“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Products are awesome but once you buy the products the service is terrible, I called to confirm my order and they never sent it and I waited longer then a month and a half to get my rims even tho I was told It would be 10 to 14 business days, they didn't even have the rims made or anything and then they wouldn't let me cancel the order, told me they tried calling to make sure the rims where right which is just an excuse because they emailed all the other times yet for 3 weeks they tried calling me they couldn't email me, and made be wait 5 weeks for 5000 dollar rims and I had nothing to show for it.

They sent wrong part and said I MUST PAY a exchange fee of $38 for them to fix they're mistake and send me the rigjt part I alredy paid them for. $#*!I G LEFTIST HACK RIPOFFS. DO THESE TWO PARTS LOOK THE SAME TOO YOU? One is supposed to be the left and 1 the rigjt " the rigjt parts are identical from right too left"

This place is an absolute wreck. They lied about my sway links being in stock, said it would ship next day. Issued a label 3 hours after my order, but little did I know it was only marked shipped. The UPS label hasn't even registered a package being picked up for 3 DAYS. I've talked to 3 people on their live chat and 1 on the phone.
Ordered on Monday morning early, so 3 days now they've been lying about it shipping, saying 1) they don't have it in stock, the manufacturer does 2) lying to me for 3 days by saying they called the manufacturer and it has shipped the day before. I ask for the tracking, they tell me, get this, it's the SAME LABEL they issued 3 DAYS ago, which I've refreshed 3x during the call and it still says "Shipping Label Created." So they lie to get your order, lie to keep your order, and if you need a part and source it elsewhere, unless you force them to issue a return with no fees, they'll charge you to send it back. These people have 3 hours to send me my damn return request with no fees in my email before I chargeback. NEVER. AGAIN. I need my car on the road. WHAT A JOKE. ORDER ******* They refuse to cancel your order forcing you to stick with it even if it takes them forever to send the part they lied they have in stock.

Tip for consumers:
I don't mind retailers that don't have it on hand, but PLEASE don't lie on your product page and say you do. And if you know the item hasn't shipped yet over 3 days, let me cancel my order. Stop lying saying it shipped the day before. I have the transcripts and phone calls to prove it. I'm surprised they aren't getting massive chargebacks.

Toyota sway links from Ebay. I bet you $50 they'll get here before CARiD's order and I just placed the ebay order today 2/24 at 10:45am

Watch out. Yes, they have great SEO. Never delt with such an unrealistic company regarding a simple $30 return for something I think was described inadequately!

Very poor customer service with lack of communication on parts and install. Highly recommend just going through manufacturer than this 3rd party vendor!

Tip for consumers:
don’t use CAR ID. use manufacturer or order through place installing the parts! CARUD are crooks and don’t care about consumer

Terrible. First, I ordered four part worth less than $4. They only sent two, AND CHARGED ME $19 TO SHIP IT ME. What a rip off... this has to be the worst internet transaction of my life...

Ordered brushgaurd for 2011 Toyota 4Runner. It was supposed to be in stock,
They lied about that. They sent me a tracking number after about 10 days. Tracking number gave an estamated delivery date of 'arch 7 but said the order is in Riverside Ca awaiting drparture. Been saying that for 10 days. Yesterday was march 7th. Checked tracking number this morning and says unable to estimate delivery date. I have sent many emails and have even asked them to cancel order and refund my money ( $756). I keep getting responces back saying my order is on the way. Do not buy from this company. I tead reviews last night and most people have had serious problems from carid. Late or nonexistant deliveries, wrong or missing parts, blemished or damaged parts. Buyer beeare. You have been warned.

