“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

So I ordered things for my new car. I got half the order on Sept20 waited 3 days hoping the rest will get here Nothing called in they told me by Oct23 a whole month away ok ill wait its Oct23 and Nothing
And give them 3 day and AGAIN NO PACKAGE now Oct26 I call in and they say maybe will be sent out tomorrow WTF horrible place never again

Odered a set of "replacement" stainless steel chrome finish mirror covers
And got a set of tacky chrome painted plastic covers with 3m tape on the back that stick on top of the oem mirror covers instead. Carid's website stated that the covers would replace (original part)
When cleary a tacky piece of plastic that covers the back of the mirror with 3m tape on is not a replacement part. As bad as it was i dident want to go through the hassle of shipping the item back, so i proceded to try out the item on the car to see if it would atleast look decent, turns out they dont quite sit on the mirror housing correctly
They have a nasty overhang along the top
And there is open space around the lip on the trim piece. This will be the first and last purchase i ever make from car id. What an absoloute dissapointmemt.

I ordered two centric loaded calipers for my car. Then i got a mail and a tracking number with estimated delivery date. But then i got a new mail that it was shipped again. The first tracking was just from the storage to the shop. I live in norway so i waited along time for these calipers. When the package arrive they have just managed to send me one of the calipers. So i mail them back and say where is my other caliper? They apoligized and offered me a 20 $ gift card. Very useful when it cost 85 $ in shipping only to norway. So after some days they send me the other caliper. They talked about it had been damaged under transport. So i assumed that is why i never got the other caliper. Or so i thought. But no! Now they want me to return the caliper i have recieved in the first place because it was this they claimed have been damaged! I inspected it and it looks in tip top shape. I told them that there is no need to return it because it is not damaged. But no they still want me to return it. Why was it delivered to me in the first place if they suspect it to be damaged? I have not said anything to them or tried to return it! So i said can you at least mail it to me on express mail because i need these parts to get my car back on the road. I even offered to pay the extra cost for it. But no, this was not possible they said. I will never shop at carid again!

These people should be under investigation. They are showing a lower price than anyone else telling you that it is in stock, taking your money, then stringing you along telling you that it is on backorder, then come along and say that it is not manufactured anymore and send your money back. Just think of the money this place is making just by holding your money for you.
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE LIKE CARID
I will be fileing a complaint with the new jersey BBB for what ever good that will do

Sent me the wrong item, told they would send correct item and I would be receiving the tracking number for correct item in transit. Never sent the correct item instead one week later got a E mail with return shipper for incorrect item. No mention of their mistake of sending wrong item. Said after they get wrong item back they would consider sending correct item. Bunch of A- holes 23 days later still no item and no refund, These THIEVES CANNOT BE TRUSTED OR BELIEVED. Do youself a favor STAY AWAY FROM THESE UNTRUSTWORTHY MISHANDLERS!

DO NOT BUY FROM CARiD! CARiD (Onyx) is disgusting in the way the company treats customers. I ordered two tires from CARiD August 22,2019. The amount of this transaction exceeded $100 ($102.44). Supposedly, the tires were delivered August 28,2019. I was not home when the tires were "delivered" and never received them. I immediately contacted CARiD and FedEx, and made a report. They started an "investigation". I was "promised" by customer service they would warranty the tires and mail another two to me free-of-charge. However, they later stated there was nothing they could do and blamed me for not being home when the tires were delivered. PEOPLE HAVE JOBS! They did not mail the tires signature required AS I HAD REQUESTED they do (by telephone) when I originally placed the order. They made non-stop excuses, lies, and have no care whatsoever about customer service. I had spent extensive time on the phone with numerous CARiD representatives to resolve this matter and was unfruitful. I requested a refund and they continued to make excuses, and pointed the blame at me. Nonetheless, I filed a complaint with the BBB and their excuse now is that I have a pending credit card dispute which I do not! The transaction has been re-posted in my bank account. I gave away over a hundred dollars! A lot of their positive reviews are fake. If you'd like to actually see how this company is, check-out the Better Business Bureau (CARiD/Onyx)!

Brake rotors weren't compatible despite their website indicating they were. CARiD's website never prompted me for a "submodel" for my 2016 Fiesta, so I ended up with oversized (larger diameter) rotors apparently meant for the 4-wheel disc brake version Fiesta. I discovered that "after" having taken the current rotors off the car - all that dirty work only to have to put the original rotors back on and go thru CARiD's return - which was a hassle. You'll know what I'm talking about if you ever have to return anything. I'm surprised that they didn't require that little form you have to attach to the outside of the package to be notarized. The icing on the cake for all the trouble of my having to do that brake job all over again (once they sent the correct rotors) was that they didn't provide a full refund on the original purchase. Just some additional hassle dealing with CADiD to get a full refund - which they eventually made. Bottom line is that I'll never be back at their website ordering anything.

