I heard about this website from one of my best friends. I was very amazed at how cheap their prices were and how often they did these bizarre sales. I was ordering from them about every week, never had an issue with my shipment until NOW! They are so lucky they don't have a store that I can personally walk in and whoop someone $#*!. I ordered my parcels December 11th, 2016 at 11am when they had the 60% off. I purchased a pair of boots and two dresses and guess what? It is now December 26th and I got NOTHING! I've emailed them over and over again and I'm tired of getting this damn email "Carina,

Thanks for your email.

I'm really sorry your order is late. This is due to a recent increase in the number of security checks at US Customs.

I get how disappointing this is so I have refunded your delivery charge.

If you have any further queries, in the meantime, please don't hesitate to ask.

Kind Regards,

Sean
Boohoo Customer Services"

They refunded me $6 dollars for shipment after like the 6th email. Just like everyone else in these reviews... CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! They don't do anything to make sure the customer is happy. Like, what the hell is $6 dollars? I just need them to tell me where my package is at? The tracking number is fake. I contacted my post office and they didn't know what that number was... THIS COMPANY DONT CARE. They suck you in by letting them be on time with first, second and third shipment and when they see you ordering and ordering. That's when they want to f@@@ up your order. I want to believe and think it's taking this long because of the holidays, but not almost a whole month and then I'm getting notifications telling me about next day delivery and stuff! Like, how can you put up next day delivery when ppl already don't have their package?. Just look at the name. We complain and they're like "boooo hooo" lmao

My order was placed on the 18th of March for delivery on the 30th. I was then told that my items had arrived in Australia and that I would receive them in the next few days. I was then told by Australian post that no items had arrived and that Boohoo had lied and only sent the tracking number. I was then told by Boohoo that the items are "missing" and that Boohoo are conducting an investigation into where they are. I was later told by Boohoo that the items are probably being held up at customs and that they can only be tracked down 28days after they had been dispatched. Now, nearly a month later, I receive an email saying that Boohoo have received my "returned" items and will action my refund in 30days. I never saw these items and therefore could not have returned them. I have not received an explanation. So essentially Boohoo borrowed $109.79 for two months (by the time my refund reflects.) Since I paid for these items on my credit card, this little adventure with Boohoo has actually cost me money and countless hours of my time without anything to show for it? It is unbelievable that this business is still operating with this kind of service! Lesson learnt! I will ensure that I never order from this revolting platform again and will ensure that everyone I interact with is aware of the kind of "service" to be expected from this "business!"

I will keep a keen eye out for my refund, however if this is not received, as so many of the people on here suggest is the case, I will be contacting other unhappy customers of Boohoo to put together a group claims case. Companies like this need to be held accountable! My Cousin is a substantial lawyer in the UK and believes we have a case against this business.

Boohoo, I guess.
October 30, 2021

God I wish I had read reviews on TrustPilot and SiteJabber before buying their stuff. I made an order yesterday and these scammers charged me twice.

Messages that I've sent them:

1. Somehow clothes from Order Number: MI******* were duplicated to my new order Order Number: MI******* so I paid for them twice. Please cancel Order MI******* ASAP. I have never put duplicate clothes to my second order. It was a mistake of the website or something like this! It's horrible that I have to wait until it will come to me and make a return, it's nonsense.
2. Your system has a flaw since it had put duplicated items, that I paid for already, in my basket. Solving a problem on your end is your work, as well as solving any problems regarding your store, system and logistics; you're deciding to solve this problem the lazy way at my expense since I will pay for refunding the items. That's not good, I don't understand why this is the way you communicate with your customers. I ask you to at least try to do something with this situation, please, not just copy-paste the answer from the FAQ. I'm sorry if I sound disrespectful, English isn't my first language and I'm very frustrated that something like this happened — I checked everything while I was paying and didn't see any duplicated items. Thank you for your time, hope to hear from you soon.

