“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I purchased a 2018 Accord sport hood panel that was damaged and didnt even line up when I installed it and they said they couldnt help me. DIDNT EVEN LINE UP CORRECTLY and damaged in 3 different spots. I was told by customer service they would give me a 15.00 coupon and a 25.00 refund. During these times of covid and not working on a regular basis I had to save 228.00 for a piece of scrap metal that they wouldnt even stand by. I even told them I would pay for shipping to return it if they sent me a non damaged hood that lined up properly. They just told me they were sorry and they couldnt help me. Once installed its yours. You dont know it doesnt fit like its supposed to until its installed and then notice damage and small dents in it. UGHHH. I was disheartened because I was so excited to get it. What a let down.

I purchased a set of taillights for my wife for Christmas in November. I tried to install them and realized they were the wrong ones. I tried to exchange them and the rep that I delt with said that the ones I needed was $13 more and they was going to send out a return label to return the others. I give her my card number to pay the difference and as soon as the transaction was complete she hung up. I called right back and the person I talked to explained that it was over the 30 days and they could not return them. So I then asked the question about the second pair and then I found out they charged the full price. I tried to cancel the order and they said they couldn't it was already processed I would have to wait till I received them and return them. I understand the 30 day policy however during the holidays they should have something set in place for this reason. I will never do business with this crooked company again.

I ordered rims and tires February 10 and then got an email the same time they should have been delivered that they would be delayed. I tried to cancel and couldn't because they were already shipped by the manufacturer. Now they want to give me a $75 credit back on card and a $25 gift card, REALLY, for the delay. There is no way I am ordering from these people again. There is still no guarantee I will have them on time so now I am stuck with the order. Second time I order and second time delayed. STAY FAR FAR AWAY.

Order for my 2010 Ford connect bumper cover telling the sells person Maria vin number ask 5 times if et will not fit is there are problem to send et back? Now bumper cover is not the right one will not fit need are slightly Curve one. Now I get the runaround und Maria is are liar the company will not give me my money back say I have order the wrong part how can I order the wrong part Maria ask for the Vin number. If you like junk for your good Money order from Carid auto parts>company don't give me the address where I can send beck the cheap Parts. I will file are report with the BBB

I've been waiting almost a month for an order I placed. It's been cancelled once by them and reorderd by me. It's shown shipped for over a week now but UPS still hasn't picked it up. Do not buy from this company! Literally the worst service ever. When I call and complain they offer me a $25 gift certificate with THEM! LIKE I EVER WANT TO GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I wanted to order a dash mat for my Jeep and I was so confused on which one to order I have a 2012 Jeep grand Cherokee Overland. When I looked at pictures on websites they did not look like they would fit my jeep. I called several dash mat Dealers and not one would really help me they said well it should fit if not send it back. I thought that is not really fair to go to the trouble of sending it back since they really did not want to help me. I found Chris and he was so sweet and helpful and helping me pick out the right color and made sure it would fit my jeep. He is a great asset to your company GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! He even gave me his email if something is wrong he will fix it. I wanted to say Thank you Chris your Awesome and I really hope they recognize you for your great Customer Service. Wendy

He sent me broken parts very unhappy I got a cargo basket and there's a top plate that has the rhino wrapped logo the plate was broken cracked I called him about it and they told me I need pictures of a box by the hat picture of the box so they don't wanna do nothing about it very bad service I don't recommend this to anybody I spent almost $500 and receive broken parts and this is my first time ordering from them

So I ordered k&n intakes and the intakes they sent me did not work on my car and I'm positive they were the right ones for my car. Only answer is they were broken in some way when car id send them out. I requested a refund plenty of times and they always gave me the same answers "We will email you within 3-5 business days about your order" "You should receive an email within 5-10 business days about your order" "you will receive an email within 24-72 hours about your refund request" they kept on telling me they had contacted the manufacturer and they haven't received an email back from them yet. I asked them for the manufacturers information like an email or phone number I can contact and the lady from carid customer service responded with "I'm sorry, I cannot give the manufacturers information out" and absolutely refused to help me. 5 business days later since she told me she can't give me there information, I call again and they tell me I would have to contact the manufacture and they offer me there manufactures email and phone number. Customer service speaks out of there $#*! and refuse to help me.It has been a month and I still have my order that they gave me and whenever I asked to contact a supervisor they absolutely refuse! They always tell me "the supervisors and very busy right now" and while I wait on phone calls for over 30 min they hang up on my face.

