The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I made an expensive purchase on tail lights and they failed to work and let moisture in a month later. CARiD refused to take it back and we're indignant in their response, refusing to help. It took two weeks for them to respond and when they did, they said "that my 30 day window passed" and Would only exchange them. Horrible experience. Avoid this company at all costs.

BE AWARE FROM THEM. They are just a broker, and don't have the part. This crooks cancel the order, increased the price, then notify you after 5 days. Here you can see the what I received from CARiD.

"Let me please sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that occurred. Regretfully, the item for the old price is not available anymore. The manufacturer provided a new price for the new supply of the product. It is available now and listed in stock but for $71.45 and ready to be shipped within 2-3 business days."

I ordered three exhaust parts from this company. Two out of three were defective. They will not give me a return authorization even though I sent over 20 pictures showing the bubbles coming from defective welds on product. Every time I call I get the same exact story, we can't help you just have to keep waiting. It's been two weeks since I sent pictures and still no return authorization. I had to rent a car costing me over 300$ for two weeks. I am going to file in small claims court for reimbursement for my car rental and for the defective part. I unfortunately had to learn the hard way about this company, they don't assume any responsibility at all for selling you defective parts. I have documented everything and will get my day in court. Just can't believe a company would rather pay their attorney to show up in court for a $80 part... doesn't make sense.
Really just disappointed that a place would treat a customer this badly.

Carid sold me used shocks. The shocks came scratched up with red paint and the air line fittings don't match the air compressor. Customer service stated I was beyond 30 day return policy. Like that makes a difference.

Called CarID and placed order for a tail light. Needed it within 8-business days to pass inspection.

Sales rep confirmed 100% that tail light would be delivered within time frame. 8 business days has passed and item hasn't been shipped yet.

1/10 experience, really screwed me over for this inspection.

I bought brake parts that required a core charge to be paid. CARiD did not send me the necessary paperwork to return the parts. By the time I got the instructions and paperwork from them, it was past the window of time to get the core charge back. Their customer service sucks. They lie right to your face on the phone. I will never do business them again. Buyer beware. I'm out my money now. Don't lose yours.

I made an order, didn't receive order or shipping info for over a month. Called, was told manufacturer is on back order with no ETA on when it would be available. They confirmed I would get a refund, then a month later, no refund. Chat will blow you off and phone call means getting transferred to multiple people for hours with no resolution and no refund. They took $771 dollars from me, cancelled my order, then promised refund, but refuses to actually process it. My last chat was with Alicia Crane. She did nothing bt waste time.

Ordered a front bumber for my wife's tesla took it in to have it installed and they told me that the bumber has small hairline cracks and needed a lot of work and most likely won't fit. I called Car id and they told me there nothing they can do

Hoods and bumpers on the website are advertised as "raw" and due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a "direct bolt-on." Such products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other bodywork. We highly recommend that a professional "custom" shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. Ordered 2 parts by phone (small transmission switches). The salesperson led me to believe that the parts would be here in two business days. Problem 1: He didn't mention since billing address & shipping address were different, I would have to respond to a verification email. That held it up a day or two. And is forgivable.
Problem 2: One of the two parts arrived about 5 days later. I called, was told to wait up to 24 hours for an email. I waited 2 days, asked via the websites chat where it was. Once again was told to wait up to 24 hours for an email. Yesterday's latest chat, I was told it was being shipped "tomorrow from a new manufacturer". Today's chat I was given a tracking number and told it is "due to arrive " tomorrow. Meanwhile I have lost the use of my vehicle for over two weeks because of their ineptitude. For my trouble, they have offered a $15 gift cert for my next purchase with CarID. They won't discount this order, not even the horrible shipping charge.

This company is a disgrace. I waited for 3 weeks for an order to ship. Every time I reached out to them I was told they would get back to me within 48 hours - never happened. I finally was so fed up that I cancelled my order. It ships 12 hours later and now I have to pay to return it. The customer service is outsourced to India and they are all clueless and not helpful at all. I hope this company goes out of business ASAP and no one else has to deal with their nonsense.

Wheels were just wrapped in saran wrap for delivery, then when arrived damaged carid offers me $100 when I spent over $3000 (including extra for shipping) because I did not keep the saran wrap they were packaged in! They claimed they paid for insurance but could not file a claim without the "original packaging". I had to jump through hoops and was able to file a claim through UPS myself, which was denied because "The merchandise was not placed properly within the packaging to protect it sufficiently".
It has been over 2 weeks of trying to get this resolved but still no resolution and continuing waste of time bs emails.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid using this site/company! It took over a month to receive my items and delivery showed up damaged they said I could return(after going 1 month not being able to drive my car) or they offered me $100 for my damaged $3000 purchase.

Purchased item (mirror) that is not an appropriate fit for my motorcycle. Customer service informed me that I should resell it to a friend or neighbor due to the restocking fee. Unhelpful and rude during the interaction. Definitely not a company I would repurchase from unless I knew the product was an exact fit.

I bought wheels with tires already mounted. Well 2 of the wheels are on backwards. 2 tires shops I went to (1 that Carid told me to go to) both said when they flip the tires correctly that there is 50/50 shot in there being marks in the tires. All the customer service reps and the manage Jason say this is not their problem.

Never order from this place. If this was tire rack they would have owned their mistake and correct the issue making sure I got the product I purchased.

