“Trailer mirrors”

The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.

Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!

I ordered a front and back bumper from carid(not cheap!) I got them a week later! Awesome right? Well they sent me 2 left brackets for the front bumper. So I call and let them know I need a right one. That was over a month ago! I'm pissed at this point. I literally call & email them everyday and for over a MONTH they say yes it will be shipped in 24-48 business hours. 36 days later and I'm still driving without a front bumper(which is illegal), got a fix it ticket... my old one I scrapped so I can't even put it back on. Never EVER buying anything from this place again. Neither should you!

Using their simple system I filled out all the correct information for my car. After waiting for my parts, receiving the parts and then finding time to do the install they turned out to be 2 1/2 inches short. Now I have $51 worth of useless parts because I went over their 30 day limit. This is not how you run an online business.

The lights were lost or stolen from my delivery. I called right away and within ten minutes they told me the manufacturer would be sending out the missing parts the next day! I was so relieved to have the problem taken care of. I consistently use this site to buy items.

CARID sent me caliper covers that my mechanic says don't come close to fitting my car. CARID expects me to have my mechanic take the wheels back off and download them photos, before they will even consider a refund. Asked for a supervisor and gave up after 30 minutes on hold. Don't waste your time or money. $179 in my case.

I have been pricing shock assemblies for my Subaru Outback for awhile, found these on CarID for the lowest price when searching so I got all four. They arrived pretty quickly and the site is simple to use. One of my favorite parts was acceptance of my paypal credit account as I feel safer using this when shopping online. Would def recommend the site.

We were traveling to the US and ordered car mats for our new car, and wanted them sent to our hotel, but were concerned that they would not arrive in the brief window we would be there. Serge V confirmed the delivery date for me, explained the differences between a few products, and even called me right back when our call got dropped. I have experienced really bad service from other sites, but this experience was great. I would definitely buy from them again.

I ordered wheels based on their verification and confirmation by sales person that the wheels are guaranteed fit. However, when the wheels were installed the breaks were jammed due to incorrect off set. CARID refused to take them back even though it was their mistake. Beware of purchasing from this company.

Ordered wheels. Delivery date was off by 2 weeks. Wheels arrived damaged and 2 were impossible to balance. CARID blamed manufacturer. Manufacturer wanted me to send back at my expense. Last but not least, unable to leave a review on CARID website. I do NOT recommend purchasing from this drop-ship vendor.

Do not buy from these people. Their exchange policy and refund are scam. Once you buy something, they will do everything to prevent you from getting your money back. A V O I D!

I've made several purchases from them including two sets of rims and at least one spare. They're are completely legit, honest and transparent. My first order, the rims were not in stock and they weren't sure when they would get them. Nate reached out and gave me many different options and I settled on a set that my kid liked. They were here within days. Second set, they were waiting on the manufacturer for one rim... promised it would be shipped in a few days. And it was shipped on the day they had promised... not only that... the shipment literally arrived the next day. I can't tell you how happy I am with CARiD... they haven't let me down one bit! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Thanks guys!

Visited their site to buy some wheels/tires.

After creating an account the shipping costs changed from free shipping to $170. Many other sites with better prices offer free shipping.

When I opened up live chat to ask about this and registering for military discount, I was told to call them to speak with a customer rep.
What's the point of live chat?

Also, it appears they edit their site for only show positive reviews/feedback. After visiting this site and seeing the warning about how this company offers discounts in exchange for good reviews, I am glad I told them to pack sand.

The shipping cost varies on the destination, that is the reason it does not pop up until the shipping address is specified. We had to pay more charge which is normal however their instructions included them sending packing slip package and an email to get ups label. We got nothing and after spending a couple of hours on the phone with the wholesaler who sent the item and carid customer service we realize they have no idea what their website says. We were told it could be 3 to six days to get an email for a shipping label. Nobody got time for that.

Twice I've ordered parts at CarID.com... and both times they were 'out' when the site showed 10 of one and 1 of the other. Customer service was very good... refund on parts were issued quickly... but cost me 1046. 00 in rental car fees due to part being 'out' even after salesman 'inspected part' to insure it was the correct model.

