“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

This is by far the worst place to order anything for your car or truck.
They do not stand behind the products being sold. Takes forever to get the order then it does not fit they will not allow returns.
Never by wheels from them, wrong wheels are sent and they do not care or willing to hlp with an exchange or return.
By far the worst company online to buy from.

I received assistance during the entire process from my questions on products to after the purchase. A sales associate contacted me after the sale was done to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and to insure everything fit correct.

Purchased a set of wheels and tires. These wheels were completely assembled and tires mounted before shipping. I received them and noticed a screw laying on the pallet they were on. It was one of the screws that hold-on the caps. After checking them all, on one wheel 3 of the screws the threads were pulled. I'm sure the tech used a screw gun when assembling. I called and sent pictures to carid so they could ship me out and wheel to swap out. They told me since the wheel was installed and clearly I stripped out the screw when installing the couldn't not send a replacement. I could use a local shop to have the wheel repaired with a heli coil at my expense. WOW. After spending 3500. 00 with this company!

I have purchased led parking lights from carid back in the last part of November 2021 and they was malfunctioning by blinking really fast and to make long story short these people will give you the runaround. I tried to return for refund and they told me to call the people who made them and they told me they would get back with me never heard from them but i did call them they kept telling me they will get back with me, I again never heard back from them. I be aware

Inventory quantity isn't real!

They will tell you it's in stock to get your money and then a week later they will tell you that it's not in stock. Trying to get your money back isn't easy.

If you need the engine to keep a promise time, I would not use CarId

I ordered a seibon carbon fiber hood on 4/3/2020. 2 weeks later I still don't have a shipping info. Called them multiple times and they could not give me a date. My brother In-law order seibon hood 3 weeks after I did and got his hood 4/5/2020. I'm still waiting for mine. Unacceptable, and still no update on where my hood is!

Bought one rim for my Sentra (replacement) and it gets here in flawless condition, open it and 3 out of the 6 spokes had a gloss finish but my rims are all matte gunmetal so i asked Jason if i can just exchange it for one thats pure gun metal he told me Unfortunately this wheel is not returnable nor exchangeable. Aftermarket wheels do qualify as a custom product and we have no way of returning this back to the manufacturer. But Im just asking for exchange cause of of the spokes and the rim even came with a paper that said you mount it its yours. I didnt take it out the box nor mount it and I couldnt get no help. I wasnt asking for my money back... just what it was worth and even then I couldnt get it. Now im stuck with a 220. Rim and the shipping with no other 3 rims to sell as a set just one individual rim

I recently went online to get auto parts and of all the online auto parts web sites "I recommend CariD". There customer service is top notch and knowledge of part replacement is outstanding. I dealt with a customer service representative named Julio, He was very knowledgable and found the answer in seconds. I believe I am done with the local parts stores all together! Thanks CariD!

I've ordered four parts in two different orders and neither part shipped within 4 days after it was supposed to. I had to contact customer service to find out why and no one would give good answers except for we will contact the manufacturer. If the part is not in stock and available it should be noted on their website. I've asked for money in return for the delays and I was offered only a gift card for my next order. I refuse the gift card and was advised to cancel my orders and I was told it would take 6 to 7 business days to get my money back after I was notified of the cancellation. They take your money immediately after the order is placed but try to delay getting it back and all they do is apologize and blame covid.

I recently ordered a Kayak rack that was set to arrive Monday. I called UPS and they tell me that a apartment number was not provided, but on my confirmation you could see in plain sight there was my apartment number. I call the CARiD company, and they insist they provided the shipping company the correct apartment number. Long story short, the level of unprofessionalism from this company is unbelievable. Think again before you order from them.

I am a recent customer having placed two orders thus far. In both cases I have had issues with customer service. While it is not specifically with their service it is an issue with deceptive information. My first issue dealt with free shipping the website showed free shipping for the parts I ordered but I was charged for the shipping. I was refunded the money but had I not rechecked my order I would have paid for shipping when I should not have. My second issue is with the core charge for returned calipers. It is now 12 days since I returned the calipers for a refund on the core charge and still no money I called today and they told me they need 3 to 5 more days. It seems to me they can take your money pretty quickly but struggle with returning what yours

Please accept our apologies for the situation with your order, and for the frustrating experience you had.

I understand your frustration but the shipping cost varies on the destination as well as the taxes. After adding the parts to the cart you put the shipping address. The system not just calculates the shipping cost and tax, it also checks the nearest location all the parts are available at (the closest so that warehouse to get the lowest shipping price, the availability of several items at one location to have the shipment combined for free). When the address is filled in, it shows the subtotals for the item, shipping, tax separately and the grand total. If the total does not work for you, the order is not processed, no fee is hidden, just close the page or get back to the cart.

