“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

This place literally f**ked me. I've been waiting on parts for over 2 months, they've changed my ship date 3 times and only updated me the day after it was expected to ship.

These parts are to fix my only vehicle and I have been without a working car for 2 months.

I hope one day I can get a super important position here just so I can postpone their paychecks and only notify them the day after until the company absolutely tanks

Ordered a dash kit on 5/23, said it would ship on 6/28, it did not. Called Carid after I did not get a shipping conformation, they said they called the manufacturer and there was a delay, which is fine, but they could have let me know. New ship date was 7/09, did not receive an order conformation, called carid AGAIN, every time I speak with customer service they say they cannot get ahold of the manufacturer! Really?
So, nobody has a clue as to the status of my order. Guess I just donated $250.00 to Carid. Never again!

Bought a new set of hostile Stryker wheels for my 2012 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD from carid. Dealt with Juan. Super super gentleman to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and nice gentleman. When I received my wheels everything that he said I would get with them were there and all packages were in fantastic condition. I will be buying more and more parts for my truck from Juan and using carid. Thank you guys

I placed the order on Thursday they told me on Monday that the part was going to ship and I'd get a tracking number in 24 to 48 hours. I called them on Wednesday and they gave me the same answer. I called them on Friday and they said they could'nt get a hold of the factory in Florida to find out if my part was going to be delivered. The factory that makes these parts is in Germany. After waiting 8 days and no tracking number I canceled my order and requested a refund I'll be back to let you know if i dont get my refund.

The order number is *******. Confirmation email was received on Wednesday that the cancellation was processed and final step for refund was under way. Then received an email on Friday that the order was shipped.

ApologeticI initially called to place an order. I was given the run around about the shipping date. It took longer than I needed to get the part. I called to cancel the order. The next day I received an email that the order cancellation has been processed and I will be receiving a refund shortly. Two days later I get an email that the order has shipped. When I called back, I was told that they will refund me the cost of the item minus the shipping cost. I complained to the customer service supervisor who was not very apologetic.

I too wish I had read these reviews prior to placing my order. If you need anything in any type of a hurry, stay FAR AWAY from CARiD. I received a standard 7-10 business day "estimate" on when my product would actually ship out. On the 10th day (Friday) I reached out, but nobody could confirm if it would actually ship when it was supposed to. Monday comes and I receive a "Delay Notice", they're going to need another 7 business days to ship my order. They knew that Monday morning, but couldn't communicate that on Friday afternoon,,,,, BS! In the day and age of express delivery, why wait for a company that will take at least a month before you receive your item? On top of that, customer service is absolutely non-existent. Never again!

Tried to get a refund because the product I ordered was out of stock and wouldn't be back in stock for a while. I emailed them and called them many times. Took almost 2 months for me to get a refund. I will never again go through them. Absolute worst business I've ever gone through

I ordered tires, immediately realized they were wrong ones. I called right back to cancel and was redirected to sales, where they couldn't get me what I wanted and they made me call back again to cancel. Next guy i get on the phone says, maybe they can cancel, no assurances, takes 3-5 days, blah blah. Next email i get says it has shipped and gives me tracking number! I have been on the phone with my Amex to dispute charge and now CARID and they are such total BS. Do not buy from them!

Very impressed with CARiD! After I ordered my set of wheels I received and email with concern that they might not clear my calipers. So I was able to call in and speak with Kevin, and this guy was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with the choosing of my wheels. He also made the process of working out the difference and since I went through affirm he said not to worry about the switch over and that he would take care of everything. All i had to do was pay the 90 dollar difference and I could keep my same payments with affirm. I can't thank Kevin enough and CARiD for all the help and will post a review as well when I receive my wheels.

The product that was shipped to me was exactly what it was stated it would be, at the cost it stated it would be and arrived at the time it stated it would be. Hard to find a company anymore that gives you what you want the first time. Everything was great and I love the way it looks on my Envoy,

This is my go to place for parts I specifically make sure to use Joseph Ortiz that dude easily one of the most skilled and helpful as well as knowledge customer service / parts / car person I have had the pleasure of dealing with I go to CardID because of the service commit and understanding they offer. I have order twice from them this month already and will be ordering again fairly soon. This is the place to go look elsewhere if you like just know they will match if not beat the prices.

Order a pair of side steps that stated 5-7 Shipping time. Though I assumed they would be received in that time, turns out they werent shipping until then, meaning I wouldn't get for another week after. I called Car ID and cancelled that order and upgraded to a more expensive pair that were in stock with 24-48 hour shipping time. 4 Days later I got an email that my tracking info was available and the item shipped... however, the only status update I have, 7 days later is that a label was created. Nobody has any idea where my item is, if it shipped, and getting a hold of them is a nightmare. 3 week process over all and I still don't have my side steps. I will never use them again.

As a customer service manager for a major manufacturer for over 30+ years, I feel Jacob displayed professionalism related to product knowledge. That display is vital as a front line representative of the success of a company. GOOD JOB JACOB! I hope other sales reps will follow his lead.

