“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Ordered a part that was suppose to fit my car. Once I started installing it the holes didn't line up. Called customer service and they refused to refund my money due to the fact I already tried installing it. I was told I should have looked at it before installing it to ensure it fits. Even though they advertised it as being precisely made for my car. This company is built to rip people off and do not back their products. Order from a company that has good morals because this one doesn't have any.

DO not trust their website for fit, double check it on your own.
I bought a custom grill for my dodge rebel and n their site it said it would work for my truck. It just assumed that all Dodge 1500 were exactly the same but they are not. I paid 1600 for this grill to find out it is not even a close fit. Unfortunately i waited about two months before I could install this (we have 11 cars so I had to finish the other project) so when I realized this, it was to late for them to do anything I tried to fabricate it onto the rebel grill but it will not work. I did call them and explained the problem and even though their website said it was a fit, all they can say is I waited to long and there is nothing I can do. I now have to pay another $400 to get a replacement OEM grill since I follow their directions and cut mine up. Lesson learned.

I spent days looking at wheels trying find just the right ones for my truck and finally decided on a set that Car ID had on their web sight. I purchased the wheels plus a $125 shipping charge. I was excited About my purchase until three days later when I received an email from Kevin Ng stating that not only did they not have the wheels in stock but they had been discontinued by the manufacture. In Kevin's email he proceeded to suggest wheels that looked nothing like what I had ordered. Apparently he was only concerned about saving a sell. I promptly replied telling him I was not interested in buying anything from them at this point and to refund my money. Five days later he finally responds to that email to say he was sorry to hear he had lost my business and that it would take another 7-10 day to get a refund. So now I have to wait to get my money back so I can get wheels from an honest retailer. I won't ever buy from them again.

Tip for consumers:
That they don’t stock products that they sell and that the product was discontinued prior to purchasing.

Ordered my product. Then there was inconsistencies in my invoice and what was taken from my account. But then they emailed my saying they needed more money. So I inquired about the pricing and asked for a detailed price break down. No reply. So got tired of waiting and said I would like a return then. Instant reply! So my refund came back and then in the same day more than the first amount was taken. When I sent the picture in of my account they did not care in the least. It's my banks problem now not theirs. Fantastic customer service. Their product price on my bill was $296, USD should have been $375 but I was charged $383 and then $387 with no explanation or care. Thank you for your help carid and Olivia zack and in remembering that communication is key.

Just noticed they were charging me twice $14.17 for shipping. Talked to customer service and they just tried to argue with me that I was wrong. No telling how many people they scam out of money like that. And there chat support people just close the dialog on you when you are trying to explain what is going on.

Subtotal should have been $127.75 but they kept adding the delivery to the subtotal and then charging me again.

After waiting 2 weeks for a tracking number I reached out to CariD.com. They told me shipping was delayed by the manufacture even though their website says they have the Item in stock. A week later I received a UPS tracking number and thought I was good. Here we are a week later and no tracking available as the order still has not shipped, a label was created for the shipment but never shipped. I reached out to CARiD.com again and got the same story about it being a manufacturer issue and they would have an answer in 2-3 business days. It has been a month since I ordered so I took it upon myself to reach out to the manufacture and resolve this issue. Save yourself the headache of CARiD.com and buy direct from the manufacture if possible.

Do not and I repeat do not buy anything from this company. First of all it took a month or so to receive the item. I bought Some sport pedals that don't fit my vehicle, package is unopened. And they won't let me return it and get my money back. I will keep posting bad reviews on all platforms, I'll keep filing complaints and spreading the word to every i know not buy anything from them till I get my money back.

The entire ordering process showed Free Shipping. After my order was placed the receipt included $70 shipping on $80 worth of parts. I finally got someone on the phone and they told me that I forgot to enter my zip code so shipping was automatically added. That doesn't even make sense. The worst part in my opinion is the amount of the shipping charges. 10 small plastic clips... Price = $10.42 Shipping = $10.60. Front left fender liner... Price = $19.85 Shipping = $26.89. Front right fender liner... Price = $19.85 Shipping = $20.58. Same part different shipping price. LOL. There's more but you get the point. Totally fraudulent practice. I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company and rejecting the parts if they ever show..

Tip for consumers:
Stay away. Any company that would try to do this to a customer doesn't deserve to be in business.

Ordered headlights that were cracked made multiple calls for help and got run around. The customer service is not located in the USA and they seem to no nothing about cars. Stay far away from this site, there are better one, s out there that actually care.

After 60 days, CARID claims to be beholden to their suppliers since they only function as a direct shipper with no responsibility for returns. I will never do business with this company again. Zero credibility.

I ordered an ignition component for my mom's truck cause some $#*! tried to steal it and had no idea what he was doing. (You can start it without a key cause the lock cylinder doesn't lock when you shut it off) anyway... So I'm dealing with that BS and I order the parts. No big deal. I ordered them on January 28th and they just shipped out today (February 1st) only after I contacted them saying "Yo. My parts. You didn't ship them and I paid $16 in shipping. Specifically for faster shipping. Its coming from California and we all know how incompetent they are out there, but that's no excuse. I'll never use CarID again. Mark my words. ~BUYER BEWARE~ they have an 8.6 out of 10 rating through better business bureau, but a 1.4 out of 10 from customer reviews.

Don't.. just don't even.. back away slowly.. close that door.. and pretend like you never even saw it or gave it a thought..

Waiting on my returned exchanged Bull Push bar that came damaged. After an exchange and BS a new one went out UPS ground. No expedited shipping to customer. Should have it Tuesday. Let's see how this one comes. Last chance to make it right finally.

I purchased rear springs, told the salesperson the type of vehicle and year, they cross referenced it to their part number, when I received them, I immediately noticed larger diameter and overall length was 1.5 times longer than needed. When I called returns they blamed it on the manufacturer. You get passed around different operators who in the end keep saying wait for our email with your return labels its been 3 weeks of waiting and no return labels yet. Very frustrated, paid for a product that I cannot use or return. Will never shop here again!

The worst customer service. Pis for overnight shipping. Got my item 3 weeks later after dealing with customer service reps who kept telling us it would go out "that day." Rather pay more for a company that can actually help you.

Tried 5 times to get an issue resolved and each time got nowhere just more frustrated. They don't return calls and they are excellent at hanging the phone up or putting you on hold for an eternity when there is a problem. Stay away from this company they don't stand behind their parts.

Been buying from Carid. Com ever since they started up! Product line has grew tremendous! Also I notice the customer service is top notch! They resolve any issues that comes up! Yes you may find it at low price else where! But Carid.com stands behind there products.

Product descriptions on website are misleading, very poor customer service (Wayne -supervisor), and untruthful about shipping guarantees. Will lose money in the likely event that your order is not what you were sold or if you have to make a return. Unfair commercial practices

I spent over $4100 on wheels and tires from this company, after receiving them we took them to a shop to have them installed on our truck. When driving the truck on the highway it was shaking out of control. We went back to the tire shop and they did a road force test and it showed that all 4 tires were no good. I have been emailing this company since for months now trying to get a refund. Now they want me to pay another $230 to ship back BAD tires that they sold me after I paid all this money plus shipping for them already. This company is a complete rip off and practicing bad business.
