“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

All parts are high quality. Service is good. If a mistake happens, it's taken care of quickly. Csrlos had me on the phone was very fast solved my issue and was very pleasant to talk to.

I wouldn't refer this site to anybody. I ordered a complete floor pan on February 6 and canceled it on February 8. I still received a confirmation, that it was still being shipped on the 11. I spoke to multiple people about canceling this order but they lied and said it had been shipped out on the 9. HOW? Now they are telling me, I must accept the floor pan and destroy it, than send them a picture, to get my money back. All because they don't want to pay for return shipping. So basically they messed up the order, on their end. Now they are holding my $400 hostage. When I told them I wasn't going to accept the package when it was delivered. The guy tries get aggressive with me. He said I'm out of luck about my money. This is the worst costumer service I have ever had. The Guy Said cut it with a knife to destroy it, for that comment he deserved to be fired. This is unacceptable business practice, and for that I will not spend another dime with this company or refer it to anyone.

I ordered a set of side skirts from CariD that supposedly fit my car. However, the skirts reached nowhere near the factory mounting tabs or anywhere that I could drill to make another mounting tab, resulting in a skirt that could only be held on by duct tape (lol!).

I took the skirt to multiple shops in an attempt to have them install them, but they confirmed that not only did the skirts not reach a point that could suffice as a mounting point, the material was so crappy that it would look AWFUL (think doing it yourself in the garage with a blindfold and parkinsons). The quality of the product was not only garbage, but it didn't fit even if I wanted to slap this crap on my car.

Their returns department consists of outsourced support, meaning non-native English speakers so you can't understand a word that they're saying so you have to resort to email. However, you might as well give up because they ask for 5 million pictures for proof and give you the same bull anyway. They use their very general disclaimer that parts are "considered to be "raw" and always requires minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installing", a crutch that allows them to get away with selling overpriced garbage to people just looking for car parts.

Overall, this company should not be purchased from and if you do, good luck getting a return or even a part worth the dumpster. Throwing their garbage resold garbage away would be an insult to the dumpster.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use it unless you have a fetish for getting scammed.

Purchased and installed Lumen brand LED headlights. Running light and turn signal wires had to be repaired straight out of packaging. Okay, things happen despite their claim to test these products before sending. Finally get to use headlights at night, lowbeams are so dim and point way off the side of the road and can only be adjusted up and down. High beams fixed in place and point directly on ground in front of vehicle. Cant see anything! Made Carid aware of these issues for possible resolutions as opposed to having to send them back. They asked for videos, sent them. Received a message that I can send them back for a refund, swap out for another set, or exchange for different product. I decided I was sending them back for refund. Four times, FOUR, I have asked for a return address, they will not give it. Six different customer service reps have emailed all saying different things about returning or try this and that when in my original email I said I've tried this and that, then they request more pictures! This has been ongoing for a couple weeks now. Terrible and dangerous product and horrendous customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I wish 0 stars was an option.

Sent me the wrong parts twice. I was told on the reshipment that it would take 3 days, but it took 9. Kind of hard to drive without brakes. I finally had to personally go to the manufacturer direct to find out that their parts will not fit the car, at all, something you think CARiD's technical advisors could figure out. The return process has been on-going for over 2 weeks, now. I cannot get a refund until I return the parts, but CARiD has to issue the mailing labels. No surprise, "it will take 24-48 hrs", but actually took 10 days and they only sent labels for a portion of the parts needed returning. I spent 1 hour and 47 minutes on the phone with a "supervisor", which means the next rep in line, because they give you a runaround on talking to a supervisor. Oddly enough, with enough threats on legal action I was able to get shipping labels generated and emailed to me while on the call. Only the 4th time dealing with their customer service. Now, let's see if they'll actually refund my money once I return. Thanks for holding onto my money for over a month, CARiD! Hopefully, you were able to invest it well.

ASKED WHEN I ORDERED ABOUT SHIPPING AND IF WHEELS WERE TO SHOW UP DAMAGED HOW WOULD THAT BE HANDLED I WAS ASSURED OF GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THAT THE WHEELS WERE PACKAGED SO WELL THAT THEY WOULD NOT SHOW UP DAMAGED. LOW AND BEHOLD, ONE WHEEL SHOWS UP DAMAGED AND I GET STUCK WITH IT. AFTER HAVING TO ARGUE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REQUESTING TO GET HALF PRICE(WHICH I THINK IS MORE THAN REASONABLE) ON THAT DAMAGED WHEEL I WAS FINALLY TOLD I COULD BE COMPENSATED $80. THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... I WAS ABOUT TO ORDER ANOTHER $1000 WORTH OF ACCESSORIES FROM THEM BUT NEVER AGAIN.

After searching for a certain car rack, I found these folks. Knowing that a particular piece was very scarce, I spoke to a CariD rep (Estevan). Not believing his routine assurances about availability, I pressed him on the issue. After putting the call on hold, he then advised me that one part would ship in a week with everything else would ship in 24 hours. I placed the order.

You know what happened.

A couple of days after the assured ship date, I called. This rep was actually quite good (Fren) unfortunately he was trying to clean up a mess. Nothing had shipped and they were waiting on the unobtainable part - but it was promised in a week's time. Once bitten and all that, I again insisted on getting a verification from the supplier and the call ended with the rep telling me that a status update would follow in:
A) 24 hours
B) 48 hours
C) 72 hours
D) all of the above

It was d. Displeasure expressed.

In real life, the rep called back within an hour. They did not yet have any update.

I cancelled the order. Still waiting on confirmation info.

Stay away from CARiD. Live a happier life.

