“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

This company is a dumpster fire. Chatted with one of their "Product Specialists" to get a better idea of product features and he said all were as shown in the photo. Through more research, I found out what he said was a total lie before the product shipped. I tried cancelling the order before it shipped and, even after confirming the order was cancelled, it shipped anyway. To "make up for my inconvenience" of an extremely expensive and hard item to ship back they offered me a $15 gift certificate to buy from them again. Not a chance - you guys suck!

Update based on your message acting like you care:
1) Your site advertises it would ship within 24 hours but it didn't - more like 3-4 days

2) After I found out your rep might be lying, I contacted customer service immediately to get clarification. Your confirmation of receipt message even states that your reply takes up to 24 hours (which it did) so IF you actually did ship on time, are you saying that no one can email you about the issue and get it resolved?

3) If your answer is that I should've called, I did. I left a message that was after hours and no one ever got back to me.

When i thought i was forgoten Hannah was there to tell me my part was quikly being processed and ready to be shipped. She really cares how to comunicate with costumers and it gives you a piece of mind when parts are exchange at carid!

I'm still waiting on them to ship a product that was marked as in stock because... and I hope you are seated... they don't have it and they blame the manufacturer for the delay...

I've ordered tires and wheels and it's been 3 weeks and still nothing and can't get an answer from nobody or anything helpful. I recommend going to another site other then here. You're welcome.

I order some headlights for my car over two months ago n I still havent got them tha only thing they say they should do is refund me 21 dollars out of 500 dollars

This company is a scam. They run it like a cartel. They are quick to respond here on SiteJabber, but when you contact someone via email, you get no response. I've been waiting over a week for a response. They purposely delay you so that you go over the return times. I should have read the reviews before. This COMPANY WILL ROB YOU. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I had to hire a lawyer this morning. Costing me more than what they've already stolen. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! READ REVIEWS FIRST!

Even after writing a review and getting a response from Car ID with an email, they fail to respond. Why respond here if you aren't going to follow up? At this point my money is being held ransom. Unacceptable.

I have spent the better part of a month on this issue. I order 4 wheels, was told only two could be ordered, other two a couple weeks later. My wheels arrived. Ordered the other two a couple weeks ago. Now, I called after i ordered because there was no update. Was told that the only two remaining wheels, were damaged and they were "sourcing" them. Every time I call, I have to explain myself for 20 minutes and nothing is resolved. I have two wheels that I can't install, they have my money for the other two wheels, and all I get is the run around. AVOID THIS COMPANY! Buy somewhere else. It's a scam. Now I'm out $600+ dollars and no wheels. Every call is another ridiculous excuse, and they REFUSE to connect you with a supervisor or manager. BUY-SOMEWHERE ELSE! Report it to your credit card company, as fraud.

Very Happy with the service I received from Victor and CARiD. My 2nd order from them for my 2002 Avalanche 2500. He took his time, verified parts, checked prices ar other sites that I shared to give me the best price. Any time I need parts I will always check with CARiD.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST, FRAUDULENT AND LIAR. THEY ARE PLAYING WITH OUR MONEY AND WORTH TO BE INDICTED BY JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING, THEY DON'T SENT THE ITEMS, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEE ARE PUPPETS.

As several other reviews have mentioned, CARID has TERRIBLE customer service and due to their staffs lack of customs knowledge, I will be spending $100 more than originally suggested. Ashley Parham was my customer service representative and was not helpful and frustrating to deal with. As for the product itself I haven't received it yet so have no review on their merchandise but based solely on their customer service will not be placing any more orders through CARID and suggest anyone in Canada order elsewhere to avoid unforeseen fees.

I purchased a set of 4 Tires and Rims on July 01,2021. The it was estimated to have confirmation of shipment by July 05,2021, but when I called on July 8,2021, due to no email for status. Representative stated will be shipped by July 27,2021. The payment on my card will be due about the time I even see the tires/rims. I called in today Monday July 12,2021 to cancel order they stated I will not be able to cancel and that my tires & rims just arrived at their distribution center. I stated they have not been processed to ship to me yet, operator Samy stated I can not cancel and he stated I can not receive any refunds when the tires & rims arrived. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and Samy stated they told him it was nothing they could due at this time. This place is a RIP OFF. These are some of the policy they show on website. {It takes approximately two weeks to mount and balance your wheels and tires and ship them to you. More details on - https://www.carid.com/wheel-tire-packages.html}. I ordered on July 1,2021 and my wheel-tire package are suppose to arrive on July 27,2021, past two weeks. It states on their website that they are commented to making customers satisfied, but they do not honor the customer service code.

Tip for consumers:
If you are legitimate company and are customer service oriented, if we have not shipped out or prepare the order for shipping and a customer request a refund. I would do what ever I can to make them happy. This is not that case. Very disappointed now I have two more weeks to wait on my order.

