“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

It was the worth experience that I had in all of my life when I wanted to order; their agent(carid) told me maximum it takes 6 days including the weekend to receive your part, then they extended after 6 days to 9, and in the weekend of 9th days, they had not any excuse to answer my question, the part did not post, and finally, I cancelled the part, Including this weekend I lost 11 days and I paid 50$/Daily for rent a car, and they did it for me!
I prefer to do not buy anything from them.

Bought Spyder brand headlights for a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee--CARiD priced them at discounted total of $114 and change, delivered to CO. I asked the saleswoman specifically, "Do they include all bulbs?" YES, she said, and both that fact, and the brand "Spyder" was expressed in the order confirmation email they sent. So my package arrived, in a box logoed as "AKKON". That brand is the cheapest Amazon offering, at $88 a pair, including all bulbs and free shipping. My set omitted four main bulbs (2 x 9005; and 2 x 9006). I called CARiD, and got a lot of runaround, including emailed request for photos, VIN #, etc. I have provided all of that; really feel ripped off! No adjustment yet, and to make things worse, I fully installed these, mooching the old bulbs from the worn out lamps--before discovering that the AKKON logo printed on the shipping box is in fact the cheapest headlight in any known market.

BEWARE of this company PLEASE!!!!!! just because the prices seem good does not make the company a well meaning company or their products. CHEAP PRODUCTS, BAD, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Spend a little more elsewhere and get quality products!

I spent $1800 on a wheel and tire package and the fitment was off and these clowns wont return them. Even though they've never been used. DO NOT BUY WHEELS AND TIRES OFF THESE PEOPLE! They will rob you of your hard earned money if your fitment is off.

Wasted $400+ ordering with them and they wouldn't give me a refund because they lost my package with a 3rd party distributor snd refused a refund. The 3rd party distributor didn't even deliver my package and CarID wouldn't refund me my money

This company is a complete scam. I ordered several parts for my vehicle through their customer service representative "Axle" with my year make model and VIN # for my vehicle and was sent the wrong parts. I tried for weeks to contact Carid to return these parts and could never get through by phone I even had a seperate company that I had financed parts through "Affirm" who tried to contact this company several times as well and was unable to do so. The only option on their online site was to exchange the part which I did not need because I was lied to in the first place and they don't even carry the parts! Now I'm sitting here with $268.00 in parts for some random vehicle that I will never be able to use and they are still brand new in the box. I STRONGLY CAUTION ANYONE AGAINST USING THIS COMPANY!

I ordered several items and each item I ordered I had problems with either them being shipped to the wrong address, back ordered or completely wrong parts. I try returning these items for weeks never being able to get through to anyone and now they tell me the items are out of their return period. This is by far the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with and I will be taking them to court. I have looked online and have saw a ton of bad reviews on this company and a lot in the same situation as me. I have heard nothing but excuses from all the customer service agents.

I bought a tire and wheel package from this place in June of 2020. The website wouldn't let me check out without buying the TPMS for the tires so I added them to my cart. I didn't get the tires and wheels for about a month and had called them in that time. I was told that the wheels were being made and to be patient, as soon as they got them, they would ship them to me. When I finally received them, I went to get the TPMS programmed to my car and they don't work. I have gone to 5 different places and they still aren't programmed so I called CARid again today, only to set on hold for 30 plus minutes, and they told me there was nothing they could do for me with documentation. The tire shops didn't charge me because they couldn't get them programmed. My suggestion to anyone wanting to buy a tire and wheel package is to go to your local tire shop and get them there because this place sucks.

I ordered a bumper from Carid over a month ago and the company they shipped it through R&L Transport failed to deliver it to me 4 times. I called and scheduled an appointment four times and they never showed. Well R&L told Carid that I never scheduled an appointment and now Carid won't give me a refund. This is just a scam all the way around. You won't receive your parts and you will lose your money. DO NOT BUY FROM CARID

Just go somewhere else. They won’t give you your parts and will just keep your money

UNHAPPY CUSTOMER
My order was sent to the wrong state and address. Called carid and have been put on hold for 40 minutes at a time. No help. Say they will call me back, thats not happening, blaming UPS for the mistake, but found out talking to UPS that UPS makes shipping lables, not address lables.UPS delivered it to the address they were directed to. Good thing I had tracking # Bad service, bad customer support. Readers you figure this one out. BUYERS BE WARE!

WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE CARID WEBSITE AND GO TO CAR COVERS IT ASKS FOR YOUR MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF VEHICLE. DON'T BE MISLED BY THESE QUESTIONS! THEY WILL NOT SEND YOU A SPECIFIC COVER MADE FOR YOUR CAR, THEY WILL SEND YOU A GENERIC ONE FOR TWICE THE PRICE THAN YOU CAN PURCHASE FROM ANY AUTO SUPPLY STORE. THEY MISLEAD YOU, OVERCHARGE YOU AND THEN SIMPLY SAY THEY DID NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WOULD RECEIVE A CUSTOM COVER FOR YOUR CAR, THEY SIMPLY ASKED WHAT TYPE OF CAR YOU HAD SO THAT THEY COULD SEND YOU A LARGE OR SMALL GENERIC COVER. LEGAL, BUT HARDLY ETHICAL. RUN AWAY VERY FAST FROM THIS WEBSITE AND THIS SUPPLIER.

