“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I honestly got Model CUSTOMER Service! I would hire that agent that helped me in a Ny minute for my company and all like her! Blessings in Jesus name!

i am from Canada and I purchased a $164 USD front bumper for my Lancer and before purchasing the bumper, I spoke to 3 of the CARID representatives to make sure I am getting the correct item that would fit my car and they also sent me a link so I can purchase it quickly. So I thought for sure this would be ok and I went ahead and did it.

The item was delayed and took about 2 weeks to arrive to the shop and of course the bumper did not fit. I am from Canada so I had to pay international shipping which cost $294.34 and I also had to pay for custom taxes.

The CARID representatives I spoke to did explain how much it would be to return the item. They just sent me a RA form to take back the item and I had to make an appointment with UPS to pck the item. And next thing you know CARID is only refunding me $43 out of the $600 they charged me because the return shipping cost was too much for manufacturer and they did not want the item back.

This business is so frustrating to deal with and the fact that the customer has to go through this bull$#*! just to get a refund is so unacceptable. They are a complete rip off. Never again dealing with them.

I placed an order with CARiD. The shipping charge was calculated incorrectly. I called immediately after the order was placed and cancelled the order. CARiD apologized for the mistake ($500 shipping fee for 8 van roof mounting brackets), and reassured me the order was cancelled. The problem is that they charged my credit card for the order; $800. I have been on the phone with their customer support team every 48 hours since the transaction, and they tell me that I will be reimbursed for the cancelled transaction within 24-48 hours. This cancelled transaction took place over 14 days ago. After several conversations with CARiD they now tell me they are a drop shipper and rely on 3rd party vendors to make refunds. They tell me they are not in control, and they state that the vendor who supplies the bolts has not been responding to their requests to cancel the order. So, CARiD is passing their dysfunctional relationship with this vendor onto me, the customer. I am now going through disputes with American Express in an attempt to recover the money CARiD has stolen. This has been the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I know this story sounds unbelievable, but it is true. I will never purchase from CARiD again.

I ordered car mats from this company and received the wrong color. I contacted customer service and they said they would give me 1/2 credit for the mats I received and would send me a confirmation and authorization to return the wrong color mats.

After a week I contacted them as to why I hadn't received the above and they told me that the manufacturer would not issue credit or enter a new order unless I destroyed the old mats and sent the pictures to Carid.

I DID AND THE REP WOULD NOT RESPOND BACK TO ME. TWO WEEKS LATER I HAVE CAR MATS THAT I DESTROYED BY CUTING THEM IN HALF AND NO NEW MATS. AND OUT $74.00.

DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY,

I have filed a dispute with CariD for $166.23 charged on 8/15/16. I have emailed CariD and have also left 2 voicemail with the supervisor for CariD and haven't gotten any responses. On the original receipt the confirmation email said they would attempt to deliver 3 times and after that my bumper would be returned. They said nothing about needing to set up a delivery time nor did they ask for a phone number with me i expected it to be delivered to the shipping address i provided. I received the email stating they tried to call me on a very old number im assuming they got off of my paypal account and that email went to my spam folder and i didnt see it. Once i looked in my spam and saw they tried to contact me i sent an email back and i called the freight company and they told me that the seller told them since they didnt have a phone number they should take it to the junk yard. They never tried to deliver the bumper to my shipping address which was just 15 minutes away from the freight companies main warehouse. The freight company said since technically CARiD is their customer not me that they have to do what CariD told them to do which was to take it to the junk yard. I called CariD and was told to leave a voicemail for the supervisor which i have done twice with no response. I want my money refunded as I never received my bumper and CariD wasted their own time and money by telling the freight company to send the bumper to a junk yard. My order # is *******

I was charged for the bumper cover that I ordered and told via email that I would be contacted about the shipping quote within 72 hours (3 days) not once but twice, and then after waiting for nearly 3 weeks I finally gave up and canceled the order, only to be told it could take 3 days or longer to get the "shipper" to confirm the cancelation.

If this is the same shipper that was going to provide a quote within 72 hours it might take weeks!

CARiD representatives send nice emails but they don't address the issue, and that's not good enough!

The item did not ship because it could not ship since it was an oversized item being drop shipped from a manufacturer's warehouse, and I was still waiting for the shipping quote so there's no logical reason for a prolonged delay in returning my funds to the payment source.

Very disappointed, but not in the bumper cover I can't accurately review, or because I never received my order, it's because they are a go between company that outsources and they've managed to tie up my funds for 20 days, and I'm still waiting.

