“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I received a email back from Carid.com in response to my problem of them shipping me damaged product despite two earlier statements from them that the would correct their problem now they are offering me 50.00 to go away I spent more than that to them for their incompetent shipping and handling I guess they think this is over but actually. It is not Thank you *

Scripted text customer services, using kind "scripted" words does not equate to quality customer services. They do not make it easy to process returns, absolute lie. Try to blame the customer for their faulty customer assistance in ordering parts in order to process a reduced refund. They take way longer than should be legally allowed to process a return. Constantly tel you thank you and it'll take 3-5 business days regardless. Use crutchfiled, save yourself some aggravation

I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. They say they are in NJ, but you get someone from another country that you cannot understand and of course you can never speak to a manager. I bought a bumper almost a month ago. CAR ID canceled my order without giving me an option to pay the difference in shipping. Then when I called to inquire about it, they are refusing to give me my money back of over $1,500. They say each week that they are mailing it out that day. They lie and they are not a reputable company at all. Do not waste your time and money with these scammers.

I placed an order March 4th and after 16 complete days of numerous emails being sent on my behalf and patiently waiting for my parts I get an email (on March 20th) stating the parts I ordered have been discontinued. If their customer service was anything to brag about I would have been notified a lot sooner, not 16 days later. Absolutely unacceptable service. I will not be ordering from CarID again. I advise you to proceed with caution when placing an order through this company.

I ordered a part for my car and after a month of waiting and delays decided to cancel the order. It has been another month since that and I still haven't gotten my refund of over $400. I wish that I had read reviews of this site prior to making any purchase from them. Don't make the same mistake that I did and steer clear of doing business with them.

Ordered a pair of window visors for my suv and ended up receiving countless email communications stating that my purchase was on back order due to manufacturer delay. CarID reps provided me with so-called "discount" codes for my future purchases, but they were no good because they expire within days. I was offered more "discount" codes which i never received, and was given more excuses. I ended up receiving my order 2 months later. My second purchase was not any different. Best to go elsewhere to purchase your automotive parts, at least a company with good business practices!

I've never written an online review before. Signed up just for this review. Ordered a set of 4 wheels, lug nuts, and mounting kit. Wheels are delivered a week later, to Texas... I live in Tennessee. Wheels reshipped, I assume someone in Texas got some free wheels. Wheels are finally received by me, still waiting on the lug nuts and mounting kit. I order thousands of dollars worth of merchandise every year from the web, this has got to be the worst experience I've ever had with one exception. Do not use these guys, you've been warned.

Contacted CarID in regards to purchasing a Hurculiner truck bed lined kit. This product is quite hard to get due to shipping restraints or extremely expensive to ship. Went to CarID and opened a chat and quickly got all the info I needed and a discount code that saved me a few bucks. The operator was quick to answer my questions and it was nice it was not an automated response.

Not my first order and will not be my last.

Save/Spare yourself the headaches. I've been waiting almost two months for a tire, wheel, sensor package they screwed up to get a refund on. They delay, delay, delay
I finally had to open a credit card dispute against them before the 60 day complaint limit was up. Also, if you do, or have dealings with these losers only use emails to deal with them so you have proof of there shenanagins for your credit card dispute. Stay far away!

I purchase a leaf spring shackle from them in anticipation of changing it on my truck. Unfortunately, the truck would not wait and I needed to purchase the part locally. I contacted customer service to cancel my order. The operator I spoke with through online chat, cancelled the order and I got notified almost immediately. There was no hassle or any grief. I will order from them again due to the great customer service I received.

I did a lot of searching for a reasonable price for my muffler and resonator for my 2004 Volvo XC70. CARiD had the best prices. My conversation with the agent who took my call was frustrating. Although he was helpful and polite, it frustrated me that I had to spell everything to him at least three times... my name, street address, city, email. I ended up yelling into the phone. Other than that, I got great prices and the products were exactly as advertised and delivery was prompt. I will buy from CARiD again.

I ordered a grille that was non returnable. Well it would be non returnable if it fit. They said well you already opened it and therefore it can't be returned. How can I not open it without seeing if it fits or not. I had to buy an oem grille to get the customer back on the road. The customer finally brought vehicle for additional repairs. I was able to take photos of grille that carid provided us and how it didn't fit. They still would not refund us for the grille. Needless to say you better hope it will fit or your out whatever you paid for your part.

