“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I have had the worst customer service with this company, I have made many messages with this company they have refunded me 200 dollars of my 500 dollars I have paid to get a hood from them. The hood arrived with multiple cracks and chunks out of it. The top of the hood was pushed in and it popped out while I was looking at it. I did not accept it and returned it right away it is not right to take someone's money and not give them something in return that they gave the money for. I am very upset about this situation. I just want either all my money back or a hood without cracks and chips in it.

We are terribly sorry to know you are not satisfied with the services provided.

Since the POD was not signed as "damaged" the hood was delivered back to the manufacturer as a usual return. Once we reported the damage, the freight carrier inspected the part you sent back and confirmed there is no damage to the hood.

Extreme Dimensions products are considered to be "raw" and there will always be minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installation. It is recommended that the part be installed by a professional body shop that has experience working with aftermarket fiberglass and urethane body kits including but not limited to sanding, shaving, cutting and filling. The disclaimer is shown to a client before adding the product to a shopping cart. There is no way to add the product to a shopping cart without acknowledging the disclaimer.

I order 2 conversion kits they come as a pair so I should have received a total of four 4 units. I paid for 2 kits the representatives knows it. We are trying to get the other kits sent the company does not believe us. we had to take pictures of the box, the packaging the part and now they want the product sent back so they can examine.

From the moment you call to the moment they answered the process is flawless. I had so many questions and my representative was ready for every question. The most amazing part was during the conversation he actually listened to all my requests and found a product that fit better for my needs.

I ordered some diamond plate bed caps from them. I paid for order. Gave me a order number and everything. They said I would recieve them in three weeks on that Thursday. So two weeks went by and I checked the status on order. They told me they cant get bed caps no more. Instead of telling me the day I ordered. Now no bed caps and have to wait 3 to 5 more days to recieve my money back. Very inconvenient. Would not recommend ordering anything from them.

Recently ordered takes for my truck. The sales associate went above and beyond in order to ensure we got the lowest prices, even price matching which gave me an 80 dollar lower price. My parts arrived early and got me back on the road. Couldn't be happier.

Bsolutely the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I had a couple of issues to resolve with CARID. The first was trying to get reimbursed for a price match. They kept promising and stalling, taking over a month to only reimburse part of what they told me they would. Next, I had to return the defective part. Again, it took many emails, live chats, and phone calls to get the correct paperwork. The original packaging was very damaged when it arrived, so I had to pay UPS to package it. CARID told me they would reimburse me for this, but now are saying they won't. Their tactic is to stall so hopefully you forget about the issues. I will never use this company again and I would suggest you don't either. Find the parts you need from a more reputable company.

Beware of CARiD.com! They don't stand behind even their own web page. I purchased a product that said there was free shipping. I completed the transaction, and got a confirmation email. They emailed me days later saying that they needed more money as their site made a mistake. At one point, they said they would honor it, but then came back again (a week later) to ask for the shipping. Even today, their site and sales people have not corrected their web site for this error. A reputable company would have owned up to the error, and honored the terms of the transaction. I know a little about of taking care of the customer, but these guy's don't.

Initially, I did not know what to expect when reaching out about custom wheels. I've purchased customs before for my vehicle; however, this time was alittle different. Jeremy (customer service tech) was very friendly and patient. I even called back a few times because I didn't have all the information the first time I called. He gave me his direct line and encouraged me to call back- I did, and he helped me from there.
All in all, I would certainly recommend CarID

Ordered running boards that cost me 720.00 with freight. Running boards they sent me on there website cost 325.00. Contacted them and they confirmed they sent the wrong ones. Told them to refund me 300.00 and i would keep the wrong ones. They insisted i send them back with more freight charges and they would refund my money and then could order the same ones which cost 325.00 free shipping makes no sense to me. Please stay away from this online dealer. Dont care about there customers in which they claim they satisfy. You never talk to the same person that took your order from the beginning so very confusing cant do anything simple. Dont add up to me..

Daniel helped me with everything I needed. Anything I asked for he looked up and read the description for me as well. He gave me the best product choice and also sent me an e-mail with more options of certain products I asked about. So that way I could go back, look for myself, & choose whatever I was talking about.

Placed order of three items. I did receive two or the three. Called carid to find out were the third item was because i was charged for it. Oh i never received a conformation email or receipt. When i call them about issue the Representative told me that they did send out emails to me and that i only purchased two items. When i tried to explain my side and that i could show them that i was charged he then started talking over me and that i was wrong and if i wanted the third item i would have to pay for it again. So out about $50.00 bucks stay away from CARID.

They blame you for their defects on brand new parts out of the box. One person tells you they will resolve it and another will tell you they won't, you don't deal with one person, you get tossed around.