I recently wrote a poor review on CarID (see bellow). I would like to retract and honor the outstanding response from the customer service team. They contacted me and listened to my concerns and solve the problem. I for sure will give them a second chance and purchase from them again.

OLD REVIEW (NO LONGER THINK THIS)
Should have the option of no starts on this review. Today is saturday morning; placed order yesterday online when they were closed. The item I order was a bedliner and the shipping cost was twice the cost of the item. Call today saturday to cancel and they refused to cancel since it is an oversize item and it would get shipped. I was given the so option to call monday to try to stop the shipment. If it gets shipped, I would have to pay twice of the item $212 to ship it back. They do not keep what they promise online. The worst place to buy. Will never buy here again even if I have to pay double somewhere else.

During the cancellation we get the confirmation from the warehouse first, to make sure our clients receive correct information. Do you want us to promise something, that did not happen? And naturally, the manufacturer is closed on weekends, therefore, there is no possibility to get into their system to cancel the order on time. For our clients' convenience, there is an online form, which you can fill in in you need any alterations in your order, including the cancellation.

CanceledLooked into purchasing their CoverKing Seat covers. At the point of purchase had some questions about the return policy and was helped by a LIVE chat specialist named John Pulmones. He was dismissive from the beginning, sending me a copy of the return policy and then asked to end the Chat before I could even read it. Then when I asked clarifying questions he began to talk down to me.
He let me know that if my seat covers didn't fit then I still couldn't return them because, per policy, you cant try them on the car to see if they fit or they are non refundable at that point.
I of course canceled my order and will be looking else where for my future seat covers. I would avoid this company if I were you. Very shady!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! PLEASE! I BEG YOU!
I bought a aem cold air intake for my truck in March, product came damaged and faulty (I have a twin turbo so there are two intake pipes and one was longer than the other, the other had damage, and the bracket for the heat shield didn't line up) so I try to return it and they say I have to make a claim to return it. (This is after trying to simply return it via UPS but they denied me, so now we are into the May). So I agree to them to open the stupid claim and I send it back. They didn't give me a mailing slip so I got my own ($30 more bucks outta my pocket)
Now they say since I used my own mailing slip they dropped the claim. Another $400 wasted for no reason. I'm still trying to get my money back and it's almost August... Any suggestions?!

I purchased brakes for my truck from Carid. I had talked to there "product specialist" twice to make sure I was purchasing the correct brakes. They were for 5 lug trucks only
Which I specifically asked if they were for 6 lug wheels which I had. The entire customer experience from this point gets worse. I requested a return which took them 11 business days to prepare. When the original estimate was 3-5 days for them to prepare this. Then they claimed I had received 4 packages which I had not. I tried emailing which was useless. They would respond every 24-48 Hours with no help and it was always a different person. I finally called which I should've done right away and after 40 minutes of being on the phone and me sending screenshots of the 3 tracking numbers showing only three packages were delivered I felt I had to convince them to give me a refund for the full amount. They received my brakes back to there warehouse august 27. I "should" get my refund by September 8th only 2 months after I made the purchase. The frustrating part is I get the return process takes some time but I had to push or even do their job for them in order for me to get my $800+ returned. I have purchased many aftermarket parts for vehicles but never from carid. I would not recommend them to anyone and will never be using them in the future.

Unfortunately, I not only considered it but I bought things twice, (BIG MISTAKE) if I do it again I'll cancel myself. This is apparently some guy in his basement with a laptop who forwards your order to an actual business. 1st order wasn't complete, 2nd order was wrong parts, poor/nonexistent customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Rather than CARID, I refer to the (business?) as CARDON'T

Products used:
Tires & wheels. (lock nuts, and one spacer missing)
Dash kit ordered. Received the wrong kit. still awaiting refund decision, 3 weeks.

They have the worst customer service. Ordered some taillights and emailed back and forth for 2 days because apparently the sku# on the website is not accurate. Finally get a customer service lady to find the parts and put them in a cart for me. Ok get them. Couple days later put them on, one of the seals is broken. Call customer service for replacement. Am told that I need to 1: give them my vin#. Ummmm no. You don't need that in any way. 2: I need to order a new set and pay for them and then return these for a refund. Ummmmm no again. Why would I pay for a second set when you have yet to give me a working set. Their response is well we will have to wait for the manufacture to approve that the seal is broken. Again no. After 45 minutes of none sense I am just sending them back for a refund.