I contacted this company because the duffle bag I bought to store my car cover in broke the first time I used it. Not only to they request that you call them to process a return (which is ridiculous in 2018 that this is not an online option) but then they first offered me a gift card (which I declined) then they asked for photos to prove that the item was damaged. I would have happily sent them the item, providing them the necessary proof of damage. I ultimately decided it was not worth the $10 to pursue this. There are much easier companies to deal with. They will not be getting any of my business again.

If you need anything for your car or truck, this is the website to go to. You'll find everything you need from gift cards, to basics to cutting edge products at very affordable prices. Easy to navigate and find items for your vehicle and a customer service dept. that is nothing but helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I really can't imagine using anyone else. Check it out... you won't be disapointed. :)

My order was supposed to be shipped out on 4/9. It is now 4/23, with no info on when my order will be shipped out. Was told on 4/9 they had everything just waiting to ship. I have been told some items are in Cali and need to be shipped to Florida to be put together. I have been told a supervisor will contact me in 24-48 hrs. Never happens. I spend $2500 on an order that I cannot even get a straight answer as to what is going on.

I was trying to figure out exactly what rack and pinion is for my 2008 GMC sierra: customer service was very prompt in getting in touch with me and even applied a military discount. This is a fantastic team! My part should be coming in the mail tomorrow and will follow up on a review of it. (Should still be 5 stars since I ordered an AC Delco part)

Purchased part for Pontiac. Stated clearly in description it fit my car.
Received part, packaging stated for a Chevy, same part number, does NOT fit my Pontiac.
Rep insisted it fit my and requested photos.
Sent everything they asked for including vin number from dash.
Now they state my vin is incorrect even with a photo.
Rude, argumentative and purposefully trying to get me to go away without return.
Bad company, scam. Send wrong part, will not admit or refund.

Ordered products because they claimed to be able to get them faster. Had truck waiting two weeks because they cannot deliver on their promises. The company orders from others that do not care about customers or business. This company cannot be trusted. No photos because no products. They keep saying manufacturer and warehouse not open on weekends.

I placed a order on 6-3-22 for 4500. 00. Part of the order was 4-tires it is now 7-18-22 and I have still never received 2-tires. I have called several times and was told I would have to wait until they found my other 2-tires. I returned the 2 I received and still have not been given credit. Terrible customer service I will tell everybody I know not to buy anything from CARID.

I ordered a part on 9/2 that had an expected delivery of 9/10. They do have a caption on site and confirmation stating it could be delayed 3-5 days due to covid. I requested update after 14 days of no communication. I was told they didn't know where order was and would have to check with manufacturer and they would get back to me within 36 hours. They gave me a $15 coupon to use on their site only (which is essentially useless to me). No response since and it's been 8 days and they sent my money back without any warning or explanation. I asked why and they said they couldn't fulfil the order so sent refund. I asked if this was normal practice to have zero communication with the customer and kept getting canned responses over and over. Pathetic customer service. I will not be ordering again. They could have alleviated my frustration with a simple email or call saying they are sorry and just providing an update. One and done for me.

Communication is terrible. Explanations were awful. Response was worse (none).

AVOID! Received used open box part and paid for as new. This wasn't really their issue as they are just middle man. HOWEVER. They took my money and did not make it right! Called and let them know. I sent a video as proof and they said UPS would contact me to pick up package. 3 days later nothing. I called back and they said fedex would pick it up that night or next day. Nothing. I ended up contacting manufacturer and shipped it directly to them. Car Id did nothing nor did they they follow up yet I get "how did we do emails". The people on phones do nothing but apologize. Go with Midwest or Auto Anything if you need accessories.

I ordered a bull bar for my truck that said it would be shipped out in 2-3 business days. I waited 7 business days then called the company and they said they didn't know what was wrong. Called again 1 week later and they said they got in contact with the manufacturer and it would be shipped in 2-3 business days. Again it was a lie. I finally gave up and put a cancellation on my order with expectations of a full refund. The cancellation said it would take 1-2 business days and I would get a refund from there. It has now been almost a week and a half! I'm done with this company don't give them your money so they can steal it when you realize they lied about shipping time. I fully understand everyone is under harsh times from Covid but this is getting ridiculous.
