staff at Bissel are absolutely useless if u want parts forget it they don't know there products wanted part 4 my machine getting the runaround
I bought the BISSELL Crosswave Pet Pro All in One Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner and Mop for Hard floors and Area Rugs, 2306 from Amazon. I own a Bissell Carper cleaner that I absolutely love and thought this product would be just as good. I was wrong! This vac/mop clogs instantly and starts to smell like it's burning. Then shuts off. It's been two months and I'm too scared to use it. They will not let me return it and I got scammed by Bissell for $300! I'm so unhappy with them.
So then I called customer service who told me this product is not for pets. How can you advertise a pet cleaning machine that's not for pets!? You said it was for egg on the floor. (Honestly, they did!) Anyone with dogs knows that there is never egg left on a floor! They farm out their customer service to some overseas company meant to soothe you and in the end say, you are sh*t outta luck sucker.
I got scammed by Bissell and the bot keeps saying call this number. Well I did and you offered me a free brush! Woohoo. What a piece of garbage. I want my money back and I won't stop reporting on the terrible customer service until you do. So it's this design that sucks. Feel free to credit me anytime you want Bissell
Answer: Just I called and I did not have to wait to get a person and not like answer automatic voice, the person was very nice and kind and after the call i got an email and Bissel keep me informed about my request. It was so easy to get customer service.