I ordered a set of wheels 13 September, I received a phone call from one of your staff and he said I needed to agree with a document they sent me because it was a special order. I was driving so I told him I would check as soon I got home. I checked and I had no emails from Carid so I called your company and talked to a Jorge. I explained what had happened and he said they had sent 3 emails today. I told him I didn't receive and he said that I had to have received. I told him I was looking at my email and I didn't receive. Then he told me to calm down if I wanted to work with him. First I was already calm and all I was trying to do was find out where my wheels were. Then he verified my email and you all were sending the email to the wrong address. After he verified my address and sent I received and completed the required information you needed and returned to you. I don't need to be accused of having a problem and told to calm down. He doesn't know me and what my tones are. All I know i it was extremely poor customer service and now I worried about getting the correct order and it not taking another month. I have used CARiD for several years now and have always had nothing but the best service and products, I recently ordered a product that was a duplicate on my order only for a different model of truck and didnt realize it when I placed the order. I called customer service and explained the situation, no problems, Joshua set up the return pickup notice and was very helpful, I'm looking forward to order my next products as soon as I get the current ones installed

Carid is an awful, poor excuse for a parts business online. I ordered headlights for my 2011Honda civic that was not cheap. I got an email saying that they were going to be delayed due to them being made to order, and would take over a month to get to me. After waiting over a month, i finally recieved my order, and after 3 hours of labor, the headlights were incorrect, and turned out to be ACURA TLX HEADLIGHTS! After being furious of waiting over a month for these lights to be made and shipped, I furiously called, emailed, and left voicemails to the company wanting to return, and get a refund. They did not call back, or answer phones, or even reply to my emails! Dont bother trying to return something either of you buy it and it is incorrect because they will not help you. Most likely keep the product and your money. BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

I purchased Rain X Latitude wipers from a retailer. One day on my way to work, the driver's side wiper flew off my vehicle! When I stopped and looked at it, I realized the wiper disconnected from the plastic piece that clips onto my wiper arm as the plastic piece was still attached! Thinking it was a fluke, I went to a retailer again and paid $40 for 2 new wipers! Less than a month later, same thing happened as before! I emailed CARiD & got a reply saying they will help me if I bought it on their web site, or would connect me with someone from eBay if I purchased them there. I replied to them stating I bought them at a retailer as I needed replacements IMMEDIATELY! 2 days later, no reply! Sent another email asking if they WOULD NOT do anything about THEIR defective product because I purchased them from a retailer... 9 days later STILL no reply! For the price I paid, I had hoped for a better quality product! NEVER again will I waste my money on the Rain X Latitude wipers and heed anyone considering this purchase! They clearly DO NOT stand behind their products!

I ordered front and rear WeatherTech Window Deflectors for my 2015 Ford Fiesta Hatchback from CARid. Both WeatherTech and CARids webpage photos show a rear window photo of a different vehicle. If they had a photo of the Deflector on a 2015 Ford Fiesta, it would have show that when the window is lowered slightly, to allow for ventilation, it leaves a 1/2 gap at the rear which lets in rain and is an invitation for break-ins. If I had known this, I would never have ordered the set for rear windows, since I find them merely decorative and basically unusable for what theyre intended. I requested a refund from CARid, but after 27 email exchanges dealing with three separate people, and repeating the same issue several times, CARid finally informed me that they would not stand behind the WeatherTech window deflectors they sold me and would not offer a refund or discount.

They don't even deserve 1 star. Bought LED conversion kit for my truck. Was told if I wasn't happy with everything that I could return them. (The salesman was great in providing all the info I needed) Installed them and they do not work any better than the factory lights. So I submitted a return request, waited the amount of time they said it would take and I never receive any return ticket. So I called customer service and the guy said he couldn't return them because I installed them. He said that if I wanted to return them I should have never installed them. How was I to know that I wanted to return them if I never installed them. Make no sense at all. If they would have done the job I never would want to return them. So I've been on hold now for over 5 minutes waiting to talk to his supervisor which will probably never pick up. I will never do business with this company again. Eventually they will go out of business because they won't have anybody to buy from them. By the way it's been over 15 minutes since I've been on hold.

I spoke with Latoya and I had explained to her about a item that I order was not the correct item, but Lotoya went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of, even to the point of giving me the correct item number for future reference.

