“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

The car floor mats I ordered from Lloyds Mats were sent by CARID.com I was out of town for a week and when I checked they were the wrong mats. I had trouble contacting Lloyds and finally found that I had to go to CARID. When I reached them it was one week too late for them to take back. When I complained they said if I cut them in half and send a picture the will credit me 45 dollars. I refuse to cut new perfectly good mats in half. But I will never do business with CARID or Lloyd Mats

I received a braking part it was leaking break fluid I got ahold of them I had to send pictures and other information I was told it's not leaking enough in there opening the customer service was horrible now I'm told it's going take at least 10 days to get refund if when they receive the parts back and ck if we're leaking I will never do business with this company again

Ordered window deflectors (in channel by AVS) for my 2017 Nissan Murano and once installed per instructions they don't work. All four windows contact (crunch) the deflectors. Called their customer service and they said "once installed when can take them back"... So,,, they sold a product that is unusable,, actually can damage you door/window once installed but they won't take them back. Such BS... DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE!

Tip for consumers:
Don't use them. If someone sells a product that must be installed ,, knowing that it won't work properly,, and won't refund the product "after installed",,, don't use that company.... They sell things that don't yet won't take them back.... Nope,,, not good... Plenty of other company's that stand behind their products!!!

I spoke to a manager who told me that I must of put the spacers on wrong, that's why they don't fit. After telling him "no, sir" he then told me "well, if they don't fit then they must be damaged since you drove on them." Again, no sir as one wheel went on, it didn't fit so it came right back off. After shooting down both of his "default" answers I was then told that their guarantee is to do everything they can do make them work, NOT take returns. So I am stuck with 3K worth of rims and tires that I cannot use and being told by management that they will not take them back. Again, if you are going to purchase rims/tires. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT buy from CARid.

Purchased Rims/Tires with the guaranteed fit. They came in and hit the brake caliper so obviously did not fit. I sent pictures as requested and asked for a return label. The answer was to send me spacers (which I do not want) and a tracking number was in my inbox. The spacers come in and... don't fit. I again reach out and ask for a return label and of course they ask for pictures. Pictures are sent and again, I ask for a return label. No response yet to my email but I called and asked for a return label and I was met with they will review the pictures and get back to me. As I stated, you guarantee a fit and these do not fit. I was met with attitude so I asked for a manager. Manager was busy so of course still no resolution. DO NOT BUY RIMS/TIRES FROM HERE. Save yourself and find a local rim store.

I ordered and received two items. CARiD's chat was really helpful to identify the right parts for my truck. The parts arrived on time and were packed with care. I'll use them again.

Tip for consumers:
When you checkout online, you will be given 3 choices about the part you are ordering: A regular part at the reg price, a premium part at 20%(?) more or a certified part at 40%(?) more. I ordered the premium part and it met my expectations.

I ordered a set of wheels and tires from them on 1/14. The expected ship date, was 2/14. I changed my mind about the wheels since my tech said they would be too big for the car, so on 2/20, I called to change my order. They said that since I ordered "Custom" wheels, I couldn't cancel the order. Claiming that the manufacturer has already begun to press the wheels. I highly doubt that, because how ITF are off the Shelf Asanti ABL-22 Alpha 5s - Custom? They have these wheels in stock all day at discount tire, so i know theyre not custom. So why is carID refusing to edit\cancel my order? BAD Business Practices.

Was first time dealing with CARID and I will never deal with them again. The product's I received were as advertised but the shipping experience is HORRIBLE. If you are Canadian 100% STAY AWAY FROM CARID they have the most expensive shipping ive ever seen just across the border and they cover ZERO brokerage fees/duties. For example $9.99 item from CARID is $25 shipping and $16 in extra duties for a license plate light bulb... ok... They separate each and every item on your order so you have to pay shipping for each item even separate light bulbs instead of just combing 2 bulbs into 1 box and paying 1 fee. Also they sent me a incorrect item and wanted to hold my actual order item hostage until I sent them their item back.

Bought 4 rims. They shipped me 3... told me to pound sand... had to file PP case to get money for the fourth rim back and buy it direct from manufacturer! This took 3 MONTHS! Never again! BEWARE!

STAY AWAY FROM CARID. They sent the wrong part, said they would refund my money, then gave me $8 of my $20. I called them on it and they asked for my VIN for my car, are you kidding me? I sent in pictures showing them the part is wrong, week later and still nothing. I will complain on every site I can find, stay away.

Listed a part on they're website that wasn't in stock…They sent me a replacement part that is 50 dollars cheaper and said it was an equal product…They did it twice…Each time I had to box it back up, print instructions and drop it off at UPS…Their goal is to wear you out and except a cheaper product…The transaction return time was 1 month for an air filter…Be careful…Horrible experience …Good Luck..

