The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
I was in need of a fuel pump for 2006 Corvette and I could not find anyone with it in stock or any availability that could have it to by the weekend. Carlos at CarID went all out in making sure they had it and that it would be to me when I needed it. He even made several phone calls and called me back to let me know it was done. That definitely secured my business with them in the future
You have NO VALUE with this company due to the way their phone people speak to you. I tried to get some questions answered about purchasing some items and the snotty woman knew nothing! Not only that she eventually hung up on me because she was incapable of providing answers. I spend my money where I an treated nicely and values as a customer and this isn't the place. I see so many negative reviews and all the company does is keep APOLOGIZING? How does that help anyone? I would like to know. They have no idea how to treat customers properly at Carid.

Placed an order on 8/1, still ongoing because not only were the wrong items shipped but for the wrong quoted price. Even though I have spoken to someone almost every day since, it is still ongoing, frustrated today and refused to accept any other items because the email today that they were going to ship items was also wrong. Too many wrongs and I have to go to a more trusted site. Steer clear.
I had the most excellent customer service and they have amazing car items on their website. Completely happy with my purchase of over $800 in car items. I will definitely go to car ID before I shop anywhere else.
These products are top of the line, and anytime Ive had an issue there is a real person who answers and they take the headache out of returns with fast prepaid shipping labels and notifications emails along the way.
I called about a wheel hub bearing assembly and Gustavo helped me in a matter of minutes and put in my order over the phone. Saved me some precious time and headache! Can't say much more, love this site.
I ordered a thru-hull for our boat and received a defective part. Reordered a replacement part and CARiD never sent me the replacement part nor refund as of May. I've received the same communication each time I emailed them and still no refund. Spoken to management to receive the same response. They will take your money and send you junk.

Mike and the whole team at CarID are great. Really good web interface for customers to find what they are looking for, smooth ordering process and question/answer capability with rep if needed. Very speedy response to questions and issues.
Bought some trim parts & they were cut wrong. Send them back & expected a refund & sent them back the way it was requested. I packed them with foam ends & even put bubble wrap and was told the product was damaged. These pieces are perfectly flat so there is no way they were damaged. Just a word to the wise, buy it Somewhere else. Look at the reviews, something I didn't do.

Running boards arrived damaged. I get one run around after the other from Carid. Lie after lie. I don't think they are ever going to honor their end of replacing the product or refunding my money. They sent me a damaged product and stole 400.00 dollars from me. Do not purchase one thing from this company. I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and leave a review of the lousy service every where I can.

Posted a bad review a few days ago and CARis.com contacted us. Said we would have shipping label and info today. Been trying to return items and they will not send shipping. Instead all they do is keep sending email asking are we sure we want to return the items. My goodness! How many times do we have to ask for a return label? Horrible!... horrible customer service! I'd rate them a Zero if I could!

Customer service answered my call right away... there was no issue on getting the info I needed about my parts delivery because they already had the info on their computer due to my cell phone number let then know what parts I ordered from them

Bought 4 rims from them for my 2013 Toyota Avalon. They said rims would fit without any modifications and my TPS sensors could be re-used. Well, had to buy 4 new TPS sensors at the tire installer and then after tires and rims were installed, car had a vibration at speeds over 60 MPH. Customer service after the sale was horrible, and then they gave me the wrong advice. Had to call the rim manufacturer to get the right answer and order hub rings to stop the vibration. Would not use them again... Horrible shopping experience - and - RIMS are not returnable even if never out of the box - they consider them custom orders. Use another vendor.

I ordered a clutch kit for my honda... opened the box and it had the wrong pressure plate. They apologize sent me a return label and ship a new one fast... other site have you wait at least 6 days before they ship back to you... keep up the good work and I'll be back...
Products are generally good except for whenever you are working with dealing with warranty and defections which ends up a infinity loop of circles to go through to return, replace and will not allow you refund if the product is inferior due to the inner wiring.

I placed an order for rims and tire package on Feb. 28,2019. As of today, I still have not received my order, and have received several conflicting stories from their staff making up excuses. This is by far the worst company I have done business with.

I had ordered an item and it did not fit, made a phone call and 2 days later I received my return tags. Just as I was told, so far so good. Alice was very professional and was quick into resolving my issue, contacting the manufacturer of this product to verify whether it would fit or not. Thank you Alice for all that you did.
Purchased a pair of new replacement headlights for my car. Took a week to get. Arrived and looked great until I tried to install. Pieces broke off while trying to install bulb. Called customer service and I got anything but customer service. I had to send pictures of the damaged part and picture of my vin number and still they stated I had to wait 24 to 48 hour for approval of their defective part. And you will never get to speak with a manager or supervisor. Avoid by purchasing anything from this company. Been 2 days and I still have broke lights.

Overall a smooth buying experience with a lot of choice.
The wrong items was shipped but they have been quick and responsive for the return and shipping out the correct products.
Great customer service from Sergio who stayed with me on the phone to make sure I received everything I needed to correct the mistake.
I would recommend staying away from doing business with this company. They don't stand behind the products they sell. They give you the runaround abd ask you to do things that just don't make any common sense. Buyer beware is all I can say. Find a more reputable company to deal with.

I am a returning customer for the third time just on wheels n tires... fred lutz took care of me last go around n did the same this time as well. He is mainly the reason i returned n its nice knowing u can talk to the same voice for each transaction
This is thus far the best parts web site on line. I have not been disappointed not even one time since I have ordered from them at least 5 times. They are no#1 in customer service. They have a variety of parts you can choose from. The prices are pretty much reasonable.
The only thing this company has going for it is that it has a flashy website. Horrible customer service, waited almost a week for my parts to ship (that were in stock) only to discover there was an "issue with the supplier." NEVER buying anything from this company ever again. I've already placed and received an order from PartsTrain in the time it has taken to go through this ordeal, with their horrible customer service. I am on hold trying to cancel my order, if they give me the runaround and tell me that I cannot return the parts, I will gladly drive to their office in NJ and leave them on the front doorstep. All $400 worth and write it off as a tax donation to the mentally insane.
