“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

Order tail lights. Received broken, box was damaged. Asked for return authorization, never received, shipped damaged part back at own expense, promised a refund through PayPal in 24 hours if I cancelled my PayPal complaint... did so, and nothing happened. They are tricksters... they knew that one could not reopen a PayPal complaint after being closed. PayPal should know better by now, that not all businesses are reputable and should allow complaint to be reopened. Never, never deal with CarID. You'll be sorry.

Ordered silver rims with tires, they sent light grey. First call they said look at them in sunlight and send pictures, which I did. Next call they said they couldn't do anything since I didn't order the silver trim for the wheel, which is ridiculous since the grey would still show, but said they needed 6 days review the recording of my order. Also, the balancing weights were all over the box. Ordered "55 RALLY silver wheels." Ordered silver, expected silver for my pearl white/silver trim 1974 Ford Ranger antique pickup truck. Grey is useless. I see in reviews that Car ID has more unhappy than happy customers. They have a great website and it says they paint "in house" but I should have read the reviews first.

Ordered 3 different items! One did not fit they admitted guilt returned money because website listed it was for my car. Hood didn't fit it was too small and off center like what the hell kind of company makes stuff like this? After numerous pics and arguing destroyed the hood refunded cost of hood (not the shipping). Ohhh the bumper still a nightmare I have taken so many pics and proved to them it will NOT fit. Their solution is to take the crash bar off yes the thing that would keep me safe in a crash I mean in a sports car that goes fast I would say it's a little important... oh and to top it off my insurance said that if I do get Into a crash without it they will not cover anything! So looks like about 600 dollars wasted thank you carid for just taking my money because this bumper will be turned into an expensive shelf in the garage..

Every time I have ordered from CARiD I have been pleased, this order shipped out within hours of placement! I will have the parts in less than 4 days start to door. Some big chain in-store orders are not that quick... very pleased.

Thanks to CARiD for reaching out. I'm still dissatisfied that it took a crazy amount of emails and phone calls to resolve a minor shipping error, but I'm glad they were willing to work things out in the end. I would pretty much recommend ordering things if you don't need them immediately, and be prepared to wait.

I'm not sure what kind of circus they're running up in the logistics department, but based on all of the reviews I read & my personal experience it's a real mess. I ordered a complete set of 4 wheels through their Ebay marketplace. I cancelled once I read the reviews about the site, but they went ahead and shipped them anyways... after confirming my cancellation. The communicative delay was the first red flag I experienced.

Upon delivery, only one wheel was delivered. Turns out the original shipment was only 30lbs, so there was no way the other three got lost in the post. Thankfully, CARiD admitted it was a shipping error on their behalf, and promised to get the three replacement wheels shipped out shortly. And so began a frustrating series of 24-48 business hour delay updates, claiming that the wheel manufacturer was not responsive to their requests. Given the current circumstances regarding wheel availability, I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, but I went ahead and contacted the manufacturer directly (very easy, quick process) to confirm whether there were any wheels available to ship. Lo and behold, there's available wheels (4 to be exact) ready to ship at multiple warehouses, including the one my original shipment was sent out from. It feels like CARiD is trying to drag out the replacement process as long as possible to distance themselves from the situation.

I don't know how you could manage to only send one wheel in a set of four, but it would've been acceptable if the customer service wasn't so damn slow. I ordered wheels so I could upsize from my current low-tread setup, and I've had to limit my driving while I wait for the rest of the wheels.

I sincerely would recommend that people avoid purchasing from CARiD. Go directly through the manufacturer or another marketplace if possible. The singular wheel I received is nice, but the hassle to get the rest is HORRIBLE.

Order elsewhere.

Horrible company. Messed up my whole order. The items i shipped back one returned damaged. Expect me to be liable. Make a ups claim. So unhappy with this company. Why would i damage the item and then return it? Makes no sense. Also, in the first place they sent me the wrong item.

1/2 of my order showed up, the other, more expensive part, did not. Customer support said "we show it shipped", shipper said "we never got the package". I had to get my CC company to just cancel the payment. If your order arrives, no worries. If there is any issue at all, good luck, this company sucks. Use anyone else

After multiple calls and emails, I was finally about to send the wheels back to CARiD, in which they have accepted the return and refunded me. Once my complaint was posted here, they assigned a customer service rep to my issue and he emailed me every couple of days to verify the process was moving along. Its really too bad the wheels did not work out as they have some really nice stuff to choose from.
I appreciate the extra assistance and wish Good luck to any other buyers that might see this review.

Tip for consumers:
Carefully select your purchase, and CALL them - even if all indications state they will fit. Make sure they note your account that you called for fitment confirmation. It will help you later if there is any issues.

Do NOT by wheels here **won't accept returns**

After spending a whole month looking for wheels, I ordered from CARiD. The order process was easy, shipping was great. But they don't fit. The wheel will only slide on the hub about 1/4 inch. I called - they asked for pictures, I sent pictures. I called back, they want more pictures... I said NO, I am not taking the wheels off the car again to take another pic. They want to argue stating the wheels FIT.
According to the CARiD website:
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange on products in new/unused condition within 30 days of delivery.
So, regardless of fit, I am not satisfied with my purchase and I should be able to return them. But all they want to do is argue and put you on hold. Three calls, two emails and 2+ hours total on the phone so far - now sending a RMA pre-authorization, then I have to wait another 4-5 days for the actual return labels.

