The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
I ordered some tail lights and put the wrong shipping address, they quickly helped me fix the problem!

I ordered an Exhaust Header a week and a half ago. I was provided shipping details and it was supposed to be delivered in Colorado by Friday. ON Friday, it was delivered to the incorrect adress in New Jersey. When I called a representative from customer service on Friday, I was told that they would ship the part directly from their warehouse the next day and I would be provided with shipping details that day. Days passed and it was Monday, no shipping details, no updates, no anything. I called and was told that they were very sorry and they would ship it that day from their warehouse. I let time pass and there were no updates. I called Thursday and I was told that they weren't going to ship it from there warehouse until the original package that was messed up arrived at it from the incorrect address. I called today to try to get a refund, but they told me that the package had arrived at their warehouse and was now on the way to me, even though I wasn't provided with new shipping details, and the old ones were not updated. I paid $35 for shipping and it has gotten incredibly messed up. I will never order from this company again and wish they would let me return it for full price and for the insanely high shipping cost.
Our last purchase was for an Acura wheel. The rep that I spoke to(Luis) was very knowledgeable. We will continue to use CARiD.

I ordered a camera and opened it and installed it. After I completed the installation it would not work. I tried multiple workarounds work around by changing RCA jacks checking checking to make sure I had current back at the camera. After about 30 minutes of doing all of this I came to the conclusion that it was not working. I called them immediately and told them it wasn't working and I would like to return it. The customer service person person told me after she talked to a Tech that I needed to do a video of it not working. I had already disassembled everything and put it back in the box when I called CS. I didn't ask for a supervisor but was told that the supervisor on duty was busy checking emails and emails and they took my phone number and told me that I would get a call back That was approximately 930 this morning at quarter to 6 this evening this evening I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor again they did find one. My situation and supervisor told me that I would have to pay for shipping plus a $5 resacking fee SD and I wondered why I had to pay all these fees when the unit did not work from the start. And this person told me that I would only get a refund if it was in resailable condition when I returned it. Told her how can it be resailable condition when it doesn't work seems like they were given me the double talk treatment trying to confuse me. Told them not to worry about it I've wasted more money than that and got a return I'm not gonna cry over $40 seems like they needed the money more than I did and then I told them that they lost their customer

Before buying something from CarID check other suppliers. My backup camera was manufactured by Pyle and Carid was one of their distributors so I went on the Web and found another distributor.

Literally these people suck. I ordered a aftermarket bumper for my C63 AMG and a month later when they said it supposed to arrive I received an email questioning whether or not I had a C63 or a regular c class are you kidding. If I order something for a specific vehicle, it should be for that vehicle. Then they werent contacting the manufacturer to correct it, they buffered on billing to them delaying it more and then would turn around and lie to me about shipping information and updates. Then when I would contact the manufacturer they would say we havent heard from them in days etc. well fast forward ANOTHER MONTH AND ITS THE WRONG PART AND DOESNT FIT CAUSE THE MANUFACTURER $#*!ED UP. NONE OF THE MOUNTING POINTS ADD UP AND THEY ARE REFUSING FROM GIVING ME MY MONEY BACK. HELLO ATTORNEY GENERAL AND BBB, I hate CARiD with a passion.