I have been shopping with car ID for well over four years now and I am never disappointed. Even if there is a slip up somewhere in shipping or with any part of the ordering process, they happily compensate me with gift cards and quickly resolve the matter! Never have any issue with the parts or products! I live I mean live Car ID.com Style! Thank you guys for your awesomeness!

I ordered a dome light replacement for my Sprinter van and received one that would not fit. When I called for a return they confirmed that I had infact ordered the correct bulb and that it would work... funny that the factory bulb was 1/4" longer than the replacement. OK, I guess I am wrong? Wait, isn't the customer supposed to be right? :) They processed the return all along insisting that it was the correct bulb and would not refund in full charging me $10 for shipping a bulb that is smaller than my pinky... will not do business again!

Was trying to find a matching dash piece for my 2001 Expedition, and wound up talking to Lisa B., at CARiD. I had been on the phone at a couple of places and having no luck. Lisa took the time to understand what I was looking for, and even called the manufacturer while I was on the phone to find pricing and availability. All this, within about 15 minutes. I had spent an hour with others before that, with no success. Kudos to Lisa B.

Had a package stolen. Says right on their site to contact within 72 hours for a replacement. They basically laughed in my face and gave me the finger while holding my money. Will never trust this site again.

Update.
Well after a few weeks many emails it turns out that it wasn't stolen, they just never delivered it! They kept telling me that they needed a apartment number, well I don't live at a apartment. I had to repeat many times that I live in a house. They shipped out another one so let's see if it comes this time.

I ordered a set of Spyder headlights back in November. When the items were received one of the headlight assemblies came with a defective high beam H1 plug. The day after receiving the defective item I submitted a warranty claim with CariD. A week after submission I had received zero response from them other than an automated email. After a second email I received a response that they were working on my claim. A week later and I call for an update and was informed that my warranty claim had been approved but I'd have to wait a week for a return shipping label to be emailed out (A WEEK FOR AN EMAIL?!?!?!). It's now been two additional weeks and three more follow ups and nothing. I finally ordered a replacement H1 pigtail from amazon and made it work. Stay away from these guys... if you have an issue you'll be on your own.

Spent 630 dollars on parts only to receive a bunch of parts that aren't even close to fitting my vehicle. Contacted customer service and sent pictures showing wrong fit, then get emails that say 24-72 business hours to resolve issue for return, they said a refund would be applied once they got an RMA number, waited another few days then they say it again, then I call and they say 3-5 business days, so I wait some more and they say another 24-72 hours. My issue has been ongoing for 2 weeks. I will take this to the next level if not resolved. I work hard and honest for my money. I will not stand for someone cheating me out of it and I will continue sharing this as long as I need too

I have order several car item from Cari and Bruce was the rep assisting me on both occasions. Awesome customer service. Items have given my Jeep new life. I have been getting multiple complements and have told all to shop at Carid. Great products but most importantly, great customer service.

If I could give them a negative that is what I would do. I am out $780 for a damaged part and one I never received that go figure doesn't even fit for the light bar. I should have googled reviews and realized this was to good to be true. You will never be able to talk to a live person after the sale. And they have been trying to pick up the item at my home like I am leaving something that expensive outside and no tracking info. STAY FAR FAR AWAY...

I ordered caliper covers for my car Carid was quick to charge my credit card it took 3 weeks to get my covers. When I went to have installed mechanic stated they don't fit. I spoke to MGP the part maker they stated that they don't have a cover that fits my car. I email Carid this information and I get bounced around from person to person. They want pictures of the item item number package number just crazy I sent all of it and they still need to review may send return shipping in 3-5 days will never buy from them again

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM These guys provide horrible service. I bought a set of tail lights from them just to waste my time installing them and finding out that only one worked. Had to install my old set and packed up the new to return it. Called customer service and was told that I had to make a video of it not working. Like I am going to waste another couple hours installing faulty not working parts for video making sake. These guys are insane. Allow the customer to return the product like any other company. It is bad enough that I wasted my time already. What horrible service. No sorry at any given point either.

Tip for consumers:
Do not waste your time with them. You will get better service with another seller.

Products used:
I bought tail lights for my car from them, but from the set of two only one worked. They would not let me return it unless I made a video of it not working. This is after I already wasted 2 hours installing them, finding out that only one worked. Then, had to install my old set and package up the new set for return. All wasted time. No sorry or apology from them at all. Just a refusal to accpet the return unless I made a video. This is theft.

I made mistake by ordering the wrong led conversion kit. I called to cancel, but CariD ships so fast (which is awesome) I couldn't cancel. When it arrived I called customer service and spoke with Robert. He was very courteous and despite the error being my fault, he was able to get me a return label within 24 hours. Obviously I payed shipping, but it was worth it. Thanks a bunch guys! It was great to get rolling again.
