“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Excellent customer service the representative helped me find exactly what I needed for my car and at one point the call dropped and she called back to help me finish my order! Very Happy with CAR ID!

I purchased set of taillights fog lights and headlights from them in same order and i talked to an employee who said she would put all my items same box to lower shipping cost. A week later a receive my parcel with only 2 out of 3 items in it. I got a hold of customer service and they sent out missing item in a week time. After receiving the item, I go to install all parts and come to figure out that the fog lights I ordered for my Jeep (JL) do not fit. Again I contact them and tell them that they are faulty and do not fit my Jeep, which they go on to say they must. I proceed to send them pictures showing the problem exactly, they respond saying " you are right these fit the JK model" then show me replacement ones that fit my Jeep. I agree to pick a replacement but then they expect me to pay the difference of the two sets and pay the shipping to me and the return shipping of the faulty headlights. I regret ever ordering from them and I advise others to avoid it if possible as well, I had a terrible experience and I am still dealing with after 2 weeks. I strongly encouraged them to take my money and better train their employees in every aspect it takes to run a business.

Very frustrated with carID at the moment! I placed my order on December 1,2014 for headlights and tail lights and the estimated ship dates were Dec 3 & 4. My credit card was charged on the 3rd. On the 5th, none of my items were shipped, so I called and checked as to why. The operator called the warehouse to make sure they were in stock and told me that they would ship that day. Here we are on December 8th and STILL NONE OF THE ITEMS HAVE SHIPPED! I tried to call carID and the hold time is 24 minutes and I put my number in to be called back... still waiting! I then went to the Internet and have read numerous BAD REVIEWS about this same issue with carID and now I'm a bit worried about getting my $$ back at this point! I called back over an hour after leaving my number and now they are magically closed for the day, when the message stated they should be open for over another hour by the time I called.

Tip for consumers:
Beware of ordering from carID!

If we could give a -1star, that's what they would get. We ordered a bumper for a truck the beginning of Feb, we waited and waited, then weeks later no bumper? I called to find out where it was. They could not find it? So they canceled the order supposedly, we did not. (with no refund in site) So after that amount of time wasted I found the same bumper with the winch plate from 4 wheel Parts, the salesman was very professional and made sure it could be shipped out directly. One week later and it is to be here tomorrow.
AND to boot 4 Wheel Parts had that same bumper $200.00 cheaper. What a good thing for Carid's incompetence, saved us $200.00 and we are getting the bumper within a week. Carid did not contact us for a refund when they canceled, but are going to issue it now that I called, have not seen it yet.
So the moral of the story about doing business with Carid is, if you do not consider your time worth anything then do business with them. If your time is valuable then use 4 Wheel Parts.

Tip for consumers:
Carid might be good for some people but they wasted 3 weeks of our time

Let me start by saying carid customer service is horrible. I order a set of headlights online which showed to be in stock. Waited 2 weeks with no response on shipping information before calling to find out they are in back order and would not be receiving them for another month. Finally recieved the order, a pair of spyder black euro headlight assemblies for a 2011 dodge 2500. Upon installing, both headlights shine to the left with no horizontal adjustment. Talk to carid and they advised that they would replace them once I sent the current pair back. Mind you I had already thrown the original assemblies away due to broken mounting tabs on both headlights. So now I am going to have to wait to drive my only means of transportation for 2 weeks until I receive the replacements. So I decided to purchase a second set of the same headlights to shorten the wait time. The second was recieved and I was refunded for the first set. The second set did the same thing. So I called and they said they could not refund for the second set due to me being out of 30 day warranty. Which they are going by the date of the first set ordered not the second set. So then I ordered a factory set from dodge, which by they way work fine. So now I have a pair of headlights from carid that I can do nothing with but get a replacement and go through this process a fourth time? Really? Oh by the way the customer service supervisor identified as TJ hung up on while explaining my issue to him. Good luck when ordering from carid

I bought a bed liner from CARiD for my Ford F150. When it arrived, it was missing the necessary hardware to install it. I asked the freight person delivering it if there was anything else that came with it, he said no. So I looked on CARiD to see if I could buy the necessary hardware, they didn't sell it. So I called customer service and they again confirmed that they don't sell the hardware necessary to install the bed liner. There was no mention anywhere on the their website that you needed to buy hardware separately.

