“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

1- It is now more than 3 weeks now instead of "5 days" promised and the part has not been received yet!
2- Extra/Hidden fees (about $120) were not mentioned in the invoice at the time of order!
3- Irresponsible Customers Service!

To be fair they do make you sign a doc saying you accept delivery of panels. I got a hood from them but I was out of town when it arrived so I had warehouse guy check and sign. When I saw it was totally disappointed, there was a crease in it, two dents. I painted and just installed it, hood does not line up well so I am going to have to know the sides down to make it look better. When i complained they said we don't check them. Sent me a $25 voucher.

Due to peculiarities of the damage claim, the box and the part inside must be inspected upon delivery and signed as damaged if any harm is located. This is the only way for us to submit the damage claim with the shipping carrier and proceed with either refund or replacement for you with no questions asked. Promised orders not fulfilled.
Put on hold forever, then being cut off.
Product not delivered anywhere near the promised date.
Being blamed for the problem.
No follow-up phone call or email as promised.
Employee's lying about product shipment.
Different employees saying different things.

Order headlight paying $200 more than other sites. Took over 1 week to received the headlights then after paying someone to install them noticed one light was defective. I spent a whole week back and forth with them to send me a new one. After a week they emailed me the papers to return the defected light. Then after two weeks they haven't sent me $#*! all they say is they're still working on my replacement. All CARID sells can be found cheaper and free shipping at other sites.

I have placed 2 orders with CARiD and have had 2 problems. The first order they never ever sent out any shipping confirmation so I never knew it was en route. My package sat at the post office for 5 days before I by chance went to check the mail and saw my package, just a couple of days before the post office would've returned it to sender.
Now with my latest order they want to increase my shipping charges an additional $11 AFTER my order is placed and confirmed! A company cannot change the total of your order after it's been confirmed. Totally unprofessional and underhanded. If this is how they operate I won't be ordering from them again!

Appears carid is selling used parts... inside of product... muffler chrome extension for a 2012 patriot... was black with what appeared to be a black residue... like exhaust carbon residue from a muffler... I took pictures and sent to carid... they said they would call company and correct... I tried to return it... they came back and said it did not meet the manufacturers warranty?... if you can believe it... the product was supposed to be new in a sealed box... this box was re- taped / sealed... they offered to give me a $10 credit... but it is the principle of the matter... I basically had to keep it after 4 emails complaining about their process/ service... I gave up put it on the car... the main point... the part was used!

Tip for consumers:

Carid sent me doors that thier Web site said would fit. Doors were for another model. Trying to get doors returned is a nightmare. 5 days working and doors still here and no refund. Customer service is terrible, on hold for long times and no consideration for customer time and frustration. Shop somewhere else. Trust me! Would give them a zero if I could!

Luis was the most helpful person I encountered in my search for a new set of wheels. I contacted more than 10 sites and no one else would either help or care enough to find just the right set. I know he went to work and called many different manufactures to find what I wanted. I had a specific type and size I wanted due to a big brake kit, and sure enough he came through, and and the right price. I can't say enough good things about them!

Save your time and money - do not bother ordering anything from this company. The ordering part is easy - call them, they answer immediately and you place your order. Days/weeks later you call to check on your order and you will be on hold for HOURS. You email them - no one will respond. The worst customer service in the world. When I placed my order I was informed that my items were in stock. One month later and I still have not received anything. I called almost daily to find out about my order and after being on hold for hours, every customer service rep I spoke to informed me that the items would ship "in 48 hours" - I was told this almost daily! I even emailed them and would you believe - no response! Again, do not waste your time or money with them.

This company is dishonest and has the worst customer service that I have ever seen I would highly recommend that you do not buy anything from this company. I would give a lower rating but you can't go lower than no stars, I am now a month behind on my repairs because of them.

I'll get right to it. CarID sent me three correct wheels and one wrong wheel for my Toyota Tundra. It was previously used and 100% wrong for my truck. I wasted time and money going to the wheel/tire installing place multiple times after CarID assured me the wheel was
The right one. They didn't care about the damaged part. The box had A spark plug in it and it scratch the wheel up very badly. The wheel itself had also been previously installed before I got it and damage was obvious. They would not send me a new wheel. They insisted that I pay for a new wheel and Ship the other one back for a refund. I did so and it took four calls for them to ever actually pick up the wheel. Now they are saying the wheel was never picked up even though they gave me a tracking number at pick up. This place has no intentions of honoring their return policy or refunding any money. The horror stories you've read all across the Internet about CarID are true, and they are thieves, liars, and incompetent.

