The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
Do not waste your money.
This part does not fit any vehicle.
None of the bolt holes line up.The entire door handle mechanism moves freely side to side.
Even if you modify your tailgate by cutting and bending pieces which you should not have to do.
Then cross thread the bolts. It still will not work because the handle hits on the inside of the tailgate.
I was hoping that I could upload photos like you can on more honest websites.
I do not write bad reviews but I hope this helps others steer clear of this website.
Also if you do purchase this useless product with two day shipping it will take weeks to arrive.

I am currently in the process of trying to get basic information (shipping company) from the customer service line regarding my order and have been on and off hold for over 15 minutes (still counting). They provided me with a tracking number and link that go nowhere. They have me on hold again, inexplicably. Pretty certain that they are hoping I just hang-up and go away. I believe this organization to be borderline, if not outright, fraudulent. I will hold another minute before hanging-up and contacting my credit card company to cancel this order. That's it. Used another site to gain information on a part that would fit my nissan frontier vehicle radiator support, purchased direct from carid, its not a correct part as stated and mentioned to all i spoke to at carid about the issue, but its quite clear they don't follow up on changing the listing as mentioned or better yet, care! This one falls on the CEO to clean it up, listen to the buyers that need to send back wrong parts and wait for ever to be refunded, terrible run operation from my point of view. Call the manufacture to obtain the correct information, not this company, they have no clue, best part was its a month and still listed on the Big site online as a fit. Buyer beware

Easily the worst auto accessory company in the US. Ordered about $800 worth of tires and wheels which were delayed a full week. They didn't ship only until I called after about 10 days of waiting for tracking info. Don't bother leaving messages for your sales rep to return your call after you've paid them though - they simply don't care. When tires and wheels finally did arrive, they were missing installation kit so there's another week of waiting and multiple calls. You get what you pay for with this company. These folks are a joke.

Didn't know anything about this company, but needed some all weather mats for my Honda. After ordering, they inexplicably sent an email that they had misquoted the price and would be cancelling the order and refunding the payment. It is now more than two weeks, three emails and a complaint to PayPal and still have not received the refund. Each time I write them they say it will be an additional 3 to 5 business days for the refund. BEWARE!

I purchased $40 worth of wheel well linings (lightweight plastic). I was pretty excited that they had the liners to fit my Sequoia. I went through checkout and it showed FREE standard shipping - hooray!
But then my credit card statement came and they charged $220 for shipping. Tried to reach them to get it resolved, but can't get someone to talk to me - and based on the hundreds of dissatisfied reviews I see, I understand why. Now I'm stuck with the most extraordinarily high priced wheel well liners ever!

I understand your frustration but the shipping cost varies on the destination as well as the taxes. After adding the parts to the cart you put the shipping address, the system not just calculates the shipping cost and tax, it also checks the nearest location all the parts are available at (the closest so that warehouse to get the lowest shipping price, the availability of several items at one location to have the shipment combined for free). When the address is filled in, it shows the subtotals for the item, shipping, tax separately and the grand total. If the total does not work for you, the order is not processed, no fee is hidden, just close the page or get back to the cart.
Only if the grand total works you can proceed with the order and be redirected to the page where the payment information is required. Taking into account all the diversity of products, warehouses and final shipment locations across the whole US and world this is the most accurate way for us to provide the best competitive prices (of course, if you find the same part for less we match the prices for you).

I've been buying off of Carid for a few year now and they are number 1. Never had a problem with anything! Even when I had a question the customer support is amazing! Answering everything I threw at them. I tell everyone to check out carid if they ever need to buy something for their car. All my friends never had problems and only say good things as well. Highly recommended!
I bought a set of headlights for my Toyota Tacoma and looked at them closely as i was warned by a friend if the reflector inside the lens is not straight, it wont project the light correctly. When i got what was supposed to be a higher end headlight assembly, i noticed the quality was not that great and my installer told me that he has seen this before in aftermarket. They will not accept the return without a bunch of nonsense. They repeatedly ask you to " send a picture" of the defect when it does not easily show on the picture. The run around is beyond belief. They have NO U.S. based customer service. The toll free number goes to a bunch of well trained people who will not help. I felt really duped and will NEVER do biz with these people again. Its hard to see but the reflector in the middle of the light points up, not towards the road. Its flawed from the MFG.