I purchased an item on line, on a Friday night, never seeing the shipping rate until I was at the pay part of the deal. Just when I hit the buy it button i see the freight rate. The item was $141, the shipping was $164! It's not an excessive package, not heavy either. So immediately I try and cancel the order. It won't take my request. First thing Saturday morning I call in, the rep is very pleasant, puts in my cancel request. 4 days I see it still says pending. I get an online chat going, as I'm on with the rep, I get notified that a package has arrived at home. I explain that I tried to cancel a soon as I place the order, they say there's nothing they can do, it's already shipped. They say I can return it for a full refund including my shipping. I say I wanted the part I just felt there shipping was really out of line. So I ask if maybe they cut me a break on shipping and I'll keep the item. They say no, they would rather, themselves, pay for freight both ways and lose the sale then help me out with the shipping. Wow, ok, so I'm thinking, fine I'll send it back, but now I'm reading all these bad reviews and thinking maybe I should just cut my losses and take this a a lesson learned. I realize this is my fault, I really need to get all the info before I hit the purchase button. But this feels a little deceitful on their end, so much for the cancellation policy.

I understand your frustration but the shipping cost varies on the destination as well as the taxes. After adding the parts to the cart you put the shipping address. When the address is filled in, it shows the subtotals for the item, shipping, tax separately and the grand total. If the total does not work for you, the order is not processed, no fee is hidden, just close the page or get back to the cart. Only if the grand total works you can proceed with the order and be redirected to the page where the payment information is required.

As for the cancellation process, when the estimated shipping date is set on the same day, or the next one - we cannot guarantee that the cancellation request will go through right away, as it is a two-step process and the order should be canceled on manufacturer's end as well.

Ordered a new motorcraft alternator for 261.00. Exsact and confirmed application. They sent completely wrong unit. Wrong regulator plug and possitive terminal also both in wrong positions. I sent back within 15 min to ups return per Carid. They tried taking 30.00 for restocking and shipping fee as being my mistake? I contacted my charge card company after failed attempte through Carid and filed a complaint. Now i get an appology and they are setting up a full refund return after 8 e-mails and them telling me they wanted the 30.00. Wells Fargo is getting every dime back to me. FOR CARIDS mistake not mine!

Horrible company purchase 4 rims. Got 3 good rims and 1 damaged rim. Called and explained the issue they acted like no problem we will come get the damaged one and ull have a new one mid week next week! Great this was a surprise for my husbands birthday I can still make it work w that lead time. Next week comes and goes old rim is still sitting here. After spending hours on hold trying to get an answer I'm told it's ups s fault. Instead of the company calling guess I'm the lucky one to spend more time on hold for ups ups comes next day a Friday here comes Tuesday... no word from
Car id - I call my replacement rim will be sent out without him 24-48 hours ok Husbands birthday is passed I can still make this work for Father's Day. It's now Thursday - I have to call again for update - carid can no longer get the rim. Again no call or email without me spending hours sitting on there hold line. These people are horrible customer service and the company in general it's every one else's fault but theirs. Mine, the shipping company and no they bank. If ur smart u will scroll right past this sh*** company they have been nothing but a stress headache and there people do nothing but lie to get u off the phone. Waste of time and money and now stuck w 3 rims and not the 4th! I wish I could rate them 0 stars but unfortunately they don't have this option

Ordered a set of wheels from them at the end of May... May 29th to be exact. I've recurved an email shortly after that it was processed. Wheels said they work be here no later than 3 weeks but my shipping date keeps changing now it says July 24th & August 7th... I've heard this website to be a scam but never believed it but if I lose $2800 worth of wheels they won't scam anyone else. I need answers... why are my wheels taking so long? I don't wanna hear any stories about backorder because that should be stated on the site somewhere if it was to be back ordered which it wasn't... then to top all that off I ordered lugs that said would be here June 5th & no sign of them yet... what should I do? Order #******* & #*******

This was the worst customer experience I've ever had in my life. This company stole over $500 from me and refused to give me any insight as to when I'd be getting my product. I originally ordered front and rear Rixxu Milano seat covers on November 25. I knew ordering this at the end of November was risky if it was to be received by Christmas. The expected shipping date was "Dec. 15", this changed over 13 times. Not a joke. From Dec 15, to Dec 18, to Dec 21, to Dec 28, to January 21, to January 15, to January 25 etc. Every time I had to call customer service which was awful. They had no idea where the product was, and would tell me to be patient. They have no knowledge of where their products are and refuse to provide any more info. They won't even let you speak to management. After fighting to get my $500 back, they fought it and said the front row seats items were already shipped? Total lie. Had to call my bank and file a fraudulent claim against CARID. Please do your research before buying anything from this company. I was one of the unfortunate customers who had a very negative experience.

I did 50% of the work - all the follow through after Jerry took my money. He simply couldn't be bothered to do 1/2 his job - customer service. Car Id sent my rims in three separate orders which took 3 more weeks than Jerry told me it would. SO AVOID CAR ID AT ALL COSTS

I recently about a month and two weeks ago or so bought some beautiful Lumen Headlights through this company which is their brand and product. Got them in absolutely loved them, but could not install them at the time because I didn't have the time or tools. However it was mainly because I wanted to be sure I could find matching taillights before returning them because the return policy says they have to be in new condition. So finally found the tail lights installed the headlights for the most part everything went smoothly. However after trying to set the beams I realized that the beams themselves were completely out of whack. In my photos you can see where the driver side high beam sits compared to where it should be and how the low beam sits at a slant. I wanted nothing more than a replacement for the unfixable DEFECTIVE one. They offered me a $25 gift certificate for $400 lights. I guess quality and service does not go with price. This company will help you all you can, but as soon as they get their money they give up on you. Do yourself a favor and order the same product on Amazon for better customer service. Also after I told them there was nothing I could do and that it was defective and I just didn't realize till I put them on they stopped replying. I thought this was a reputable company.