CHESTER FROM CARID.COM STEPPED INTO HELP & MADE THINGS RIGHT. I WILL SAY THAT THEY DO TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I ordered two Shelby CS45 20x9 wheels on 08/06/20 for $707.78 shipped. I have emailed the wheels department regarding the shipment on 08/26/20, representative Clint stated wheels would be shipped out within 2 weeks. On September 28th I decided to call and check status, representative stated there was no update on shipping status. I then asked to have ordered cancel, he stated that it would be 3 to 5 business days to be refunded. It is now October 3 and no refund nor cancelation confirmation. Please beware before you proceed to make a large money transaction with this company.- Aaron Smith KY

I ordered headlamps for my 2000 Dodge, Durango. They guaranteed fitment. Totally opposite there were gaps on both sides of the headlamps. The beams were insufficient. Very difficult to adjust. I required an auto shop to install them. At the end of the installation realizing that they didn't work properly I requested an RA and any consideration on car IDs part. I spent $150 to have them installed and adjusted. It wasn't an easy installation. It cost me another hundred dollars to have them removed in the original headlamps replaced onto the Durango. The originals as bad as they were provided better light than the ones I ordered. Customer service was difficult to reach. I was on hold for a very long time the two or three times I tried to get through to them. I provided them with pictures of the bad fitment and to this day months later they're still offering the same headlamps which are very dangerous. On top of that they don't fit properly. The part number is 2lhp dak97jm tmi, I would stay away from this Chinese manufacturer. They misrepresent their product. In car ID does nothing about it. At the end of spending $250 over this episode and receiving an RA 17 days after I filed my complaint they offered me a $35 gift certificate. Car ID needs to go to Amazon fulfillment school it's very obvious they don't care all that much about their customer base. It's just a numbers game for them. Buyer beware.

By all means i advise everyone to stay away from this crooks. I recently placed an order of 8 items. All of them where advertised as IN STOCK and will ship in 24-48 hours. After the purchase, they immediately charged my card with the full amount of all the items in the order. That was on a Friday. Next monday morning i gave them a call to confirm everything was fine and the representative assured me that everything was in stock and would be shipped on the day. Then i heard nothing for 3 days and during those days tried to communicate with them via phone and always was on the phone ( ON HOLD) for more than 30 minutes listening to the "FUNNY GUY" until they hang up. So, no luck. Oh, i forgot to mention that i placed the order on 08/21/2015 and got an email with estimated shipping date of 08/26/2015. Then on Thursday i got email that two of my items where in backorder and the new estimated shipping date will be 10/01/2015 " MORE THAN A MONTH AFTER". Everything in my order where parts of a kit and a missing part will make that useless to me since i would be able to install it.

End of story, they waste my time and money, with false stock advertising. If i would knew that those parts where not in stock i would probably not purchased from them. Long story short. After a week of wasted time and effort trying to communicate with them i received an email stating that i should see the refund on the next 3-5 days. Let see.

Shame in you CARID. You shouldn't be in business.

I ordered a set of wheels said they would ship the following Tuesday and they never did so I called and was told they were on back order until August fifth few days later got another email saying now on backorder until August 10th so feeling like I've been scammed I called the manufacturer directly to confirm my order they said they had my order and would send it that day to CARiD's warehouse so the next day I called wheel specialist they said yes we received your wheels they will ship out in three to five days well today being the fifth day I called this morning to confirm they would ship was told yes I will be receiving tracking number today didn't happen I called again they said I have to now wait 2-3 days just for an update on my order and estimated shipping date is now back to August tenth what a joke stay away from this company DO NOT order from CARiD I feel I have been scammed if I receive my order I will post when on my review

So i ordered emergency brake cables for my 2011 jeep grand cherokee 6 cyl the listing said that they would fit well what they sent was almost twice as long as the original (possibly for the 8cyl) anyway so i went on and chattted with cs and they basiclly said that it wasnt there fault and they were charging me shipping both ways when i tried to respond they ended the chat abrubtly then i sent an email no one responded i since went to the dealer and got the right part for less lesson cost me $26 learn from my mistake DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

