“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I've placed two orders with CARid - both times they sent incorrect parts. I'm not talking about parts that I incorrectly selected that resulted in a fitment problem. I'm talking about CARid either sending something other than what I ordered or sending something with incorrect parts in a correctly marked box. The first one was a hitch ball that I waited over a week to get an RMA for. Still don't have a refund to my credit card. The second one was a component of a very expensive Weight Distribution Hitch that was wrong (even though it was in a box marked with the correct PN) and incompatible with the other parts of the hitch system. I called the mfg this morning and they had me take some measurements - they verified it was the wrong part and also told me this is not the first time they've heard from a CARid customer with this problem. I called CARid and spent a good part of the morning trying to explain the problem. Of course they have to have photo evidence of the problem, ask a bunch of questions about my tow vehicle (which has nothing to do with it), can't send me a new part without charging my credit card (again!) unless I wait through the entire RMA process (again!) after which they may or may not send the proper part (perhaps a couple weeks from now?), can't get a supervisor to pick up after extensive waiting on hold (someone with the authority to actually handle a customer problem or make a simple decision). So I send pictures and explanation about what's wrong with the parts they sent me, and now I'm waiting on the RMA crap so I can package all this stuff up and get it back to a shipper and wait to see if they'll process the refund. It's been over 2 weeks since I started trying to get parts from them and I still can't tow my trailer. Can you believe they refused to escalate this issue and get the proper part sent to me today? I can't. My recommendation is shop somewhere else, save yourself the trouble. Forget lower prices - they're probably going send you the wrong thing anyway and then make it all YOU'RE problem to resolve! Never again...

I have found the order, and see the returned items arrived at the warehouse only yesterday, therefore the refund will be processed today - within 24 business hours after the item is returned to the warehouse. As for the wrong items in the package, agree with you, extremely frustrated, and one of the agents offered to process a replacement without the authorization, however, you asked for a refund instead. Please let us know, which resolution do you prefer.

I ordered a set of Shift Spring Chrome wheels on 04/28/20 (Order #*******), which were on back order because the item is not in stock, and I paid in full with my debit card and was told that it would be about a month to a month in a half before it shipped, but I would receive a tracking number etc. On 05/05/20 at 1:47 pm, I called to cancel my order because I decided to leave my newly purchased car the way that it is. The first person that I talked with asked me why I wanted to cancel my order and then I can tell that he is reading some written spiel about he is not authorized to cancel the order and that I would have to be referred to a wheel specialist. He told me he was going to place me on hold for about 5 mins while he checked into something. He supposedly took my info, and told me that someone would be contacting me the next day.
Today, 05/06/20 at 9:00 am I called and talked with another rep who again asked me why I wanted to cancel my order, read off this same spiel as the guy from the day before, told me he was gonna place me on hold for 5 mins while he checked my order, then he comes back on line and tells me that I have to go on hold for another 5 mins, then places me in touch with a woman who places me on hold and then she finally tells me that it should take 24-48 hrs to "Process" my "Request" for a refund, so keep checking my email. This is after she acknowledged that my product is on a long back order. I asked her why I had to go through all these changes just to simply cancel my order and get my refund and she said that was the way they do business. *I write fraud cases every week at work in my law enforcement field and this whole business reeks of a scam. I even told the lady that I feel like I'm being scammed because it doesn't make any sense that it is harder to cancel my order than it was to make it. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB. Please avoid this business at all cost! I should not have to give a reason as to why I want to cancel my order when it is simply that I decided that I didn't not want or need the product anymore.

