“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Found the same product online the day after I placed my order with CARiD, called to get their price match, they refused saying when they looked at the link I sent them, the competing online vendor, Amazon, showed zero stock. I was told this while I was on looking at the Amazon link I sent them showing qty 2 in stock. Because CARiD refused to honor their own written price price match policy, I returned my CARiD order. I was still charged shipping both ways even though the return was because of their failure to honor their own price match policy. I will never use this company again..

My first order from this company I ordered a car cover, in stock on April 28 and here we are on May 29 I have no cover and am fighting to get my refund. I am told UPS lost the package but I do not care nor believe them as I am still awaiting my refund.

I spoke by phone to The manufacturer for the item i purchased, who agreed, after looking at photos, that the item i purchased was defective and said that a refund would be issued... through CARiD. I have tried numerous time to get CARiD to give me my refund and all i keep getting is "we will have this matter settled within 48 hours" IT HAS BEEN 30 DAYS! STILL NO REFUND FROM CARiD. STAY AWAY, FAR, FAR AWAY

I made a purchase last week on 6-04-2015 for an air filter. Customer service representative told me yesterday that it has been processed and shipped out of the warehouse. They also indicated to me that i will get an email with my tracking information within 24 hours. 24 hours has gone by and I did not received any emails about my product. I went to the website to check on my order and it stated that the estimated time of this delivery was August 31. Customer service sucks and are nothing but liars. When I purchase this order it stated that it was in stock. After speaking to the customer service representative about my purchase she tells me its in back order. DO NOT purchase from this company... THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU will be notified about how poorly their service is. I HAVE CANCELLED MY ORDER. THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME I WILL GET AN EMAIL WITH MY CANCELLATION INFORMATION WITHIN 24 HOURS. AN A SECOND EMAIL WITH MY TOTAL REFUND WITH IN THE NEXT 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS.

Found the best price for our STAINLESS STEEL BOAT PROP at Carid.com. Spoke to Kristy via live chat on Tuesday and within just a few minutes, had a link with the military discount sent to my email for a quick and easy purchase. Today is only Thursday, and I received an email stating our prop will be deliver to our home tomorrow! Quick service, awesome customer service from Kristy, best price, and fast delivery! You can't beat that!

They told me they would send the return label, box of clamps we paid $258.00 was still sitting on my desk since 3/5/18. UPDATE: Contacted Stainless Works and the great team there took it back. Lousy Carid I bought Stainless steel headers and exhaust system from them. They send us only the clamps and the wrong size at that. After sending me the clamps then they lie to me and say that Stainless Works does not have a description. That meant they are saying it is canceled. UPDATE: Stainless Works just sent us our 304 stainless Steel headers and complete exhaust system. And not only that it's mirror polished. Great team at Stainless Works I even told them about CARID and they wern't to happy about that. I'm sure most of you who dealt with CARID didn't know about sitejabber, we didn't. If we had known about sitejabber I would have never dealt with CARID. Tell everyone about CARID and sitejabber because people need to know.

We have already sent the return paperwork to you via regular mail and will resend it one more time until it is delivered by the postal service. We have checked the required installation information several times for you. We understand that you should not face with all these issues, but we did try to help you. Due to all this inconveniences, the full refund will be issued to your account. And we still hope you will change your mind and give us a chance to show we can do better.

OK, so they screwed up and sent 2 1/2 inch clamps for a three inch exhaust system that cost $2610. 69. I have not received the return labels We where promised. The unopened box still sits on my desk. I was over that and just was waiting one month for them to ship our headers and exhaust system. After waiting over a month, I just received an e-mail that says- We have checked out the issue with the manufacturer. Unfortunately the Manufacturer doesn't have a schematic or project available showing the required modifications. What the hell does that mean? I checked with Stainless Works and they have the same thing that we ordered. I don't know whats wrong with the dummies at Carid. They always say sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. After waiting one month and only then being told something that is not true. I have no patience and or understanding with Carid. Wish I had known about there tactics and sorry $#*! customer support in the Philippines that doesn't know a thing about cars, trucks or parts. Just hope they send back our money soon so we can purchase direct from Stainless Works. Don't take a chance with Carid, and I will keep you posted as to what happens.

Bought some headlights for my Toyota Tundra and checked multiple times that they would fit. Got one headlight after the first one and when I went to install they both didn't fit. Called to return them and they said they couldn't help me cause one headlight was past the 30 day policy. When I told them they had sent me the wrong part (healdights without headlight washer) they told me my VIN saysys my truck has headlight washers, my truck never had or has headlight washers and they still won't return it. F***k these people save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

DONT DEAL WITH THESE IDIOTS

I purchase a front bumper and a spoiler for $573.70 I cancel my order the next day before it even ships... I've still been waiting on my return for my money and it's been two weeks already and I haven't gotten back any of my money on an ordered I cancelled the next day before it even shipped... they tell me my refund was already issued and my banker Chase tells me they see no refund at all so now Im trying to dispute the charge which can take an additional 2 weeks... i know they are using our money to do more business when it should be returned asap especially if the item never shipped! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY and READ REVIEWS ABOUT A SITE BEFORE U START ORDERING AND INVESTING HARD EARNED MONEY!

