“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I ordered 2 items from this co. Supposedly free shipping. When I clicked buy. There was a 54.00shipping charge. So I immediately within 5 minutes canceled order and got a confirmation of cancelation from the virtual customer support saying it would take 3-5 days for refund. So I waited. Not only did they not refund my purchase but shipped items anyway. Then when called was told not only did I have to pay shipping of 54.00 but return shipping now also to get refund. I will never do business with this company again, and have filed a dispute with my cc Co. Discusting treatment of customers.

Cancellation is a two-step process and requires confirmation on the manufacturer's end in order to avoid any further complications. As the normal turnaround time for cancellation is 3-5 business days, we are unable to guarantee cancellation if the product's shipping date is set on the same day or the following one as sometimes products are shipped faster than expected. I needed some break pads and wasn't sure what was the best for my car but the salesman was a great help and got my parts before the date they said great service and I will be ordering from them again.

Ordered a extension from this company and after two weeks and numerous emails they still couldn't even locate it. I finally had to call for a refund and order from a different company. Will NOT recommend ordering from them to anyone

Two weeks ago I requested a Return Authorization on a wheel that was not the correct match for my vehicle. I was told, i would receive a confirmation email along with RMA and Printable UPS label for the return shipment. Neither has arrived. Called Customer Service again today, was transferred to a part of business that would not allow you to speak with a customer service agent. So far this experience has required 3 phone calls back to CARID, still no resolution, and no I am waiting again for a call back. There are lots of options for this type of merchandise on the internet, run far away from this one as fast as you can.

Wheels came quick. On website it say free install kits. Well 10 days after wheels got here, i called. They guy said that they should have been sent with wheels and he would overnight them. Well no emails came with tracking number. I called again and they said they would get me the trackimg number. Still nothing. I called and asked to talk to a supervisor and got hung up on. 15 days and no install kits.

I attempted to order a Harwood 4116 hood scoop that sells everywhere else for the same price as offered by CARid. Other sellers such as Jegs and Summit ship the item for $40, and some smaller sellers ship for $64. I only checked CARid because I was lured in by a $0 shipping offer. As I went through the checkout process, shipping showed FedEx Ground at $0, but then WHAM the shipping changed to $176. I chatted with 2 representatives who both told me that the shipping price was because they stock the item and they inspect each item before shipping. Are you kidding me? Because I was upset, the last rep offered me her employee discount of $6.17. Wow, that's going to make a difference. I really feel as if this company is gouging on shipping and using shipping prices as a way to make a profit. I have order from CARid in the past, but WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! What a scam... buyers beware!

After adding the parts to the cart you put the shipping address. The system not just calculates the shipping cost and tax, it also checks the nearest location all the parts are available at (the closest so that warehouse to get the lowest shipping price, the availability of several items at one location to have the shipment combined for free). When the address is filled in, it shows the subtotals for the item, shipping, tax separately and the grand total. If the total does not work for you, the order is not processed, no fee is hidden, just close the page or get back to the cart.

Only if the grand total works you can proceed with the order and be redirected to the page where the payment information is required. I ordered a part tha t did not ship when promised. I cancelled the order and two days later they charged me and shipped the part. The part was damaged because the vendor BENT the part to fit it into a smaller box. I had to contact the BBB to get my refund because CarId said it would take at least 120 days! Do not buy from them! Customer service is rude and will not work woth you at all to resolve issues!

Looking for a bed cover for my truck I clicked the convienent chat feature the site provides. Within seconds I was speaking to Laura. She asked a few questions about my vehicle and within a couple minutes found the correct cover for my truck... Good customer service is hard to beat. Thanks for the great job

I placed my order over the phone to make sure it would be correct. They sent me the wrong harness connections to fit my new headlights to my truck. They left me with no vehicle after body shop repairs because I had no headlights to install. I called them and said they needed to send the parts overnight so I could leave on a trip or I would just return everything. They gave me a laundry list of what I would have to do to return them and would not send the parts out until I sent pictures of what they sent and what my truck has. They are the ones selling headlights shouldn't you know what you sold me and what my truck has for a plug. So these 550 headlights cost me an additional 200 for a rental car and 150 for someone to get the correct harness connection and install.
So many other options save yourself the frustration.

I ordered something from carid, and i got the wrong item, so i wanted to returned it, so looked up on how to return an item, and i had to submit a request return. I called and i submitted it, they told me i was going to receive a shipping label on my email withing five minutes of the call, i've been waiting for three days, and i haven't got the email yet. They are the worst, stay away from CARID. I will just keep using amazon and ebay.

I had an issue with an ebay order where I could not order more than 1 unit and I needed 8. I clicked confirm and BOOM, order was placed for 1. I knew timing was an issue, so I immediately called CARid customer service (was on hold for 30 min) and Raquel answered the call. She did an outstanding job of finding my recent order (not easy since it was an ebay order) and changing it to 8 items. Thanks Raquel!

Going through this company especially talking to Aziz. I tried to get a Borla adapter pipe somewhere else but found out that it was back ordered. So I called Carid and Aziz made sure they had what I needed and made sure it was in stock. Also the linked I clicked for Carid said free shipping on the order and then come to find out I was going to be charged $14 for shipping, but Aziz fixed that too.