First I'd like to say that if I could choose zero stars I would. The service and follow up that I have received since contacting CARid has been terrible. The problem stems from a $900 product that was sent without all of the components. It has been two weeks since I have contacted CARid about the problem and the only follow up that I have had has been is when initiated it. The customer service is the worst I have ever received after a sale. CARid has put the problem back on the manufacturer and will not refund or replace the other product.

I called to ask about a harness bar. Jorge took the time to make sure it would fit in my car and even let me know that it came in different colors (which I didn't know). To my surprise the bar wasn't going to fit and so Jorge looked up a comparable bar that would fit. If not for Jorge's quick wit and judgement I would've received the wrong bar and that would have delayed my overall ground up build. Thanks again Jorge!

This is an update to my post of 8-12-18. I sent the brake pads back to CARiD a week ago and have yet to receive my refund. The return authorization they sent me wanted me to certify the pads were in their original packaging, weren't installed, and were not damaged. As you can see by the photos attached, I refused to sign their RA and instead created and signed a statement that accurately represented my experience. I have also attached a photo of the brakepads showing their degradation after ONE test drive. CARiD fails to understand the defect would never have been discovered had the pads not been installed and the vehicle test driven. Your move, CARid...

I purchased a set of Chrome Brakes rotors, Bilstein shocks and brake pads from
CARiD several weeks ago. Finally got my car to the shop to have them installed. When I went to pick up my truck, the service technician showed me the brake pads had MELTED onto the rotors and that my car was unsafe to drive. I kept the rental car for an extra day, as the shop sent the rotors out to be resurfaced. I called CARiD to complain about the brake pads and they asked me to send photos, which I did, I asked to return the brake pads and for my money back ($76.85) as well as reimbursement for the $40 rotor resurfacing and the $35 rental car fee. They refused to reimburse me for the defective pads, rotor resurfacing and rental car fee and only offered me $30 as a refund and a $15 gift card, which I refused. I went back and forth via e-mail with several different customer reps, with two of them telling me the $30 refund / gift card was "the best that they could do". Apparently, CARiD is in dire financial straits, because they were unwilling to reimburse at the least the $76.85 i paid for the defective brake pads. Maybe they needed the money to pay their crappy customer service reps. It has been my understanding that in business, Rule #1 is "the customer is always right" and Rule #2 is "if the customer is wrong, see Rule #1". This is not the case at CARiD. I will not be doing business with them again.

Do not i repeat do not ever buy anything from this company. Bought a fuel sending unit for 96' vette. Even the Chinese would be embarrassed at what a piece $#*! this thing is. Missing parts, wrong parts and unit didn't even fit. The return process is a nightmare. If cardid feels like it they will send me a RA number to send back within 5-10 days. They have to get authorization from there vendor first. That's the biggest bunch of bull$#*! i ever heard. I didn't buy this from there vendor i bought from CARDID. This company is a joke.

Shipped the incorrect item that I ordered. I had actually had questions and wanted to speak directly with someone. Good luck with that! You can spend hours trying to reach someone and then on hold. You can hold to hokey music and a man educating you on trivia. I really even would have ordered the replacement product however after this experience I won't order anything ever again!

The lady said over and over again, the right item will be sent again. The wrong item just arrived today. My wife and I really needed this and the lady doesn't know what's she's talking about. Aqua Max does not work as good as Aqua Kem. We wanted Aqua Kem.

I was trying to get a military discount on my pending order. I jumped on email and asked for the discount to be added to my order and my profile. It happened very fast and Grazelle was a absolute professional and joy to work with. I will definitely do business with this company again not only for supporting veterans but also for the great customer service that is hard to find these days. Thanks Grazelle and CARiD.

Web site stated part was available and they ship to military APO address (outside US). Site said there may be a 1-3 delay on shipping due to COVID. No order confirmation. 12 days later received shipping confirmation with my correct address and a note saying COVID may delay shipping 3-5 days. 2 weeks ( later 4 June) I checked USPS and it said part delivered to CARID address on 1 June. Contacted them and was told part not in their supply, they ordered it and manufacturer did not ship to APO address. They would ship it within 1-2 days. Now 6 June and no shipping confirmation. Misleading information on web site, poor customer communications and service, and long delays in fulfilling order. Might cost you $1-2 more, but worth it to find another source.

CARiD price matched a pair of Off-Road lights I found cheaper on a different website just by using the chat feature and providing a link. The rep created a link in the chat so I can just click and pay for the lights, and they were on my way the very next day. Loved it!

Slowww... Took 3 days just to process the credit card. Another 2 weeks for a shipping date. Shipping date was extended further twice. Now they want another week. It will be a month and a half for me to get my order. 45 days. No thank you. You have my money in your bank, while you don't even have the products in stock that youve sold me. So I pay you... You order products. Wait weeks, with constant delays to sell a product you don't even have. I believe that is fraud. This company either uses offshore call centers or non English speaking reps. The chat agents don't even know the language. I don't believe this is a true company. It just takes orders and takes the money, then buys you a product from the manufacturer, who ships it to you. Good gig, but they're not even handle it efficiently what so ever.