Placed my order Order Date: 01/17/2014

The part was 48.00usd the ie package to be shipped invoice was for 170.00 ==>ups wanted 72.00 more
Sent the order back due to the cost over run. Tracking the package back to source and then asked and paid for the package to be reshipped uspo 12.00 more for shipping. They reshipped the package ups. And now ups says it not safe for the driver to bring the package to my door. More phone calls and emails than you would believe still no package, I will never deal with these fools again.
Good luck to you if you dare deal with this company.

CARiD is a great website to buy wheels on. When I called CARiD I spoke with Kelvin about ordering wheels for my car. Kelvin was excellent to work with and was able to help me find the specific wheels I was looking for. I would recommend CARiD to anyone that's looking to buy aftermarket parts for their car.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered a product and waited 2 weeks to receive it and it WAS BOT EVEN CLOSE. Wrong color, wrong size, no help from customer service, had to send VIN and item # and wait 24 hours to see if they can correct THIER PROBLEM... WHAT!?

Purchased a set of Black Horse running boards for my 2012 Honda Pilot from Carid.com. Before purchasing I called Carid.com to verify the quality of fit. They confirmed no modifications were required for either the running boards or the car to mount them. They were delivered in a timely fashion.

Once received however, they required all six mounting brackets to be shortened 3/16" just to get the boards to fit. Additionally, the bolts were the cheapest of the cheap. Several stripped and two broke. I do not tend to break or strip bolts. The kit also provided threaded inserts for two points on the bottom of the car that were too small. So I had to purchase all new bolts and threaded inserts to mount the brackets. Once on the car, the running boards are too narrow to really be of any use. You cannot use them getting out of the car safely.

I called Carid to convey this experience, in response offered a discount for another purchase which I said was not acceptable. They finally offered $40 back on the $440 part. I mentioned I thought about 50% would be appropriate for the poor quality and all the extra work the kit required. The "customer service" person then just disappeared on the end of the line.

I'll never use CarID.com again.

The WORST customer service. Went with company after they advertised free shipping. Saw they offered Military discount so I called and was verified and approved. Didn't realize until later that they gave me the discount but took away free shipping. Wasn't much more so I didn't make a deal of it. Ordered tail lights. It rained a week after install and they filled with water. Contacted Car ID to see if I could get money back and return items. Would not do a refund. Not their policy. They will only replace with same (defective) product. Will only send replacements after they send me return label, send back old lights, and then review my account. More than a week later and still no return label. Call and they are still "processing" label. Called again and demanded refund. They finally agreed, but will only issue refund after they receive old tail lights. Still "processing" return label. Return label "should be done in another 24 to 48 hours". The same label I have been waiting on for more than a week. It states on website main page "Easy Returns". That's a joke.

I order a part for my Chrysler 300 on July 17th 2020 They said it' will be ship out on July 29. I called them on August 5 then gave me some bull$#*! excuse about i had to wait 3 days so they can send a request to there people to see where my part was this went on about 10 days so I In up canceling my order Plus they want to charge me a restocking fee for a part a never left their warehouse

I am STILL waiting for CariD to refund my money. They received my return, UPS tracking shows they received it. I have spent HOURS on the phone, four different times, and assured each time that my refund was being processed. It has been a month now since I first requested it. DO NOT BUY FROM CARID!

Don't let the fancy website fool you. I ordered a seat cover online 07/29, received order confirmation. Few days later, shipping notice said it would ship on 08/20, almost a month later. Nothing special about this product, so they did not have in their inventory, or the company they are representing did not. Then on 08/21 received notice that it was delayed to 08/31, with no explanation of why. On 08/31 did not receive shipping notice, and called. I called and went through prompt to get to status of my order, the hold time was 29 minutes. I then called from another line and went through the prompts to get to placing an order, and someone answered in 2 minutes. I asked what the status of the order was and was told it would ship tomorrow and a notification should be sent out. Fine. The next day 09/01 I checked for an email, nothing came in and so I was fed up and called again. This time I called to cancel the order, again 20+ minute wait time. So again from another phone, I called to go through the prompts for placing an order and got right through. Spoke to someone who entered a "Cancellation Request" for my order, and then I received an email confirmation for the request. Fine. I then check my email the next day, and GUESS WHAT? All of sudden the order ships! This is a front for a company that basically buys and sells things, however they hold your money to collect interest on it. Would not recommend or buy from this company. There are plenty of other places to get automotive parts and accessories.
