“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Very bad customer service, as of last week. 11/5/22
I ordered a front powerstop brake kit for $500. The caliper is defective installed by ASE certified shop. Seal is leaking upon test. I was on the phone & customer rep asked for proof ( video of the leak) I took pictures and their action is: now wait 3-5 days so the company can review your pictures. Then we will decide!?!? Wtf?!?!? I also had to pay to put my old brake caliper back on & now pay again to install! I asked them to email me a return label that day so I can ship it immediately, they did not do it. I will never order from this sketchy company again! Do yourself a favor - read the reviews & save yourself a huge headache & money! They suck. Pure and simple - They suck!

We ordered a hitch and they sent us the wrong one and they didn't send the right bolts. We called and they said they would send them right out. We waited weeks for them to come and they never showed them my husband had unexpected surgery. Of course waiting weeks put us past the 30 day return and my husbands surgery. My sin tried to put it on and said it was the wrong one. We went to the body shop and they said it was the wrong one. I tried offering to pay for shipping to swap out the part and they refused. Now I'm spent 203.00 plus another 20 for bolts and can't use the product. Beware of this company! I would give them a zero if possible.

I dont know what kind of $#*! show this company is running but its ridiculous.
I ordered some step bars for my car and after they arrived i realized their not what i wanted so i wanted to return them. They literally want me to send them pictures of the box before they send me return labels... what kind of customer service is this? I have never dealt with a company that bribes you to keep merchandise?! Please do yourself a favor and use amazon never any issues with them.

Verified purchase

Order after being assured twice that the item would be shipped the next day. As soon as I paid for the item, I was told it would be 3 to 5 business days until shipment. I was unhappy, but I waited. The 5 business days. And heard nothing. I called an told that there would be 3 - 4 week delay due to manufacturing. I was then told that there was another vendor who had the item in stock and it would ship the next day. Two days later I received an email stating it would ship in five more days. After the five days had come and gone another email arrived stating it would be two more days. After several phone calls I cancelled the order and am awaiting a refund, which will of course take 3 to 5 days. Don't believe anything they tell you.

Don't buy from these people and/or don't believe what they tell you regarding you order.

I ordered a set of headlights. One of the headlights they shipped was a completely different brand that then what i ordered, and was also cheaper brand. They refuse to exchange them out saying the item numbers show they are identical headlights so we wont exchange them. They no longer answer emails and will not call me back.

I ordered "Perforated Partition Panel" for my van.
Options was only to pay more for "Handle And Door Lock Kit".
Purchased panels not was fit to my car.
When i call customer service them told me my order is correct but i need to buy "Wing Kit" (what cost $143.00 plus $11.00 shipping).
Them show on pictures Partition Panels and Wind Kit together, but after payment they send only Partition panels. I'm try to search how much cost Wing Kit and not got it.
Only need call and ask for price.
For return item them charge fee.
So, I'm lose my time for order, explain inline with customer service and take this heavy doors to post office.
Also lose money.

Ordered 4 wheels, received and took to tire shop to have tires mounted. Shop mounted 3, the 4th wheel was damaged when box opened. Had no choice but mount it as I had to drive. My old ones were a completely different size and could not drive with the 3 new ones and 1 old one. I immediately contacted them with pictures of the wheel right out of the box, before it was mounted. Since I had to have it mounted, they will not help. Doesn't change the fact that it was damaged (proven) before it was mounted. Customer service says "it's your problem. Do not buy from them!

I purchased 2 products for a New 2920 Silverado. Both products do not fit my truck. I received one when it did not fit. I told them to cancel the other. Of course they did not. So not I was forced to pay for shipping and now stuck with a product that make my brand new truck look cheep. They will not respond and will not back up their cheep made products.

After numerous phone calls in regards to my situation with the duraflex defective hood I was in contact with chester from carid. He personally gave his full attention to my situation and was able to get me my credit on the purchase. I appreciate everything he did for me as it was bad situation I was in as my car sat at paint body shop with NO hood. Thanks chester from Carid

Due to the peculiarities of a freight shipment, the part has to be inspected upon delivery and signed as damaged if any harm is located. Only in these cases, we on our end are able to submit the damage claim and proceed with either refund or replacement for you without any complications.

I ordered some truck bed tie down anchors based on their web site saying they were compatible with my 2019 RAM 1500. When I received the item I discovered that they were in fact not compatible. I called their customer service who admitted that they had an error on their web site incorrectly stating that the items were compatible. They said I would get the return authorization with in 72 hours. It's been 16 days and several emails and still no return. There are easier companies to purchase from, I wouldn't recommend buying from this company if you find other options.

I purchased a Duraflex GT 500 Style…Hood
I purchased a Duraflex GT 500 Style hood from CAR ID. Absolute piece of garbage. Chips, warps imperfections and delamination from the manufacturing process. Not one straight line. My body shop refused to install it on my vehicle. Trying to return this product has been a nightmare. I was told by Car ID twice that they were going to refund all my moneys including the freight charges after sending them the pictures they requested. Well it never happened. Nothing but double, triple and quadruple talk with no results. I would not recommend this product or Car ID to my worst enemy. There customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced!