I ordered a duraflex ******* for my 2008 Charger SRT 8 from another seller, it didn't fit. I messaged CARiD and explained everything and they told me they would check with the manufacture to verify fitment, 2 days later told me it would. I got the bumper about a week later and it didn't fit either. Messaged them again and they sent me through their scripted bs and how they would have to verify I was eligible for a return. Didn't want to wait so ordered another bumper from them, Sherman 173-87-1, that they guaranteed to fit and said it was SRT8, in the pictures it looks SRT8. Ordered it and about another week later got the part, it fit but was wrong, it is the v6 regular charger bumper. My car was in the shop for about 6 weeks waiting for a front bumper so I put the v6 bumper on to get my car back and CARiD had no interest in fixing any problem since I painted and installed the last bumper. The part I ordered was $668 the one they sent is $78 on their site but because I painted and installed it they said they couldn't do anything. Charged me srt8 price and gave me base v6. GARBAGE SELLER!

I went onto their site because they had managed to get a site search engine to show them as having the best prices for PowerStop brake parts. I went to their site and purchased what they claimed was the best brake kit for my vehicle, and spent over $850.00 by PayPal. For some reason, that feeling of being taken, I used another search engine and it showed other sites offering higher quality kits, for much lower prices. I called CARiD within 2 hrs of the order on a Friday evening to cancel, and was given a cancellation number and was assured I would receive a refund within 24-48 hrs. After multiple phone calls, being lied to on each occasion, I was forced to file a "not received" complaint with PayPal, as that was the only option PayPal afforded me. CARiD.com gave them a UPS tracking number so that PayPal would close the dispute. When I checked the tracking number at UPS, the shipment was to another buyer, not to me. I had to appeal the PayPal decision, and now I am in a fight with CARiD about return shipping charges to return the order I cancelled and they never delivered to me. Check national online stores and SiteJabber before ever buying online. Go to BBB.org before you ever buy online. When a online seller floods the internet with pop-ups and pays search engines to list them first, there is something wrong. CARiD.com is just a bad business that hopes you will not fight back when they try to cheat you. The rule is, "if it sounds to good to be true", go somewhere else! CARiD.com only needs you to buy once, customer service is trained to lie, they will cheat you any way they can because they know you are only a one-time buyer and you will never come back.

I bought a set of four new rims and BFGoodrich Tires's from CARID.COM. They were supposed to be balanced. They did have weights on them with a peice of tape over each rim. Put them on my sons car and the car now vibrates at high speed. Took it to Whiteys tire shop in Brooklyn and they could not balance the tires. Carid.com either messed up the install or the tires were defective. I took it to Mavis another tire place and they verified the four tires could not be balanced. The rubber was bad and I needed new tires they said. I called BFGOODRICH and they WILL NOT WARRANTY THERE TIRES BOUGHT FROM CARID. IT's been a nightmare dealing with Jon Jesus and Pricilla who have been representing CARID.COM. Car cannot be driven because I don't want to mess up the suspension. THEY HAVE ME RUNNING AROUND TRYING DIFFERENT PLACES TO GET THEM BALANCED AT MY EXPENSE. Jon did not tell me I would not be fully reimbursed for his requests. He is ignoring the warranty issue all together.
BUYER BEWARE! CARID.COM DOES NOT TELL YOU BUYING FROM THEM VOIDS THE BFGoodrich MANUFACTURER WARRANTY!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t Buy tires and expensive products from CARID.COM. My car now cannot be driven safely due to either there bad install or defective Tires’s.

Products used:
Unable to use Tires. Rims are good but three shops say rubber is defective. First I was dealing with a pricilla then passed onto Carid rep Jon Jesus just gives you the run around. Cost me money going too different mechanic shops. All NYS Certified shops. They have poor customer service. Then the guy always responds at 5-6 pm as if people don’t know about those tactics!!

