The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
Called customer service for help and Carlos was spot on... very quick service and received great floor mats for my jeep... very satisfied.

The shipping fees are defined by the shipping carrier and cannot be affected by CARiD. The shipping cost is reflected on our website at the checkout stage, after the shipping address and zip code information is filled out.
Cancellation is a two step process and requires confirmation on the manufacturer's end in order to avoid any further complications. As the normal turnaround time for cancellation is 3-5 business days, we are unable to guarantee cancellation if the product's shipping date is set on the same day or the following one as sometimes products are shipped faster than expected. I thought I was gonna waist my time because I didn't know a whole lot about this company,... but it was worth my time.
I should have looked at reviews before ordering from this website; in hindsight, there really is no reason to order from CarID. Their prices are not competitive, they do not offer a rewards program and they charge a lot of money for shipping.
I ordered an exhaust manifold kit with exhaust manifold hardware. The description on their website was completely off, it turns out the manufacturer has never produced an exhaust manifold for my vehicle model.
They asked for photos of the product received, photos of my cars vin number, photos of the manuals, and after submitting them I never received a confirmation email saying they were received. I had to call in and start the return process over again with a CSR over the phone.
They took the two exhaust manifolds back no charge (probably because they are going after the manufacturer for a refund) but insisted I pay a $13 return fee for the hardware, and on top of that I would not receive a refund for the $25 it cost to ship them to me.
I had to argue with them, that I would have never navigated to Carid JUST for the hardware and that without the exhaust manifolds this hardware is useless. The root issue is the erroneous information displayed on CARIDs website that caused me to place the entire order.
They fought tooth and nail to avoid full responsibility, stating that the website for the hardware says it is for the correct vehicle.
I'm pretty sure CARid is a middle man, basically a webstore with no physical inventory of their own. They negotiate sales and probably take a % for profit but the items ship from the manufacturers warehouse or some other distro depot. This is why they fight your returns and force you to eat as much of the cost as possible. Do business with a traditional company, not an e-based webstore looking to make a buck of off other peoples labor.
Long story short, I don't have the correct parts, I'm out $25 and 3 hours of my life for even trying to order from Carid!

Hidden charges and fees to return items.
You will not be refunded shipping costs, even if the item was ordered based on an erroneous description on their website.
You will have to do 300% more work to return items here vs other retailers (phone calls, emails, chat, photographs). They even request photos of the Vin numbers on your vehicle for a return.
