“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Absolutely terrible website. Should've learned my lesson when they shipped my older brother a pair of broken cheap Canadian tire brand headlight bulbs when he paid for more expensive bulbs and was insanely mislead. They took 42 days to arrive to his house. I ordered a 3rd brake light for my truck, a simple little piece of plastic. It's has already been over a month since I've ordered, trying to get through to someone to see where the hell my package is and all I keep getting is "we are looking into it" and "please allow 24-48 hours for a reply" and that has been two weeks now. 24-48 hours to them must mean DAYS not hours. Sick of it. Demanded a full refund and haven't gotten a reply.

This place is the most incompetent place to do business as there is: American Greed" Why would they send 1600. 00 worth of brand new American racing AR 910 but not send the most crucial parts tire pressure monitors that were ordered and paid for at time of wheel purchase. Wheels could ot be installed until I purchase another set of monitors from installer for 200.00 Wasn't my fault you rip off artist

I Ordered rims (full set) checked with rep many times about fitment. Received wheels about 10 days later. The front 2 rims are the wrong size. When I called the rep said the bolt pattern fits your car, the size is your problem. The manager was also very calm but refused to help with an exchange or refund. The wait to speak to a customer service rep was 22 minutes! Then another 16 minutes before the manager came on the phone. Anyway I am stuck with wrong product, paid over 1000 and have to sell them for far less, if i am lucky someone will buy them from me. What a bunch of theives! STAY AWAY Please...

I order front and back brake assemblies they were delayed in delivery due to the carid csr incorrectly addressing the billing address then they mis addressed the parts. After all that and driving to the mechanics shop (400 miles away) the front assemblies, selected by the csr operator, did not fit. Carid stated they were the correct ones, a call to the manufacturer stated they were not and would not fit at all. After numerous calls to carid and 6 different off shore csr operators they all promised a quick return and refund. So far going on 2 weeks and each csr operator states they have no clue to what the others have stated and one actually sent a incomplete e mail referencing another e mail they never sent. Carid has over $2000. 00 of mine they appear to not want to return.
Be very Leary of doing any business with these people

Ordered my wheels and tires a over a month ago with a ship date of 08/13 with a lift kit and air bags (from another logistics company but thats a whole other story) to coincide with the very little time i had off work, my shipping date along with my extra rime have come and gone and cant even get a status update on my order.
I called customer servive and after waiting om hold for an hour ( my entire lunch break)was told they would send me an email with tracking numbers, it has been 2 days and still no email.
Their knowledge of Automotive parts is decent but customer service is lacking

I bought in-channel window gaurds, when im told things should fit or its a custom exact fit nothing should be bowing out or one end bigger than other. Customers service is a joke. Told them product doesn't fit, they 5 support members want to argue thats its the correct part. I have about 10 emails hoing back and forth sent my vin they argued it was the wrong vin, sent a pic of the vin still wrong until i said check your work. O sorry. Just dont buy from them avoid if all possible.

I ordered the HVAC blower motor for my truck on June 21. As you can see in the picture, their website claimed the item was "In stock - Ships in 24 to 48 hrs." On June 22 my credit card was charged $129.44 for the item. On June 23 CARID notified me the item was on backorder and would not be available until July 28! They apologized if it caused any inconvenience. Inconvenience? How about the fact that it is hotter than hell, my air conditioning is not working, and now they want me to wait until the end of July for the part! Horrible, inexcusable, and flat out false advertising. They take your money knowing they do not have the item in stock in hopes that you will accept the delay. This company needs to be investigated.

I ordered a cold air intake for my truck. They sent me a used item that was missing parts as well. Tried to send it back, what a nightmare. The package got conveniently discarded per the reciever and now my CC company will not honor my dispute. NEVER again and beware people of CARid!

Set of visors which came damage waiting on new ones (arrived in about 10 days). Helper shocks never arrived, keep getting run around canceled order after almost a month. Ordered from another company had it in 4 days.

Nightmare scenario! Spent $900 on auto glass. When I received it, it was completely crushed. They refused to even consider responsiblity, because of procedural mistakes, on my part. The packaging was a joke. 2 windshields shipped together, with a 10" x 10" piece of foam between them. Use these criminals at your own risk!

Due to peculiarities of the damage claim, the box and the part inside must be inspected upon delivery and signed as damaged if any harm is located. This is the only way for us to submit the damage claim with the shipping carrier and proceed with either refund or replacement for you with no questions asked. The information about freight delivery is also shown during the order processing as pop up disclaimer. If this condition is not met, we can no longer process a damage claim with the shipping carrier. Such a claim would be denied since there is no way to validate if the damage was caused in transit or during installation.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They are money hungry and will take your money. Don't bother ordering from them. They are over priced and product looks like crap. Also they made my seat covers the WRONG size and they won't exchange them or do anything! So now I have seat covers and no headrest covers since they got the measurements wrong and it doesn't even fit! They don't even care to fix their own mistakes. I could have gotten a much better product for the same price or cheaper and it would have actually fit. I will definitely spread the word not to use your company!

