“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Don't let the impressive website and catchy "on hold recordings" fool you. These people do not care about the customer. Instead of getting a refund, Carlos (supervisor), suggested that it would be best if I just dispute the charges on my credit card.

They said the tires were in stock, and would ship following day. Three days later, I called and was told they would be dropped shipped from Manufacture. I wanted to Cancel order, but he said it would take five days to cancel. They charged my card before they even shipped the product.

Customer Service Employee Luis say no problem when I said I would write a bad review! Got to love an Customer Service rep that does not give a Sh...

We purchased a hitch for our camper. Being new to camping we had a lot of questions. Chad took tell time to explain everything and make sure we understood. The shipping was extremely fast. Will always go back for future needs.

I ordered 2 basic steel wheels for a Fiesta. The ad seemed to say I would have them within three days of ordering. Today is day four and the rep on Chat tells me that they will let me know within 72 hours that my order has shipped. The price was only worthwhile in exchange for promptness and convenience. I am getting neither. I was offered a $15 dollar gift certificate for my inconvenience, after declaring that I would not do business here again. That serves as a measure of how well the robot is listening.

While canceling, the automated message told me that if I complained about the message I would have to listen to the message longer. The supposedly live human told me that it will take 3 to 5 business days to get an EMAIL acknowledging my request to cancel and refund the order.

I really fell into this trap. I will not do business here again.

Tip for consumers:
They don't have the products that they sell. They are a broker of sorts.

I ordered some wheels with a "guaranteed fit" for my car from CARID at the end of December, and unfortunately it took a month for my tires to arrive. When the tires came in and they finally tried to install them, they sat up against my brake calipers, damaging them. Seeing this, the tire company showed CARID and they send a spacer while the Tire Company replaced the front wheels. After the spacer arrived, they still did not fit and now they refuse to take a refund even with the brand new unused rims that the tire company supplied out of good faith! They reference a ridiculous small print buried on their website stating that once the wheels have been mounted, they are non returnable. Well then what is the point of having a fitment guarantee? Scammy company with terrible business practices.

Nothing I can recommend but to stay far away from this company.

I ordered some new headlights for my 2012 RAM 1500. They arrived on time and looked great. Raquel in customer service helped me find new bulbs because I didn't realize the lenses were tinted. They are too dark for me to drive at night so I have requested an exchange and it is already processed. Very pleased with the customer service and overall positive friendly people that have helped me with my orders.

This company is pathetic, if you buy something it will be way over priced. If you pay for overnight it won't get sent on time, they will then tell you to wait 24-48hrs while they figure it out. You could get a refund but they'll take weeks on that. I'd never tell anyone to shop here even if I didn't like them. They even guaranteed shipping an have my money yet they can't hold up to their end of the bargain. They'll even update shipping on days the delivery service are closed for the holiday, had they used usps they could of sent it out same day delivery.

Purchased power side steps and retractable tonneau cover for a new truck. $3000 worth of parts. Both break completely within 3 months of owning with zero abuse. Less than 2000 miles driven. Basically at the end of 4 WEEKS of emailing back and forth, told that I can attempt to mail them the parts back and POSSIBLY get a replacement part. Shipping back? Over $400 due to size and weight. They DO NOT stand behind any products they sell!

I ordered a radiator and was told that it would be shipped within 3 days. A week, after being on hold for 19 minutes and 36 seconds, I was told that I would have to more(on hold as I am writing this) to get a refund. The person I placed the order with had lots of attitude. When on hold, it actually says that " you are in hold to show how much we appreciate you". One of the worst on line companies I have ever dealt with. Stay away. This company has no interest whatsoever in the consumer experience. None.

I placed an order, and it didn't look like what the picture looked like when I received it... and without question... just a few pictures to prove my point of view, CARiD customer service took care of the problem immediately. I received a return shipping label from the manufacturer of the product in two days, sent back the product I received for a store credit, and was then given the ability to place another replacement order. Great response time, accurate information and for stating my mind, they provided me with an additional gift certificate for my trouble. What more can you ask for "Automotive Support" for my 2016 Corvette Stingray

Finally get the part, and wonder of wonders; Surprise! IT'S DAMAGED. Wading through the same garbage to get a replacement or refund, and of course they are still holding my money. Of course they will offer to buy you off for revising your review here, so someone must have at least a minute amount of conscience.

Don't use CARiD.com for anything

Didn't use any as part showed up damaged. Managed to fall back on my old sheet metal working skills and beat the part straight enough to fit. Fortunately, it is on the underside of the car, so it can be ugly as long as it is functional.

Even though we do not pack the parts on our own, the shipment docs at the warehouses are equipped with all the proper tools and material packaging, as well as all packages pass final quality control prior to being given to the carrier. Unfortunately, even such measures cannot be 100% guarantee of safe delivery due to possible complication in transit.

From what i see, as it was agreed, we will be issuing you compensation for the damage that was caused to the product.

Worst place for getting car parts

Worst place I have ever dealt with for getting parts. Order was made on Feb 22nd, was showing up as processed for shipping on Feb 23rd. On Mar 2, finally told it is supposed to ship on Mar 3, but no guarantee of it. Next time I will go with going to the dealer, waiting the 2 days to get it. So it will cost me in this case 20 dollars less than the dealer, save a 35 mile each way drive to pick it up in exchange for waiting 10 days and counting. Not worth the aggravation. From the looks of other stories people are telling me, it will be a good chance of getting the wrong or damaged part and then a struggle to get refund or replacement.

