“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Poor product did not fit, refused refund and then agreed to partial. Then they never sent refund. Poor service, poor product, poor company, Beware. Thank You.

I got a hood from them and the primer is all messed up and glue all over the hood where the hood vent is called them and they never called me back I will never buy anything from them again

I paid for, and have been waiting for tail lights for 2 months now. I called and they will send them to me if i pay again. And will not give me my money back. Just aweful. I want my money back.

Ordered 6 gauge set. Fuel gauge didnt work. Tried to get a replacement for the fuel gauge only and that didnt happen. No customer service at all! Delay delay is this companys game plan.

The website stated the part was in stock so I ordered. After the order, I get an email that the order is on back order. DO NOT state in stock when it is not in stock!

Purchased a set of lights for my truck. Price was great and installation went well but after driving in a rainstorm the front lights started to condensate and leak. Called customer support right away and was told that was normal, what bs is that how many new headlights have you seen that leak, none. I sent them picks as requested along with picks of several small scratches that were on the inside of the lense. They did respond quickly suggesting I pay for another set, they would send them out and upon the day they received them they would refund me. Again bs policy other companies I've delta with for car parts have never given me a hard time about returns. The last conversation I had with tech support was epic, I was told most aftermarket lights tend to leak and I should run a bead of silicone caulk around the seams of the lenses to fix the problem. So you so me a faulty part and I have to fix it thanks. I know the have no control over the quality of the parts they receive from China but they sell them so they should stand behind them. Will never recommend or purchase from them again.

I ordered a clutch and only ordered because the sales person who I had on the phone looked up the part to make sure it was in stock and able to ship it from a close location (new York) the location was close to new jersey and I would have it a day or two. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I ORDERED WITH THEM... After not receiving the part any tracking info or receipt from an e-mail, as promised. I called to find out they shipped it out of a California warehouse and it will not be scheduled to be delivered for over a week. (hopefully) They could not have picked a further location to ship from... WTF...

Order Number #*******. Total lies from Customer service. Website clearly shows they issue a return shipping label for core returns. They do not. They lie and stall and blame it on the manufacturer. Claimed I would get my return label in 3 days. It's been 10 days. I ordered a complete set of brakes (Rotors, pads, calipers). In turn they order them from PowerStop and ship to me. I called twice in 10 days and waited on hold forever with CarID.com. They said they were waiting for PowerStop to issue an RMA number. I called PowerStop. They chuckled and said good luck getting a return shipment label from CarID because they do not issue RMA's for core returns. They only issue RMA's for exchanges or regular refund returns.
CarID is only a drop shipper. They stock nothing. You order from them, they order from the manufacturer.
CarID... do not bother copying and pasting your standard B. S. reply to this complaint about how sorry you are that your customer service didn't help and to email you my order info. You won't do a thing to correct the problem correctly by issuing a return shipping label and you know it.

Terrible company and I will never order from them again.

I orders a headlamp full assembly and paid $780.00 (I won't go in to why it cost so much) They invoiced me and told me it was a remanufactured prt which I buy remanufactured because sometimes they are better than OEM. When I received the part my repair shop told me it was a used part and had rust on screws, clips and other components of the assembly. Knowing the reputation CARDiD I called them and figured they would adjust the cost to a used part which was about 2-$300 less than remanufactured. When they told me they could only offer me $75.00 credit and that was it I went balistic. This is a case of FRAUD period. I had to put the part in becaue I received a ticket and could not send it back but "BUYER BEWARE". If they did it me they will do it again to someone else.

They also offered me a $25.00 certificate on my next order and I told them to keep it because I will never buy a part again from thhem.

On Sept 23rd I ordered some custom seat covers for my car. Was told they would be in my hands in 10-14 days. Days came and went so I called them... they have not shipped yet I was told. Waited another week and called again... this time they have no idea where the seat covers are. A few days later I called again and was told by a supervisor that the company that makes the seat covers is out of the fabric I specified? Really? No one called me... I would have chosen a different fabric! I am told that I will have them within the week as they are almost done. Wait another week still no shipping information. Called again this time to cancel the entire order... they said they would and then I get shipping data. Called them yet again and they asked if I would accept the order IF they gave me a 45.00 discount. I finally gave in and then mailed the darn covers. A week later they arrive and then I find out the discount was only on a future order! Who in their right mind would order a second time after this mess! Mostly I am irked because they accepted my order cancellation due to extended delay of product and took the "cancel" back!

It's all a hoax. They try and boost their rating and sales and completely ignore their customer service. Avoid CarId at costs. Poor quality, poor customer service, poor everything.

I placed and order and they were supposed to ship it with in a week max, 4 week laters they shipped it and when i finally got it my order was incomplete i called them back and they told me to wait 4 more days before they coukd get an answer from the privider, called them back 6 days later and they told me that my parts were back ordered 4 weeks out this is bull $#*! to me, i ordererd a suspension kit worth $2500. 00 so finally i decided to do a return and they said shipping fees are bot refundable we are talking aroun $400 dlls this ia ridiculous.
Here you have me waiting to this day and paying fees on the shop where they have my vehichle thanks to car id.

Dont buy stuff frok this people even if the website shows that parts are available and ready for shipping there lying.