I ordered some floor liners from CARiD that I never received. I informed them that FEDEX showed them delivered the day I notified them I didn't get them. Two weeks later and after numerous phone calls and EMails they still haven't provided me with a refund on an order I never received. This was confirmed by FEDEX as CARid somehow shipped to a different address then mine. I was told this morning CARid couldn't refund until they had had the claim satisfied by either the manufacturer or the carrier. I responded again today to them that the fact the manufacturer or carrier screwed up was not my problem and I wanted my refund no matter how long it took them to get their claim settled with whoever they want to blame. Fact is I never received the product I paid for and after dealing with these guys for two weeks and having them make promises that they've not done ( I was told last week I would have my refund by last Thursday and it didn't happen). Terrible company to do business with in my opinion. They screw up but hold your cash. No way to run a business and I will never do business with them again

I had ordered some headlights for my car. Then i figured out that those werent the ones i needed so i immediately called to cancel the order. That was friday 5-8-15. They told me it would be in my account in 2 days. I Checked my account on monday and no money was in my account. So i called customer service and they said that it wasnt confirmed so they would resend it and it would be in my account the next day. So i checked my account yesterday and it wasnt in there. Then i called my bank to see if they had even gotten anything from them and they said no. So i called back and they said just give it time. So i checked my account multiple times throughout the day. Nothing. So i called back today on 5-13-15 and talked to the rep who said my money has already been returned into my account. So i told him that it wasnt and he kept saying it was. So at this point im furious and asked to talk to a manager. The manager said that they have it on paper that they returned my money and theres nothing they will do. I am so pissed off and hope noone shops here again.

I ordered a headlight assembly for my truck at the recommendation of 2 sales people at car ID. I asked very plainly if the assembly was flug and play and they replied yes. Upon receiving my lights I took the assembly out of the Box and took the sticker off the hole where the light bulb goes in and then saw wires hanging on the assembly. This did not match what I ordered as I am not an electrician and this assembly required additional wiring which I cannot do so there was no need for me to install the assembly. I immediately called and told them that I was sent a unit that required wiring which I did not want after some battle they relented and issue and a return. Now after waiting for my refund I had to call for an update and was told the unit was install which is not true. There was no sense in me installing it since I was unable to do wiring. I am upset firstly because they sent me something that I did not want and they aren't being held accountable to that. Now I meeting at $350 purchaseBecause they say I install that which is not true! No one wants to help me. The picture just shows remnants of the sticker I pulled off, that's all I see. I don't know what damage I could have done pulling off a sticker? No one at cardi could give a you know what about what I tell them I feel like they are just reading from a book same thing over and over is being told to me. Go back listen to the phone calls they will find out I was misled but no they won't do that they have their money now. I will be seeking legal action

I ordered replacement lamps for the fog/driving lights on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The price wasn't bad (not great), but the package that the lamps were in was broken prior to it being packaged for shipping. The hard plastic case that the lamps are in was broken and the pieces of plastic that were missing were not inside the shipping envelope, thus proving that it was damaged prior to it being packaged for shipping. When I installed the lamps one did not work. When I tried to contact them about the problem, their 800 number forced me to a vacation/cruise survey, when I opted out of the survey, I was disconnected. When I called back I waited on hold listening to nonstop commercials. I then went to their website to review the return policy. I was expected to print a return label and not having a printer, I emailed their customer service dept. and was promised they would return contact in 24hrs, 2 days later still no response. I've gone to their website again looking for a link to write a review only to find that they do not have one. No wonder all of the reviews on their site are 5 star, they cherry pick what they post.
In summation, I wouldn't give these jack holes the time of day, never mind another order. I hope they get this same quality of service from their vendors, then maybe they will get the lesson of what customer service should be.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT GIVE THEM THE CHANCE TO RIP YOU OFF, BECAUSE THEY WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a mechanic and have grown up around cars, i ordered a Cat-Back exhaust system, and the downpipe+test pipe to go with it. Its been 2 weeks and i finally received my package today but it was only the second muffler piece of the exhaust. I called and spoke to a nice man and he said that he exhaust only came with the piece i received... i ordered a stated CAT-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM, which means i should have received the mid section pipe but he said no i shouldnt have and that Im going to have to pay to receive that piece. Than i didnt receive my downpipe+test pipe and he said after the website said they had 6 in stock when i ordered it that it was on backorder until March, are you kidding me Carid... out of anger i agreed to just accept the downpipe piece and they said i should receive my money back for the price difference. If i do not receive it i will be taking legal action towards this because Im am tired of getting ran around for weeks. So people DO NOT BUY FROM CARID EVER!

Can't get $800.00 Item even after 32 days!

Ordered Truck Side Rails from third party Carid! The Manufacure Mailed/Shipped 2 different times Each time UPS ( Brown) label the package as Damaged and it never made it out of City of Richmond, VA. I had to hunt down both Companies. UPS finally admitted its deception by a low level lazy employee! But NEVER HAS CARID reached out or communicated anything about my package investigate problem out of 10 phone calls all I got was verification of my e-mail from Forgieners TRYING TO SOUND LIKE THEY LIVE in the United States! NOT!... AFTER THIS 35 DAY FIGHT IM TOLD IT WILL BE 5 MORE DAYS TO GET $800.00 REFUND!... CARID doesn't care! Trust me!