My order was *******... I have been dealing with this for 4 days... I am happy to return the parts... I have the labels to do so... but as I have told everyone at carid... one of the pieces is damaged because I started installing before I realized that 4 of the pieces were the were wrong.
This is the second kit I have installed so I really had no need to dryfit everything prior to installing.
All I want is a replacement kit or my money and shipping costs refunded.

No thing but lies.
Car id shipped the wrong mirror. Called car id and advised that the mirror was not the right mirror.the person who answered the phone advised me that he is going to ship the mirror an the return slip for the wrong mirror and will handle it a. S.a. P.
A weak later i called and the person who answered the phone advised me that they have to receive the wrong mirror i have before shipping the mirror. She said ther will be an acception and will ship the mirror asap. And she said look for the tract # on my email. Two weeks later nothing happened.
I emailed the company and called numerous times.
This is the forth week with out a response or refunding the money.

My advise no to order from this company. This company nothing but lies, and crocks.
All they care about to take your money, after taking your money they do not care what is going to happen.

I had originally recieved a damaged box and bumper. At first, the company said there wasn't much they could do since UPS was supposed to have someone sign for it and they did not. It wasn't until after I gave them a terrible review on here that they decided to send me a new bumper, free of charge and shipping. They were also asking for a better review. I'm grateful they had made the problem right, seeing that I did spend over $300 for the SRT10 bumper. I also do not think they would've done so if I hadn't given them a poor review. Make sure you know exactly when your package is being delivered so you can refuse if if it is damaged.

The parts arrive (slow shipping) and I unboxed everything. Appears to be correct. I mounted all the running board brackets and applied the running boards. WRONG MOUNTING KIT! Frustrated, I contacted Carid and they were clueless in understanding the issues. Picture and photos sent yet no-one understood the they sent the wrong mounting kit. After 2 hours of phone calls trying to get resolved. I cancelled order and found iBoard on eBay and purchased. Stay away as this foreign driven company is clueless.

Be careful ordering anything from CarID.com. Had I read the reviews first I would have never purchased from them. I bought some wheels from them since they include the hardware needed to mount them. They sent me 14x1.5 bolts that do not fit my 05 clk55. They had the car info and have a fitment guarantee until they send you the wrong parts. Then they want to you to take pictures and wait 24-72 hours for someone to get back to you. When I asked why they would do this over some bolts I stated to get a repeated canned response. I asked to return the wheels so I could take my business elsewhere and they said they are not returnable.

I ordered a toolbox for my truck as you can see on this site there is a filter to search parts i did and they sent me a tool box 6 inches to wide. I contacted the service department and they told me i have to pay for shipping and handling. Bbb Is now looking it to it, but its a shame they wont wven return items they messed up

Bought coilovers and struts for my truck told me 4-6 weeks and would have next day air guaranteed. So doesn't show after the 6th week I call and was promised a $400 refund to my checking. Never showed. So I cal back and they inform me they never said that. They said 8-12 week's. BULL$#*!! 13 week's in now and still have not recieved my order..

So i ordered sum parts. Recieved 3 notifications of delays. Decided to cancel the order due to delay. Well i cant get my money back or even a notification of the order cancellation in a timely manner like other companies. Have to wait 24-48hrs to know IF i get my money back when i dont even want their product anymore. What a ridiculous procedure, i call it THEFT

Ordered Foose wheels from this site. They take my money and then inform me that these wheels are backordered for 3 to 4 months. What? They offer me some replacement American Racing wheels that were in stock if I liked. So, in stock, I went for it. Well, after waiting a week, I called to find out that the wheels won't be shipped in two weeks! For in stock wheels? So I wait out the two weeks & realize I'll be out of town for the shipping. So I called & promised to send out the following week. Upon my return, I see no shipped wheels. I called again and was told they were short handed. Maybe a few more days. So I waited a couple & called my credit card company. Next day, they shipped the wheels! Refused delivery. These guys suck!

Tip for consumers:
Stay away....they must keep shopping around until they find a price THEY are happy with.

PS I challenged them with the credit card company and won. No more CARID!

After over a month and talking thru email to four or five different customer care personnel. They r now trying to tell me the caliper was sent back to me and I couldn't get my core refund. Yet I never recieved the part back and the company gave me no explanation as to y it was sent back where it was sent or what the tracking number on the package was. Jus another company taking advantage of hard working ppl and throwing all morals out the window to make a dollar.

I thought I would order through them since the price was so low, it's not. They found every excuse to charge me more money before sending the product I ordered. After a month of waiting nothing had showed up so I emailed asking what happened, one item was back ordered 4 months so they weren't gonna send either part until then. I requested them send the one and they refused. I got tired of arguing with them over the part so I asked for a refund and only got half of my money back and they couldn't give me a reason why. Two months after waiting the taillights finally showed up, one didn't work. I sent them back and got charged another $100 as if it was my fault they didn't work. Still haven't received the replacement part. An order that should have been $300 turned into about $500-$600.
