“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Lied about shipping being free as advertised with excuse only to certain zip codes. Reduced price and lied about competitors prices.

All I will say is never will I buy from these thieves again and that is what they are carid thiefs should be able to rate then zero stars

I ordered wheels and tires over 2 months ago. After 1 month, I received the wrong order and had to have multiple conversations with them about correcting the order (CarID wanted me to take the wheels to a wheel shop and pay for swapping out the wrong parts, and then submit a receipt to them so they could DECIDE if they would reimburse me)! Really?! After several more conversations, they finally "made an exception" to have them shipped back to their warehouse so that they could correct the order (which took them another a month to fix and ship back).

After waiting another month to have them fixed and returned, I noticed that 2 of the "new" tires were actually significantly aged (nearly 6 years old) and the other 2 tires were 3.5 years old (so essentially unusable since my car manufacturer warns against using tires that are beyond 6 years for safety concerns). CarIDs response was that they would only change 2 of them out (even though they would only have limited use) and their own "tire expert" also advises against it (CarIDs "tire expert" published an article on aged tires on their website advising against buying "new" tires that are aged beyond 1 year)!

After having several more conversations with people who really don't know what they are doing, I contacted VISA and we called them together so that they could verify this nonsense and they agreed to refund me and filed to dispute payment! Absolutely ridiculous!

So I still have the 4 wheels and old tires at my house, waiting for CarID send me shipping labels so that they can be returned (it's been over 2 weeks and I still don't have them).

In the meantime, I ordered the same set of tires from Tire Rack and I received them in 3 days (that were manufactured less than 6 months ago), with a free 2 year road hazard warranty, that were pre-registered, and a form to receive and $60 mail-in rebate. Now that's customer service!

If you are thinking about buying wheels/tires for CarID, I advise you to steer clear from them. They are absolutely horrible and by far the worst company I have ever experienced.

MY ORDER #******* I order a part on April 11 2017 paid for a next day shipping service and today is April 18 2017 i haven't receive the package i call a few times have to wait more than 30 minutes on hold every time i call to receive only lies after lies they told me that the package ship out that is on the hand of a ups location i call ups and they told me that they don't have any package delivered by CARID with the tracking number i provided or under my name or address the other lie was that ups lost the commercial invoice to justified why i haven't receive the package the other lie was that the package did not ship out because they have to verify my method of payment and i use my visa and is the same visa i use to do purchases in other websites and i never had this problem of payment verification they told me that as a diversion to justified why the package has not left the warehouse of CARID bad customer service and irresponsible with customers
DON'T BUY FROM THIS SITE STAY AWAY VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL THE WAY THEY DO BUSINESS

We ordered a new set of rims with lug nuts for my wife's car. The wheels arrived in 4 days. Great service I think to myself, The lug nuts were missing. These wheels need these lug nuts. Called customer service several times a day for 3 days now and still no idea where the lug nut are or what's happening. In the meantime I have a car here with no wheels on it and a set of new wheels and tires that I'm unable to fit because I don't have the lug nuts and fitting kit. The first person I talked to at CariD asked me to spell out what I was missing in the order because she had no idea what a lug nut was... hmm Every time I call I get the same reply, "call back tomorrow" I have spoken to the "supervisor in charge" (Leah) after being fobbed off by here I asked for the manager, Her reply was "I am the manager, there is nobody here higher position than me". I have now found out that the Sales Director of CariD is a man called Alex De Souza, The owner and founder of the company is Steven Royzenshteyn. If you look these guys up you can find them and how to send them email etc etc. Guess what I have just done. It may make no difference at all, but is made me feel better. If these guys don't care about the business they run or own then maybe someone should take them down. There seems to be enough people like me that feel they have been conned etc that we could make a class action lawsuit against them. If your reading this CariD people my order number is *******. All I want is the parts I ordered so I can fit the new wheels you sold me. Simple! I will of course be talking to the BBB and if enough people get together we could take this further to prevent this kind of thing happening to anybody else.

Iron Cross Endeavor running boards were awesome and manufacturer (Iron Cross) provided EXCELENT customer service. CARiD completely failed in post-sales support.

During installation, I noticed a small plastic piece was broken. The CSR at CARiD first blamed me for not making a claim against UPS (not a shipping issue), and then blamed me for trying to install part (didn't notice it was broken until I was trying to install). After wasting my time with CARiD's customer service, I notified manufacturer who IMMEDIATELY responded that part will be shipped to me. That's all CARiD had to do - contact manufacturer like I did.

Took 3 emails and almost a week before the CSR at CARiD even asked about the problem and asked for pictures. By then, I had already resolved it myself through Iron Cross' excellent customer service. Why wasn't the first response from CARiD something like "Please send pictures so we understand the problem, and then we'll work with the manufacturer to help resolve it"? Rather, he took the easy way out by trying to blame me and UPS.

Such a simple problem to solve... and CARiD did NOTHING to help.

Absolutely the worst customer support I have ever experienced. I've purchased from Realtruck.com before and strongly recommend them over CARiD.

Tip for consumers:
I recommend using another supplier like Realtruck.com. The 5 stars above are for the manufacturer, not CARiD.

I'd give them 0 stars! I purchased an AirLift system from Carid in Aug just prior to departing for a cross country journey pulling a new RV. Initial sale easy, pleasant. Was shipped O'nite FedEx as I explained I was on a tight schedule. Had professionally installed at Ram dealer on a brand new truck. 1800mi into trip the airbag burst collapsing the rear end... limped 40mi to Billings MT. I don't blame them for the part failure but I do blame them for their failure since. It has been more than 2weeks I've been stranded trying to get a replacement part. I cannot safely pull the rig without. Week one... told back n forth that I had to send the defective part back first. Explained this isn't possible because I need the new part installed at the same time defective is removed. Also explained I'm stranded. After a week of arguing they finally relent, place a hold on my CC for a second Airlift kit until defective one is returned. I ask for overnight shipping. I've had to R/S installation TWICE becuz they sent it UPS Ground... it STILL has not arrived over 2wks later! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARID! They only care about the initial sale and getting your $$. I will be keeping the second kit for spare parts (paying twice) just so I will not have to deal with them again.
BUYER BEWARE! STAY AWAY!

They will tell you, and charge you for next day air, but send it ground. Then they will say yes we made a mistake, but not refund the shipping.

I ordered a muffler for my Nissan Altima. Getting the part was prompt however the muffler was not as it was described in description or photograph. The photo on CARID's website showed a muffler IDENTICAL to my muffler however what I got was different. The intake was on the opposite side as mine and what their photo showed.
I sent email regarding my muffler and that I wanted to return it for a refund. Their response was to send photos of car's VIN and the part and then they would get back to me. After about 6 weeks or so of checking in with them and telling them I want to return the muffler for a refund (never got a response) I finally got a response politely saying I "was out of the return period" and could not return the product.
My experience was frustrating, frankly, I was really pissed off. I usually don't write bad reviews but this needed to be said.
I was ripped off by CARID and I will never do business with them! In the event I order a car part online I will go thru Amazon or Rock Auto. Amazon is much easier to deal with on returns. That's why their so big. If something is wrong I can get it rectified. As far as this poorly run company, I am done with wasting my time getting this resolved.
The big takeaway from my review for anyone who is considering purchasing a part is DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM CARID! I WOULD NOT EVEN BUY AN AIR FRESHNER FROM CARID! CARID SUCKS!

Tip for consumers:
CARID is a total ripoff. If something is not right you are out of luck and you are stuck with a useless part!!
