“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Carid is the best place I use for my parts and performance parts. Bret is a cool guy. Help me get my part order was not pushing and answered all my questions with no problem. So 5 stars for carid.com and 5 stars for BRET and thank you again bret for all your help.

The day after Thanksgiving, I ordered 3 items for Christmas. 2 items did not ship by their ship date - 1 week before Christmas. I was not notified of this possibility at POS nor after the ship date passed. When I checked, they said it would ship in 2 weeks. Thankfully I escalated the issue and that rep found a suitable replacement in time for Christmas. The 2nd item still hasn't shipped and has a new day the end of Jan. The 3rd item, listed as universal fit, did not fit. The 'easy return' only allowed a replacement or technical help. I had to call to make return when I was informed there was a restocking fee. After getting upset about this, the rep said it would be credited but it would take 3 business days to get a shipping label. It just feels shady. Why can't they be reputable the first time around?

Ordered a metal hood for a Gbody car, received damaged, which was not realized until the interior box was opened. The exterior box was fine, delivery driver would not stay on site to wait for the exterior box to be opened. CARiD blames the shipper, the shipper blames CARid. Me the consumer ends up with a piece of junk! Do not buy from CARid!

Tip for consumers:
After posting this review, I received a response from Carid to resolve this issue. Mila assisted quickly to refund in full my purchase in full.

Due to the peculiarities of the damage claim, the box and the part inside must be inspected upon delivery and signed as damaged if any harm is located. This is the only way for us to submit the damage claim with the shipping carrier and proceed with either refund or replacement for you with no questions asked. The information about freight delivery is also shown during the order processing as pop up disclaimer. If this condition is not met, we can no longer process a damage claim with the shipping carrier. Such a claim would be denied since there is no way to validate if the damage was caused in transit or during installation.

Ordered Spec D tail lights for a 1997 Ford Ranger. One side seemed to fit ok, the other didn't fit in the hole at all. There were 4 fitment issues:
1) passenger side does not fit correctly in the hole.
2) the light housing comes up 1/4-1/2" short where it should meet the tail gate
3) there are ears on the in the tail light hole that we're not considered in the design if this light, which I believe is causing 2&4.
4) stems are too short to use factory screws to fasten light to body from the tail gate

After contacting CARid, they have asked me three times, in a week, for pics to "prove" that there is an issue. They have a 30 day return policy and at this point they are trying to stall to have that time expire. All of the language in the emails uses Warranty and coverage, which smacks of "Buyer Beware, we don't stand behind our product". And if you send it back we won't give you your money.

DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I ordered floor mats for two cars and a customer car cover and they only sent part of my order. I ordered in June, received car cover and only front car mats for one car. One car, front and back car mats were suppose to be sent in July and never received, other car have not received second and third row mats nor cargo mat. One email received from them said the manufacture had to make them, that day has past and still no mats. So I called the manufacture up myself and they said they were in stock and how many. I've emailed and called many times and all they say is that we will check on it and get back with you. It's mid August now and still nothing. Beware of this company!

We relied on them to tell us the rim size we needed. Gave them all the necessary vehicle information. They rims we received were the wrong size. We had to pay for the return shipping and they charged us $10 per rim ($40 in total) as a "return fee". So in total we paid $100 to have the wrong rims shipped to us, $100 to ship them back and on top of it all a $40 penalty to return the rims they told us we needed to buy!

We looked into your order and figured out, that the 17" rims were ordered. We listened to the sales call, you asked what was the stock size on your vehicle application because you were going to use the factory size tires, and the agent confirmed that it was 17".
There is no agent's mistake here, because 2016 Kia Forte Sedan has 17" stock rims. We do have a very strict return policy for the rims and tires. In most cases they are non-returnable, however in your case the manufacturer agreed to take them back. The return authorization form had already been requested.

I purchased window deflectors for my 2020 BMW 750 and they were defective. I installed them properly as I had bought the same ones for my last car a couple of years ago and had no issues. These were inferior products and when I called the day after I installed them stating they were not working properly, I was told I would get a replacement set sent right away. Three weeks went by and still had not received anything. I got an email stating to send pictures of the deflectors installed on my car, which I did and then I got an email stating I must've broken them when I put them in and they will not be replaced. I said they are not broken, they are installed properly, but the window keeps hitting on the way up and they are not broken they are just defective. Never heard a thing from them since. I got stiffed from this company after spending over $1000 with them
On my last car. Bad to do business with.

