I did find a caregiver. But, I thought the site was difficult to navigate. Using the site for the first time was very challenging. I also think it is quite expensive although I didn't know how to find a caregiver any other way besides going through a company and that way you don't always get quality people. So maybe paying a bit more will be worth it in the end. I am hopeful.
I sent a request for pet sitting, however the provider could not accommodate the request, care.com still charged me. There is no phone number and they make it difficult to connect to discuss issues, you email and wait for a response. Horrible customer care
Connie was an absolute dream. I had never used care.com before, so I was a little nervous but Connie put me at ease instantly! She is kind, sweet, generous, and thoughtful. She brought toys for our little girl to play with, even some age appropriate food. She thought of everything! She texted me updates throughout the babysitting service too, which I really appreciated. She was gentle and soft with our daughter and I think the two became quick friends! If we're ever in the CDA area again, we will for sure be calling Connie! I highly recommend her services - 10/10!
Connie is the best - instantly comforting; thoughtful; and generous. I would recommend her 10/10,100x over! We are very grateful for her professionalism, warmth, and kindness.
Previous sitter canceled on me and I was able to find help with watching my boys over the weekend through care.com. All of the sitters that I have found were from care.com & they have been a pleasure- the longest sitter that stayed with my family was for 5 years!

I've tried using Care.com multiple times and I get the same results. Care Givers does not show up and do not call to inform the client so a replacement can be called. I think I will stick with Rover.com at lease theirs someone at the helpdesk to speak to when something goes wrong.

I tried to cancel the siter who did not have any references. I had problems accessing the web site as I was traveling and did not have a customer service number.
The siter did NOT come to my house while I was gone.
My account was billed despite the fact no siter was ever at my house
Since my return I have sent an email explaining the situation and have had no response
I have only highlighted one star in order for this form to process not because I feel it is deserved

I booked a tutor and was all ready when they did not show. They told me that care.com did not notify them that I had confirmed. They showed me their screen which showed me they did not have any bookings. Yet, my screen said "hire again" as if I had booked them. This wasted the time I had set aside for tutoring. Customer service has not responded.

I was quite specific in that I was looking for someone to pet sit my PARROTS so, why did I get a bunch of folks saying they sat dogs or cats?
Also, I posted when the position was filled but have still been getting applications to the job.
Finally, what does the button "Not Interested" supposed to mean? Is it that I, the poster, am not interested in the applicant or the person applying is not interested in the job? Wording could be better on this button.

I have found some GREAT babysitters through Care.com, but continue to be extremely frustrated with the overall Care.com booking process. There is always a breakdown of communication with Care.com. I speaking specifically of the website itself. I have booked sitters that didn't receive the booking, I have had bookings confirmed and then cancelled with no explanation. I have given details to sitters that didn't receive the information. It is frustrating.
All I can say is that if you book a sitter, please reach out to them directly and create a direct line of communication because you cannot depend on the website to facilitate pertinent information.

My pet sitter was knowledgeable, professional, caring, responsible, friendly with an easy going personality. My dog, foster, 9 yrs old, settled in with Sarah beautifully at my home. I was able to go out for an evening feeling comfortable that my pet was safe and well cared for. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a companion for our mother. Able to do some light housekeeping, prepare meals, and take her on errands. The people we interviewed were all phenomenal in their own way. It was a hard decision because they were all very experienced and kind. We did hire one and she is very lovely, I recommend this service and definitely would use it again.
Although our mother was doubtful at first, she is enjoying the company of this person.

Every time I try to use this app to book a sitter, it is frustrating- the app has so many bugs and never works properly. And you charge us so much extra money on top of the sitters fees - the app should function properly. I can't leave a stellar review of my nanny who deserves it. I had to delete my initial job posting and report in order to book a nanny. These are basic functionalities of the service.
I find the care.com app / service to be extremely frustrating but there are no other options out there when traveling. Please fix your app to meet basic needs. The sitters are amazing! The app needs massive improvement.

Hope took wonderful care of my Murphy. He is not used to staying with new people while I take vacation and he really took to Hope. He seems very happy and healthy when I retuned from vacation. Hope was very polite and respectful of my home and my belongings.
