“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I've ordered twice and both times delivery dates were postponed 2 and 3 times due to manufacturer backorder --Both items showed to be in stock when the order was placed. The first order was delayed several months! The "notification" email is always received after the delivery should have arrived. The first product was a carbon fiber wing truck lid spoiler for my sons car which started peeling and chipping 6 months after the year warranty! I was reluctant to purchase again from this company because of my first experience but I understand things happen etc. This time the order was for a Christmas Present which has been delayed twice now with a new delivery date of the 27th - which I am not holding my breath with actually happen, Second order same experience -- I will not order from this company again.

I have a Cadillac cts and ordered two tires due to a blow out.(this car does not come with a spare and no tire shops in town had any in stock) so my vehicle is in a very nice strangers yard awaiting a tire arrival. I ordered these tires on the 22nd and I got an email canceling my order 3 days later due to not having my item in stock... Would have been nice to know asap or even before I spent over 400 bucks with this site. Wow. Thanks. Letting the people know to have caution is the least I can do.

The reason for the low rating. I purchased one of the products from CarID.com, and wrote to them in hopes that they would assist me with a defective car stereo. I purchased a Power Acoustik® PDN726B from carID.com on January 4,2017, it shipped on January 7,2017, and delivered on January 11,2017. The motorized display no-longer has an image on it, but if I touch the screen, the system will acknowledge the touch with a beep.

I understand the 90-day warranty that exists on the stereo unit, and that it is based on the purchase date of the stereo. However, I felt I had a unique situation that may qualify for special consideration to extend the warranty period, or change the date that the warranty became effective.

On January 11,2017, I was hospitalized to have a total left knee replaced and remained in the hospital until January 13,2017. After being released, I used a walker to help with my mobility, and was required to complete physical therapy. I completed the physical therapy at the end of May 2017, and the middle of June, I was given the approval, of my physician, to resume my normal activities, providing pain did not increase.

In June 2017, I begin my preparations to install my new car stereo. The preparation included, reading the instructions and studying the wiring diagrams for the install. The install required me to make a custom spacer to get the stereo to fit correctly within the dash space. It took me a couple of weeks to complete the custom work and I completed the install at the end of June 2017.

I realize that the purchase was made in January, but the stereo unit did not even have power applied to the unit until the end of June. I asked carID to please reconsider the start of the warranty period, and allow me to get a warranty replacement for this unit?

After having surgery and it taking nearly six months to recover, I feel this is a special case that warrants special consideration, and qualifies for replacement under warranty.

CarID did provide me with a $30.00 gift card, but in the end, it cost me an additional $194.48 to get a replacement stereo for my car.

Bout rear spring bushings thy sent wrong ones orderd parts on 5-5-19 ask for refund 6-29-19 thy wont refund and parts are still in pack thy come in not dirty ask for my money back or change for the right ones thy wont do ether one this is 67.'07 thats bad to have to just throw that away. I will not ever use them again thy are doing bad business!

I dealt with Jorge on the phone and he was very helpful and patient. He waited for me to find part numbers, put together a package for me on a couple parts and he gave me the lowest price on my plow parts of anywhere online, and I searched other sites for hours. Great service. My new site to go to for all my parts.

First time buying from CarID. I was surprised how many parts they sell. I bought a floor mat from them. Shipping was fast. I got the floor mat on time. I was not happy with the quality of the floor mat. I called customer service. They were very helpful. I return the floor mat with no problem. Will definitely buy from them again.

You sent me four 4, exact number caliper covers for my Cadillac CTS. I brought it up to the dealership. They looked it, they told me they sent, CARID, the wrong part, it fits on the front calipers not the rear. I have contacted several companies they told me I have four 4, caliper covers that fit the front only. Not the rear, they are too big to fit the rear caliper. Ship me the proper cover.

I ordered brake rotors for a customer. Del date originally was five days. A week later del date was a month and a half out. No one called or emailed me. This was the first and last purchase I'll ever do on this site. Do not use this site!

I ordered Toyota Tundra 2000-2006, Red/Smoke LED Tail Lights by Spec-D. They took a long time shipping, never sent tracking information. When I called to cancel the order, I was told they shipped already, and they had to contact UPS to get me tracking number. Instead of a tracking number I get and Email saying sorry the factory has a problem and the product will ship soon. The next day I get the Taillights, and they don't fit correctly and are made very cheaply. The studs that are suppose to hold them close to the quarter panel are just pushed into plastic holes. They come out with your fingers. If you get them installed, there are gaps around the Quarter panel, and you can pull them off with one finger. There is no way I am accepting these junk tail lights. I will be returning them.

Tip for consumers:
Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great website, but that's it. Every part of my order was wrong. Every part. Wrong size rims, twice, wrong size lug nuts, wrong TPMS, which cost me $600 to replace. Just awful experience and customer service. Buyer beware!

I placed an order on December 15 and according to there website my it is supposed to ship on January 30. On January 31 it still did not ship. I called and after being placed on hold for 10 minutes I was told they expect it to arrive at the warehouse tomorrow and will ship by the end of the week. Absolutely ridiculous. I will wait till the end of the week and if it has not shipped I will cancel my order. I will never buy anything from carid again.

Wanted some samples of llyods car mats. Told me they would charge $10 for 5 samples of colors. They have now sent me 4 different packages with a fifth one coming next week with one sample ( size of a matchbook) in each package... And not one single one is a color I ordered.

Actually called auto anything.com about he same samples last week. Within a day I had each sample the size of a deck of cards. I ordered from them.

Stay away from Carid. I've asked for my money back and they refuse.

Supplied wrong product and instructed me to connect wron wires. Luckily I have knowledge or cars and did not do what I was instructed or it would have costed me the whole wire harness on my truck ($1000s of dollars). Will not do business with this company because they would no refund me the small amount of money I spend on a harness when I spent well over $800 on other products from them. They would not right their wrong.

I attempted to order wheels a month ago. Car ID said they were on backorder and I have checked multiple times on their status. Today I get told they've known they were discontinued weeks ago! I will never shop here again.

Local shop had trouble ordering an off road bumper and new head lights. I called Carid and with minutes I had the exact parts I wanted with guaranteed fitmint. I would definitely order from them again the associates were extremely helpful.

I'm having the worse experience with this company. I ordered a back bumper for my 2014 Camaro. They delivered a back bumper for a different car. I went online to chat support, and can't get a straight answer. They took my money and sent out the wrong product. Stay clear. Use other vendors. I need to get this resolved ASAP.

I ordered headlights from them at CARiD. They sent me the wrong ones they didn't fit and they were damaged I asked for my money and then he'd give me a runaround I recommend you do not use this very very poor service and the customer service people have attitudes f*** that place

I have yet to find an online store such as CarID, they never dissapoint. I have purchased various items through them and it has always been a smooth and quick process. This had no height adjustement motor or connection. This was not in the info on the carid site...
Ask for a compensation. And i get a response from carid that i don't get anything! Bad service en bad quality of products...!

Bought in channel wind deflectors for my truck, had a mechanic install them properly because wanted it done right. In channels didn't fit properly so I tried to exchange them for tape on. Spent 20 minutes on hold, then spoke with someone who put me on hold for 10 more minutes. Was told I didn't install them properly and an exchange wasn't possible. Needless to say this was my first and last time using car id
