“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Sensors arrived but I have know idea if salesman or customer service sent them. So all is not lost. Still have to pay for installation but it's better than not getting them.

Find an alternative. Their Mistakes, your fault.

I had placed an order on some custom rims. Spent a large amount, they did not install tpms sensors. So i notified them, After a week of waiting, I asked where are they. Salesman, said he will look into it.(knowing full well they were not going to send them.) Now they want me to pay for the sensors that should of been installed in the first place and now I have to pay for the installation from a third party. Salesman just says what sounds good to shut me up. What tire and rim shop does not install tpms on equipped cars. WHAT A MISTAKE. Watch out for their online prices, after making a purchase they change and will ask you to pay the higher difference. Cheap Valve stems on custom built rims.

Total SCAM. They offer a price, and then shipping. After sending payment, they tell you that there are additional costs for shipping. When you question it, they just ignore your emails and you have lost your money. FLUSHING YOUR MONEY DOWN THE TOILET WILL BE MORE FUN THAN SENDING IT TO THESE GUYS

If I could give them 0 stars I would- what a total joke- Customer service is obviously run out of a foreign country, ordered an important part needed for sure last thursday for a saturday paint job- paid 1dditional $90.00 for OVERNIGHT shipping- never got it, ready for this- the OVERNIGHT part only starts AFTER they locate the part, box it up, and get it ready for shipping! I just got the part today, now they tell me it takes 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS to generate a return label, ground, once they receive the parts, and inspect, then 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS to generate the refund! Total absolute joke..

STAY AWAY!

CarID sent the wrong part. Though they refunded for the wrong parts, I was forced to pay for shipping. They not only wasted my time, they would not refund the $36.80 they still owe for their mistake.

I bought an alternator for my 92 Ford Ranger 5.0 V6. After I ordered the part, I received the invoice which stated that the alternator was for 92 Ford Ranger and showed that it fit three different engine sizes. Obviously there is a problem with their software.

They probably sent the information to the shipper who, instead of checking with me on the actual size of my engine and the part I needed, just shipped the most popular size. That screwed the shipper and screwed me.

I sent email after email to CarID for them to refund the $36.80. Each time, they told me to go F*** myself.

I then disputed the charge on my card. Then CarID fought it charging me again for the $36.80. Now I have to spend more time sending pictures to my credit cards company.

There are legitimate places to get your auto parts. STAY AWAY from CarID.

PostScript: I went to Auto Zone to buy the alternator I needed since I had already waited a week and a half for the wrong part, it turned out it was exactly the same price I spent at CarID, including the shipping. I would have saved nothing by getting the right part form CarID. Instead, I wasted an additional $35 and hours of my time.

Tip for consumers:
Find another supplier for your auto parts.

You don't save money. Plus, when they mess up, you pay.

Customer service from ebay purchases. Needs to learn more about there items. I had to call because the ebay contact people could not answers my questions. I had to call. I was on THE PHONE FOR A HOUR before I got someone. When I finally talk to someone they where able to answer my QUESTIONS.

This company is a Rip Off and they do so by charging your card one lump sum of money and the RECHARGING for individual parts and this is where they sneak and not deduct all of the correct fees from that lump sum of money. The also over charge you for shipping! I was told that I would pay one set amount for shipping but when the final amounts charged, they OVER CHARGED for shipping and refuses to give me my money back! Why are they still in business?

Restoring 1950 Chevy Truck and need a set of rear fenders. Made a call to CARID and got EDDIE. Told him what I was looking for and without hesitation he gave me the SKU #'s and the quoted price and said it would save me money to ship to a business rather than a resident and with that I will mor than likely order my parts from CARID/EDDIE... Thanks EDDIE

I've ordered items in the past & the Representatives have spoken with aren't the best but this time Lisa was not like the others she knew what I was talking about and she gave me a discount on the item I wanted so not bad will definitely order again from CARiD.

Should've have done a search and review on this company first before ordering from them. The online order was easy enough and they did have the lowest price. But here is the problem. The total that was showing was $51 plus $6 for shipping. I then received an email receipt for $123 after submitting, charging me an unauthorized $66 for shipping. I used their paypal option to pay and there was no page that told me my total cost, till I receive the email. I immediately called Carid.com to cancel and explain why I cancelled. The customer service lady said ok and cancelled the order. She said I will receive an email for the cancellation and in 3 days my refund. Needless to say they went ahead and processed the order and ship the items the next day. I called them back and they told me that because the item is already shipped, I will not get my shipping charge of $73 back and will have to call them again when the item is received to get an RMA for a refund. The kind customer service person pretty much told me that I'm s**t out of luck and should just keep it. I did receive the item but am weary about returning it for a refund, because there seem to be plenty of people here that has not receive a refund for their purchases. Stay away from this company. From all the other reviews it seems they are just a drop shipper, middle man company and have nothing in stock. They will make it as hard as possible for you to get your money back. Buy from amazon, they had the same item for $3 more and with free shipping. Will not be a repeat customer.

At first I ordered 4 rims and tires that were supposed to be shipped to a location so they could mount and balance them. They ended up somehow just shipping the tires to the auto store it was going to without the rims so they couldn't be mounted and balanced by them and then they had to send the rims separate. After that (my fault) one of the rims got a little damaged from a curb so I ordered a new one on a Wednesday morning and paid for overnight shipping. It's now Monday and the rims won't even get in until maybe Tuesday so almost a full week. I told them I wanted my over night shipping money back and they said no but wanted to offer me a 25 dollar gift card. ARE YOU KIDDiNG? You think I'm ever going to use their site again. I'm literally going to every site possible to give them 1 stars. The guy charged me for overnight (Kelvin) but didn't put it in the system or the notes. I emailed Kevin the "specialist that was assigned to me and haven't heard back in 48 hours. Terrible company with terrible customer service.