They have no idea what they are doing... I suspect they are not even in the US. At any rate they have no understanding of customer service of what to do. I ordered lights for a screw up they made, was charged overnight shipping. The order did not arrive, called back, each time at 20-30 minutes of crap. First one only wanted to credit me $15 for the $37 original charge and the damn thing had not even shipped! Only a label was created so this means the original person I dealt with didn't know it would be shipped from the manufacturer and could't possibly be sent overnight. Never again. This is what we get when they sub work out to people who have no understanding of how things work in our country.

Order asm bumper for my s2000, came in damage. I reached out to them for a refund so i can buy new bumper. They gave me the run around and over me 25$ refunded and 25$ gift card. And they even have the nerves to asked for my vin# to my car saying they need proof i own one. Smh they so disrespectful. First and last time purchased from this company. Buyer be aware horrible company abd customers service. Look at the detached pics horrible, blaming me that i broke the bumper.

Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your hard earring money with this b.s website and company.

Purchased wheel tire set on the site with the assistance of the sales person Rodrigo prior to finalizing the purchase two weeks later set arrived and they are the wrong ones! I contacted customer service and now I am doing this song and dance. I sent the information (measurements) which they should already have and silence. I requested to speak to a manager and never heard a company that does not have management deal with customers!? Manager did reach out a few day via email with BS which I was not having. I have dealt with the following people there Nim Mojello and the so called manager named Erica who pretty much is useless as well. I hope the way that these incompetent clowns all loose there jobs and this company folds. Don't buy a anything from a disaster of a company and useless people!

Bought wheels they said would fit, they double checked with template. They don't fit, They made me go out jack up my car take a wheel off and take a picture or I could not get a Return Label. Tire Kingdom a national tire chain wrote on the slip they didn't fit. They still said no. This crap still going on been 6 weeks.

Ordered a toolbox for my truck, box arrived as if it came through a war zone (can't blame them for that) however it was scratched, missing paint, and had a bend in the back of the lid allowing for snow and rain to enter the box. Company refused to replace the unit. I wish i could do zero stars.

CariD is very quick and easy, they have it all to when it comes to your car their IM service is the way to go, they will point you in the right direction every time, shipping is fast, i was looking for a window regulator and got a response in less than 5 min... would recommend CariD to anyone!

I ordered a set of wheel and tires from them. It took 2 weeks for them to ship them out and another week for me to get them. So, 3 weeks in all. Also shipping cost was way to expensive. When I put them on my truck, they looked really good but as I got up to 60 mph my truck started to shake. I took the wheels and tires to discount tire to have them look at it and they said that the tires where not balanced. When i bought them they said the tires would be balanced. I had to pay more money to get the balanced and now they work great. I will never, ever buy from this company again. Too many problems with them. When I looked at other places on the internet they had free shipping and it would have been shipped out within 2 to 3 days. Customer service did everything they could but if you have to wait 3 weeks to get wheels and tires you might as well find some place near you and get them there.

I bought 2 shock assemblies and first time was my fault, trash labeling so instead of buying the left and the right i bought 2 lefts. So i dealt with the week long wait for my corrected part and received it with weather damage to the rubber seals and it did not fit my car. Its been 3 weeks now since the issue first came up. Now im on a waiting list for them to "contact" the manufacturer.

I saw all the negative reviews after ordering two sets of car seat covers for two different cars and feared the worst. A day later I realized I had ordered the wrong covers for one of the cars. I contacted their customer support and spoke to someone named Seth. After discovering the manufacturer didn’t sell the correct covers, Seth offered to call them and see if the covers could be special ordered. A day later he called back, said they could not be special ordered, and promptly refunded my money. The other covers, which were 20% less expensive than anywhere else I could find, came on time and were as ordered. I don’t doubt the other reviews, but my experience was really quite positive.

I purchased amp steps and it was missing a light. Everytime i try to get that one little part that probably costs $3 when i just purchased $1600 steps, they always give me a hard time. Its been one headache after the next with them.

Careful people, I wish I read the "real" reviews before I bought from this company. I agree with what most people are saying, terrible customer service - I honestly feel that what they sold me were seconds, poor quality APC Mesh Grilles for Pontiac Solstice. You would think that both sides would match but that was not the case. Unfortunately I installed them and then immediately removed them because they look stupidly wrong. Although they were only mounted for 5 minutes with no sign of installing them, because I sent a picture of them installed they would not do anything to allow an exchange, even if I bought another grille set and returned the defective grille with the unopened hardware bag.

Don't waste your time with this company, read the reviews from real people (not the reviews on their site) and get the real story.
