“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

After a rocky start due to a confusing product description and initial customer service interaction, I must now write a positive review due to a very pro 2nd effort follow up by their customer service team. The issues with the product resulted in a partial refund and a site credit. Very nice work to solve a customer issue.

I called into CARID with questions on floor mats and seat covers. Nerlayn was very helpful with fabric plushness, durability, and product availability. None of the customer service representatives were pushy or quick to get a sale, they focused on answering my questions. The seat covers are shipped, and I will be ordering the floor mats soon.

ORDER #4200**** I order a Draw-Tite Class 2 Frame Trailer Hitch Part Number: *******. Received the hitch Jun 22 2020 full of scratches because this item was sent to me with no protection, no box please look all the images, I had a plan to put the hitch in my car to go away for the 4th of July six days later my problem is not getting resolve now I will have to open a dispute with my credit card. Not a reliable company to do business.
User's recommendation: Don't buy from this company, customer service won't help you.

I am writing this review in regards to Frank Boyle. I had some questions about some wheels and tires that I will be ordering in the future through CARid. Frank was amazing and answered all of my stupid?'s with ease. I even sent him an email the next day with an additional question about TPMS sensors for my car and he replied in a very timely manner. I recommend Frank Boyle if you call into CARid with wheels and tires questions.

I had to go through PayPal to get my refund after CARiD strung me along for weeks. I initially thought they were professional and courteous, but after four attempts to get them to verify that I had returned all of the items in my order, they continued to say I would only get a partial refund until they had received all of the items. I shipped all items back in one box via UPS and had the tracking number and weight. They failed to contact the manufacturer to verify the items had been returned despite numerous follow-ups by me, over several weeks. CARiD is the source of the problem, not the manufacturers.

I ordered Coosa Composite board for a marine project. The item has a ship date of the next day. I waited a week and called as I had not recieved a shipment notification. Customer Service put me on hold to contact the manufacture, she came back and informed me that I would have tracking number in next 48 hours. 3 days pass and I receive an email from CARid (Richard) stating that they could not fulfill my order product had been discontinued. I called the manufacture from their website and found this to be NOT TRUE. I believe they could not get the same pricing as before so they just lied. BTW, the product is still up on their webpage. I ordered it from another site.

So now after I called and you said there is nothing that could be done on the phone and to send them back and I would get a web site credit. Now that I go and write a bad review now something can be done YEA RIGHT! I put them out in the trash and you can shove you exception up your $#*!! I post all over about you guys!

Bought a pair of seat covers for a express (cutaway) back in March we just got the truck back from service and custom fab on it. We go to put the seat covers on not even close to fitting. I called them and said could I just exchange them. She said we don't even make them for a cutaway but I was never told that when they shipped them. I said can I get a refund they said you are past the 30 days I said ok but you don't even make the correct ones and you took my money! She said I can give you a $50 website credit and you can send them back (are you $#*!ing kidding so you can sell them again) Thew them in the trash! We have a very large service company and will be letting our customers know the story!

Tip for consumers:
Worst company to deal with they never pick up the phone. Def shop other places

If I could give 0 stars I would, I called asking for some rims options for my project truck (a 96' Chevy K3500) and the customer sales rep guided to some fuel rims that "would fit my truck" so I ordered them based on his guarantee they would fit my truck. It has taken me a while to get my project truck back together and I tried to install them today and they don't fit, not even close. They have a +1 offset and I need at least and -20 offset. I just got off the phone with Justin and he said because of the lapsed time, no matter if his guy sold me the wrong product that he wasn't going to fix their mistake and there was nothing he was going to do about it. RIDICULOUS! I will never buy any more parts for my trucks from here ever again! Do yourself a favor and order from someone who cares!

Purchased a set of steering stabilizers from Carid that came with a 3 year warranty. I contacted Carid informing them the parts have failed and needed a warranty replacement. I was told the parts were out of stock and they would be sending me a reimbursement check in 7-10 days. This was back on January 20th 2023. Waited well beyond the 7-10 days they claim it takes a envelope to go from NJ to Ca. Nothing. When I called regarding the matter every single person I spoke to on the phone or email is just a fat mouth liar. On April 28th I received a check in the mail that I soon found out was not honored by Carid's bank. Called again and it was the same story. A check is being sent on a certain day and to wait 7-10 days to receive it. After being told the same bs from 5 different people at Carid I was then sure I was dealing with a bunch of $#*! birds. I wouldn't use this establishment ever again. Hopefully they go out of business sooner than later.

They mounted and balanced my tire prefect. The after market sensor they do not understand they have to but it in the smart pro tire reader and program it before installing. Now i have to pay $150 to get it done and they only whant to give back $90. Two days to speak to a manager very poor cust service.

I called into customer service intially because the website didnt list a ship or expected delivery date when ordering; Kelvin was extremely helpful with answering my questions and placing my order. However, the longer I wait to get my tires (the ship date keeps getting pushed back), the more frustrated I become with this online store. If I had of known it was going to take over a week to get my tires in, I would have just gone to a tire store and bought something off the shelf. Ive been driving around on a donut for a week now and still dont have my tires.