I ordered a Blue Ox Goose Neck hitch through Carid. When I got it I didn't open the box for about a week until I was ready to install it. It came in two separate boxes. One box had the correct parts. The other box had a tow bar for a Volkswagen. I was installing the hitch on a Ford Super Duty. I called them right away. Was told they would investigate the situation and email me back within 3 days. Nothing for a week. I called again. They told me the investigation was not finished yet. Waited a week and called again. Was told I would get an e mail in 24-48 hrs. Never got it. Called again. Was told I would get another email in 24-48 hrs again. They emailed me wanting pictures of the missing parts. I took pictures of the part numbers of the parts I was missing from the parts list that was in box one that had half of the right parts. The then wanted pictures of the wrong parts that I got. They then told me the parts in need were on back order. I call the manufacturer of the hitch. They looked it up and said no one had the parts I was missing ordered and that they had several of those hitches in stock. After about 5 weeks I called the credit card company of the credit card I used and explained the situation to them. The credit card company credited me back the full amount of $485 that included tax and shipping. Said they would send Carid a letter saying I was disputing the charges because I did not receive my full order. In 3-4 days Carid sent UPS to my door for the packages. I sent them back and they never emailed or called after that. I wouldn't buy anything through them again. I wouldn't be so unhappy with them if they would at least have asked for the wrong parts back and then ship the correct parts when they got the wrong ones back. I know mistakes happen. But all I got was run around. And when I called customer service I always seem to get someone who I could hardly understand because they seemed to be from a different country.

I ordered a trailer hitch for a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Limited with the wiring kit more than a month ago and still have not received the correct item. The first wiring kit that they sent is clearly marked on the package that it is for a Jeep GRAND Cherokee 2011 TO 2017. I called and after 42 minutes of awful music and dumb comments, I was told that a replacement would be shipped ASAP and the return label would be emailed to me. After more than a week I had not received anything and called again. Again I was told that the correct part was on the way but when I received it 2 days later, Again it was the wrong part. This time they sent me a wiring kit for a Jeep GRAND Cherokee 2011 to 2018. After many calls and after many more minutes of awful music and announcements, I was put in touch with their "Expert Consumer Rep" who assured me that he would resolve everything. He assured me that I would receive the correct part within 2 days and I would receive the return instructions via Email within 24 hours. One week later, I received yet another incorrect part, this time the wiring kit for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. I still have not received the return instructions/labels for the return of the incorrect parts. I called again and left a detailed message for the "Expert" and a day later he sent me a message stating that the 3rd part sent is the correct part even though the package states otherwise. He also stated that the return instructions had already been sent to my Email address. It has been over a month since I started this ordeal and I have yet to receive even one Email from Carid and I have repeated the correct Email address to 4 different customer service reps. I have now had to turn it over to my VISA card company to dispute the charges made to my card. In all the years of ordering items online, this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. It feels as if they are purposely delaying a refund so as to hold onto my money and collect interest. I can not imaging why a company as big as Carid hires the most incompetent customer service reps and don't understand how they can stay in business.

Tip for consumers:
Absolutely read some of the reviews online. I never did this and could have saved myself many hours of wasted time and a lot of money.

Products used:
I used the trailer hitch sent but still have not received the correct wiring kit. Therefore, the trailer hitch is not useable since I cant use it without lights.

Ordered rims and tires end of November and was told they would ship them within 5 business days and Would receive them within a week. Next day got a estimated shipping date TWO weeks after I ordered my wheels. Called and was told that is the worst case scenario and would most likely ship within a week. One week passed, called them and was told by their representative(super annoying to talk to) that it will ship on the date I was given. Asked to cancel my order and get a refund but was told that my order was a CUSTOM order and they CANNOT give me a refund even though it hasn't been shipped yet. This is pretty much a scam... They said it was a custom order because they are drilling the lug pattern specifically for my vehicle, so does that mean every wheel order is a custom order? 4 weeks later my wheels FINALLY shipped. Couldn't drive my car for a whole month because of my bad tires and how long they took to SCAM me. STAY AWAY! DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS TROUBLE THIKING IT CAN SAVE YOU A COUPLE DOLLARS!

Internal service at Carid is good, have a comment on their UPS shipping, UPS service from USA to Kelowna, BC Canada has a rating of about -5 on a scale of 0 to 5

Tip for consumers:
Do not use UPS services.Terrible service.

Products used:
UPS is so poor in their delivery times,can't get a straight answer from UPS,have not rece'd the product yet.Very angry.Carid should consider a different carrier. Good chance I will not re-order because of poor service by UPS,no need for this nonsense .