I asked if I could return the product and they said I could but I would be responsible for the cost of shipping it back. Since it's a bed liner it ships overlarge freight and the cost of shipping is equal to the cost of the product itself. So clearly, no point in returning.

What really completed the scam was when I tried to leave a review on the CARiD website. The bed liner had all five star reviews which I was surprised by considering the experience I had. Then I realized I couldn't leave a review, there was no way to stop someone else from having this same experience. Their website says to use the link in the email you get after purchasing to write a review, there was no link of course.

Bottom line, don't buy anything from this website unless you're looking to waste your money.

I ordered a pair of Spyder headlights on 12/18/219 for my son as a Christmas present and gave CARid the vin# to insure the correct part. They informed me on 12/20/2019 that the headlights are on backorder and would be shipped on 01/13/2020. Instead of canceling the order, we worked with CARid and agreed to receive the parts on 01/13/2020. On 01/14/2020 we were told that the new ship date would be 02/10/2020. We received the headlamps for the car on 03/02/2020. In dealing with getting our son home from college and the Covid shutdown of our business, we discovered in mid March that CARid sent the wrong headlamps and they will not fit the car. Because we passed the 30 day return period, they are refusing to allow us to return the part for a refund. I agree with Bill P. Regarding his review on 01/22/2020, let the buyer BEWARE WORST CUSTOMER SEVICE EVER. Never Again!

Do not place an order with this company unless you're absolutely positive that the part(s) that you order will fit your vehicle, do not trust customer sales or customer service to provide you with the correct information. I provided year, make, model and bed length for placing an order for a rack system and toolbox and asked the customer sales rep several times if they would fit my vehicle. I was placed on hold more than once so the customer sales rep could ask the technical support department. I was assured that they would fit my vehicle. I received both items and the rack system fit but the toolbox was to small. I then called customer service and they issued an RMA to return the toolbox and once they received it they would then send out a replacement. However, they would not pay for the insurance and shipping to return the toolbox. Unfortunately, the cost to insure/ship it back was almost as much as the toolbox, obviously not economical nor feasible to ship it back, so I'm stuck with a toolbox that will not fit my truck.

They are scam artist and they dont care about the costumers! If they get their money thats all they care about. They make it impossible to return anything.

I live in Canada.
I''ve placed an order for a small item that cost 30 bucks and they charged on top a 30 bucks extra for the internationnal shipping.
It took 1 week for them to email me the tracking number... It came out to be a purolator as the carrier. $30 bucks for a shipment that weight no more than (say your tv remote?!?!) and with purolator? I would expect UPS at that price!
The shipment is apparently on transit and CARID said that if i choose to return the item, they will refund (i will lose the shipping fee only).
I think i will go that route, and refuse the item when the purolator guy shows up. Simply because the shippment was too slow and too expensive for that kind of delay. I will call the credit card tomorrow because something tells me that i will have more chance getting my money back from my credit card company than directly from CARID.
In other words, before you buy anything online make sure you type the following in Google: Name_of_the_company + sucks.
I. E: using google: CARID sucks.

Getting ready to get them with fruad they took my order I waited a week for a tracking number called every three days and was told I'd have it the next day until the 4th phone call then they said it was on backorder to the 20th then I call the 23rd and they said it's still in customs it be another week so I asked for a refund and they refund half of my money still haven't got the other half making a phone call to the bank next

I purchased on feb 4th rocker panels for a iroc, they took my money quick enough. On the 11th the day they should arrive i ck the tracking number it tells me it was delivered in another state, so i call to see what the issue. Was advised i had been giving the wrong tracking no. And it should still be on time. Two days later still not part, i call again supervisor says, hes not sure what up but he will ck. Into it and get back to me... two more days later NO WORD from them yet another supervisors assures me he is on top of it and will over night them, will call with new tracking, NO WORD (now this is after hold times of up to NO KIDDING a hour per call. Four supervisors, rude to me as im very upset at this point, i ask to just refund me, where he advises fine (rudely) it will take up to 48 hours! That was the 17th and as of now, still no refund, no part, OH and they are a middle man i called the manufacturer to see about parts, they hadnt been available for over two weeks! If you must use them, go though ebay and paypal at least you have protection there!

