“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Carid is very helpful in getting replacements when products get damaged in the mail. I had a damaged window channel and they are replacing it

When ordering from car ID, it was simple, returns are simple. Getting a return label within 24 hours isn't as simple, I am still waiting.

I recently placed an order for a UVS100 Sunshade for my Lexus LS460, but due to an error on my part I didn't notify CARID of the rearview camera on my windshield. Unfortunately my order was cancelled and I am receiving a full refund to my account, but Alison made sure that I was notified that the order was cancelled and that my account was being refunded.
Alison was very prompt in informing me about the situation and I was very impressed that she actually informed me so quickly. Although I didn't get what I wanted from CARID, because of the service Alison gave me I am sure I will be back to purchase items from this company and I will inform my friends and family about CARID.

I've ordered body kit for $1800 and the antena for $100.
The body kit arrived broken and i've tried to solve this problem with the carid.com but they said it was DHL's fault so i had to wait for the respond.
I waited a month and after a few emails i stopped trying to get the replace and had to keep the kit with broken parts in it.
I brought this kit to the place where they fix those kind of things and install them.
The total for the fixing was $400 plus the installation $500 because the kit wasn't exact size! I don't know what matrix do they use but the quality was aweful and the kit has whole between parts.so the fenders could have perfect fit at bottom and like an inch of space at the top so i was super dissapointed.
With the kit i've got the antena flipper. I was surprised when it didn't fit the top as it suppose to. I've tried to contact carid.com but the customer service is the worst thing ever so i just gave up calling to those scams.
My advice to people: NEVER buy kits from carid.com because the quality is aweful and the material is a fiberglass which is super fragile! Its not a plastic its a glass and its very fragile! Don't trust to the video on youtube showing the best quality and how durable it is because the shown product isn't actual carid.com product and its a specially made product which is durable.the real carid.com kits are super fragile and they can be broken even by a newborn baby. I wish i could get a refund from this nightmare company called carid.com!

I am on hold on my third call today as I type this review. Placed order on 2 May, expected delivery 8 May. On 8 May expected delivery 16 May. On 16 May expected delivery 22 May. On 22 May expected delivery 28 May. On 28 May expected delivery 4 Jun. My first call today resulted in the Tele dude giving me a UPS tracking number assuring me it had shipped out... blahblahblah. I looked up the tracking number, which just so happened to have been created electronically 4 minutes before I logged in to check the shipping status.
OK, just spoke to someone. Apparently it "always" works this way with UPS. "I should see tracking movement tomorrow". Oddly enough, I had made no mention of canceling my order, YET, before the young lady over the phone, very sternly, advised me that I could not cancel my order because a UPS tracking number had already been provided to me. HAHA, this is why I buy online with American Express. They are ruthless!

Like most of you, I was drawn to the awesomely professional site and I failed to do my research on the site before buying. Shame on me.

Do these five star reviews really look legit? Just to update, i still have the box of lights that i purchased it's been a year, which means i never did get a return slip from the company. Looking over the reviews, they seem to be either 1 or 5, and it is sickening how obvious it is to me that the 5's are either the company or paid reviewers.
I recently ordered 2 sets of replacement lights to upgrade my 88 ford head lights. The site said they were direct fitment/ replacement. They looked very nice and solid in the photo. I ordered them and received them fairly quickly. Then, I attempted to install them. Upon opening the box and removing them I discovered a cheap plug with wires in the box with the cheap looking replacement. I was going give them a try. I proceeded to get my stock sealed lights out and immediately new these would no way fit and on top of that, the stock plug was wrong, I was expected to cut into my lighting harness and splice in not just a plug but a poorly designed plug that barely held together as it was. I emailed for the return but the only options offered are replace or exchange. I had to hit one wait for a response and then explain I wanted to return the items. The company makes me pay shipping again, OK I'm fine with that but they also want a restock fee for each item. I haven't received the return shipping label yet and not sure I ever will I paid 60+ for these items delivered and will maybe get back 25 after I pay the shipping and restock. I might just use the parts as target practice since that is what they seem to be good for. Like I said don't buy online form carid. Go into a local auto retailer.

Was told I had 2 year warranty on part. After 6 months part fails. I call to get warranty and am denied. Worst online business. Buyer beware

Looking for nothing more than new floor mats, dealer wants $350.00... website has the whole set for half that. SO, as advertised on their website, I do a chat and ask for color samples. They tell me to email another address - which I did - included ALL COLORS AND EVEN THE COLOR NUMBERS FROM THE SITE! Sent the email early... didn't get a reply until the next day and was asked for a "link"... to their own website? Whatever, I pulled the items I wanted back up - which involves identifying the YEAR/MAKE/MODEL of your car - and sent them a link to their own website... again, didn't receive a reply until the NEXT day. This time they said they needed the YEAR/MAKE/MODEL of the car... what? It was CLEARLY SPELLED IN THE LINK sent BACK to them of their own website... UGH. So, still hoping their product is nice, replied and said it's in the link you wanted and highlighted the car info. AGAIN, another whole day gone, don't get a reply until the following day saying OK, you can order color samples for $10.00... REALLY - after 4 attempts and 4 days requesting nothing more than a color sample and you want a credit card... NOT!

