I have shopped at Boohoo periodically for 8+ years or so. I never had a problem with their returns... until now. Apparently, in 2020 their policy changed and now you have to pay for your own returns (which I don't remember that being one of their policies before), and they only give you 7 days to do it. This was the first purchase I made since we had gone into lockdown, and I had no idea that the policies had changed. I can't believe I had to pay extra for shipping return products when they had just gotten about $300 from me for the original purchase, and I had kept 2/3rds of it!
Regardless, I jumped through their hoops... and well, after many, many emails to their customer service, they eventually told me they had refunded it, but look as hard as I could, I couldn't find it! They told me the date it should had shown up on my statement, it was not there. So finally, after reviewing my purchases online and scouring my creditcard statements I discovered that they had backdated the refund to the date of purchase! The only way I could actually confirm this was to download my statements. There, I was able to find the actual day I was refunded.
What a waste of my time and effort, for a measly $123. All in all, ignoring that I continued to contact them an extra month because I could not find the refund, it took 39 days for this refund to reach me from the date I shipped them back. Thirty. Nine. Days. Unbelievable... Do you know what would have happened if I didn't pay my credit card for 39 days? 20% interest, baby! I'm no mathematician, but wouldn't that give me an extra $25 they should be paying me? I mean, I had to float this bull$#*! cost in the meantime. Let's also take into account the $15 for the shipping label they made me pay, the gas for the special trips I had to make to the staples (paying to print the label they sent me via email since I don't have a home printer), and then to the post office to accommodate their 7 day window. Then, let's not forget the hours of time I wasted on chat and email communication just trying to get my money back...
Boohoo never used to be like this, but I will not be shipping here any longer!
NEVER PAY VIA CREDIT CARD, ALWAYS PAY VIA PAYPAL. PAYPAL OFFERS BUYER PROTECTION. Ist time buying from boohoo... Name seems appropriate seeing that if they send you the wrong item ul be stuck with it so BOOHOO. I wish I read the comment section before I purchased from here. Damm it. I purchased 1 shirt and 2 sets of leggings... Today I received 1 set of leggings and a plus size pair of jeans, which I did not order. I contacted them through pm and received a reply from Wasim saying to send them back and they'll happily give me a refund... WTF How about sending me the correct items as I still want them. I believe they are a really dodgy, scamming company. I've read all the comments from customers complaining that they never receive a refund even after 5 weeks, most people would give up by then.

4)They get their items back and also have your money(keep)
Luckily I have paid through paypal and I have just now opened a claim as paypal offer buyer protection. Will report this company to the department of fair trading
I've bought clothing from boohoo.com many times, and first of all i've got to say that the customer service is top notch. My orders have always been filled correctly, the shipping is FREE and fast, tracked and traced, and they email you status updates on your order. So the free shipping is if you spend a certain amount, in my case it's $40NZD being in New Zealand, and parcel always take around a week to arrive. Which is awesome considering that it's practically coming from the other side of the world.
Boohoo.com have a huge range of clothing, it takes me ages to trawl my way through all the pages and decide what I really want. Which adds to the fun of online shopping I reakon! Although there is such a high volume of options on offer at boohoo.com, In my opinion the styles appeal solely to a certain age range, teens- 20 somethings. A lot of it I think would be inappropriate for a more mature person, thankfully i'm still young enough to get away with it!: P
There is ALWAYS a sale on at boohoo.com, one ends and another begins constantly, which means you can get a lot for your money! The common sales seem to be 20-30% off everything, but they will have sales on all sorts at different times.
My only gripe with boohoo.com is that while I love some Items I purchase, others i'm not terribly happy with the quality. The fabrics can sometimes be really cheap looking, and i've noticed inconsistencies with the sizings, so make sure you measure yourself up for the item you intend to purchase. I'm generally a UK size 8 and some items in this size from boohoo.com fit me perfectly, while others are a bit on the smaller side.
Overall, I definitely recommend shopping at boohoo.com. Although if you're fussy about the quality of fabrics just be aware that they can be a bit cheapish, this doesn't affect the quality of construction of the garnment however, which has always been fine in my experience.