Plus I have to pay shipping (who knows how much that is? Original receipt does not say) and a restock fee... STAY AWAY

I have been iffy about using CarID at first but I told myself I got nothing to lose to check it out, finally checked it out and fell in love with the products they sell on the page! Basically everything you could want or need for your car! I am now a fan!

I Ordered Crossed drilled rotors for my Benz and they sent me standard ones and in two weeks my car is back to grinding and loud noises again they have the nerve to say they will refund me $10 difference? Why dont u just send correct product first! Never do business with them!

My order was placed two weeks ago today and every time I call I sit on hold until he phone just gets disconnected. I've been going through this since I made the order. This is just why I usually shop locally, I'll never order from them again I should've knew something was up by how they kept sending me emails about what's in my cart even though my order was already placed... what a joke

I ordered genuine leather seat cover for over a 1000 dollars. I didn't realized until too late that they were flimsy vinyl. Carid offered me a 30 refund for their false advertising. A very bad business with poor customer service.

Ordered parts 8 weeks ago just to find out it never existed. Paid for part, core and shipping to canada. Received partial refund less exchange loss

Worse Company Ever! I make a shelf purchase and they immediately charge me for the order and provided an estimated ship date of 72 hrs later; after waiting a week I contacted them via chat (don't do it, they are vague) and then by phone where they tell me they need 72 hrs to get a status. I wait for the update (3 more days) and now they tell me the shipping price has gone up 800%

After 30 plus years dealing with car restorations and repair I have ordered hundreds of car parts on line and mail order. I have had some disappointments, but most were able to be resolved. I ordered a bumper cover for a Mercedes from CARid. They outsourced the order to another company. After I received it, my installer said that the it was the wrong part, and could not be made to fit. After a dozen emails to CARid, and talking to five different "customer service" reps, all I am getting is the runaround. They originally promised me a full refund for the item plus refunding the shipping charges. None of that is happening. Neither CARid nor their supplier will take responsibility for their faulty merchandise.
Deal with CARid at your own risk.

My order was originally placed in November of 2020, 8-months later I have yet to receive two of my products. I have been hung up on by their customer account specialist, they are rude, and they do not care about their customers. I own 2 businesses personally, and would never allow my staffers to treat customers as these people do. They don't update you when order status changes, and I highly recommend shopping elsewhere for your car needs. I will never utilize this company again.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't. They overcharge, and they don't keep their promises. Bad business model.

Products used:
Parts for a 1990 Honda, floor mats were ordered, no status updates ever, no email status updates even when requested, and rude staffers on the phone.

I ordered a lead hammer from this outfit. Pretty straightforward transaction; plain as could be. They promised to notify me when shipped. Nine days later and not a word about it, I e-mailed. NOT TO WORRY; notice of shipping coming right away! Nine more days of waiting and I called them. NOT TO WORRY; we'll call you in three days. Nothing. It's now been three weeks since I ordered. I submitted the order number they sent me to their automated system. Their reply - "Order does not exist." I wasted 3 weeks on this outfit; don't you waste one minute on them. "Stephen" will just tell you he'll take care of it. He won't.

Well they were the cheapest for a 5th wheel by pull rite. It said on the we'd site ships within 24 to 48 hours it's been 11 days and I still do not have tracking. On top of that they told me I had to pay another $257.20. Said their Web site had the wrong price. If it's wrong in a store u pay what the price tag says. So they extorted me for more $ and still no tracking. Only thing they do fast is take your! $!. Listen to what every 1 else says. If I get the wrong item after all this I'm going to go postal on them!

CARID and Keystone sent me a bent hood and would not let us return. They said "Once you sign the shipping paper your out of luck. The packaging was perfect we could not see any damage caused by shipping. It was shipped with the bend in it. No help from customer service. Don't believe the 5 star reviews they are from their employees.

Tip for consumers:
I sent Carid my order # and info and they did not answer me. Just FAKE RESPONSE from them to make you think they are working on my problem...don't believe it.

I purchased a spoiler from them. Started off well but when it arrived parts were missing.
It took 30 days to get the parts. They don't return phone calls. The customer service department says they will respond in 24 hours but they don't. It cant take 24 hours to fix a problem. NASA can go to the moon in 8 hours and 35 minutes. Delivery of my new Car was held up at the dealership for 29 days waiting for the parts. Company does not understand customer service, They are always politically correct with their responses but you still don't get service or your parts.
Think twice if you need parts for a service vehicle from this company; you could make it to the moon and back 85 times before they can supply a template and 4 bolts in 30 days

I purchased a retractable sunshade for my windshield, when I got it it was not the size I wanted. So I requested a return as of today that I'm writing its been 10 days and they haven't responded to my return request yet. I have called their customer service number 4 times every time I call they say I will receive the return shipping labels by end of the day but so far I haven't received it. Will never buy from them again and do not recommend it to anyone. Always go to trusted sites. This is gonna be my first and last purchase from this website.

I purchased a wood grain kit for my car from Carid and was totally impressed with the quality. Also, the instruction sheet for the installation was very easy to follow. I've had so many positive opinions on the appearance of my cars interior. Everyone says the same thing. It's beautiful, It looks like it came from the factory that way. I know if or when I need future parts for my car, I will surely choose Carid again.