Did a live chat before ordering and they said they have in stock and 2 days after sent an email saying discontinued, now they said I need to wait 48 hrs to process refund and up to 5 days for my bank to give me my money back, everyone knows that doesn't take that long, they took my money right away and I'm going to wait for them to play with my hard worked money

Looked at several sites looking for a replacement passenger side mirror for a Chevy Silverado 3500. Price at CARiD was 40-70 dollars cheaper, they communicated with me to ensure we had the correct product, and it arrived 2-4 days earlier than expected. Dealership wanted almost $550.00 dollars more. Very satisfied with my order and will be buying more in the future.

Do not buy anything from this company. I ordered a trunk bed liner and tailgate liner from this company. The shipping was $99. The liners arrived with zero packaging at all and paperwork such as an invoice. The freight shipper just dropped it off in my driveway. The bed liner was good and I installed it in my truck but the tailgate liner was much to small. I have been trying to get wrong part returned and replaced since mid July. I have sent five communications to them and they have given promises of replacement but no action. They are awful to work with and they do not do what they say they will. I believe they are no intention to correct the problem.

My experience was a nightmare... could not get clear answers to my order, which I placed February 22,2022... I attempted to order a set of wheels that I believe they didn't have in-stock... I received the accessories by March 3,2022... however my wheels never could track them was told March 5th, then March 17 and when I called to find out where they were no clear answers except they are coming from Canada... but because there was no tracking number I already knew no action was happening so fed up I ask for a refund on March 17th and today March 28th my nightmare seems to be ending... still waiting on my refund... this taught me to leave it amazon... Walmart or ebay... never again... they really need to learn about up and above service to the customer... clear honest communication with their customers

Purchased wheel and tires based on their drop down menu / website. When the wheels and tires arrived, they were too wide, I spoke with customer service; was told no refunds or exchanges possible.

Their website states:
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange on products in new/unused condition within 30 days of delivery. More details on - https://www.carid.com/help-center/product-return.html

However, if you actually request an RMA / refund or exchange they will tell you that all items are 'Non-Returnable'.

I regret you have had such an experience with the items. It is not quite honest of you to give only a piece of the policy. If you continue to read only two lines below what you have quoted, you would see this:

"The few exceptions for items that cannot be returned include:

Items Marked "Non-Returnable" (clearly indicated on the product page before placing your order)
Personalized Items (custom engraved, embroidered or painted)
Custom Wheels & Tires Packages"

Let's return to the product page of the wheels, which you have ordered to see the sign "non-returnable" there. Nevertheless, I am sure we can work some solution out, if you could share your order number with me.

Bad service put on hold for long times.
Order set of 4 break kit. Front and rear rotor and pads. Received only the rear kit. CarID claimed online price error. Before purchase the price was confirmed by sale Rep. Also the order was placed by sale Rep.
Do not trust their pricing because you don't know if you will get what you order!

I have been unable to get my order processed despite making a transfer directly to the bank account for CARiD after paypal and card purchases failed. Very stressful and cumbersome experience so far. Still unresolved very dissapointed

I am customer here since 2013. My last visit was for buying new leather mats to replace on my 13' Jaguar XJ. Bryan was the guy who helped me sort out the best options available and as a holiday perk, I received promotional discount (who wouldn't like one)

Purchase a dash kit didn't fit correctly and they won't do anything about it. I did install it thinking after ask the pieces was on it would look right well wrong. 40,000 dollar car now looks like crap on the inside! This review won't give me and options to post pictures so everyone can see there crappie product and it took a month to get it! Don't order save your money!

They have done so much for me. My first purchase, unfortunately, had the wrong items however they dealt with it professionally and compensated me a small amount for my trouble. I don't expect this happens often, and I have made a couple large purchases since with high hopes! I will always come back to shop with them for my car accessories and parts!

I place a sizeable order with them based on in stock items. They we're glad to take my $600,3 weeks later, no parts, I called them multiple times, runaround excuses, backordered everything but one item. I cancelled everything then they say it can take another 10 days to refund. Horrible horrible customer service, communication etc. Don't waste your time and money with these clowns

Received two items in beat up, heavily taped over boxes that looked it had been shipped multiple times with lots of missing parts. Sent photos and asked for refund. To date I have 16 emails from them saying the shipment will be picked up. Been sitting on my porch for over a week. They won't refund until UPS approves the claim. UPS will not accept responsibility because it wasn't shipped in a shipping box. I think they buy salvaged junk, then resell it, collect claims from the shipper and keep the customers money. FRAUD! Doing a chargeback on my card.

I've dealt with some shady company's while customizing my 2006 Eclipse. The only company I feel safe with is CARID. Never had a issue with them and shipments always came in a timely manner. I was surprise to see so many negative comments.

Order was placed on 8/19/16 and was informed the items(5x8 fan mats) would be shipped on 8/23/16. Receiving no communication that items had been shipped I called customer service on 8/29/16 and was told they would not be shipped until 8/30/16. Needless to say I am not holding my breath the items will ever be received since now the date of shipping is one week later than originally indicated. I have made an initial contact with our state's attorney general better business bureau, in the event I must take further action.