Boohoo has really dropped the ball with this experience. When I was first ordering my items on 7/24 for my birthday, I kept getting an error that my transaction was declined and that I needed another form of payment. I contacted my bank and they OK'd everything. At that point, I contacted Boohoo via their Twitter help team. As most of these clothing customer support teams do, I was thrown in circles of trying a different browser, clearing my cache, or using another device. Nothing worked! Fortunately, I thought quickly and connected the card I was using to my PayPal and tried again... finally went through. That was strike one. Clearly there was some type of glitch with their system that they failed to recognize. Once I ordered, I immediately checked my shipping, because I need the package by 8/2, as I'm going out of town the next day, which is why I ordered when I did. The website promised 6 DAY SHIPPING specifically (between 7/31-8/2), NOT 8-10 days, and had I known it would take longer, I would have done overnight/2 day shipping in the first place. It's now 7/31 and my package is showing a new delivery estimate of 8/3-8/7. DHL, their shipping company is so slow! My birthday will be passed and I'll be back from my trip by then! This is unacceptable. I've been a loyal Boohoo customer, so this is a shock. The help team just says there's nothing they can do. ALSO, when I called DHL to see what they could do, they said that the 6 day shipping starts when the package reaches the DHL location and is processed there, which already takes about 2 days, but the Boohoo website SPECIFICALLY says the package is " Yours within 6 business days of PLACING YOUR ORDER". Anyone can go on the website and see it says that so there are NO excuses. PULL MY PACKAGE AT ITS NEXT DESTINATION AND HAVE IT TO ME ON TIME.
DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! If I could rate them least then one star I would, they deserve all the negatives possible. By far one of the worst companies I've ever shopped from and I'm just sad that I didn't see more reviews before hand. I trusted too many youtubers and I regret it, they only care about the people promoting their brand. Well, I'm going to be leaving this message on every YouTube review and every review site I can find. This was my first and last time shopping from here and I'm encouraging all my friends and family not to shop here either. I really hope this company gets shut down.
I spent over $100 on cyber Monday which was November 28th, and I paid extra money to have my clothes within 6 business days. It is now December 12th and still nothing. Tracking is awful and doesn't work half the time, I was told I'd get my stuff on the 3rd, then the 7th, then the 12th, and now they are saying the 16th. I tried contacting customer service but just got automated responses. This is honestly the worst company ever, and I just want a refund for the shipping and the damn clothes that I still do not have. Btw, if you want a refund you have to pay money to ship it back. Can't say anything on the quality obviously because I still don't have my stuff. Terrible Terrible Terrible. Seriously if you are considering it just don't.
They are the WORST.
I live in the us and have ordered items before and it was fine, everything arrived on time. This time i ordered a few things a week ahead of Christmas and chose delivery that would ensure it would be there on Christmas eve. My items never arrived. When i tried to find the number to call to see where my things were i found no number. I emailed as the website suggests and got an automated message followed by an email saying my package had been lost. I responded that i still wanted the items and i was assured they could be reordered and sent express so i would not have to wait another week. I received another email that two items were not in stock, i agreed to just have the other items sent. I got another email that they were being send standard delivery and i wouldn't get them for another week and a half. When i tried to respond and tell them that express delivery was promised since my package was lost by them and not me, i received another automated response and another email telling me AGAIN that the other two items weren't in stock, as if they hadn't read the prior correspondence. I tweeted at the company twice and got no response. I just want my money back at this point because its ridiculous. Upon calling the number to the office i had online the receptionist told me customer service "doesn't have access to phones" and that i should tweet for a quick response (Which i already did). After i insisted that i did everything i was supposed to do and things still weren't working she claimed she had no way to contact anyone from customer service. As a receptionist for a company that seems silly. And downright stupid. Long story short they are fine if there are no problems with delivery, but if there are, you're screwed because there is no way to get a straight answer from customer service.
I ordered my clothes on april 11th and they have been in tennessee since april 13th. It's now may 15th. I just wanna know where my clothes are
Recently, I had two items in my Boohoo cart that I was planning to purchase. Both items were 60% off. But at checkout, I was only receiving a 51% discount. I checked my math multiple times and even had my husband do the math to ensure my accuracy. Oddly, Boohoo was not calucating my discount properly. So I emailed customers support. Instead of apologizing for the incovenience, offering a new discount code or event providing an explaination for the error, 4 different customer reps continued to give me the run around and asks for scree shots of my checkout. I explained in my initial complaint that their customer service email portal would not allow me to provide a full "Screen Shot," so I did the next best thing, and cut and pasted the pricing, discount and tax information from my cart. And I provided the item numbers of both pieces of clothing that I was attempting to purchase. My email was thorough, clear and consise. And the information that I cut and pasted reflected that I was only receiving a 51% discount. After being contacted by a 4th Boohoo customer representative, I gave them a piece of my mind because clearly they are not use to gettting caught ripping customers off. My advice to anyone shopping at Boohoo is to relax and not get excited when you so see: 40%, 50%, 60% or 75% off sales because I promise you that once you check out, if you calculate the discount for yourself, you will see that you are not getting the full discount as advertised. Take heed and please tell a friend. The owners of this site are literally printing money and they lack both integrity and customers service. There is no reason to be ripping customers off like this other than GREED!