I ordered spoiler for my car back in January 2020 and still going back and forth to get my refund. Part came with dents, scratches and broken parts. I had paid additional for shipping which was ridiculous. Rep. Told me that they cannot give me back shipping fees and on top of that I would have to pay additional shipping for sending the product back. Please do not buy from this website. The managers are not helpful at all. They will make sure that they do not have to give you refund back. Manager told me that the part comes with minor dents and scratches and that's what their website states. Why in the world would anyone want dent or scratched up part while paying so much, I rather go to junkyard and get it for less.

Twice I ordered from them and was sent wrong parts this last order was my upper and lower ball joints.
They send two different lowers and the uppers were wrong size after asking them to confirm fitment which they didn't do.
I only realized they were wrong once I started work on my Jeep which was past the return policy so am unable to return them and they offered me a 15.00$ Gift certificate and even within the policy they will still give you a hard time on returns. I'm gonna let as many people know to stay away from this Co.

Buy local or a site that confirms fitment and stands behind their product.

Used the Live chat to order an exhaust system for my 1978 Corvette. I asked two different people if the system came with all the parts to go from my stock horn manifolds back and they said sure does and sent me a picture even. First of all the kit arrives missing parts (Muffler, adapter pipe, and two down pipes) and in no way was it for the exhaust manifolds back. I contacted them about both issues and it have now been over two weeks and still have not received my missing parts and they said the picture was wrong and that I needed to order a separate kit costing my another $144.00 Buyer Beware - stay away from this site for any car parts! They are truly horrible and know nothing on the parts they sell!

I was so happy a year-and-a-half ago, when I was able to find the pink rims for my brand new Kia Soul. They were affordable and they were already bright magenta pink! I paid $184 for each Rim, plus I had to get it mounted and installed myself. I was like wow. I found a steel! Not so much. Now that I've brought it to the company's attention, that the rims have stated started to fade! They say," that it's out of warranty and there's not much they can do! Other than give it to me at their cost. I'm sorry I'm on a fixed budget just like most Americans. Their cost is still $659 which is only taking $100 off the rims. So now I have to purchase them all over again. This is not acceptable! If you sell something you should stand behind its workmanship! When you buy rims you expect them to stand the test of time. Or at least the life of the car! Not fade in less than a year and a half! Maybe one rim, NOT all 4!

I will never order from these clowns again. Class III hitch was shipped in plastic wrap which is a joke for a 40 lb hunk of metal. Hitch scratched down to bare metal in multiple locations and sent it back. Multiple emails to customer service w/o satisfactory resolution. Promises made by customer service that came and went w/o any kind of follow up. Never ordering from these $#*! hats again!

Bought car seat covers based on photo… covers arrived and looked nothing like website pics. Called to exchange paid them the $115 price difference and they said they would send me return instructions and get the other seat covers out as soon as they received mine. Have contacted them 4 times since and they have sent no return instructions and refuse to refund the $115.,. Seems like they use a call center for customer service so who knows if they get the messages but ultimately it's their business and they are really doing their customers a disservice. There's hundreds of other suppliers online…. I recommend trying any of them before CARiD. Clearly they are not interested in providing service to their customers

I ordered tires for a large amount of money. I was sent a confirmation email for delivery date. The tires did not come. I called they were very rude cursing at me and told me that they will not refund the tires. I had to purchase different tires since we were leaving. They told me today that they are still being processed and won't be shipped for 8 more days. I was offered a $25 gift card for an $800 compensation. Don't waste your time here. Go to a local store or find a better one than this garbage.

Please use a different store or location. These people will take your money, not send the items and refuse a refund

They lie and say products are in stock when they are not. Immediately charge your card then ship months later. When it finally shows up, it's damaged because they think Saran Wrap will protect it (see photo). Will never do business with them again.

I ordered wheels and Tires almost a month ago 2 weeks after ordering still heard nothing about order. I submitted cancel order on their site several times over two weeks never heard anything or a confirmation now contact of any kind. So I called today to see what's going on and said I still want to cancel order and lady told me it's to late. I told her I have submitted cancel on site several times and got no reply for last two weeks. She said sorry it's to late. I'll never order another thing from this company. It's been a month and still no wheels or tires and already first payment is due! I recommend to never order anything from this company. I wished I would of seen the reviews before I ordered. They only have 3 stars so that just shows how $#*!ty their service is! Steer clear of this company. I had better luck with wheel fire the last two times I bought wheels.

Steer clear. There are better companies out there to order from

My husband ordered a pair of calipers from carid. They arrived and he put them on the car. They leaked brake fluid all over our driveway. We sent in the pictures like we were told to, and then told a refund was "impossible" as the customer representative said... when the parts were defective. We told them that we would only accept a refund and they sent out a replacement WITHOUT our approval or permission. We were literally told to accept the replacement parts and to sell them online because they refused to do a refund even though the parts were defective. My husband has used this company before but now they have lost our business forever. I will tell every friend and family member as well as our followers to NOT USE CARID. They do not honor refunds. This company scams you out of hundreds of dollars and doesn't care about their customers at all. I mean... look at the rest of the reviews.

Calipers...we had to buy another pair from a different store in the end.

I ordered a McLeod clutch kit. Was not able to get car worked on for a couple months. Once it was in the shop is when it came to light that we have the right box but the wrong clutch inside. Spoke to McLeod to verify. They said I had to go through CARID. I contacted them today. The representative said there was nothing they would do since it was beyond 30 days. I should just sell it on Ebay. Um, how would you like me to sell apart that I dont know what vehicle it would work for? Its not the correct clutch in the box. I just want to send this back & get correct one. Nope. Passed the 30 days. So I am out $353 because of a packaging problem out of my control. Ridiculous to say the least. I also have a car sitting on a lift while I get another clutch so we can put it back together. Thanks for nothing CARID…
