“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I recently purchased a spoiler from CAR ID and received it pretty fast. I had to return the item 3 times due to defects. The same exact defects. Price was lowered on this item and then sold with defects. Great scam and trick.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, You will regret it. Check reviews online.

This place is a joke, if you order multiple things they will not package them together, no they will charge you an exorbit fee for each package on the shipping, and if you want to cancel an item you have to call them cancel it, wait for a email some days later confirming that you canceled it and your refunds on the way, and then wait and hope they actually return it, and not ship it out to you, because you don't get your shipping change back when you return something, and have them make the excuse oh it was already shipped out, even though they confirmed it wasn't going to ship out for another week when you cancel it.

We purchased 6 NEW wheels from carid in August 2020. It is now January 2021 and we have contacted carid, submitted complaints to our credit card company and to paypal and so far we have NOT received a refund or replacement wheels that are constructed well enough to be used! We are now filing a complaint with the Kentucky State Attorney General! We will also be advising the Kentucky State Attorney General's office to look at how many complaints are listed on this site and others! SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF HEADACHE AND AGGRAVATION--DO NOT BUY FROM CARID!

LOOK AT ALL OF THE REVIEWS ON CAR ID!! OUR PROBLEM IS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH CAR ID!! CAR ID HAS A LOT OF REVIEWS WHICH TELL JUST WHAT A MISTAKE IT IS TO EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

I always order everything I need for my car on here and normally get it sooner than they say great quality never had a problem with anything love the great customer service and love the rewards they give back for being a loyal customer I love this site I recommend this site to everyone

I made a $1,100 purchase about a week ago on some rims and tires. Carid stated they were a 100% fitment on the website and on the phone with a sales rep. Three days after making the purchase, I received an email informing me that the rims will not fit after all. They provided two links to some other cheap rims stating I could have these instead. The worst part, carid didnt even figure out my rims wouldn't fit. Konig informed them they wouldnt, when they contacted them. Now im waiting for my refund. Save yourself the time and hassle. Tirerack.com is the way to go.

I previously ordered some speakers from them and had no issues. Then I order a subwoofer a week later. I get a call 3 days later saying there is an issue with my billing address. I tell the lady that it took them 3 days to call me about the issue. Not only it took them 3 days to contact me but they kept charging my card 1$ X 3. I tell them to cancel my order which they did then they charge me 1.49$ to my account. I call to ask why and they tell me cause it was there system charging my card that it would be reversed. I asked why did they charge my card after I canceled my order. She just kept repeating the same non sense. The last time I will deal with those POS!

I purchased a bumper per there price after a month of looking. I recieved a receipt and charged on my card. Then about 4 days later they text me saying the purchase had been canceled and I would get a refund, because there computer was wrong and they didn't charge me enough. They messed up. Then I called about 4 times before I talked to someone after I complained they told me a supervisor would get in touch with me in 24 to 48 hours. They never did. If you notice there over all review averages aren't that great. Wouldn't trust.

I ordered headlight bulbs from this company, and the ones I got arrived broken (both of them had broken protective glass on the bulbs).

(This is an update to the original review.) So, I sent the defective bulbs back and they sent me a new pair of headlight bulbs. These ones seem to be working ok so far. Only had them 2 days so far tho.

I only gave them 3 stars because of the first order was defective.

I ordered G7S LED Conversion Kit (9006 / HB4) (9006HLC-G7S) by Lumen®, and I assume that's what I got. The lights are pretty bright, color white with slight bluish color. They are brighter than our 2017 Leaf's headlights, but the Leaf does not have LED headlights.

I was in the market for a set of vossen cvt wheels but not sure about offsets. I called carId and the rep was very helpful. I explained the look I was going for and he gave me his suggestions. I could not order the wheels from work due to site being blocked. Before the call was done I received an email with the wheels I wanted as well as an reference number so I could complete the order later. I did and the communication has been great. I just received an email from the rep Fred regarding the shipping date for my wheels. Overall I would definitely recommend CarId to anyone for the automotive needs.

I ordered a bumper on december 12th 2014. My account was immediately debited for the amount, and I rteceived a confirmation. A week later I received another note that there would be a manufacturer delay. Fair enough, that's beyond their control. Next thing I received ws a notice a full month later that OOPS... they charged me the wrong shipping, and needed to charge another $550 to ship. This total would be over $2000 for a bumper! I consider carid to be one of the wortst companies I have dealt with in a looong time!

This was my first order with carid and it was a great experience, from the product selection to the customers service. I received my order on time and as described. I made a call to customer service after receiving my order about installation and was greated by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff member named Yoselyn whom took the time to address my concern. She was patient and thorough. She made my experience a great one.

Bought PT# spyder BLK-DR94-LED-SM fair price until shipping $13.00, Finally got part in a little over a week went to install and wires were not in the plug of the so called plug and play. Contacted carid my answer was go to a body shop no help from them or spyder.
Spyder does not even list the high mount brake/cargo light on their web site and since it is supposed to be plug and play no instructions.

Carid supposedly easy return policy is a joke no help from customer care just a bunch of BS never ever do business with these people

Ordered rims and tires and service was great! Gave a review of salesperson as great Promised delivery by Nov 9th and then said they would Ship by Nov13! Tried to cancel as I was leaving Nov 9th but they said I could not cancel! Don't buy from them!

