“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

They lie about delivery dates. You pay for next day delivery and they don't ship.
The people on the phone don't care.
This is my first and last time with this company

Don't trust the delivery time they give on website.

2nd review...

After 5 days of the only communication being that they are "sorry I don't have my order and they still have no idea where it is" I cancel the order, I then get a cancellation confirmation from (*******@carid.com) and to be safe I disputed the charge with Amex.

Next I get another email from Alison Rhodes telling me the item could have shipped but as they cannot get in contact with the manufacturer they still have no clue if my order was ever made or shipped?

I call the number she left and get two different people who are still clueless, but the last rep started to hassle me and told me I would only get a "Store Credit" and I wouldn't even get that unless I closed my dispute with Amex. I immediately called Amex and notified them of this extortion and was told not to worry and not to close the claim as Amex would protect me.

This is turning into a nightmare!

1st review...

I spent over $1,700.00 with these clowns and when I went to see where my order was, the tracking function provided no information, so I got on Chat with them and they had no clue where my shipment was and blamed the manufacturer telling me it would take 1 - 4 days to get a response. If I had understood that this is just a boiler room sales force I never would have ordered from them.

I Called carid to purchase carbon fiber ground effects for my vehicle and was informed by the representative that the parts will fit my vehicle (one part being universal- I agreed and completed the purchase on the phone with the representative then began to look at the part fitment numbers and discovered that the part will not fit my vehicle (even the universal part), 15 minutes later I called back and requested to cancel the entire order since I no longer trusted the knowledge or motive of said representative- I called the following day to ensure the orders were cancelled and they assured me that they would. I was told that they cancelled one of the orders and were working on cancelling the other- 4 or 5 days later I received the universal piece, I opened the package, saw what it was and repacked it, requested a return label and sent it back to carid- after about 8 days of no information I contacted carid and they informed me that the item was returned damaged and that there was nothing they could do regarding the return of my 251.00 dollars, amazing lol. I am currently preparing to litigate their bold and questionable actions after discussing the matter with a carid supervisor called leah who appeared to take pleasure in assuring me that my 251.00 dollars were forfeited and there was nothing they could do.

I talked to so many different reps and been told that it is been taken care of it but it is been over 2 weeks and I still get nothing. Worst company ever I will go to different business than this.

2 months of trying to order a dash cover from these guys. First over the phone, then confirmed in chat that guy never placed the order after 1 hour of selecting product. Second call took about 2 hours with very helpful, knowledgeable sales guy who waved $5 of total $10 to order samples. Then the flurry of Shipment Delayed emails came. I complained in email and was giving a $10 gift certificate. Second set of samples still has not arrived. Placed 3rd call and was told Sales had closed even though doesn't show on site, so the ordering department had NO idea how to apply my gift card when I decided to go with ordering from the sample I received rather than keep waiting for the one that never arrived. I vented to the ordering department and demanded a call the following morning from someone who do place my order. No surprise---NO call back today. So, I went directly to the CoverCraft to order. It took 15 minutes over the phone, and email confirmations arrived while I was still on the phone. The sales person gave me FREE shipping due to all the problems I had, and their price with tax was lower than CarID's. 2 MONTHS--but NO Delivery. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Sales guy also promised me I would receive everything in less than 1 week. LIES! Had I placed the full order, I doubt that I would have ever received it.

I spent $2,000.00 on a new set of rims and tires (mounted and balanced by CARiD with new TPMS sensors) for my 2013 GMC Yukon. Had the tires put on at my local dealership and they attempted to program the TPMS sensors several times and were unsuccessful. I called customer service twice and spoke with Jorge Calvo on both occasions. After he spoke with a technician he informed me that the sensors were defective. He stated that CARiD could either send me 4 new sensors to replace the defective ones and that they allow $90.00 for labor. Well first of all why would I even attempt to have the replacement TPMS sensors that CARiD wanted to send me installed, the ones they installed for my original order were defective. Spoke with the dealership I have my vehicle serviced at and was told that they could provide a customer loyalty discount. All in it would cost me $345.00, $60.00 (typically $84.95) per OEM sensor and that they would do it for the labor rate allowed by CARiD. My refund from CARiD is going to be $90.00 for labor and $157.44 (after I return the defective sensors) for a toal of $247.44. So I'm out of pocket $92.36 which is ridiculous. The issue was with CARiD installing defective TPMS sensors, not my fault. Stay away and buy local is the all I can do in the future. I'll never give CARiD another cent of my hard earned money.
Just a side note I asked Jorge on several occasions to speak with a supervisor and he refused to allow me to. Awful customer service. Still waiting for my refund. "STAY AWAY FROM CARiD"

I bought a 60" tailgate light bar from them. I got it and it worked fine. Then one day I noticed it was no longer working. The cheap little crappy piece of plastic that holds the fuse came open at some point and the fuse popped out. This is not their fault as they are not the manufacturer.

