“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I was looking for an exact item and had to reach out to customer service. She was fast, helpful, and even let me know of a current promotion that I was able to apply to that very order. This was my 1st experience & purchase with CariD and it won't be the last.

Bought wheels and tires back in July for a restoration project that was in pieces at the time. This past Friday 3/2/18 we unwrapped the wheels and found out they dont fit. Carid will not help me. I never used the wheels/tires. Thats terrible customer service. Now I have to shell out more money to get parts for my 1985 Toyota Hilux... thanks a bunch!

Ana was very pleasant to deal with. She talked me through the two different items as if she were a mechanic! (Sort of) I am and didn't feel as if she was overstating any facts or knowledge of the parts we were researching. She listened to me and responded accordingly. Rare for a "Jersey Girl"! The exhaust valve came the next day! I'm sure the gasket kit will be here soon. ( I hope I didn't just jinx it!) I also hope dealing with me was as uplifting as me with her. Thank you

This carid.com is a joke. I purchased a dash out that turned into 3 kits I had to purchase and there is still an area that needs to covered and they can't because the kit doesn't exist. I was told that I could ha one custom made. This after I already spent $460 with them and each time I was told the entire dash would be covered. Run from this place and go anywhere else.

I was attempting to order a specific part for a Gen 2 Ford Raptor. This part will only fit the Raptor. It's made specifically for the Raptor. Tried to place it in cart but it forces you to select your vehicle first for fitment. Ok. But how do you do that when the Raptor is not a choice in their list? Finally I bypass that and place order. I then engage in their chat function to alert the. To the issue, that Raptor needs to be added. The rep proceeds to insist it won't fit when she has zero clue what a Raptor is. Then rudely cuts off the chat session after I asked for a colleague or supervisor who was more knowledgeable.

They may have good products with very high shipping costs, but their service is poor.

I had a great experience ordering from CarID.
My salesperson Kristy J. Was as friendly and helpful as any service rep that I've ever dealt with (:
My order came quickly, with no issues. And that was on top of getting my ball joint over 70$ cheaper than any other competitor- even after applying some pretty nice coupons I'd been saving, for my former go to retailer.
I've got a new Favorite website for ordering my car parts!

I ordered an item (Nissan starter) and expected delivery within 5 days as promised. I had to make several phone calls that involved being put on hold for long periods. After 10 days it turned out the item was on backorder and had never shipped. The customer service rep. Tried to sell me a substitute at twice the price. I ended up cancelling the order and got it from DB Electrical with excellent results.

Order front and rear brake EBC kits. Have been told that both kits in stock at the time of order, got first kit within 4 days and the second kit a week later (two day shipping was offered when placed order). Upon arrival of second kit, noticed missing parts. Calling to carid customer service and been on waiting for an almost an hour. Totally unacceptable. Avoid this company, get your car parts somewhere else.

I bought a set of expensive floor mats for my vehicle. When they arrived, the fit was off and the color was terrible. When I called to return, I was told these were a no return item, though this was never indicated on the website. In fact, their "easy return" policy was highly touted. So I sent several messages on their website- about my order- and they refuse to reply or even acknowledge my complaints.

Tip for consumers:
Do not deal with them. I have dealt with a lot of online sellers- and this is the first one I have complained about.

William was a huge help considering I could find my local bank on affirm for financing. He directed to to PayPal credit even though I didn't get approved my b boyfriend did so I was still able to get my rims and tires. Without him being extremely helpful I wouldn't of gotten them. Also they have an answer for just about every question you ask

Don't buy anything from this company. I ordered a part for my mazda 3 2007 on Aug 9th 2020. Was supposed to get it on Aug 15 - 17. Never received a tracking number for the item. Every time I called they said the item was shipped and I should be receiving it within a few days, after all the lying I decided to ask for a refund they said OK, however my refund was never issued to me. So I called my credit card to report it as fraud, don't buy anything from this company.

Do not buy anything from them. Go directly to the manufacturer. They only collect your money and delay shipping your product. There is no customer service at all and they keep giving you the run around. I have been waiting for 30 days for a product that I was told would be shipping 3 different times. Contact their state consumer affairs dept and their states BBB. It is New Jersey. The company is listed as Onyx in Jersey City, New Jersey. They need to be put out of business!

A month and a half of dealing with this trash company. CARiD refuses to take their product back and will not discuss it at all. CARiD has sent "spacers" claiming the wheels will fit if I add them. The lug bolts needed have not been sent, I was sent lug nuts. I am taking all of this to a tire specialist just to be told that the wheels I have are for a larger model vehicle. Before you ask, yes, the wheels and accessories were ordered to fit. Matched on CARiD website. If I wanted to play darts drunk, I would go to the bar. A lot less expensive than dealing with CARiD.

DON'T!