They uh, forgot to send one of two parts I ordered! Then I asked them not to send it, I couldn't wait for it... but they sent it! AND after another call, I finally got an RMA to return it. Or so I thought. It took a third call and another weeks' wait to actually get the RMA email to me. Their account of it shows the RMA started January 12th and I received the email on February 2nd. Now I have spent over an hour to get my money back for the part, minus shipping costs! They have refused at every turn, and I gave them opportunities to accommodate me with this. Although their representatives seem to be professional and courteous the actual results are very poor in this instance. {I am not very confident I will get my refund without further action on my part.}
Update: To their credit; I did get every last cent back from them, but it cost me another 20 minutes. All in all, quite a loss. I will never even consider using them again.

CAR ID has one of the worst customer service I've encountered. The keep repeating the same thing without finding way to resolve the issue. They love interrupting the customer. I highly recommend other distributers to shop such as turn14.com, enjuky.com, or vividracing.com. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON CAR ID. Now I have to spend $100+ in shipping costs to get a core deposit of $159 back.

Click on multiple links to find the real policy on core returns. Since on their first website page it does state that CAR ID will cover return shipping for core returns.

I ordered a replacement mirror for my 2007 GMC Envoy and used their part finder service. Their website said GM******* from REPLACE was an exact replacement for the original OE part *******. When the part was installed it did not operarte completely like the original because it only has 9 wires and the original has 11 wires. The manufacture will not take the part back because I connected it and Carid will only offer in store credit (why would I want store credit for another part that probably won't be correct). I think that if your website and your company are representing products that claim to be replacement parts you should stand behind them completely. I also talked to two of their "Tech Support" guys that both said they would research solutions and never heard back from either of them.

I had many issues with my order/experience. I ordered a set of bumpers and a spoiler for my Hyundai Genesis.

1. Took more than a month for my order to reach my house.

2. There was no mention that my order had for whatever reason, switched shipping companies mid transit. Had to call a company I've never heard of to see why my order was stuck at a UPS facility.

3. All of the parts came in different days. The shipping price was out of this world expensive. It should cost a lot of money, but not literally thousands of dollars.

4. My spoiler and bumpers were not ready for paint and assembly as advertised, my spoiler actually had no assembly components and is not useable.

5. The bumpers had been damaged, but not until we started working on sanding them down and priming them did we notice these defects. There were a multitude of under the surface defects.

1/5 Please don't order from these guys. You don't want to spend about 5000$ trying to get bumpers on your car that you thought would only be 3000$. You can find a lot of the same parts on other websites.

I purchased a replacement side view mirror (just the glass and backing plate) for my 13 subaru forester from CARID. The new part mounts to three points in the mirror housing. The generic directions said to press firmly but gently to install... Well, after half an hour only two of the three points would lock in. One last push and the mirror breaks but still doesn't lock in! The company refuses to replace this. After talking to two employees and a manager I was told that these break all the time during installation and that it does not qualify for a warranty claim. They did offer me a $15 gift card towards the purchase of another. I declined. CARID will not get my patronage in the future.

I have a Jeep Wrangler that I have put close to $8000 in over the past five years. From time to time I have had stupid issues like this happened with other companies, they always bend over backwards (Quadratec.com especially) to resolve the problem. Guess CARID doesn't care about the longevity of their customer relationships.

This was my first time ordering from them, I stopped before I paid, and went to ask a question section which was easy to find, and my live chat I was teamed up with Laura, one word " Amazing " I am a technician and have been for many years but was at home and on my phone ordering not really able to flip back and forth to check Part # s and Laura asked my year, make and model and she did all that for me, I gave her the numbers I was looking at, she confirmed them and even made me a check out link to make my checkout 100 times faster and easier, I will be ordering from them again real soon, and I highly recommend them to anyone. Very fast very friendly. I hope if I can't get Laura again the next person is just as fast, kind, courteous, and spot on as her.

I seldom if ever write reviews but felt an obligation to warn others. Truth be told i would have given 1 star but always felt no one ever reads the one star ratings as they suspect it's just another angry/uptight consumer wanting to vent. This is not the case with me. I haven't even received my order yet so i can only speak for the order process. I placed my order on the 3rd, got an ship date of the 4th, then the 5th, then the 6th, then the 7th - so I called to see what the deal was. A really nice lady "Wendy" sounded very concerned when i explained what happened she put me on hold for a few minutes then came back apologized again, told me she spoke to the manufacturer and assured me my order was going out that day and that i should expect an email with tracking # in 20 minutes or so. I logged in today to check the status because I hadn't received my tracking # email as promised and today it says ship date of the 11th? IT seems every new day is the new ship date?

Ordered a set of 4 Speakers July 8th, Was charged for 4 and received only 2 they said they would ship me a new set a week and a half again and have set me a tracking number but spakers have not actually been given to UPS. I have my car install set up for Tuesday. I've called multiple times and send several e-mails and no one knows whats going on. At this point I want my money refunded as well as 50% of the shipping and customs (since I was charged to ship both sets and charged customs on the value of both sets). Unless they resolve this issue by Tuesday this will be the last time I use CARId.com... Really bad experience.

CARID Reps if you read this and actually want to do something for once my order # is *******... My next stop is the BBB.