We want all consumers to know that there will always be minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installing Extreme Dimensions parts. Also, the black primer finish must be sanded and other prep work will be required prior to painting. It is recommended that the part be installed by a professional body shop that has experience working with aftermarket fiberglass and urethane body kits including but not limited to sanding, shaving, cutting and filling.

I had never purchased anything from this company before but I decided to give it a shot. I was able to find the product that I wanted at a reasonable price. Especially after using their price match guarantee which they honored unlike some other places, the process was easy and they responded in a timely manner. Packaged was shipped within a few days.

I ordered A part called cancelled it 2 hours later. They offered me immediate store credit which i did not take customer service told me my money would be refunded in 5 business days. I check my email the next morning and they still shipped the item after i called cancelled it and they refuse to give me my refund.

I have been searching for a full hood and windshield bra for my Honda Fit to use when towing behind my motor home. I have ordered from CARiD in the past and called them to help me find what I wanted. The rep was most helpful and asked specific questions about my make and model of car so he could order me the correct bra, even though they did not have the full body one I wanted. Even gave me a Senior Discount!

I've oredered from them before and everything has always gone smoothly. Just yesterday I made another purchase of over $500 and am confident that all of my items will come just as hassle-free as last time. I also 'chatted' with their service representatives on multiple occasions and they were very professional and pleasant. They have yet to let me down and I will continue to shop with them.

8/1/2019- They came back to me and made up with some gift card and coupons. I managed to get things i needed. I did understand that it was not directly their fault for the damaged rims and more the company installing the tires on the rims. Thanks guys.

Needed a part and needed to know how fast I would get it. Same part was all over the internet, but no idea how long it would take to get. It was a Sunday too, calling was likely not an option. Happened on CARiD and saw a chat button. In 5 minutes I found i would have it in 2 Days, she gave me a link with an order filled out for me and added an additional discount. She also offered if I gave her my order number she would walk it thru and assure I had it on time. Never bought anything so easily on the internet. All the best of a local parts counter, but with longer hours and bigger supply

I'm shocked to write this but very happy with the turnaround. Customer service contacted me and intervened. They acknowledged the initial break down in communication worked with me to identify, locate, and receive my new exhaust.

I had a deadline for the 19th. Damon came through. Very excited.

Site inconsistencies with backordered items

I purchased a cat-back muffler. I paid and received notification that it was processed and estimated ship date was 4/4. I never read an indication that it was already back ordered. CarID took my money for the part. If you do the same to a wheel that is out of stock you cant purchase it. I called on 4/5 to find out that the exhaust is on back order and wont go out until 4/19 the earliest.

I paid for a promise of an exhaust. No feedback as to the status and now I have to wait 72 hours for a refund. You should have never taken my money. I would have purchased from someone else and already had the exhaust.

CarID should not accept payment for something you do not have in stock without me knowing and choosing to proceed with purchase. You sold me a product under false pretenses. Copying and pasting this to the BBB.

CARID is the ultimate choice for auto parts, accessories, etc. They took great care of me, from Juan to Marge, they've made my shopping experience hassle-free and easy. I've got to say, CARID is run by professionals who care, not only for business, but customer satisfaction. Juan was able to help me price match a competitor's price and hooked me up with an upgrade to ensure my business. I am very happy with the way they run things. Professional staff, fast and easy shipping, and low prices. Received my installation kit 3 days after ordering, now just waiting on my new 18" VERSUS Racing wheels. Thanks CARID!

For those of you who find the same item cheaper elsewhere, give them a call and customer service will hook you up with a deal and help you out.

My wife and I ordered a bumper\skid kit for my grandson's birthday. Carid guaranteed that they would fit. They did not and I have been trying to coordinate with customer service for over two months to return them for a full refund; as promised by Carid. The customer services representatives have come up with every excuse imaginable for not allowing a return for a full refund. For the items ordered, Carid dealt with a manufacturer, Extreme Dimensions to provide the items. Carid representatives blame everything on the manufacturer and say that their hands are tied. Worse company I have ever dealt with for online purchases. I recommend that everyone stay away from dealing with them. I intend to file a complaint with the FTC for further investigation of this company. Their rating is less than one star.

Seriously, I had no problem. I see so much bad review. I can't explain. I got a really good service. My painted spoiler has been delivered in a really good condition. It only took 1 week for the whole process (I live in Canada). During the process, I had to change my shipping address and everything was done in the same day. Good job.

I have tried to reach out to them to resolved issues. The website said 25% off entire site on thursday and rep got rude and hung phone up on me next few day they refuse to honor new promotion up to 50% off website and nothing to resolve bunch of crooks false advertisement

I received the wrong kit that also had missing parts. They have given me the run around for two weeks. One lie after another, one application after another always needing 24 to 72 hours. I'm done and I'm out 86.18 because they did not send me the product I ordered and payed for.
