“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I have ordered from these guys twice and had pretty much the same experience both times. They took my money for a item that was "in stock" and I Waited well past a week for dispatch date that never happened. They never returned any of my calls and gave me the run around for two weeks for my refund. I finally had to call my credit card company to get assistance with the refund. This is simply a middle man for Direct Sales and designs and a few others so buy direct and avoid the scam. This was my worst online purchase ever!

I love CariD.com because it has the largest inventory that I have seen specific to my car. They have plenty of knowledgeable customer service representatives and are quick when calling. I worked with a customer service agent who helped me not only by answering my question with a concrete answer, but also helped me find more products that saved me time and gave me a discount on my order overall. I would highly recommend CariD.com to anyone that is looking to buy parts & accessories for their car and don't know where to go.

These website is terrible, they refused to accept blame for sending me a product that was already scratched and tried blaming me when I sent it back. They are horrible to deal with and customer service is sh*t. Don't even bother wasting your money on these scumbags.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid this site at all costs, their products are not truly measured and you will end up getting the wrong product and when you do try to return it they will have you waiting on the phone for 30 minutes. Not only that but they’ll give you so much sh*t just for wanting to return something that they’ll make you want to just hang up. That is their plan because they really don’t want to refund you anything tbh.

I ordered a $400 k&n intake from Car ID. I ordered this intake over two months ago. I was supposed to get it a week after ordering. When I call they say it isn't their fault and there is nothing they can do. They just told me it "could" ship in a month and a half. Their representatives are absolutely clueless and have no customer service skills. Will NEVER order from car id again (even though I have a gift card for them), and am telling everyone I know to do the same. Never, ever again. Will dispute charges with my bank.

Tip for consumers:
Order from the direct supplier. Car ID is an absolute joke. I would not even use them as a last resort

I ordered a carbon fiber hood. That plus shipping $980 When I receive it it was damage. I tried to return it but the customer service people flat out refused! I'm out almost $1000 and a damaged hood sitting in my room. These people do not take care of there customers. There sure fast at taking your money but once they have that, your nothing to them. These people are a fraud! I'm telling everyone reading this review. Buyer beware! Worst company ever. Spend your money somewhere else. Worst customer service ever!

We are extremely sorry to hear about the damaged merchandise and poor assistance provided in this regards.

Carbon fiber hoods are usually delivered via Freight Delivery, and it is always recommended to inspect the product upon its delivery to locate any damage. In case the damage is located, the delivery bill has to be signed "damaged". We on our end will initiate the damage claim with the shipping carrier and process replacement or full amount of refund upon the completion of the claim.

In the even when the damage was not located upon delivery, but afterwards - it is recommended to report the damage to the shipping carrier by asking them to sign the delivered merchandise as "damaged" in their system. This will help us to initiate the damage claim with the shipping carrier on our end and process a replacement or full amount of refund upon completion of the claim.

Annie is terrible, I have been waiting for a call back/ email back. My hood came in warped and the measurements were off. Sent pictures and everything needed and requested. She has been avoiding my calls/ emails for weeks now. When she did actually talk to me I received a run around. This company has the worst service I've seen. A simple refund is all I asked or full credit towards another hood. At this point, I just want my money back. This has been on going since early February.

Do not order from CariD. Go elsewhere. They take no responsibility for mistakes and do nothing to fix them. No return policy when they make a mistake. No one to talk to in customer support. Wait on hold for an hour to be either disconnected or told by some low-level employee there is nothing they can do. They will NOT transfer you to another level to help or service. They farm out a lot of their work to other vendors and there is no way to communicate to the actual vendor.
AVOID them... there are lots of other companies that will back up there work, and promises. Don't get stuck like I did with $500 worth of parts I don't need.

Verified purchase

Company refused to refund shipping ($135.00) despite order having never been delivered. I was not contacted about setting up a delivery appointment and the item was returned to the manufacturer without my knowledge. CarID never made any attempt to contact me by email to alert me about the delivery, instead they kept my money for a product that was not delivered. Only after I proactively contacted them to inquire about the status of my order did they discover that the phone number they had for me was incorrect. They offered to refund the item cost but refused to refund the shipping. No notice had ever been given that a deliver appointment was required. Very poor customer service experience.

