“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

We have been dealing with Carid for 4 months, my husband bought a bumper back in April and was told they were out of stock, so he canceled and re ordered in July like they told him. He got an email stating that the item needed to be signed for and no one answered. A call or tracking was never given. He paid $347 and they charged for the shipping so he only got back $100. Then the next line of the email they say out of stock. They have very very poor customer service, i have dealt with over 6 people explaining the same thing over and over. BIG TIME SCAM ARTIST. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Im the owner of a 05 tj and was looking for a bumper. Found one at CARiD and was the same price as other website but CARiD was offering a special with all poison spyder bumpers. Added to my cart and was going to pay but was confused when didnt see the permotion in my cart. So I left it alone and didnt pay. I got a phone call and a email from CARiD asking why I didnt follow through with my purchase and a phone number to call and talk to a person not a computer. So I called back asking about shipping and the permotioal they where running. They walked me through shipping and was able to get a discount on my bumper and the special they were offering. Shipping was 3-5 day to where I live. I came home 2 days later and there it was at my door step. To sum it up great customer service, fast shipping, wondering company to buy from and product are amazing. Thanks again CARiD

I installed tail lights left one worked. Right one didn't. After comparing both taillights I noticed right tail light was wired differently from left and wires was cut and taped up. I WAS SENT A REFURBISHED LIGHT! Unfortunately you don't know your sent a non working taillight without installing them. Car ID has a VERY FRAUDULENT POLICY. HEADS UP FOLKS. Once you install item your $#*! out of luck if its defective. $575 for taillights that don't work... STAY FAR AWAY FROM CARID. Your welcome folks.

I ordered a set of headlights from CarID 2 weeks ago but this item is not getting shipped until 31May. I placed the order late March. Instead of placing an order online, I took the initiative to call to ensure the item I'm about to purchase is in stock. The representative is really adamant about selling the product he kept asking me to place the order. I asked this representative if this item is in stock and he told me they had 72 in the warehouse. I received an email today and was notified the item is not in stock and will have to wait 31May. I totally wasted my time with CarID. Biggest mistake to order stuff from this website. They have a call center that reads a script and will apologize every two seconds. Instead of apologizing fix the issue. When you ask for the manager apparently he's busy assisting some other customer. When I asked for a refund the rep told me it will take about 2 to 3 weeks to give you a refund. This site will promise you anything to get you to purchase but will not fulfill your order.

Tip for consumers:
Call and ask the rep over and over to ensure item is in stock.

Products used:
Waiting 2 months for the item. Will eventually cancel order and take the loss.

Ordered a part that came in damaged for $380 and the best they could do was give me a $25 credit with no exchange or repairs. This was after I had to take it to a body shop for an estimate to repair and was quoted $170 to repair. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

A few weeks ago, I purchased a bike mount for my car. No sooner after I purchased the parts, I received 2 emails. The first email stating the confirmation number of my purchase. The second email, which I thought was a red flag, was from a sales representative saying I still needed to complete the order. I disregarded that email and went about my day. The next day I got the tracking information from UPS. This is where it gets even more odd. The shipment was being returned to sender? I called CarID and had to listen to that ridiculous on hold machine. After 30 minutes on hold, I finally got someone who said his name was Sal... but by his terrible fake American accent, we can all guess his name wasnt Sal and he wasnt from America. He tried to contact the manufacturer to figure out why my package was being returned to sender. After another 10 minutes, he finally got back on and said he had no idea why that happened and continued to confirm my shipment would be delivered. At this point, I was convinced this was a scam and decided to read reviews online about CarID. After reading the terrible reviews, I called CarID to demand a refund of my purchase, no matter where my shipment was. They said they will no doubt refund my money, but have to submit a request? This morning, I have still yet to receive my refund and on top of that, my credit card was hacked for $800 on Honk Kong Airways. I had to shut down my credit card and will most likely not get my money back. I am convinced it is CarID.

Purchased 8 fuel injectors for our 1987 Firebird Trans Am. Got them no problem. Installed them and had problems with the car running rough. Had a certified mechanic look at it when we couldn't figure out the problem and it was determined to be a defective fuel injector. Contacting carid.com by phone and was told that it would take 5 days to review. That was November 5,2020. Called again on November 12th and 19th to be told the same thing again and again. Called again on November 27th and was finally told they would charge the credit card for 1 fuel injector and ship it out the following monday and to return defective part and would get a refund. Called on December 1st and still nothing has been done. Have had to contact the credit card company to try and help us and will be reporting this company to the bbb.

From what i see, the request to proceed with the replacement was submitted on 11/27. Normal turnaround time is 1-3 business days. On 11/30 we were asked to proceed with a refund instead of replacement which caused a slight delay.

No one can help u they take forever to ship your order i just buy a set of rims and one of them the paint is bad and that toll me they can't do anything the guaranty won't cover that that bull $#*!