Messages that I've got:

1. My apologies, but as soon as you place your order, we're on it – we know you need it fast! Unfortunately, this means we will be unable to make any changes to the order nor cancel it as it's already being processed at the warehouse. I know this isn't ideal for you, but you'll need to return the items once it arrived to you for a refund.
2. I hope you're doing well. I'm super sorry to hear your order has processed twice! I am unable to cancel an order once it has been placed. Once an order has been placed, I am unable to cancel, amend or edit the order as the order goes into process straight away. Our warehouse team begin working their magic as they work on thousands of orders each day, so it is hard for them to switch details or cancel orders that have been packed. Not to worry, once you have received your order, you're more than welcome to return this back to us by using our returns portal and a refund will be processed for you within 28 days from the date you returned your items back to us, so please do keep your postage receipt safe until you have been refunded
3. I'm sorry you feel this way Amelia and for any inconvenience caused by this, once orders have been placed and processed we don't have the facility to cancel/amend these. I'm afraid the only option we can offer is for your items to be returned back to us once delivered, you can use the link below.

Well that's fun, isn't it? I will update the review once I got the stuff, but since everyone says that quality is horrible I'm not so sure I will be the lucky one.

You could at least offer to pay for the return

Had no issue!
May 10, 2015

Ordered from boohoo May 2nd, around…7 PM. Then I read the reviews here, I freaked out. Tried to cancel the order but the company says once you send the order it's almost impossible to cancel it and instead you have to refund it after receiving the items and sending them back. I didn't even go through PayPal just in case I had a dispute on my hands which was careless of me.

Nervously, I emailed them and told them I was extremely worried about their bad reviews and I need to know what steps to take in case my package doesn't arrive and where can I find real legitimate reviews on them that are actually positive. The response was WONDERFUL! Next day my items shipped. They told me not to worry and gave me instructions just in case they didn't arrive and told me I would be updated every step of the way. Which I was! Tracking number wasn't helpful at first so I just crossed my fingers and waited. On the 7th I got an email about my items being 3 days out estimated and a real working tracking number! On the 9th I got my items, which the estimated days were the 11th-15th. Tried them on FIT WONDERFULLY. The quality reminds me of forever 21 but a little better. Maybe Target. The bathing suit was my favorite, so pretty and colorful and a great fit (was worried my butt would show like in all other bathing suits and it didn't). I bought a sweater a size bigger (well I'm in between sizes so I got the larger one) and that fit perfectly. I'm excited, the clothes on the website are cute to me for reasonable prices. I won't say cheap and I won't say expensive. So, it's worth it. I love this site and will certainly buy from them again.

I used to purchase quite a bit from boohoo, and had a several issues with the quality of my purchases (one clutch in particular broke as soon as i took it out of the package, the chain snapped right at the loop, etc.) but I've had enough.

October 6th 2016 - I ordered 200$+ worth of items from their website, my order was confirmed.
October 8th 2016 - boohoo emailed me that some of the items I had already paid for were actually out of stock (even though they already charged me for them) and that they would not be shipped and I would be refunded. I also clarified this on the website but the items I wanted in my sizing were still showing as available. I disregarded this.
November 2016 - I didn't recieve my packages until the first week of November, three weeks later than my estimated arrival date. At this point I still had not recieved my refund. I contacted customer service to speed the process along, to which they replied that they could not issue a refund until the items were recieved back into their warehouse. WTF?
They had told me those items were out of stock and couldn't ship.
Their response time was abolutely horrible to top it off, as every time you send an email to customer service (even if you're in the middle of dealing with the issue already) you are pushed to the very bottom of the queue and they send you an email claiming they will respond in 48 hours. And they milk that 2 day window.

I DID NOT RECIEVE MY REFUND UNTIL JANUARY 2017. 3 months after my initial purchase!

I recieved an email from boohoo with a "credit" of $50, with a promo code. I thought hey, I'll spend this 50 and wash my hands of this company forever. This code was refused on their website. So I emailed customer service again. They then proceeded to ask me to go ahead and place the order, and they can just refund me.

I'm flabbergasted. I will never buy from this company. Super shady. STAY AWAY!