Update, chester has not replied, i was offered 15 dollars and a 25 dollar gift certificate if I kept my part and revised this review. Take that for what it is worth. Again, I CANT REPEAT ENOUGH; THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS; ripoffs and runarounds is all they excel at.

Don't bother, go elsewhere. Check the BBB and see the record they have BEFORE ordering.

This company takes their sweet time on handling issues with their customers. I have been trying for a month now to get a refund on some defective window visors I purchased and still am in the process of trying to receive my money back. On top of that issue, every time I call their customer service line it takes about 45 minutes each call! This company is no good. Definitely would no recommend to anyone.

Tip for consumers:
expect waiting a long time for orders to come in. You better hope nothing is wrong with the item or else it will be a pain i the butt to handle.

I was promised a full refund including shipping for returning a defective product but that didn't happen. I wrote a review and the company Car ID contacted me via e mail. They investigated the case and I did receive the shipping in my bank account very promptly. This changes the way I feel about them and will do business with them in the future. I have (3) vehicles and 90% of my after market products came from carid. I have ordered dash covers, sun screens, mirror covers, chrome siding, splash guards, mud flaps, floor mats, you name it i bought it from carid.if i had anymore places to put stuff i would order from carid. When i called to clarify an item they took my order right over the phone and gave me 10% discount right then and there.

The worse, pathetic business ever heard of. Ordered an item, they sent the wrong one after waiting 6 weeks. Now they're charging me another $200.00 for me to return the item, even though it was not my fault, and tried to scam another $50.00 for a difference of price when the two products were the exact same price, just fit for different cars.

Kelvin, the customer service rep that was helping me with my purchase was great. He made sure the rims and tires would fit my vehicle, and that all necessary parts were included in my order. The shipping cost was a little high, but honestly it's 4 rims and tires, how much does that weigh? Anyway, I'm going to bring more business their way.

I have ordered a number of items from these guys. The last item I ordered was shipped to me but they forgot to attach an invoice to it so it was returned to them and it took 14 days of constant badgering on my part to try and get them to reship the item to me with NO success! I finally cancelled the order and I tried several times to speak to someone on the phone which is near impossible. They refer you to their live chat so called customer care specialists that don't know $#*! from clay! I would not deal with these ever again. Very frustrating!

CARiD was the only website that carries the parts needed for an older vehicle I own & at the checkout section the shipping rate increased from $7.00 to $17.00 & did not know why until I reached out to them by phone and one of their representatives helped me out & was able to do some research/modifications on my order which changed my shipping charge back to $7.00.

What kind of warranty requires me to send video of my problem to the response that yes it's broken but you'll need to destroy the broken part and take pics before we can send a new one to you. It's a HEADLIGHT! How am I supposed to go to work at 4 am for 4 or 5 days until I get a single new headlight? The headlight portion works but the turn signal had burned out bulbs. This is a special kind of stupid. Don't waste your time or money on these rip offs. Making it impossible to get a warranty is a joke.

I ordered a quarter panel that was delivered damaged. Customer service said they had two more in stock and will replace it. Well, after waiting 7 months to get it and being promised a new replacement was on its way, now I received an email that I will have to wait another two months. They sold the other two. One of which I was promised. Total bull$#*!. Read the reviews because this business has no business ethics

I have been trying to return the wrong item ordered for two weeks and they keep emailing me "your item does not come with a camera" do you want to exchange or refund. FIVE TIMES a different person emails me the same thing. They are dragging it out so it will go past the 30 days and they won't have to refund me my money. I cannot get anyone on the phone put on hold for hours.

After waiting I decided to just out of pocket a new bedside for my truck. They suck and need to be put out of business. They only want to give credit and not a refund for there inferior ghetto cheaply built crap.My truck now is fixed but I am out the 500 dollars I spent. I hope these clowns get run out of business THEY SUCK! Still never got any credit for the money I wasted on inferior crap they sent me. Please do not buy anything from these rip off scammers!

Ordered tool boxes waited weeks to receive them for my work truck both of them damaged called customer service had to file a claim and wait for fedex who delivered them to come pick them up taking 3 to 5 business days and inspect before they would give me a refund so basically if u buy here be prepared to wait a month plus to receive junk and get ur money back plus whatever ur bank takes to refund customer service said it is what it is my fault for buying them wouldn't recommend this site nothing but a hassle and a dead investment

I recently purchased 2 calipers for my "98 Buick Century. When comparing prices, I noticed that the other sites were about the same price and mostly more, but they did not include the bracket and slide pins. Obviously, CarID had the best value. Free Shipping was a bonus!
I had to contact CarID because there was a core charge for the calipers and I was concerned that the return postage was going to negate any savings. Monica asked for my Zip Code and the part #'s for the calipers and she updated my cart to include the $9.95 for 2 shipping return labels for the core. When you consider 1 caliper bracket goes for $9.95 and the other sites charged as much for shipping each way, I still got a good value. This is not my first purchase from CarID, nor will it be my last. Thank you for providing discount auto parts.