Products used:
Right now I have to play the waiting game and see what happens. No tracking number, just a estimation delivery date July 27,2021.

I ordered head lights and bulbs Ultra bright and only received the head lights no bulbs which cost more then the headlights then the bulbs came in and was the wring bulbs now it seems I will never get what I paid for the people answering the phone do not help Do Not Use CarId.com for anything.

My first (and now only) experience with this company has been quite negative. I ordered a set of AVS in-channel wind visors for my 2015 Honda CIVIC sedan and they are quite obviously the wrong fit. I know I installed them with great care and exactly per instructions, yet Support Representative is trying to convince me that I did something wrong, which is infuriating. I'm not going to bother with a return process, that I know will just add to my negative stress with this company. I'll just figure out a way to remove crap they sent me and shop around for another company. But one thing is certain: I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CARID.COM AGAIN!

After ordering what should have been a complete brake kit I never received the "severe duty" pads that were listed in the description. After multiple stalled & unanswered phone calls I was finally told that according to the supplier "brake pads are not included" even though it is clearly stated in the description of the item. I still have not received the labels to send back the cores, another $100 item that they appear to be blowing off. Take it from someone with over 4 hrs. Of frustration w/ these clowns, DO NO BUSINESS WITH THESE CLOWNS!

I order some fuel injectors "in stock" on 10/13. But they change the shipping date to 11/15 because they are "out of stock". They gave me a $15 giftcard which is not bad, and they told me usually it will be shipped soon, 11/15 it's just an estimate. But nothing happened so far. It's so frustrating to wait forever. DON"T TRUST ANYTHING THAT MARKS AS "IN STOCK"!

I found items I desired on carid.com. Great graphics, easy navigation. I called just to ensure items would arrive in a timely manner as I would be travelling. Phone rep says, "Sure we have those in stock, ready to go from our warehouse tomorrow." After I placed the order I received numerous delay of shipment notifications because they do not stock the items they offer for sale. They are a middle man and not a good one at that. The items were ordered 5 July and arrived 28 July and 3 Aug respectively. Not acceptable for the lies and the logistics. One item did not fit. The No Hassles return is a joke. You are left holding the bag for exorbitant shipping fees for delivery and return! They make most if not all of their money on shipping fees. Run don't walk away from this NJ "company"!

Separately, the Buysafe Certificate did nothing when I opened a dispute. Worthless add on. Glad it was "free". You get what you pay for I suppose.

Update:
One month later, my dispute resolution through the Buysafe site did work. I must say I have to give CarID an additional star for working with me to resolve the issues. I did return items and was able to get return shipping paid. My original shipping was not refunded, but I am okay with that at this point. Sometimes buying online is very hard when it needs to fit properly. I am glad they made it easier to return my items, but the original policy clearly says they will not always do this. Would I buy from them again, I think the answer still has to be an emphatic "No".

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PRODUCT AND SERVICE OF ANY COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I SURE HOPE NO ONE ELSE GETS SUCKED INTO THEIR LIES AND WORTHLESS PRODUCTS. THE EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. The seat covers didn't fit, they refused to return the product. They refused to return my calls, they were extremely rude in their phone calls and emails. I am out over $500, and I want to help anyone else who may be considered purchasing from this company: DON'T DO IT! I would give them less than 1 star ratings if possible...

Update: today 14th/Nov is exactly 13days since i placed my order on carid.com, i was told by email that the order will ship on 11/11/19 but no tracking and no email from carid.com. The order basically said shipping in 8hrs if ordered now, could the 8hrs mean 8days or weeks or months? The annoying part is the $15 offered for the inconvenience caused, but is it a money issue or time issue?

I searched all over the internet for a vacuum pump and found carid, on their website they have a timer that counts down to the time left for orders to be shipped on the same day. I was excited and placed the order and been waiting for my tracking number for the past 48hrs and still nothing. Its annoying to be deceived into placing an order and get nothing.
I will cancel the order within the next 48hrs if not shipped. I called customer care and they were giving excuses. Stay away get parts elsewhere
Rubbish!

Update: 72hrs past with nothing shipped from carid just a mail offering to bribe me $15, i do not understand who runs a business this way.

I bought the Spyder taillights for my 06 Range Rover and never got a confirmation. After a few days I called and was informed they were out of stock, but they never called or emailed to tell me. They put me on backorder for 3 months. When the lights finally showed up, they seemed okay. After about 6 months, the clear plastic started to haze over on one of the taillights. I called to see about a replacement and was informed that the warranty was 90 days. I went on their site to write a review, but it would not allow me. I wrote to their customer service dept and they sent me a review form. I submitted the review but it never appeared on the item page. Apparently, they screen the reviews and only post the good ones.