I recently ordered a duraflex front grill for my genesis. Once received I took it out of the box, and it wasn't cut straight, had gashes taken out of it, as well as places where it looked to have patched. I contacted CarID, and was supposed to receive a refund. After 48 hours I reached out to them again asking about the refund, when I received the response I was floored. They told me they spoke with the manufacture and the grill isn't defective, and that it needed to be professionally installed. What the heck? I took it by our local shop and was told that clearly the item is defective, and that it they sand down the places that are damaged, it would no longer fit.

Bought new headlight assemblies from Carid. Passenger side assembly somehow leaked water into lens area. Called customer service. Told to send pictures of the moisture. I complied. Went on vacation and cheeped email asking for more information. I complied. Was then told to remove headlight assembly and send to Canid. They told me that if they approved the warranty return they would send me a new assembly within 10 days. I told them I needed the car and the it is not legal to drive a vehicle in California with a missing headlight. Their response was they were following their policy. They also said they would send a new assembly if I gave them my credit card and authorization to charge me for the new assembly if their supplier did not agree the headlight was full of moisture.

I told them that I would go and buy a new assembly from a reputable local company.
Carid is not a reputable company. Never buy from them!

If there was an option for no stars thats how I would rate this joke of a company... I placed and order and it was for a built to order part. I was quoted two to three weeks on the part. I said ok no problem. One month goes by, I check to see whats going on with my order, it had gotten delayed another week. ( no biggie) Another week and a half goes by still no update on shipping i check with crapid again delayed another two weeks... SO now im two months in to waiting for my parts the finnaly arrive may first but the boxes have been beat up pretty bad and the driver requested i check the items. After an inspection of the items that I paid over $800 for i had to refuse the shipment because they were damaged. I have now been in the process of fighting with them to get a replacement item made and shipped. Since my enitial purchase it has been over 3months. Customer service seems to be out sourced... STAY CLEAR FRIENDS

I bought Dorman 609-000 transmission control module for 07 GMC Acadia from CarID, which turned to be defective, while spent extra $100 for programming it, they won't replace the bad module, instead they refunded me full price including core deposit, but the core I shipped them awhile ago, won't return since "it has been returned to manufacturer and can't be returned to me". So now when I go to other seller, it gonna cost me extra core deposit, which is $300, added to my module total price, even if I buy it from CarID again. Stole my core pretty much. Now I have Acadia sitting in my driveway with no module at all.

I ordered a slideout awning cover and thought everything was good. I received a notice that the product was delivered. When I checked UPS tracking it showed it left Spokane WA and was delivered to Spokane WA where it was refused. I live 5 1/2 hours from Spokane and did not refuse the delivery. After many emails and calls I cancelled the entire order. Half the calls were good telling me they would reship the product and then I would get an email saying that I need to pay shipping again! When I received an email saying they would finally cancel and refund, they refunded the charge but I still had to pay for the original shipping. It was like this is a shell game to get money for shipping that they never intended to get to me.

Ordered an emblem and so far they've promised me 3 different dates for delivery and a month later I STILL haven't received it.! They won't let me speak with the supervisor or anything. Bad people, don't buy ANYTHING from them, go elsewhere.

I purchased a complete set of wheels, tires, TPMS, locks for my 2014 Nissan Frontier. They answered all my questions and gave me assurance of fitment which was the most important to me. After some research their price was the best, I will go to Car ID for all my future needs.

Purchased - V-Tech Black Window Louver Cover for my mustang on 1/1/2015 estimated ship date was 1/5/15. I still have yet to recive it. So I called on 1/12/15 yo figure out what was going on and I was happy when get said it will be shipped that day. Was waiting for the email with the tracking number and I never revived one! So I called today 1/13/15 and what do you know! They claim the manufactures have not sent it out yet and the estimated shipping date was changed "again" and they will be shipped out on 1/13/15! This sucks I will never again order from carID again! Poor coustomer service! Poor communication! I want my money back so bad but looking at these other reviews it looks like I should ride it out! But never again will I buy from here! Save your money and pay the exstra money and go to a legitemate online car store because this is a joke!

They were very interactive with me, they emailed me to let me know that the wheels i first picked would be a additional 4 weeks. That was a bummer but they gave me diffrent options to pick from so i could recieve my wheels sooner the. That i thought

Worst online purchase experience. I ordered front and back rotors with brake pads for my hyundai sonata. The front rotor was bigger than the one that fits and also the brake pads were also different than mentioned on the cover. I talked to the customer service. They asked me photos. I did send some but they were not satisfied. I send a video explaining what problem was. I wasted my time jacking up my car and removing tire twice. I was issued a refund after video explaining but then i get a message that i have to field destroy it and send them the damage parts photo. They say this as if i was my mistake "Submit a picture(s) back to us of the destroyed product
Once these photos are received your return or exchange will be processed and a confirmation will be sent via e-mail." feels like they threaten you that they wont give money back if i don't destroy it.
All the work was done by me and what the CarId did was send me wrong dimension rotor, threaten me to destroy it for return, even though i confirmed it before ordering. I ordered online because i don't have to do all this things myself. Worst experience so far. Wont recommend