This company are an utter disgrace, and could not care less about their customers. I ordered a bikini from them on 21st Aug 2015, but as it did not fit, returned it using their own returns label, SELF ADDRESSED. Days and days went by with no confirmation of them receiving my return. I checked the Royal MAIL tracking site - as I obtained proof of postage - and it had been DELIVERED to their Preston Centre. Upon contacting Boohoo? DENIAL, DENIAL, DENIAL that they had received it. They would not even bother to accept the tracking number, and insisted on me photographing my proof of postage and attaching it in an email, which I did so. Days later I finally receive an email stating they had refunded me. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. I paid £16.59 IN total, after a promo code had been applied. They refunded me only £12.60. I emailed them - 'It is because you used a promo code' which is totally irrelevant and illogical... I replied that I paid a total of £16.59, and wanted my full refund. They then refunded an extra amount of - for some unknown reason - £1.80, once again still not amounting to my full payment. This now made a total of £14.40... and I had paid £16.59! Once again, i contacted them to state that they still had not fully refunded me, then today I get a reply telling me that they had 'deducted the postage costs, and cannot refund postage', which again, is a downright scam on two counts. Firstly, postage is quoted on their site as £3.99, so even if that was the reason for the deduction, the figures do not equate, and secondly, THEY ARE BREAKING CONSUMER LAWS BY NOT ISSUING A FULL REFUND! I would NEVER use this company again. They are incompetent thieves, and I shall be reporting them to Trading Standards and issuing them with a CCJ tomorrow - which is easily done online now. DO NOT USE BOOHOO OR BUY A THING FROM THEM! If I could, I would give them ZERO stars.

I've bought numerous clothes from them to the point I was getting a couple a week usually small or medium sizing. Jackets, t shirts jeans and trousers. Then they released XS in sizing which me being about 5ft8 - 11 stone 7, I was happy but actually this has ruined my experience as now, extra small or small is way to big. To the point where my extra small jacket that's not oversized at all - or described as oversized fits my 6ft2 friend and his words it's to big, but apparently the model wears Medium being 6ft1! It's not even a little to big it's like a dressing gown on me. I know I'm not the tallest but I've never had a problem with sizing like this before. I bought cargos in a size small, way to big to the point where I can actually pull them up to my chest and they're still to big - so I bought extra small and they're exactly the same size if not it's extremely close. I went from mainly medium in their clothes to they do not fit what so ever. They offered me a refund when I return the item - which is fine but besides the point, they literally don't make clothes that would fit me anymore. I have the jacket to my dad who is 5ft11 but approx 15 stone who is happy is fits in this 'xs' sizing but it's still abit baggy on him. They told me it's done to industry sizing regulations but I do not believe this at all. It's not even exactly cheap anymore either so lesson learnt not to shop there again for myself - I'll pay abit extra and get branded clothes like Nike, medium fits me perfectly. My height wasn't a issue other than I can't reach the top shelf, turns out I'm too small for clothes too. The best part was their tailored size guild which goes off your height, weight and how you want the clothing to fit - I picked average fit and it actually recommended me a medium at 83% and large at 17%, think I would have suffocated if I bought 2 sizes up from XS and purchased medium.

So on Thursday around lunch time I clicked on a "60% off everything" Ad of BooHoo's website. I checked it out and they had an amazing deal going on with a great variety of clothing/boots I really liked. I found a lot of things I was interested in buying and placed them in my cart. I watched BooHoo haul videos on youtube to make sure this was a company I could trust and they were all positive reviews on their products. I went on google, ended up finding so many negative reviews including trustpilot of BooHoo and it made me think twice on placing my order. Thursday night I went ahead and gave them a chance. I ordered using Afterpay and got my confirmation email. Every company has their fair share of negative reviews that's why I took the chance. I paid extra for the USA Express Shipping which is supposed to take 2-3 days to deliver. Mind you, I ordered on Thursday around midnight of Friday Dec 7. I got a text Friday morning at 10am saying my delivery is scheduled for delivery on Monday Dec 10. Today is Saturday December 8 and I received my order around 10am instead of on Monday! OMG you guys! I am not kidding! It was by far the fastest shipping for anything I've ever ordered online. That's not even 2 days. Here are some things to consider though I live in Louisville, KY and my address is of a house. I don't live in an apartment so I don't know how packages are received for apt tenants. I also received a text and email regarding my tracking number with DHL. The text that I got on Friday morning shows when my order is scheduled to deliver by, it also tells me to click the link on the message to authorize delivery without signature or for other delivery options. This is very important because I don't think the courier will leave it without your approval. I also specifically said on there for them to leave it on the doorstep of my side garage (which is safer cos people won't see the package in front of my house, lowers chances of it getting stolen). Now the package I got is a huge BooHoo bag not a box. I think the design on the bag was really cute. Go on instagram, checkout #BooHoo, and you'll see what the bag looks like. Some people posted vids on their stories of receiving the bag. Another thing is that people have said it's normal for them to receive more than one bag (separate deliveries) especially if they've ordered a lot of items. Hopefully this gave y'all an idea and helped in any way. I also use ParcelTrack which is an app that lets me track everything I order via tracking number for any courier. It notifies me wherever my order is. I received the order from Lancashire, UK to Louisville, KY in 34 hours. Everything I ordered fit really well including the boots I got.