I made a purchase on Nov 20th. Item shipping said would be delivered by the 25th. Yet by the 26th hadn't even been shipped. I contacted through live chat and was told it would be updated in 24 hrs so I called on the 27th and was told they contacted the warehouse but the line was busy. Lol. I contacted later that night and was told to wait 48 hours for an update. I told them I wanted a full refund and was told they couldn't do that yet because they didn't know if the item had been shipped already. Knowing damn well it hadn't. After the live chat I requested a copy of the conversation and it said my email was invaled.
Complete scam bull $#*! company. I promise 90% of the 5 stars on here are the employee boosting their score. The website says they are a 5 star with bbb. Yet bbb has them as a 1 star.

The salesperson that helped me initially was excellent, but itt was all downhill from there. I purchased an expensive truck rack from these people that took an extensive amount of assembly, 3 to 4 hours. When I took the last piece out of the box, it had a big dent that was quite visible. I called them to let them know and they stated that I would have to disassemble the entire thing and mail it back. So now I would have to spend another half day with disassembly and go to the trouble of shipping it back. When I asked why they couldn't just send the one dented piece, they (all three of the people I spoke with) stated that their return policy required that I send the whole thing back. They gave me double talk about how they had to determine if it was a problem with my installation. I told them that I saw that it was damaged when I removed it from the box and had not yet been installed. And if I wanted to talk to a supervisor, I would have to wait 24-48 hours, but since this was a Friday, I would probably have to wait until the middle of the following week. If it took me 4 hours to assemble, and 4 hours to disassemble, and another four hours to assemble the new replacement rack, I would be two days into this rack. I told them that if they had told me they were selling me used or damaged goods, I would have expected a substantial discount. The final woman I spoke to was very rude. Don't they know how one bad review can really mess up their bottom line. Never again wth this company. They will be out of business soon I believe with that kind of customer service.

I ordered some LED bulbs for my 2012 Prius III from CareID and they were as good as advertised. I received the bulbs EARLIER than scheduled and was very impressed by them. If I need accessories for my car, I'm going through CareID!

I ordered a driver side and passenger side inner door handles for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee they told me it will arrive late because of the pandemic then I never receive my order then I called him up and ask him about it and they said they canceled my order and they never gave me my money back what a joke so I highly recommendp not to order anything from this place

I purchase 2 front seat covers by inputting my car make model and year into their seat finder on the main page. It pulled up a beautiful pair of covers that day $114-134. It did say universal fit on there as well but I thought since I put my specific make model and year they would at least fit - might not be perfect - but they would fit. Got them 2-3 months after purchasing them (for the highest amt 134+tax) They did NOT fit, didn't even make it over my seat. They were too small and I could not fit them on at all. I returned them with a note saying I was not paying the stocking fee because this was not my fault- they advertised the wrong seat covers for my car. I totally understand universal fit - I have some on my other car I bought off amazon and they don't look perfect but they fit over the seat - but these did not even almost fit. They told me I would be getting my refund less the tax ( a little more than $10) because it wasn't a CarID error. Which honestly the money isn't a huge deal - but the whole fact of the seat covers couldn't fit, even though I put the year make and model in... should be their problem not mine. Bad advertising. The quality was great I wish they did fit but they didn't and now they just made money off of me. Do that to 100 people and you made $1000. Great business plan.

I purchased these bulbs as they were specifically recommended to work in my 2015 BMW 328i x-drive. While I loved the brightness and coloring of the LEDs, one of the bulbs flickered when the vehicle was first turned on and produced an error message on my dashboard (the other bulb worked perfectly). I contacted CARiD several times regarding the problem. They requested I send a short movie clip of the flickering and a photo of the error message on the dash to document the problem. They sent me new decoders, which didn't solve the problem, and when nothing they suggested worked, they finally told me there was no fix and that I should return the bulbs for a refund. However, the refund document they sent me states: "All products included in this return are in their original packaging, contain no damage, and have not been installed." As I had obviously installed the bulbs (how else would I know they flickered and caused an error message), I am not eligible for a refund. Instead, they offered me a $20 gift certificate toward a future purchase - as if I'd do business with them in the future.

UPDATE: Today I installed a set of $49.95 Sirius LEDs I purchased from Amazon (which would issue a refund if the bulbs didn't work). They work flawlessly - no flickering, no error messages. Obviously, the overpriced Lumen bulbs were the problem, and Carid won't stand behind their defective product.