The most flagrant dishonesty I have experienced with an online seller.

My car was not passing inspection due to an old faulty cat converter and O2 sensors. Called Car Id and said my sticker was expiring and needed parts asap before my sticker expired.

Sales agent name "Douglas" promised overnight delivery for a Catalytic converter they didn't even have in stock?!?. After UPS told me they never received anything from Car ID, I called the parts manufacturer myself when I sensed something fishy was going on. I was then told the part wouldn't be available for a while as it still needed to be manufactured!

After calling "Douglas" back; he apologized and then upsold me to a more expensive Catalytic converter which would now be "overnighted" to me. AGAIN. Same thing happens with no delivery. After THREE HOURS of repeat calls and holds with Car ID I am informed that SURPRISE! The part never shipped because...

It was on backorder.

My inspection sticker has expired. I have ordered the same parts from somewhere else, and have had no problems.

I bought a Leer SR250 rolling tonneau cover for my 2018 Sierra 2500 HD and installed it exactly according to the instructions that came with it, AND the Leer installation video on CARiD's website. The cover is just too short. CARiD's customer service was next to useless, and their final remedy was to give me a $30 refund (on a $355 tonneau cover) Leer's customer service wasn't much better, assuring me that after the cover sat in the sun for a few days it would be fine. Tonneau cover installation isn't rocket science, and in fact, it's a very easy installation. I have made every possible adjustment and no matter what Leer says, this cover is just too short. I'm giving two stars instead of one because if this cover was the right length it would be a good, quality cover. I submitted two different negative reviews (I toned the second one down) but CARiD won't post either of them on their website. I am VERY disappointed in both of these companies, and probably won't buy anything from either of them again.

Placed an order for a carbon fiber interior kit ONLY after the customer service representative ASSURED me the order would arrive to my door within 5-7 days - plenty of time to have it installed before my scheduled car show. The following day, I received an email stating the order was scheduled to ship 11 days later and would arrive to my door the day of the car show. I immediately called to cancel the order and understand, I placed my order at 2:30 AM and called to cancel the following day at 12:00 PM, but was told they would rush the product and have it to me no later than 24 Jan 2011. I emailed/called carID numerous times to no avail regarding trying to track the process of my order. Yesterday, 24 Jan 2011, I receive another email stating 'your order has shipped and is expected to arrive 27 Jan 2011 - again, the day of the car show. Having ordered this product specifically for the car show, I have no use for it now and based on previous reviews, I'll assume the BBB and my credit card company will have to get involved in order for me to get a refund. Regardless of product, if a company does business like this, stay away. I wish I would have read the 'other' reviews instead of the ones on their web site.

Needed parts for my car spent hours lookn in websites foe ORILEYS. ADVANCE NAPA couldnt belive watt they were chargi g for 2 cv axles 2 lower ball joints and a master cylindet. Plus they did not have in stock all the parts i needed. I talked to danny the parts i needed he had for 1/2 the cost

A nightmare of an experience. I ordered rims and tires from them for Tacoma. I verified with them that they would fit and were the correct size. They finally arrive and one of my rims has a nice sized scratch on them. I have reached out to customer service multiple times, but there has been no reply. When I went to put the tires on, they sent they wrong sized tire bolts that no one in my area has or has the ability to order. They also didn't tell me that the sensors weren't included in the tires. I'm an amateur with cars, and it was scary to make this big of a purchase to turn out not working ever. This company is making me regret doing something like this. I HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY! Everyone is telling me to try and sell what they gave you and just purchase what you want from TireRack. I'm waiting on customer service to help me out, but they got their money and they don't want nothing to do with me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I know you read reviews, and think only people who have something bad to say write reviews, but I write reviews when people do a great job as well.

Sept 25.part ordered. "in stock" and "same day delivery guaranteed"... cancelled order by phone 2 hours later and was accepted.
2 days later emailed that "cannot cancel because item already shipped."
Sept 27 phonecall to get refund... was told item shipped today and will receive on 28th. Once recieved i can return for refund with labels they will email that day. All will take 3 -5 business day.
Oct 2... still no refund, no return labels, AND no item recieved.
Called (35 min). Was told again it would take 48 business hours to process snd them 3-5 business days to get a refund. Finally got a manger. She told me the item had to be shipped to them in new jersey because the supplier doesn't ship to canada. IF the item hasn't been shipped to me yet she could issue an immediate refund (which i still need to wait on with my credit card). ALL THIS FOR AN ITEM THAT WAS IN STICK AND GUARANTEED SAME DAY AND CANCELLED WITH APPROVAL TWO HOURS LATER. After more conflict, she finally agreed to process a refund.

And so i wait... for my $144.00 canadian. Oh... i failed to mention... i found same part at an AUDI dealer for 50.00 canadian and installed it that nite.