The website itself has a lot of flaws--starting with the live support. Most of the questions I had regarding an order I placed were ignored and threw a prompt saying I needed to email them for support regarding orders. Once emailed, their responses varied from 6-24 hours. Most of which rarely responded to all of the questions I had asked, in one case completely ignored the questions to ask me about my order. Today marks the 5th day I've emailed them back and forth for a problem that should have been solved in less than 10 minutes--If their website actually functioned properly. It seems like all the functionality regarding cancelling orders or editing orders both don't work.

Next up is the shipping and processing time. So far, I've waited 3 days for the order to process, and received an eta of 9 (7 business) days before they even ship the order out. Even longer for the order to be delivered. Relative to eBay or Amazon which deliver in 3-4 days, seems unacceptable.

Purchased side view mirror covers from CARID. It took 2 months to receive and when I did they were for 2 different cars neither of which was for my car. When I tried to return the items they offered me a $10 coupon for my next purchase but would not take the items back because they were a few days past there 30 day return policy. In Canada we have what we call winter.

Do not use this site. No quality control.

I ordered a front bumper from CarID. After a couple weeks of not having any shipping updates, I finally emailed them. I got an email back saying someone would update me within 48 hours. 2 days later and no email back, but my package finally arrived. The box seemed beat up when I received it, so I opened it up to glance at it, but the delivery driver insisted I must sign the release paper to take and inspect the box, so I did. By the time I helped him carry it up my driveway, inspected it, and saw the mass amount of damage, the driver was gone. Not only was there damage that obviously happened in the shipping, but there are chips missing out of the carbon fiber bumper that were sloppily painted over to try to cover. The customer service supervisor was no help whatsoever, and didn't even have the right information about the shipping company. Now i have a $400 piece of trash sitting in my living room because they now won't accept a return

Misleading website that has false info.

*Ordered parts from them just so they can charge my credit card and tell me the product is not in stock, I would have to wait 4-5 weeks.*

*The website still lists the product to be in stock which is a complete joke that will mislead other customers to get their credit card charged... for nothing

Order elsewhere, not here.

I bought a Headlight assembly ( Lumen) that didn't fit. They make it as hard as they can to return anything hoping we'll just give up. First they wanted pictures. How do you take
A picture of something that doesn't fit? Then all this other info and documentation that they require like we're all liars. Who has time. Do yourself a favor and buy from someone else!

Tip for consumers:
Just hope it comes right, undamaged and fits properly. If you have to return or exchange it . . . . your trouble has just begun !

My experience was a good & easy one. I purchased some headlight & they were very helpful in finding me the exact type I wanted. I'm always a little hesitant about buying stuff online but they made it so simple and easy. I would purchase from them again & would gladly recommend to anyone!

I purchased a grille guard for nearly $450. It arrived damaged, which was not apparent from the packaging. CarID has refused to accept a return or allow a refund. I now have $450 worth of useless scrap iron.

This will be my 2nd time ordering. The 1st went well. This 2 pcs of the parts I ordered and paid for were not included in the delivery but were stated to be included. I have been trying to communicate via live chat but no clear response. I tried calling I keep getting VM that they are close on Wednesday 10 am CST...

Worst shopping experience ever. The people on the phone are rude and their customer service was the absolute worst. They are liars and did not do one thing they said they would. My issue could have so easily been resolved but instead they chose to lie to me and do nothing. Dont even consider doing business with CARid because you will regret it.

In current times where shipping cost are rare and minimal, I did not pay attention when I made a purchase of a plastic piece weighing a few ounces. The shipping cost was $140, About $136 more than it should have been. I was told a refund would take 3-5 days. It's day 13 and I'm still waiting.

Any of the reviews that say the CARiD service was good. Are not REAL. Call the CARiD support number and select cancel your order or help with an order that already shipped, make note of the time you called. Then come back here and post how long you waited on hold. I called 4 times and is was 20 minutes each time. I still do not have my order from 03/08. Looks to me like lots of fake poster here paid by CARiD to falsely promote them.

Received faulty part. Part looked used and the box it came in was held together by scotch tape. Requested exchange, took 2 days to get a response. They wanted a reason for the return, I already gave them a reason on the online form i filled out. I Responded back, now they're ignoring me. I wasted $103.00.

Ordered a couple of oil drain plug gaskets, which should probably cost 50 cents to ship, but was charged $23.00 for shipping, and was not aware of the shipping charges, until my card was actually ran. The web page gives you an option to cancel order, but when you click to do so, nothing happens. This site is a scam.