I was working with a Jason Nicolo on my wheels and tires he email man told me that they were on backorder and they didn't know when they would get them but I could pick another type of Tire and he would see if they could work with me on the price so I called and he wasn't there and I talked to Jeremy which took care of the problem but I wanted to thank Jason Nicolo for contacting me and letting me know first

Ordered over $300 of product for my new car. Wanted to keep it as new and protected as possible. The website never said the item was on backorder and I received an email stating that it would ship 1/7/15 when I ordered on 12/21/14. No biggie. Then I call on the 7th and they delayed it because the manufacturers were overwhelmed with Christmas orders. New ship date was the 1/16/15. I called again and they verified with the manufacturer that it was still on backorder new ship dat 1/30/15. The customer service agent offered me a coupon to buy from their site. I advised I did not want it since i wouldn't be buying from them again, I really did want to cancel the order not get money off another one! So he sent the coupon anyways, I thought that was disrespectful since i didn't want it! So today I cancelled the order and was told i would get a refund within two business days. I think they need to figure out their business model and either know what they have in stock and a real ship date or close down the site. CAR ID-No you will not find my account number on this review. I called in to customer service 3 times and was not satisfied, with either a real ship date or a product shipped. After given 3 ship dates i dont trust that it will ship at all.

Order your products elsware! I ordered a grill online from Carid.com. A large factor in my decision was picking a grill that was "available" and not on back order. I purchased my grill and got my estimated ship date of 7 days later. A few days later I got an update email saying the ship date was changed to 11 days (there was a long weekend the day after my original ship date, so I'm a little disapointed but understanding). No word from carid and my ship date comes and goes, so I try to track my shipment online on there website and it says "no shipment found". Naturally I call them to check on the shipment at which point (after several lengthy holds) I am told the grill is on back order and won't ship for another 2 weeks. I explain my disappointment and frustration to the customer service agent that I am needing to contact them after my ship date to find this out and clearly she is only interested in me accepting what she said and getting me off the phone. After a lengthy conversation about how this is not acceptable and my suggestion that I should in some way be compensated for their lack of customer service and luring customer to buy their products based on a lie, and demanding some kind of compensation she is authorized to offer me a 4% ($30) gift card for my troubles. They are faulsly advertising their product availability to entice customers and then wait for them to complain before anything is done. I am yet to receive my grill, and will update this review when and if it ever shows up or if they chose to right their wrong doing.

I ordered some running boards from their website. They added what I thought was an exhorbitant shipping charge. Got on the phone withing 1/2 hour and cancelled with their custormer service dept. They assured that the order was cancelled.

3 days later I was notified that it was shipped. Called customer service again and they agreed to give me $20.00 credit if I would take it. I agreed.

Received the order. Received chrome instead of black with no mounting brackets. Called customer service to have them pick up the order. They said I would receive a return UPS label within three days. Instead I got an e mail stating that I must take pictures of the product so they could send them to the mfg. Totally a delay tactic.

I called the mfg. To see if they might be able to help me. Found out that the Carid website miss states that brackets are included and that the stock number ordered by Carid was incorrect for my vehicle.

I have spent literally 3 sessions on hold for 30 plus minutes each only to get what sound to me to be a offshore customer service dept. who doesn't have any idea what they are doing.

Never, never again! I strongly recommend that you do not order from this outfit!

Avoid this online retailer like EBOLA! If you have an issue with a part you bought, they will give you the run around, different agents handling your case and don't know where the last agent left of, they will ask you lots of pictures as if you are allowed to get into the mechanic's shop to take pictures just for the sole purpose or warranty, and even if you do they will ask for more pictures and videos (how do you picture driveshaft vibration? I've sent them pics and videos to prove it and still was not enough, they blame mechanic that it was not installed properly, but it was installed correctly!). I had the 3 shops that dismissed the driveshaft was defective but still that was not enough.

My warning is, if its past 30 days and had issues, you will get burned. I guarantee you that. So you better have a good credit card that will chargeback this merchant for they will steal your money and get no refund as recourse. It's still safer to buy local aftermarket parts because you have a recourse if things go wrong and won't give you nonsense. Use this online merchant at your own risk!

I ordered seat covers on 12/12 after calling the company to make sure they would make it there by Christmas. They told me that they would if I did the express shipping. 2 days later I received an email saying that they would not be shipped until 12/26. I called to see what happened and they told me that because of the holidays the manufacturer was backed up, they would be shipped on the 26th and that they could either give me a $25 gift card or $10 off and if I wanted I could get my money back for the express shipping and it would be shipped the regular 3 day shipping. The 26th came and went with nothing, on the 27th I received an email that they were delayed again. This time they would not be shipped until 1/2! So again I called the company and asked them what the problem was. They told me that it was the manufacturer and there was nothing they could do, I could either wait for them or get my money back and cancel the order. When I complained further they told me that they could only give me another $5 off. Even though they had delayed it 2x already and it was going to be 3 weeks after ordering it to receive it. I checked the order status on 1/4 to see if they had been shipped because I had not received an email saying that they were. The website said 'Update in progress please check back within 24 hours", so I thought good, they are probably being shipped and will be here in the next 3 days or so. Wrong again! I checked again today 1/7 and it still says that it is being updated. I HAVE HAD IT! Do not order from this company unless you are willing to wait for more than a month to receive your order.