I knew about CarID years ago, But until now that I decided to give it a try, men i wish I have done it a long time ago, they have a friendly to navigate website with loots of parts for my car, I bought a muffler and a resonator pipe, it was shipped next day and delivered 2 days later, for a very competitive price.

Bought an ABS module for my work truck the first mechanic went out a bought a very expensive programmer as he could not program it then the truck went to Chevy where after two visits they removed the defective CarID unit and replaced it with a chevy rebuilt unit. CarID will not refund the money even though the unit they want to return has nothing to do with the one they shipped my and they sent it to the wrong address in another state I had called to correct the address before I return the old unit. Lost money lost time buyer beware CarID is a bad place to do business go elsewhere. I do not need a second unit so doing business with these g=eeopel wasted time and 4X $$

Please read my experience carefully to see the quality of service you should expect from this company.

- I usually write positive feedback for most sellers I do business with, but unfortunately this company should be reported for fraudulent activity.
- After ordering a part through their eBay store, 3 times throughout the week they told me my item would be shipped the next day.
- After waiting a week to have my item shipped, the company said they no longer had my item in stock and cancelled my order without my consent.
- Interestingly enough, they had just relisted the same item on their page for more money. The original cost that I paid was $134.57 but they now increased the price to $245.05.
- I told CariD that I did not want a refund, I just wanted the item I purchased delivered.
- The company lied in saying that the item was out of stock and simply did not want to ship it to me at a lower cost.
- Each time I reached out to the company by email or phone, no representative was informed with what was happening in my case and I was forced to re-explain everything each time.
- They gave me a $25 gift certificate to make up for the inconvenience but it did not work on their website. Upon contacting them about this, they said it was working, when in reality it does not work.
- Any company that values a customer would have honored the price I purchased the part for and sent it out.
- CariD values bottom line profit more than the customer experience.

CARiD is a awesome company with very courteous associates,, I was buying some headlights for my truck and a sales associate Grazelle helped me even though they was having technical difficulties at the time she helped me though it even though it took awhile and was happy to do it And I really appreciate her for that, That A1 customer service in my book,, And far as there products they sale top notch car parts and me accessories,, CARiD is my go to company,, Awesome company so if you needing car parts i defiantly recommend CARiD hands down,, thanks CARiD God Bless!

I ordered car mats for my new acadia from this company. The order was placed based on the pictures on their web site. They arrived and lo and behold they were not the mats pictured. I sent them an email, they said I had to pay for return shipping.
This is the typical bait and switch. The idiots had the gall to offer me a $15 gift certificate in lieu of the shipping (LIKE I WOULD EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN)
BEWARE WHEN ORDERING FROM THESE CROOKS!

My experience with CARiD.com and the manufacture I bought my product was one of the worst I have ever had. They waited days before they told me they could not even complete my order. Waiting for my refund.
Totally Ridiculous. DO NOT USE STAY AWAY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

I have bought many things even on Ebay and have never been this disappointed...

I cannot even give this sorry excuse for a busines even one star. I ordered a product that stated it was in stock and was told that I would receive a confirmation email which I didn't receive until I called them three times. They immediately charged me for the item only to find out that it was not in stock and it would be several weeks before it would be shipped. I called a week after this shipping date and was told that it would now not be shipped for a couple of more weeks. I asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund and was told that it would take 3-5 business days for me to receive a refund. That's BS and we all know if something can be charged in the same day that a refund can also be given in one day. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I am glad that I had found car ID. I have 5 different vehicles that I work on regularly. Most recently I am working on a 1993 Ford F150 and I am delighted that they carry many motorcraft parts! I have nearly $******* invested so far in this project truck with car ID. It is a wonderful place for quality parts and they have quality professionals Manning the phones I highly Recommend Car ID!

Well if you value you're time and money i wouldn't waste it here! The first time years ago i ordered a shift nob with a specific threading! Received something not even close to what i needed! Now here in October i ordered a lowering kit! I even called in advance to make sure they actually had the parts! I was told they had the whole kit! So 580.0 dollars and two weeks later I received half of the order! For another month i wasted my time calling and being told i would receive information on this! I was never given information and every call i was told they had to wait on a response from the manufacturer! The manufacturing company doesn't make this part anymore and thats why i called! My time and money has been wasted! And its almost been a month since i was told i would receive a return label! Save yourself the time! Also if you look at the shipping label its a full suspension kit it should weigh over 100 pounds obviously the label say 8 pounds because they only gave me springs! The proofs in the pudding dont waste youre time or money i learned the hard way!

Tip for consumers:
Dont use it! If youre looking for custom parts go somewhere you know isnt going to waste youre time!

None i couldnt use them without the other part of the kit!

I'm on hold with the company now and if I could I would wallpaper the internet with just how awful my experience with this company has been! The worst customer service I have ever dealt with and even though I cancelled my order which was never processed since I waited two weeks for parts I OVERNIGHTED AND PAID FOR the box shows up on my door step damaged! And now I am being told they are going wait for the parts to get me a full refund even though I NOW have waited two days just for a return label to be EMAILED TO ME! It's an email not snail mail

Ordered wheel and tire combo august 4th and its august 31st and no sign of shipping, upon first call 2 weeks ago, i was told that they had shipped, 3 days later i was told that they were waiting on one tire, I had planned on spending 5-6 k more on my car through them, as of now im seriously rethinking that route, unless something changes I would not recommend CARID

I purchased a fan relay from this company and they sent the wrong part. They are maintaining that they sent the correct part and I'm wrong. I'm beginning to wonder if this company is a scam. They overcharge for shipping and they will refund part of your money, in my case, $17.00 out of $49.97. Unless you want to have a virtual nightmare trying to deal with this company, don't use them!