Never received a confirmation email or shipment email for my order and the live chat just connects me to a robot and the call line just connects me to some survey, very sketchy go to a different site I'm about to report for fraud

Ordered running boards on January 14, waited until January 22, contacted Carid told me they were schemed to ship on January 27,2017, contacted then again on the 27th, was told they were being made and it would be another three weeks for them to receive them. More for me to get them.
Why didn't these jerks let me know when I ordered the running boards that they were out of stock, they have my money I've got nothing but bull$#*!. And now have to start from square one.
This company is all glitz and polish with nothing to offer its potential coustomers.

DO NOT SHOP AT CARID! This is such a low level, middle man company that has no $#*!in clue. All I needed was a set of 8mm cables, when they finally came... of course one of the wires dont fit. I make the call wait another week or so, still no wire so when I called them back I was told they sent me an email regarding this matter... no they sent me $#*!in spam trying to sell me more $#*!. If their prices are cheaper, it's just not worth the time and effort. Bottom line carid is NOT for car guys or gals

When I went to order my truck mats, I already had the parts number and I gave it to the salesperson. He entered the parts number, confirmed that was what I wanted and within 2 minutes order was completed. That"s the way I like doing business, straight to the order and no sale pitches. Great job!

Purchased Weather tech floor mats, Driver fit great and the passenger did not. Thought I could live with it but decided for the money I spent it should fit better. Car id wouldn't accept them back because they were past 30 days since purchase. Poor customer service, I own a business and I would have accepted them back knowing that the customer would come back over and over again!

Also I see CARid will most likely reply... they said that they would take the product back if it was new but since it had been used for a month they wouldn't. So let me ask you this, the product DOESN'T FIT, so how you can you resell it if doesn't fit the vehicle it is suppose to... so what does it matter if it's in like new condition!

I ordered a part from CARiD, and needed it in a hurry. I paid the overnight shipping fee, and they were only too glad to take my money. But then they came back and said it would take 6 days to process the order, and then it would ship overnight. I canceled the order. But they only canceled the overnight shipping, and I got email updates about the ground shipping. I called to remind them that I canceled the order, not just the overnight shipping. Their representative told me that I would have to pay half the shipping and a restocking fee, for an order that had not yet left their warehouse. It cost me $68 to not get a part from them.

Tip for consumers:
Check shipping diligently. I was told something different from each representative that I spoke to.

I was searching for accessories for my new Hyundai Kona and had found a few results. Thankfully I found CarID first. Not only did they have great selection and variety but they have amazing customization options as well. CarID was more than helpful, not only amazing selection but amazing customer service as well!

When I called CARiD to order custom floor mats, I was very pleasantly surprised with the customer service I received. Time was taken to be sure that all of my questions were answered and I was also impressed with the product knowledge my rep had. Overall, a very nice experience!

Ordered a roof rack over the phone from a representative, asked lots of questions and made sure item could be returned if needed. Was told of course you can return item, satisfaction guaranteed. Wasn't told of the requirements to be able to return item, there's always that fine print. Horrible customer service! Wouldn't allow return and now out $600.00. Please shop around and buy from a better company!

I was in the market for an aftermarket front bumper for my Silverado. CARiD had a ton of choices representing a wide variety of price points. They made it easy for me to feel comfortable with fitment. I found the bumper cheaper elsewhere and they price matched it with no questions asked. Thanks CARiD!

This company is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with, they sent me a part that was a complete lie compared to what they said it was in on their website so I returned it and I am waiting 3 weeks so far to get refunded and all they keep telling is they are waiting to get refunded from their manufacturer. I didn't buy it from their manufacturer I bought it from them but they don't seem to care. I sent pictures to them of their product and all they told me was they have to send the pictures to their manufacturer to see why the product is different then described. When you call the sales department you speak to people in America but when you speak to the customer service/ returns department they all sound like they are from a foreign country. I stress to everyone do not buy products from this company.

I ordered rims from them. My first issue is that I paid about $80 for shipping (you would think that there would be free shipping on an order over $600 but I guess not.) Even though I live in the US not too many states away from them. On the website they guaranteed the rims would fit, they didn't. So I asked for a full refund including shipping as it states you can get on the website. The customer service is extremely rude and unhelpful. The first person I spoke to was Nicole then Clint. Each email took about a week to get a response from. They gave me a partial refund. I was mind blown since I hadn't even taken the rims out of the box. Their reasoning was because I didn't force the rims on to the tires and take a picture (which would have damaged the rims then they wouldn't have given me a refund at all.) I will never be ordering from them again and I suggest you take your business somewhere reliable because that is not them.

I received what I thought was my order only to find out it wasn't. So I called and Jody helped me get it straightened out with no questions asked, and was very apologetic even though it wasn't carid's fault. Definitely great customer service skills