Quite simply, I would state in the strongest terms possible to avoid any dealings with this organization.
Upon ordering parts from the website (year, make, model, and sub-model verified for fitment), I received parts that were not compatible for my vehicle. After numerous communications with their customer service and technical departments (who were polite, but ineffective), I was advised that I needed to explain to the manufacturer how the parts were incorrect (I'm not an engineer - if it's doesn't fit, it's the wrong part - what more do you need to know?).
I have requested a full refund, but have not received any further communication from the organization to date. Do yourself a favor, get your parts somewhere else.

This company is absolutely amazing!
I had accidentally removed an item from my order and didn't notice until after I paid. Shipping would've cost more if I simply created a new order, so I reached out. Customer service responded to my live chat immediately and offered me a discount and a gift certificate that MORE than made up for the lost cost in shipping. They were friendly and super helpful.
Even more, the prices are the lowest online (although shipping can make it a little more expensive), and they have more options than any other website I found!

Ordered some bulge type fenders for my truck.
Car ID said they where instock. Ordered them received a email days later stating they where out of stock. Order date 7/29/2017 new expected delivery date 10/11/2017 yes that's correct.
Called in and spoke to the most friendly woman ever. Called back on 9/18 /17 for a status update spoke with Monica and she was extremely rude.

Buyer's beware, do not purchase high dollar items from Carid. I ordered a bed cover for my 2021 Ram 3500. It was over $1500. 00 after unboxing, I had noticed damage to item. Contacted the manufacturer direct as instructed on paperwork. The manufacturer redirected me back to Carid since the purpose was through them. Carid was very unprofessional and said they could only offer me $100.00 to keep it. If I wanted another replacement, I would have to pay for another one. After filing a claim through PayPal, I won my case and reimbursed for the full amount. Carid lost a customer for life and no longer recommend this company. A complete joke of a company.

Be mindful of ordering a wheels and tires package from Carid as no one disclosed how long it would take for such a package to be shipped--more than 4 weeks! Meaning by the time it's delivered and finally on your car could be as long as 6 weeks! Even though I tried to cancel the order a short time later I was told that I could not cancel because the wheels had already been fabricated. I will never order anything like this again from Carid. Certainly if you want something done in a timely straightforward manner try to do it locally if at all possible.

Tried to buy a trailer hitch from this company. It advertised it for $107 with free shipping. Three days later, y receive an email stating that I owe an additional $27. I called the company and they said it was a pricing mistake and they could not send it Without the additional money. Not only did they wait 3 days to inform me of this but the price is still listed (and still be ordered on their website!) This company should be brought up on charges of false advertising. Poor customer service and company! And CARID, don't bother with your fake lip service you keep giving everyone on this site as I have not seen one review where you corrected the problem!

You would be better off making your own parts. They sent me the wrong headlights(cheaper BTW) when I called in, I was told that my part was not in stock. They shipped me a cheaper part without contacting me first and didn't refund any money. The other item I ordered was wrong as well, nothing like the picture. I could go on for days about how many times I called to fix this or how they messed up the return process as well. It's been over two weeks and still trying to return items! STAY AWAY from this company!

Bought two tires on 11/5. Got charged on 11/6 and an email with a tracking number saying they were shipped. It's 11/20 and still no tires. Talked to customer service 4 times now and they are rude and completely useless. Keep giving me the run around. As others have stated, don't expect to get your order shipped within any reasonable amount of time. I ordered a replacement antenna that was in stock per the website and 8 days later, there has been no update in shipping status and I have received no response to my inquiries. It doesn't appear that I am alone, and I can't figure out how a site with such customer "service" stays in business? Frustrated, I have cancelled the order via their site and found the OEM antenna cheaper from a junkyard. Who knows how long it will take to process my cancellation...