Only if the grand total works you can proceed with order and be redirected to the page where the payment information is required. Taking into account all the diversity of products, warehouses and final shipment locations across the whole US and world this is the most accurate way for us to provide the best competitive prices (of course, if you find the same part for less we match the prices for you).

We would appreciate an opportunity to improve your experience and show you that this is not the way we usually work.

After not being able to find parts for my car. Came to car id and they were more than helpful. Although I was sent the wrong part... the customer service dept was more than helpful to fix my order. I'll be shopping here again for my auto parts and accessories.

Ordered an instrument cluster on January 20th. Was told by the rep who took my order that It would have to come from an outside vendor and it would be shipped within 10 days. After hearing nothing from them, I started sending e-mails. Kevin R., I am still waiting for an answer to any of the ones I sent. Now I find out that I understood wrong, even though the email sent on the day they sucked the money off of my credit card for the part and the core charge said it would be shipped on the 27th. Now the estimated ship date is March 5th. You call customer service and an hour before closing hours, they tell you that they are closed for the day. You have to call as if you are wanting to order a part to get any help. I did get a little help form a customer service supervisor, but also found out that anyone higher than them have no interest in talking to the customers.

This is the worst experience I've ever had! We own a mechanic shop. We order ALOT online to save customers money. When I order this I talked to Johnathan. I gave him the dimension of the wipers and front grille we needed. He put me hold over 5 minutes and said he was calling the Warehouse and have them measure the parts. He came back and advised he had verified they are the dimension we needed. When we received them they are NOT the correct parts. Today I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get a refund. Would you believe they are withholding $10.50 because I refuse to send them pictures of the part #`s that he insisted his suppliers must have packed incorrectly. Who does this? How do you justify this? I will be leaving this review everywhere I can as well as sending it to BBB. This is ridiculous! NEVER ever will buy ANYTHING from you!

A lot of help from all the stuff. I got 4 parts and the great thing that they made sure that I got the right parts and they have asked me for the vin number of my car and that is top 5 star thing if you know. Very thankful

October 20 I ordered a headlight conversion kit. Was told to expect 3 day delivery. On Oct 23 I received a delay email that said it would be shipped on Oct 27. On Oct 30 I received another delay email that it would be shipped Nov 3. On October 31 I received another email that my order had been shipped with a tracking number. UPS informed me they only had a label printed with no merchandise dropped off. Nov 2 the next email said it had been shipped. Again UPS had no record of shipment. Since then I have requested a refund on no less than 5 occasions each time being assured a refund would be issued. Today (Nov 8) They sent me a label to return the item that i never received before they could issue a refund. This is like a reoccurring nightmare that never ends. Their reps are experts at giving you the runaround.! I filed a dispute with my credit card issuer. I give them MINUS 5 STARS.

The worst. I ordered a Wood trim packing for my Nissan Altima. Their website guided me to the wrong trim based onthe questions it asked. Then, when I asked to have it exchanged, said it was my fault. Best they could do is let me order a new one at a discount. Even though the company says its based on NJ, all customer support and managers barely speak English and they all are rude. Even though the prices are decent, don't be fooled. Carid.com is the worst!

I use card ID as they have great prices, not shipping costs and great service. I have ordered numerous items for different cars and always had great service. I recommend them for all your automotive needs and upgrades. I have found them cheaper that the two big automotive aftermarket giants.

I recently purchased some mudflaps and they weren't going to work so they helped me with the return process and it went smoothly. I then turned around and ordered another set that should arrive tomorrow. Fast shipping and excellent service received from all 4 reps I talked to.

Spent $4000 on Dub custom wheels... Took 6 months to get them when they told me 2. Was always gave the run around... Was always told the wrong information... Got the wheels yesterday... Wheel number 4 is missing chrome in the lug hole... Which is fn crazy 2 me... Since they were supposed to be inspected by Dub and then car id b4 I got them. I have to wait 48 hours to hear anything which 48 hours to them is weeks I'm sure. They wouldn't let me talk to supervisor. I'm about to pull my freakin hair out. If they try blaming this $#*! on me... Omg, I'm gonna loose it!

I called carid at 3 a.m. and Victor helped me purchase the correct parts I was looking for specific to my vehicle. Quickly and efficiently I place my order and was told to would be shipped to me within the week. Great service.

Ordered a cv axel for the passenger side of my 1996 Honda Accord. They sent me the driver's side. I thought I'd go ahead and change the driver's side since I had the part, then would reorder the passenger side. Put the axel in, backed my car off the ramps and there was a huge popping sound and my car, on the driver's side went flat to the ground. I looked under the car and the cv axel had come apart. I got ahold of their customer service and they acted like it was my fault their defective part broke. I sent the part back and they said it would take 24 to 48 hours after they got the part back to refund my money. They got the part several days ago and this morning I got an email saying. 3 to 5 days to get the money back on my card. Do NOT do business with this company, they are shady and won't hesitate to lie to you