Check this out world! I don't know where you shop for your car accessories but if it is not carid, then it's the wrong place. Frank and the rest of the carid staff has once again, provided me with a service that is second to none. Love this place. Carid lifer!

Called *******274, ext 81 yesterday mid-afternoon to order a power steering pump for my 2006 VW Beetle (TDI), spoke with Raquel.

It's now 2:30 (next day), and I've already begun installation. Even counting the cost of plastic tubing to flush the power steering system (great warranty, if you do the full installation right!), getting the right power steering pump was faster than ordering through the best local auto parts store, and, even counting core charge and shipping, was almost 35% less expensive - comparing the same part number from the same manufacturer!

YES, I will be checking CARiD's Web store before buying any parts locally, and will strongly recommend to my do-it-yourself friends that they do the same.

Thanks, Raquel (sales rep) for making this a painless purchase. I'm thinking about sending flowers, but I'm not sure my wife would understand. My heartfelt appreciation may have to be enough...

I want to start by say I havent actually received the product, so Im just reviewing their over the phone service.

I started by talking to someone I forget the name of sadly. He was great, even offered to call the supplier and get back with me when they opened. Then I sorted it out, called back, got Oscar, who did a great job getting my order set and on the way.

"I ordered a set of wheels and tires from carid.com. They look great only a couple weeks to receive them. I am completely unhappy with the lug nuts I received, they are just a steel (not chrome) lug nut that should be under a hub cap not a custom chrome wheel for everyone to see. I called carid and talked to 2 different tire and wheels reps and they both said that's what you get, and the picture you see of the lugs nuts are for illustration only. I spent almost 2 grand there and for a $35 set lugs they will never get myself, friends and families business. I have to go out a buy my own set of chrome lug nuts. Beware"

They will give you a runaround for weeks when you contact them for an exchange or refund. Was asked to submit pictures which I did and was never contacted back. Called them on the phone multiple times only to be blown off saying they are working with the manufacturer. This company is a 3rd party only and doesn't keep anything in stock, everything is shipped from the items manufacturer not from CarID.

Tip for consumers:
Shipping rates are extremely high and they don't combine shipping when ordering multiple items.

I bought a set of wheels for $2500 they told me they had complete, 3 weeks later every time I call, they tell me something different, each one telling a lie, 3 weeks passed and they told me that they can not give me back my money and neither Send them all because it is missing pieces. Liars, bad workers, company with no concept in my opinion. Never buy or even indicate.

They do not know how to enter part numbers in there computers. The will also lie to you. There is no need to write a five page letter. Just don't order from them. Anybody else, on line, will match or beat there prices.

I spoke Jarred when calling Bout wheels and tires for my car. He was extremely friendly and helpful, and even came off more of like a bro than just some random employee on the phone. So far I have been very satisfied with Carid's customer service, I have called 3 time for 3 separate things and each time was greeted with pleasant attitudes and helpful tips. I will most definitely be going there for anything I need.

I ordered a carbon fiber hood. That plus shipping $980 When I receive it it was damage. I tried to return it but the customer service people flat out refused! I'm out almost $1000 and a damaged hood sitting in my room. These people do not take care of there customers. There sure fast at taking your money but once they have that, your nothing to them. These people are a fraud! I'm telling everyone reading this review. Buyer beware! Worst company ever. Spend your money somewhere else. Worst customer service ever!

Carbon fiber hoods are usually delivered via Freight Delivery, and it is always recommended to inspect the product upon its delivery to locate any damage. In case the damage is located, the delivery bill has to be signed "damaged". We on our end will initiate the damage claim with the shipping carrier and process replacement or full amount of refund upon the completion of the claim.

In the even when the damage was not located upon delivery, but afterwards - it is recommended to report the damage to the shipping carrier by asking them to sign the delivered merchandise as "damaged" in their system. This will help us to initiate the damage claim with the shipping carrier on our end and process a replacement or full amount of refund upon completion of the claim.