Spent a few months away on another work project only to come home to see these rims in the house. CarID really did me dirt. CarID took months to deliver the rims, then only 2 showed up on my doorsteps. The existing rims i had on my jeep were so bent the whole front-end was shaking, so I was eager to mount the 2 that was delivered, on the front of the vehicle, and that's when the tire shop guy said "THEY DONT FIT". Sent an email explaining the situation. I was told to go to another tire shop. Did that same issue. Email sent again... Now I'm told to measure the wheels and send the info via email. Done... Now I'm told the correct size rims were sent and I inputted incorrect vehicle information. Checked my vehicle info like a million times and it was inputted correctly on the website. Now I'm told to buy new wheel hubs because mines are no good. However, I just bought 2x wheel hubs at AutoZone and they still don't fit. I cant even sell them online because i know not what size they are. Thats not even the worst part... I AM STUCK WITH AFFIR MONTHLY PAYMENTs!

I wish I read these bad reviews before I bought from them or I never would hve purchased in the first place. They sent me the wrong item and now I have to wait 2-3 days to print a retun lable. Then I have to go to ups and ship the wrong item back. Then I have to wait till they recieve it before they will even ship me the right item. Then I have to wait till they ship out the correct item. When all is said and done I will have waited 2 weeks for a LIGHT BULB! They business is in nj about an hour away from me. Absotleutly ridiculous that they won't ship the correct item until they recieve the other one back.

Also, they won't let you leave reviews on their website. They claim they send you a link to do so once you place your order. I have reviewed to link in my email to leave a review. Which leads me to believe that THEY LEAVE THEIR OWN REVIEWS on their website. Once I receive my correct item I will never order through them again. If I could leave 0 stars I would

I ordered a wheel in June, two weeks later, they sent me the wrong wheel. It took several days to get a return label, then I had to lug the wheel to ups. They wouldn't send another one until they got it. Several days after they got it, they sent another wheel - another WRONG wheel. When I complained all they wanted was more information from me, I sent them back pictures from their website of what I ordered and what they sent me along with pictures of the actual wheel they sent. They wanted more information. I had to file complaints through the better business bureau and paypal. They misrepresented the information in their complaints. Several weeks after I ordered the wheel and over two weeks after they had the second wrong wheel back I got my refund, but only because paypal forced the refund, they did not willing return my money. When you check the better business bureau on someone always check the number of complaints rather than the rating. They have an A+ rating with over 250 complaints. BBB considers them resolved if the company responds at all. They must pay money for the rating they get because multiple reviews had similar problems.

On Wednesday I placed an order with CarID regarding one rim that I need it. When I placed the order it said it will be delivered the next day. I got my shipping confirmation and I didn't receive anything. I waited for fedex to be out for delivery and I didn't receive anything. I called and no one knew what to say. I ordered four rims thinking I got the best deal. I called on Friday to see the status on the one rim and he said it's not in stock. It might arrive in 10 business days. I told them I don't like tow wait since the website stated shipping in the next day, so cancel that order. I wanted to cancel the four rims order and it was less than 12 hours and he told me he can't do that at all. I called them Monday to cancel the order and I was told even if I don't receive the order I will be charge for this order. The representative Alejandro or Alexandro didn't write about the cancellation. This is the worst company to order anything from. They are expensive and the worst customer service. Now they are telling I am responsible for shipping and everything. Why I have to pay for something I tried to canceled right away? They are making consumer keep the items even before it was shipped out.

I purchased new rims and tires in May, we are now in July and I still am not able to keep the rims fastened to my vehicle. I have been working on cars for over 15 years now and am more than capable of installing rims. The lug nuts I was sent dont stay torqued, I use my snap on torque wrench set to 110 ft/lbs and tighten the lugs in a star pattern, I go drive the car and within a few miles the lug nuts come loose and the rims starts to wobble. I reattach my old rims and lugs with no issue. Customer support has told me several times they sent the wrong lugs, then they say they were right. I have been sent 3 sets now all of which are different. Earlier this week they told me they would send out another set, I call them today to find out they didnt send anything and that they are again saying the second set they sent me was correct. I notice the hub of the rim is different from the hub of my Jeep so I asked if spacers were required, they said they would look into it, then a set show up, they also dont fit around the hub of my Jeep. The lug nuts I have been sent have not once been the same as the ones in the picture I wanted to purchase, when I mentioned this I was told you cant go by the picture. So now I would like a refund but I am told I cant have one because rims and tires are non refundable even if they wont stay fastened to my car. Defective product that doesnt work as intended should not be exempt from returns. Shop elsewhere.

Tip for consumers:
I wish I had read others reviews before making this purchase, if I had, I wouldnt not have shopped with CarID.