I ordered custom rims for my audi 2013 s-line prestige Q7. I placed an order in November of last year and was told i could posssibly receive them in late December at latest early January which was expected their custom. A few days later I spoke with one of the reps about a confusing email I received from them which he explained and then I asked again for an eta on my rims and he hit me with January 18, maybe a couple of days later. So at this point I'm thinking what's a couple of week more, hopefully not much later. I checked my email for a notification that my rims were on their way and saw nothing so I called them to ask and spoke with Justin a rude rep for carid, he gave me an eta of almost a month more. He didn't care didn't try and help and sounded like he didn't give a $#*!. Will never purchase anything else from them, I feel like they're incompetent and lack the drive for customer satisfaction. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE TO ANYONE!

My 2000 Honda Odyssey started to leak coolant out of the top of my original overflow tank recently whenever I would shut the engine off. The original cap had developed a crack, so I bought a new one from my local Honda dealer. That did not solve the problem. The leaking continued. Honda wanted around $65 for a new Tank. Ugh!

I searched online & found a great one on CARiD.com, which came in at about one third of the cost of the Honda one, even including shipping. It also arrived earlier than the estimated arrival date.

The new tank fit perfectly into the slot where the old one had been & I happily noticed that the cap was much heavier duty than the original one. So, after installing it easily, I emptied the coolant from the old tank directly into the radiator to top it off & then added enough antifreeze & water to bring the tank up to the bottom minimum line.

I am more than happy to report that I now have a closed loop coolant system again with no leaks or overflow problems! Hooray! It even came with a limited lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. So, I would highly recommend trying this "REPLACE" Brand engine coolant recovery tank from CARiD.com.

While the customer service reps are very polite and friendly when you call, the customer service overall is awful. I was sent an incorrect product. The box had one product number and the item had a different product number. I brought this to their attention and they offered me a full refund (including shipping costs and without a return fee). I was happy with this resolution until CARiD customer service emailed me back saying that they were not offering me a full refund because the manufacturer said that was the correct part. I sent them photo evidence that that wasn't the case. See below photos. I ordered a 200 model and was sent a 202 model (which they also sell). The model I received didn't match the photo on CARiD's website nor did it match the product number displayed. I then called the manufacturer myself and they confirmed the 200 and the 202 are different products. They refuse to offer me a full refund and refuse to take responsibility for their website misrepresenting the product. My advice… DO NOT USE CARiD! It's a third party site that has a horrible return policy and customer service. Go straight to the manufacturer and cut out the middle man. It will be easier to resolve any issues you might encounter.

*UPDATE: I was eventually able to return this item for a full refund, but only after posting this review.*

From what I see, the manufacturer confirmed that the part received is what was ordered and it is the right item for your 2007 Subaru WRX. From the photos you attached, it is clearly seen that the part number of the stem is X-PSP-BDY-202, not the PSP-BDY-202 you found on the website. And the part number of the License Plate Relocate Kit itself is PSP-BDY-200. Still. If you are not satisfied with the product purchased we are ready to assist and provide the documents to return the product back for a refund.

This company sucks, I ordered seat covers and was told they would be shipping 10 days after I ordered them, that was not the case. It's took 45 days for me to receive the covers, which came in 2 separate packages on 2 different days. I opened the first box only to discover that the driver side cover and the arm rest were damaged. So I called Carid and they asked me to email pics of the damaged merchandise so that's what I did. They assured me that the matter would be resolved, AND THEN THEY CANCELED MY CLAIM JUST LIKE THAT. I'm over this company!

I was going to order some automotive parts from CARiD but it seems they just order the parts from another supplier and play middle man, (if you get wrong or damaged parts) they then push you off to the supplier THEY purchased YOUR parts from after they get there cut of your money, and shipping lets not go to FedEx smart post shipments, they keep saying "your label is damaged and will be help up for the next 3-7 days in Ellenwood, Ga.") how long does it take to get a label made? 2 minutes tops. But back to CARiD wake up AMERICA, look at (1 Corporate Drive Windsor, NJ) why, if that is where the call center is?, is the picture blurred for the call centers location, because it's just an address the real call center is probably in the middle of North Africa, that is where a lot of the scam calling is done from, remember when you went to the auto parts store and bought what you needed or at least ordered it from, go back to doing just that and you will be more satisfied

The absolute WORSE online seller I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH EVER! CarID sent the wrong Part, it happens. I was happy to send back THEIR mistake I'm not HAPPY about their failure to issue me a $180 refund for their MISTAKE. RUN from this SITE with your pockets ZIPPED. Ordered a part that was shown on website. NOT EVEN CLOSE to what we got. Called since they sent us 2 of the item and charged our cc for 2. Have called for 2 weeks to get return label and said they sent to us. NEVER DID! When called them numerous times they always told us what we wanted to hear and then NEVER did what they said they were
Going to do. You will be on hold for hours, never get a straight answer, they will lie over and over and if you do business with CARID. You will be sorry. I GUARANTEE IT! Don't do it! Going to also write to BBB, FBI and file a complaint with the attorney general. This company should be shut down!
