“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I have placed an order almost a month ago and was given an order# with a projected time frame of about 13 days given the ongoing "pandemic". Come 13 days later the status is still in processed status and yet no email or call stating why this is. I took it upon my self to call to see what the status is and I was told they have messed up my order and it was never processed. I was given a projected date of 7 more days and I should be receiving them. 7 days later I call to see if I can receive a tracking number so they don't sit outside and get stolen to be told we haven't processed your order yet there is no tracking #. With no explanation why? Just a "we will keep you updated". I will be canceling my order if no communication is received with in the next 3 days I'm done with these people I'll take my business else we're if need be.

They sold us a product they didn't have and returned the money to a gift card we no longer had. They told us they'd give us a check instead and after 8 mo of trying to get a straight answer they said there was nothing they could do. So we paid $200 bucks for no product. Beware.

I am a college student trying to make it by with and old car. I needed a rack and pinion and found a refurbished one for $167 with a core deposit of $86. Not bad... till I went back in right after I bought it to fine they replace the one I bought with a brand new rack and pinion for $150 with a core deposit of $125! I contacted them to see if there was anything I could do to get that price and pretty much told me, $#*! out of luck should have waited... I could have saved that extra money that I really did have! Or use it for gas or food.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use and inconsistent site, probably a scam.

Paid 220 for door panels that the customer service employee said Guranteed in stock. Delivery by 7 days. Well 8 days later I am told it will be 3 more weeks. Then after 3 weeks I am told another 2-3 weeks. Then I wait on hold for 20 minutes, ask for a refund and they put me on hold again. Called for hours and still never got my order and have not got my money back yet. Scam company

You won't receive your order, you won't receive a refund, they will refuse to let you speak to a manager! Several weeks of waiting on the phone for ever to get no answers from rude employees, No response to your emails! It's like chasing someone down the street that stole your wallet.

Will have to wait 35 days for a dispute on my credit card to process, which means I will have to wait another month to get the product I need for my vehicle. Gives you a real good idea of how much they like ripping people off for products they admit hasn't shipped, and ZERO reason as to why it hasn't.

I also love the cute little responses they leave on here like they care and will make it right. They don't and they won't!

This company is a stealing scam!

We purchased fog lights and a fog lights assembly and the quality of the plastic that the HID light bulbs were made from was totally unacceptable. They were hollow plastic and the teeth snapped off the first time we removed the bulbs from the assembly. I bought replacements from another company and they were solid plastic parts that worked good. This company has all kinds of fake reviews on their site as they do not allow reviews and they also do not allow negative reviews on their facebook page. Not sure how they are doing that. I had to come here to place a review.

I made a mistake in the ordering process so I had to cal CARiD customer service and spoke with Mary. I approached it as most encounters, expecting the worse, but Mary was not only very helpful but a pleasure to speak to and was very quick to address my problem. I will do business again based on my first purchase experience.

I see why these people have such bad reviews. I should have listened.

I ordered 4 kits for my BMW and only received three. By the time they sent the 4th piece out (almost a month later) my car was out the shop and painted. I was told that the part would get to me before my car would get out the shop, and within a week after the other 3 parts were sent (of course it wasn't).

So when it finally came, I tried to return it since the car shop painted over the part that the kit would have covered. Now they're telling me since they sent out two pieces (so they say) they can't give me a refund on the kit.

I have never heard of such foolishness. Stay away from these people if you don't like being cheated out your time and money.

They withheld information about shipping that cost me and extra $291.00 for next day air shipping. Then when I called and asked for an explanation I was told by a service rep." that it is what it is" I work for a business that sales accessories and installs them. We work on a professional level and require professional service from our vendors. I feel sorry for and every day customer who is working on there own projects. I will not use them again and do not recommend them to anyone

I will never but from CarID again. Absolutely the worst customers service and they make excuses for their suppliers when you call the supplier and they give you a complete different reason why you ordered a part 2 MONTHS ago and it still hasn't shipped it yet. Then when you go to cancel the order because you find out from the supply company and they tell you they received the order 3 weeks after you ordered the part(the original ship date) before they received the order from CarID. Shop you're local auto parts stores even if they are a little more but you will have a refund on the spot and not take 2 weeks to get your 3-5 day refund that I was told.

Tip for consumers:
DON’T BUY FROM THEM

Ordered a hitch for my new Jeep Wrangler JL... Customer service was great and they even went the extra mile and checked the dimensions to see if the receiver would clear the spare tire. Got an email from support with specs and a drawing showing where the receiver would be in relation to the spare tire. The wait time was minimum however, the witty sayings kept me on hold to hear what would be said next.

I will definitely order from CARiD again once more aftermarket parts developed to fit the Jeep Wangler JL.

My issue was promptly and professionally handled. Within 1 day, I received a refund on an item that I accidentally ordered and it was immediately cancelled. I recommend CarID to all my friends and will continue to use them for my trucks maintenance.

I spent almost $2,000 on a wheel and tire package from carID, and was told on the website that the estimated shipping time would be 4-5 days with possible delays of a few days due to COVID. Upon purchasing the wheels, the shipping date was estimated to be over 3 weeks! I called and tried to cancel but apparently wheels and tires are non refundable! After waiting 3 weeks I checked again and now my shipping estimate is almost 3 more weeks!

After several emails we still have not received any paperwork in order to return headlights that did not work. When you call this company or have any correspondence with them they make promises just to get you to go away. Please do not waste your money with this company. They offer guarantees they do not deliver. They are a total scam company.

I had purchased premium front and rear rotors for my vintage 1982 Mercedes Benz S Class after I had done a complete brake job including all four of the calipers, the master cylinder, the power brake booster and the flexible hose lines as well as the brake pads. I had already installed the two rear rotors when the car was totaled after driving less than 200 miles with the new brake job so I obviously could not return those. But the front rotors were unopened and still in the box because I had just not had time to install them.
So I called CarId and explained the situation to Raquel. She graciously arranged for the return and gave me credit for whatever else I want to buy.
Im planning on purchasing floor mats for my replacement vehicle, my Lincoln Town Car.

Purchased an CarID branded Alternator, Defective on installation. Went to dealer and payed since truck was down, even with a new CarID alternator. CarID will only exchange the part after I prove what the dealer saw and did. My truck was down and I needed to get it running! Now I am offered a exchange for the defective Alternator. I don't need a exchange since I had to purchase a working unit from someone else. Beware, if you buy a product that is desperately needed, you may be in for a surprise. In the end, you may own two products. The good one from another dealer that got you running and a exchange unit that you no longer need for CarID two weeks after you are up and running.

Tip for consumers:
Be aware of cheaper "Branded" automotive products. If you really need it, you may be buying two. The one that got you up and running, and the one that CarID put on your shelf because of the "Exchange" policy with no refund.

Due to time and the need for repair, I had to purchase a product from a different Dealer. Not the defective part from CarID

In some cases, pictures or additional proof of the flaw or defect may be necessary to complete the claim. Normally, any items that fail or become defective outside of 30 days is considered a warranty, which would be a replacement only.