Recently ordered a Better Built Truck tool box from CARid.
I spoke to a rep prior to the order to ensure that if I needed to return it there would be no problems, My experience has been the large items are easily damage.
The box arrived via UPS. The outer card board packaging was basically disintegrating around the aluminum box. OK don't know what shape it was in before it left CARid so it could have been bad handling from UPS.
One bottom corner was pushed in a bit. I would have sent it back due to this but it was on the side that fits against the cab so it is not visible to a casual observer.
Also the box was slightly out of square (or the bed on my 2015 tundra is not square you can decide). This of course is the fault of Better Built (I have had some experience with aluminum welding and it is very difficult keep aluminum square during welding)
Also the locking mechanism on the passenger side needs some adjustment. The one on the drivers side works just fine. I wonder if CARid is selling better built rejects? I installed it on my truck and it looks great. You have to look very closely to see the problems. If possible I suggest that you buy your truck tool box from a local source so you can inspect it prior to purchase (I would have done that but my truck required a odd sized box)

In my business I encounter numerous individuals of questionable competency levels on a daily basis. However, CARiD has managed to reach new heights of incompetence, far surpassing anyone I have previously had the displeasure of dealing with. After a month of battling to get my item shipped to me - involving daily phone calls to ignorant customer service representatives - I had to cancel my order and demand a full refund when I was told that shipping had again been cancelled for unknown reasons. A week prior a customer service representative said I needed to pay additional shipping fees of almost $200, which I paid, to finally ensure that my item would ship. Of course, that did not happen. This is without a doubt the worst customer service that I have ever encountered. Even if I ended up receiving my item I would feel this way. It baffles me that this company manages to survive after what I went through, as there is no way in hell I am the only customer who has encountered this extreme level of disorganization and mismanagement. Do NOT waste your money by attempting to do business with this company. I promise that trying to complete a transaction with CARiD will feel like an elaborate scam to cheat you, as it will astound you that so many individuals are genuinely unqualified to do their jobs.

I found out from the UPS driver that CarID was making a claim that the items had been damaged in shipping. I made sure UPS knew that did not appear to be the case. The shipping box and packaging were all perfect, the bulb has clearly been burned out at some point and repackaged for sale as new. I did eventually get my refund, but I'm not sure who ended up paying for it, CarID or UPS.
Oh, and I did get follow up from them "Dear Christine, This message is in regards to the negative feedback you have left for our store. Please accept our sincere apology for the unpleasant experience you had with us. I wish we could have a chance to change your opinion about our store and keep you like our happy and returning customer. In the last message I sent to you, I offered you $25.00 gift card as an apology for the inconveniences you have encountered with. Please reply to this message if my offer sounds interesting to you or just let me know if you do not want to get any further emails from me."

This was in response to my posting my review here. I am pretty sure they wanted to bribe me to change my review.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother. They appear to be drop-shippers and don't stand behind their products at all. Find what you're looking for elsewhere, either direct from a manufacturer or at least from a retailer with good business practices.

Defective product, misrepresented just to make the sale, terrible customer service and communication

I received defective product that had obviously been returned to them at some point (LED headlight bulbs with brown splotches all over the emitters). I took a photo of it as soon as I opened the box, realizing something was wrong with the bulb. Sure enough, the affected bulb did not light up. I called them right away and was assured a replacement would arrive in 3-5 days, but the email confirmation after the phone call said that I would receive an "answer" to my "defective product request" in 1-2 days. I never heard anything except UPS showed up today apparently looking to pick up the defective product (I was never notified of this). So, I contacted CarID via Chat and basically the agent hung up on me! See the transcript below.

BTW, the product itself was completely misrepresented as "plug and play" for my year and model, and I verified that with their customer service before purchasing (it's not---you need to buy a separate adapter) and also it was supposed to have "no ballast" (but there is a ballast/transformer box and you have to figure out how to make room for it somewhere). Total BS. This appears just to be a drop-shipper misrepresenting products to unsuspecting customers and they'll say anything to make the sale. Avoid them! Here's hoping that I'm able to get a refund; seeing all the bad reviews and horror stories makes me wonder what will be next. Clearly, positive reviews about this company are highly suspect and probably a product of review inflation made during the downtime of their so-called "customer service" agents. Learn from those of us who are taking the time to tell what happened in REAL stories from REAL customers and avoid this place!