Called for help on buying 2 Giovanna Dalars (all black) for the rear of my 2012 Charger RT to stagger them. Got Sal on the phone. He was rude and unprofessional. Told me I could only buy a set of wheels from them. Even bashed WTW corp (Giovanna Wheels) on how they do business. Needless to say I I have lost respect for Car ID for putting this guy on the phones to represent the company. I'm not sure if Id do business with them in the future.

If I could give it a -4 stars I would. Very very slow at everything, bought a part 10 days ago and they still cant tell me if it will ship. Tried to cancel the order to buy same item on Amazon and spent a half hour on the phone just to cancel. The hold music mocks you about how slow they are. I work in distribution and not sure how this company stays in business. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have never experienced such poor service from a company. I tried to return some spyder headlights because they did not fit, as well as the LED's were bad. They would not accept them. I also ordered some Fabfour steps from them as well, and they came with deep scratches all over them. No return either. This was close to a thousand dollar order.
Hopefully this company will be taken of the market as a reputable company and people will not purchase anything from them.

I ordered some tail lights for my car and had mechanic install them only to find out that they didn't operate they why they were supposed to. After some digging I found out that the parts where JDM. It would have saved me a lot of time and money if they put that in the description of the part. Also (and this was the last straw), I ordered a rear brake kit and took my car to the mechanic. Turns out the brake pads where too big for the calipers, the brake lines were leaking, they have yet to provide me a refund for that labor or a exchange for the defective part. I am sooo annoyed and frustrated with this company and the inferior products and service they provide. Shop some where else. Take my warning!

I called and ordered a set of brakes and roters for my Audi A7. They sent me the wrong brakes the first time. Then they just sent me a used set of brakes that have clearly been installed and used on a car. To make matters worse. They just threw everything into a box and shipped them to me. All of the brackets are bent and smashed. I wish I would have read all of these reviews before I bought.

I ordered wiper blades for an audi that said on the site would fit. The blades came with an extra adapter for ptb fitting. Simply they did not fit. So I called to return because of the "no hassle returns" they said I would have to pay for the shipping for the return or send pictures to PROVE that it did not fit. Also they would have to call the manufacture. If they were so sure that the wiper blades would fit, they wouldn't have to call the manufacture to verify fitment. They would simply say, yes the manufacture verified the fitment prior to us saying it fits on our website. This is ridiculous, it's not hard to install ptb fitting wiper blades and these simply do not fit. So I said F it, ill eat the cost of shipping for the return and will never buy from CARID.com EVER again. RIP OFF, no such thing as hassle free. They did not care.

Stay away from this company, they first double billed me for a set of fender flares, I only needed one set (4 flares) they charged me for two sets (8 flares). I ordered unpainted flares and per the company representative, I was told the flares were OEM and would fit and just needed to be painted. Flares arrived and sent to auto body shop to be painted and installed. However, the flares did not fit an F-250 (too long) and the company now refuses to provide an authorization for return. Everyone, I spoke with, had an accent and I had to repeat the problem a number of times. They could care less about customer satisfaction. Buyer beware. Purchase from a more reputable company. WJM

They break each item out of the order and charge separate shipping. Sent a request to cancel 2 minutes after placing an order and received an email stating that items might ship before they are able to cancel. Even Amazon is not that fast in shipping. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

This company is an absolute joke and total scam company! I purchased a rear truck window for my 2013 Tacoma. When it came I took it down to a licensed dealer to have it installed. The window came defective and they were not able to install it. I contacted CarId to report the problem to them and after 5 months of me constantly contacting them, I finally received an email stating that there is nothing wrong with the window and they will not refund my money. A licensed window dealer told me the window is defective. Be AWARE of this SCAM COMPANY!

Placed an online order with them for some rims, tools, and wheel locks. The last 2 items shipped with no problem. 2 days after my order I got a email stating my Rims SHIPPED. I look up the tracking info the following day only to learn a "label CREATED". I contacted them & confirmed order hadn't shipped & wouldn't ship until 1 1/2 weeks later. They refused my refund request & offered a $50-75 discount on a $1k+ order. Not too mention was very rude & confrontational. So much for the "customer's always right" philosophy. NEVER again!

I ordered set of tail lights and a third brake light. The tail lights they sent out relatively fast got them within a week. They gave me the same tracking number for both items so naturally I thought both were shipped in the same package. But I was wrong. I got the tail lights and realized the other light was still messing so I emailed them, they asked to allow for 48-72 hours so they can find out what was going on. I waited over a week and still had no reply so I emailed them again still no reply. Finally ended up calling them and within 5 minutes they were able to tell me that the other part was on backorder and I wouldn't get them for over a month. I have no idea why they couldn't respond immediately instead of wasting my time. My guess is they were just hoping that I'd forget about it so they could keep my money.

Yea they seem nice, yes While you are on hold the recorded machine will tell you funny jokes and with all courtesy tell you to wait your turn and maybe you will run into decent customer service but this company doesnt actually deliver. You will be promised on thing but in the end the order itself which is why you are shopping wont be fulfilled untIl weeks on end. Lets not even try and cancel a order because if you do all they will say is that the manufacturer may ship before theh get the cancellation notice. Cant return or get ur money back. This company should be investigated by the BBB