HOWEVER, I delt with them so I messaged them. I simply told them what happened and that I just need to know what size of fuse was in there so I can go to a local store and buy one. Anyone that knows anything about electrical knows you can do damage to the product or even your vehicle if you put the wrong fuse in.

The reply to me was "The manufacturer of the product tells us the fuse can not be replaced, you will need to purchase a new product". PARDON? Yes ANY fuse can be replaced, and why would I spend 100.00 to buy a new light when I can spend 2.00 (or less) and buy just the fuse?

I replied back and said I was not asking for a freebie or even for them to send me one. I just needed to know what fuse to put back in it and then I would do it myself. They replied again with "I am sorry, but the fuse can not be replaced in this product".

Well if it can not be replaced WHY then does the cheap little white holder open? And if you are going to sell parts you should know what you are selling. I asked for a manager to reply to me, someone who knows what they are talking about and I got a third message telling me that the fuse can not be replaced and to have a good day.

I will NEVER use them again.

THESE GUYS ARE GARBAGE. It was my first time using them. I placed at $1500 dollar order and I never received my items. I had to keep on checking on the status of my item and NOT 1 PERSON knew where It was. Turns out it was never shipped after they promised it to be shipped on the 24th of JULY. Stay away from this SCAM!

On 9/22/2018 I ordered a wheel and tire package the expected delivery was pushed back to 10/17/2018. I finally received the tires and wheels on 10/22/2018 after calling every week for updates on when I was supposed to receive my items and no one having any information for me a month later I received three out of four wheels. One wheel was lost by UPS mysteriously and another was damaged. It was such a difficult process just to get information on when they was supposed to get UPS to pick up the damaged tire and every customer service rep can never provide me with a time line on when I will receive my merchandise. Every time I speak with customer service and request to speak to a supervisor there is never anyone available but after reading some of these reviews I see that this is a common practice. It is now 11/9/2018 and I have only two tires now over a month after I made my initial order and they got their money but I don't have my tires. This is definitely the worst experience and I think that I'm going to just request a full refund because I have a feeling that they are going to screw the two wheels and tires that I'm waiting for up mind you they didn't even send the center caps for the wheels that I received. Also they have a Better Business Bureau accreditation emblem on their website but yet I can't even find their business name in the search. To top it all off all they offer me is $50 off of my purchase for my inconvenience what a smack in the face.

Overall my experience at CARiD.com has been wonderful. Compared to other online car part retailers or in-stores at places even like advance auto parts or pep boys, I've ALWAYS found that CARiD beat the competitors in pricing. Just to top it off, the very large display of all the possible parts whether it be for looks of your car, maintenance, or replacement engine parts; CARiD has it all and everything you by is very nicely detailed and descriptive, along with most items having a warranty and possibility to return if it's faulty - I've never even ran into that issue! Every item I've ordered has met the description and been in very nice condition and quality. Another thing people are wary about is online shipping because they want their item right away; however, each time I've ordered from the website the estimated shipping has always been just a few days away from the time of purchase - and to make things better I've ALWAYS received my item the day before or even earlier than that of the estimated shipping date! In conclusion of this long review, I would recommend CARiD.com to anyone looking to work or have work done on their car for a very cheap price and quality parts. It can't get any better than this.

Ordered polished fuel rails for 2016 Camaro ss they sent me brushed... brushed was not an option and not mentioned anywhere in the ad it was polished I even checked the ad after I discovered they were brushed after permanently installing them on fuel rail covers and removing protective film.the ad said polished no where mentioned brush not even under option there was only one. Polished... contacted customer service email. A day later they come back and said the ad said brushed and tried to blame me... I went back to the ad and they changed it but funny thing the could not change my original order that says polished... I called the company to get ahold of someone in management to complain about the idiot that lied to me and I was blocked by the receptionist and would not put me thru to management... never never do business with this company it has gone down hill since it was sold off last year. I have made our corvette club aware of my experience with them... over 100 members... they will never do business with them again either...

Do not buy from CARID they do not answer and have no one to talk to. I call numerous times and was left on hold for minutes I had to call my bank to cancel transaction. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! YOU WILL BE SORRY!