Tip for consumers:
All positive reviews of this place appear to be false. Listen to the real stories from real people trying to buy things in good faith and STAY AWAY from CarID and TruckID and MotorcycleID and IDTools and all the other fake storefronts for this apparent drop-shipping e-commerce clearinghouse.

None. Defective headlights were sent and I'm having trouble returning them. I must be able to see to drive, so I went to an auto parts store to buy headlight bulbs.

I bought a pair of step bar for my truck, nice looking, fast delivery, but i broke one side in the ditch, call them to have only one side of the same step bar new, that was a kuick answer, by another pair, we do not sale separated, for shure we have a 1000$ to waste, here they take one in a boxe and they will sale the other one anyway to other, and they can just ask the manufacturer to do it by unit,

I purchased rims and tires from Carid.com when i received them they were damaged i call that same day no answer i finally emailed them after a week of back and forth i receive a email stating that they would refund me a b. S amount of money or if i wanted to file a claim blaming the shipping company which i refuse to do because the damage was clearly caused by them mounting the wheels to the tires, i called customer service they they refused to let me return them or exchange them basically told me I'm stuck with them, i did not pay for used or damaged parts I'm extremely upset i had to go get a quote on repairing a new item this is ridiculous. STAY AWAY BUY ELSE WHERE

Run don't walk away from this site. Ordered over the phone, so I could receive a military discount, a CAMCO Power Grip Surge/Voltage Protector from the RV/Camper portion of their site the last week of August 2020 and it said in stock and would ship within 24 hours. After having to call back to get my email straightened out it said it wouldn't be shipped until September 30th. Over the past few weeks I called twice to inquire because I saw on their site they had anywhere between 8 and 20 and it would ship in 24 hours. Finally frustrated I called and requested a manager who called a day later and gave the same lame excuses and after requesting a corporate number was told their wasn't one available. Finally requested a refund and was told 3-5 business days and we will see how that goes.

Biggest mistake ordering from them!

Ordered items on July 5th, 2011, large order, i have received only 2 items out of 6, I payed 300$ for shipping on 947$ order, and now the third item came even with COD and tax, item value is 79.95$, shipping 18$ and COD +tax 22$, so its together now 119.95$, i asked them if they have done international shipping if the item price for me goes up by 50%! I ordered HID kits too, which they were saying they will ship very fast, its 2 weeks now and they still are not even shipped out... Bug deflector they didnt have in stock so they said aprox estimated shipping date is August 5th. Im gone call tomorrow to the bank and will try to get part of my money, because this is not even funny! I left msg that i want to talk with manager, do you think somebody called me, of course not! This place is just $#*!hole, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I bought rims and both rims they've bent within hours after driving on normal conditions. TSW rims at 1400 a set. Junk. Carid won't return my emails or give me any options to replace or return.

Odered corner lights for my 1994 pickup according to their description on their website of the year and model they fit. Got the lights and they were the wrong ones. Even the box they were contained in were labeled for different years and models. Had to send pictures of my orginals and the label on the box to get a return label for a refund. 24-48 hours before a return shipping label would be sent out. 72 hours later no return shipping label. Called CARID, they said they had not gotten a return label from the manufactor. WHAT! This was CARIDs fault. Why do I have to wait for the manufactor. Customer service is over seas. Do not talk good english. Stay away from this company!

I purchased a set of SAA Polished Pillar Post for my 2017 RAM 3500 and was astounded by the quality of the product. The beveled edges really sets this product off from the rest of the crowd. Very easy to install and it looks like it came from the RAM factory! Contacted CARiD about another one of their products and received very prompt and knowledgeable service!

Found the same product online the day after I placed my order with CARiD, called to get their price match, they refused saying when they looked at the link I sent them, the competing online vendor, Amazon, showed zero stock. I was told this while I was on looking at the Amazon link I sent them showing qty 2 in stock. Because CARiD refused to honor their own written price price match policy, I returned my CARiD order. I was still charged shipping both ways even though the return was because of their failure to honor their own price match policy. I will never use this company again..