On 05/25/2022 I purchased a Recon Xtreme *******X Tailgate Light Bar. Installation took place on 06/10/2022 by licensed technician and was informed it would not light up. I called ID CARID's Customer Service and was informed what to do. I was informed to have it removed and have the technician write on my installation receipt " Light Bar will not light up" instructions were followed. Call back to Customer Service and talked with a different Customer Service Rep. And received a different procedure. She looked in the computer records and saw what instructions were given by the previous (1st) Customer Service Rep provided and was informed the previous Customer Service Rep. Should not have told me that. Requested to talk with a supervisor and was informed all 4 Supervisors were busy with other customers and a call me back and would take 24 to 48 hours. Now I am expected to eat the $224.00 cost of the light bar. A sorry verbally or written is only an excuse. I should not be the one to eat the cost. This problem was created in and by their own in-house staff. I started being a customer in 2015. This experience has prompted me to no longer be a customer. This problem should have been resolved since it was created by their own in-house Customer Service Rep and not resolved by upper management.

Everything was great till my order arrived... wasn't the floor mats that was on the website. They said they would send the one on the website only to be told when I checked on my order"that was a picture, they don't carry that one.The worst part was they would only return 50 % of my refund and a "thats the best they can do!". Finally after bombing them with emails, two weeks and ALOT of aggravation and time on the phone, I received my refund. NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!

I ordered front and back bumper guard bars for my truck from them. I called because i wanted to make sure they had what i wanted. They told me yes everything i wanted was in stock and would be mailing monday. Monday nothing. So wednesday still no tracking number. I call and they told me they were gonna check for me and would call me back. I get no call back but an email. Telling me that they have one of my bars and the other is on back order. They said they would be mailing me one and the other was on 30 day backorder. So what am i supposed to do with one bar. I instantly replied in the email that i wanted a full refund. I called the next day as soon as they opened and told them i want a refund. They told me i have to wait for the manufacturer to give them the money back. Even tho i paid them, not a manufacturer. Its now been over a week and i still don't have my money. Im out close to 500$ right now. Ive called way too many times and still nothing. This place is the definition of unproffessional. This is a horrible business that needs to be shut down. Do not buy anything at all from this place.

I ordered rims and tires. Spent 1700 dollars. One rim came damaged and all 4 tires were put in facing wrong direction. They also place all the lug nuts inside rim as you roll tire you can hear the lug nuts rolling around. Super unprofessional it's probably what damaged my rim. I immediately sent pics of both issues. They told me at first they would refund me up to 95 dollars for changing the tires the right way even though it cost me 125. Then they wanted to give me 50 dollars for the rim. Which is down right insulting. They said since I didn't have the packaging the rim came in I was not eligible for full return. The packaging was sliced off with razor so the mechanic could put wheels on car. It was in so many little pieces the mechanic put it in dumpster. There excuse for not refunding the rim is a complete joke. Once I told them I would report them to the better buiness bureau they said they couldn't read recipet and they would now give me 75 for tire instillation and 50 for damaged rim. This company is a complete joke and fraud

OREDERED A LIFT KIT, THEY SENT ME WRONG KIT. I RETURNED IT AND NOW ITS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS AND THEY ARE FIGHTING TO GIVE ME MY REFUND. NO ANSWERS TO WHY EXEPT THEY SAID THEY ARE MISSING ONE PIECE. In November of 2019 I purchased over $3000. 00 worth of tires and rims. They came with "programable" valve stems. I have had issues with the valve stems since i put the tires on in January of 2020. They wont auto learn and no one has been able to program them. I called CARiD and their customer service was horrible. I called 5 times and spoke to a different person every time. EVERY ONE OF THEM was absolutely rude, insulting, called me a liar, and completely talked over me. They ALL did this. I believe that they are trained to act like this to frustrate you and avoid the situation. They were all so rude that I will never use this company again. They try to avoid their issues and faulty equipment and put the blame on you. They actually wanted me to get a note from my mommy(mechanic) like I was 6 to prove I wasn't lying. My mechanic just laughed at me. So what will I do? I guess live with the faulty valve stems that they won't replace, change them out when I get new tires in two years and NEVER AGAIN USE CARiD. Take my advice and buy on another site. If you have issues at least you won't be treated like you are a lessor person and insulted continually by a host of "customer service" reps. I'm done with this company and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau along With the Attorney Generals Office.