Lucky dip!
August 31, 2017

Over the past week or so I've had 4 orders from boohoo.

The first one was perfect came very quickly and was exactly what it looked like on the website. I was impressed. So I ordered again.

I ordered another dress that came quick and was perfect. Didn't exactly look like the pictures but for £12.00 who was I to complain? I still liked it. So I was happy.

The third parcel arrived. Again very quickly. The outfit I received was disgusting and the sizes were very small. I looked into sending it back and that isn't as simple as it may seem. I don't own a computer so how am I meant to print off the form?

Stupidly, I agreed to buying my boyfriend a cheap pair of shoes for a wedding on Saturday with next day delivery. Which said it would come between 18:00-22:00. I paid £7.99 on the Tuesday night to ensure they would arrive my next evening. They didn't arrive. Its now Thursday, I've tried all day today to contact boohoo and Uk mail who were sending my parcel. I finally found Boohoos customer service number. Mission almost in $#*!ing possible. You would think it would be clearly stated on their website but it isn't. I called and was put through to 'customer services' by one of their team. After being on hold, I finally spoke to someone who said. " I'm not much help, I'm just on reception, have you got Facebook? If so message on there, they will be more help. They will typically reply within an hour." I'm sorry but what company deals with their paying customers souly through Facebook? That sentence finally made something click in my brain. No professional company would have a crap customer care number and deal with their customers through social media alone.

I messaged. Because by this point I was desperate. I needed these poxy shoes. By latest 18:00 pm tonight as it would be the last time I see my boyfriend before the big day.

I explained. I was angry. I wanted to completely cancel the order. Get a refund and rush out tonight and buy another pair. Inconveniently.

And all their reply was...

Hi I'm really sorry but we cant cancel the order it is out for delivery today again if the delivery fails 3 times it'll be returned to us.

Really...

And as for U. K. Mail, well I won't even go there with that one. They have a number. But it's automated, real people don't exist and it cuts you off, if you don't press the number they want you to. So you can't even get help with your parcel.

The parcel arrived tonight at 20:00. A little too late. Well a whole day late.

So the moral of the story is don't bother paying the £7.99 for next day (evening) delivery because it's a complete and utter $#*!ing rip off. The service doesn't exist. They deliver when they feel like it.

Boo hoo...

Sort your customer care out. Seriously

Boohoo has the 60% Black Friday sale since Thanksgivings. I got four items and with the promo code applied and shipping the total was $63.99. But when I got my confirmation email, the total changed to $150. I checked my bank account and was also charged $150. Right away I contacted the customer service team through their twitter and email. On twitter, I pretty much got a different person responding to me every single time. Their response time is 30 min to an hour even though I would reply right after they respond. I started off by asking them if they can change the amount charged to the discounted total of $63.99 or cancel the order all together. They responded by giving me a list of reasons why the promo code did not work. Not addressing my inquiries of changing the order amount or canceling my order. I went through each of the reasons and still did not see how it went wrong. I responded, again asking for changing the amount or cancellation of order. They responded saying that they looked at my order and something in my cart was on sale before so the promo code didn't apply for the whole order. I looked again, and nothing was on sale, I was charged for the full price of every item which led the total to be $87 more than what I should have been charged if the promo code applied. This time I got pretty upset, they still haven't addressed what I wanted instead seems to blame it on me that the promo code did not work. I sent them the screen shot of my total with the promo code applied and also asked them to let me know which of the item is on sale because I do not seem to be able to spot it. Finally, someone told me to fill out the cancellation form. I filled it in right away and sent it to the customer services email and asked them if that was the right email to send it to. They directed me to the claims email so I also sent an email to them as well. This whole correspondence took almost a day. This morning when I woke up I got an email from customer services saying that they checked my order and it has already been dispatched. I can only wait for the order be sent to me and I have pay an addition fee in order to send it back! I wish I would have read more reviews before placing an order with them. I started to read them today and most of them say that their order either gets lost or gets delivered really late. It's funny how for my order they dispatched the order right away. I checked the status of my order and I did not have anything, so where are they getting their information? (also where are they getting the information that I bought something that was on sale before promo code? Guess we'll never know.) This is my worst shopping experience ever and I do not wish anyone else to have to go through this.