I purchased wheels for the vehicle they were specified to fit. When wheels arrived, took to tire shop for balancing and installation. First, CARiD sent lug nuts. My vehicle uses lag bolts. Second, the wheel have almost twice diameter of vehicle hub. Vehicle manufacturers service center shows that wheels would fit different model. This company refuses to provide refund and claims to send the needed parts to make it work.
If you are not a mechanic and/or do not know how to machine in order to alter CARiD merchandise. DONT BUY FROM THEM.
Then again, if you alter a wheel it loses warranty...
Don't deal with this company. They sell items that may or may not work and will make you look like an idiot to every mechanic you go to.

Worst company ai have ever dealt with as far as returns. They list an incorrect part for vehicle then punish the customer with a hole bunch of bull$#*! to get a full refund
Send pictures and get the OEM part number for them so they don't have to do any work to fix their $#*! job of vehicle and part ID. Won't be another purchase from them

This company, CARID, has lousy customer service and my order never arrived. Because I waited too long for my $500 order to arrive, they said there was nothing they could do. Instead they sent me a $25 discount card to use on my next purchase. For real? Like I will waste any more money on them? UPS tracking even stated that they delivered a one pound package to me when the item I ordered would have been much heavier than that. My order consisted of a Bulldog bumper guard and license plate frame. A total rip off! I originally couldn't find my order confirmation email for my order number, but after 30 days without getting it, I looked harder and found it so that I could check the status of my order. They were absolutely no help and that became a very expensive lesson for me that I will not soon forget. They don't even deserve one star. What they deserve is jail time.

Tip for consumers:
Keep a copy of your order confirmation handy where you can find it and don't wait more than a week before checking up on your order if you haven't received it. I don't know if they will help you then, but after 30 days they will not do anything for you at all. I had no idea what their shipping or return policies were when I placed my order. When I was able finally to track my order with UPS, they stated that they left a one pound package at my door. My items would have weighed much more.

Products used:
No products were used since no products were ever received.

I will never use Carid again. Thirty three days since my order and nothing. Emails, calls and nothing helps. Can't even track my order like it says. This is complete bs. Didn't take long for them to get my money though, a day or two after ordering. Contacting BBB next since nothing else works.

0 stars is what they deserve. Purchased premium calipers, hooked up parking brake, one caliper doesn't work, cable functions as it should. Car rolls when pushed with one hand. NEVER DRIVEN. Will not accept a return unless I video the defect? I guess someone has to be crushed trying to take a picture of the car rolling while the parking brake is engaged. CarId said if I shipped the parts back they would return them and charge me shipping. My other option is to take my car to a mechanic (driving on those calipers) and have my mechanic write a letter saying they are defective, out another $100. So I'm out $300+ for a defect part and I have a trip to the mountains MATG in a week.

Tip for consumers:
Beware, I will not use this site ever again. Any company who will not allow you to return an out of the box defective product is useless.

Ordereda set of tail lights for my father in law and myself for Christmas. On 11/27 get an email about a week later saying headlight were on back order from the manufacturer with an expected shipping date of 12/15. Still no tracking number so I contacted customer support via Chat on 12/17 who were anything but helpful. Was told that the item should ship on 12/15 (two days ago) and I would receive a tracking number. It is now 3 weeks two days since I've placed my order and still no tracking number of confirmation of shipment. Won't be using this site again and based on some of the other reviews I've read I suggest that other don't make the same mistake I did.

I don't normally write reviews for companies but this has got to be the worst website to buy from, please go elsewhere to save yourself a headache. After spending 2k with them and a month later, I have not received any of my order and have called multiple times waiting on hold for hours getting transferred to different departments just to find out they never even cancelled the order. They also sent me an email a week after I ordered, saying my order was on hold and I had to pay an extra 100 for shipping... How is this company in business.

I ordered headlight assemblies from them and they didn't fit properly. More like a cheap Chinese reproduction. Also the sealant on them wasn't cured. I asked to return them for refund or exchange. They are now saying my vehicle might have been in a collision and that's why they don't fit. Funny how the old ones fit fine but are clouded from the years of sun exposure. Plus I bought the vehicle new in 2005. They are refusing to take them back. So much for 100% guarantee in says on website. My credit card company is now disputing the charges. STAY AWAY! You'll thank me later.

This place sucks! They lie on there web page. There is no customer service they all give you the same response. I ordered seats on November 10 there website says 3 to 5 days. That is a lie! I did not get my seats until December 1. Then my order not what I ordered. Don't use these liars.

I order Running Boards Side Steps for 522.50 USD. My experience with carid customer service was terrible, their so call est wait time was 8 min when I called. It been 68 min into the call. I have yet to even hear one of their employees voice. I tried this process for 5 days now. Not to mention I place my order on the 28th of December 2014, their suppose est ship date was January 1st. Until this very day I still have yet to received any information on my order. If you are expecting good service and excellent quality experience. Carid is not your store. They are terrible in every aspect, except for their organized website. If I could give a zero star rating I would.
