The mirrors did not stay on the self adhesive foot pads and after you get the mirror in the proper position you have to crank them down really tight and once you want to release the tension you end up using a large screw driver to pry them loose-don't know how long they will last under that condition-second time I have used them-quite pricy-I like them when in use.
Ordered part. Didn't fit. CARiD says it's correct, but it's not. Wanted to return for full refund but was told about restocking fee and shipping fee, basically only getting $10 back on a $60 part that clearly did not fit...never again!
This site CLAIMS that the LED light sets they sell for 200-300 a pair are made to fit each vehicle with NO modification or additional parts needed. I purchased a pair of
Lumen® H7XXHLC-G8. Upon arrival the parts DO NOT even come close to fitting the GL 450 socket which is when the nightmare began. After 6 emails, 2 calls and writing to customer service there are NO answers, NO assistance, NO one that has a clue about the lights or how they fit and to make matters worse they want to charge me to return the parts they FALSELY advertised on their site as fitting right into the same original socket. Lastly, when you call customer service the call is obviously routed outside the USA to someone who can not even locate a simple answer like "does the part number I have work for the car year/make/model". Instead they want me to send video and pictures of why they part does not work all the while threatening that there are fees if I return the parts. After 1 week of trying to work through the web of no answers I will return the parts and also notify every site I can about what a dishonest company this has been.

Ordered seat covers for my car. They were listed as vehicle specific, which is very important to me.
Box arrived severely damaged, and with one piece missing (Only one seat base was included, instead of two). It looked like someone had returned the box incomplete, and CarID had failed to inspect the package. The seat covers were also NOT vehicle specific, and to top it off, my particular model/make/year wasn't even listed as compatible.
Contacted CarID, they said they'd make it right, issue me a refund - ok, great. They asked for photos of the defect and said a courier would pick up the return "within the next 3 business days" - also fine. That never happened, the package has still never been picked up. I still have these incomplete, falsely advertised seat covers. Also, its a small miracle these haven't been stolen off my porch in the first place. Contacted CarID again, they said they would look into it and get back to me in 24-48 hours. That was 4 business days ago. I finally hear back today asking for when they want ME to pick up the item (? I'm trying to RETURN, but the email was in not-so-great english so maybe that wording was just a mistake?) and I make my intentions clear, again, and suggest a time.
You guessed it, "we will get back to you in 24-36 business regarding pickup schedule." Yes that's a quote, terrible grammar and all. Also, why ask me for my pickup time preferences if you have no intention of paying attention to them? I'm starting to feel like this return process is all a scam and they just want me to eventually give up so they make a quick buck.
I am so incredibly disappointed in this whole experience. I do not recommend purchasing from CarID, you may get a defective product, and if you do - good luck getting anywhere with a return.
On September 28 I ordered wheels and tire package deal. EST. Ship date was October 9 by October 17 still no tracking number. Called them... at first they told me they had everything and couldn't understand why they hadn't shipped. They processed to tell me that the tires were signed for but can't find them. Then the next day they emailed me and said the tires I ordered are no longer being made and they don't have them in stock. No one contacted about the tires. So I get a hold of one of the sales reps to order some different tires order the tires he says they have them in stock I told him I was supposed to go on a trip on the 26th he said he would rush them to me. So now it's the 22nd still have no tracking number so I called again then they tell me they're still waiting on the tires ( You know the ones they have in stock) So I want to cancel the order and they tell me they can't. Then she gets back on the line and says I have to pay a restocking fee on the Rams and the sensors so I called them back told them to just send me the The wheels and the sensors and refund me on the tires since I have not received them this place is a joke they're a bunch of liars and will never use them again! The customer service was a great deal of help the agent sent me a link so I could order when I was ready the floor mats were just as described my son will be pleased thanks CarID.
I've been back and forth via email for two weeks after receiving my floor mats that don't seem to fit quite right. CarID couldn't answer any questions for me about the fit and had to contact the manufacturer, come back and ask for my vin, make me wait another week after telling me I would have a response in 24-48 hours, etc.
Now, they are finally admitting that they have sent the incorrect mats but I am the one who has to take the punishment for their mistake because of some silly policy that only gives me two options to have the mats replaced with the correct ones: 1. I have to destroy the current mats by cutting them up and sending pictures and trust that they will actually get me replacements in a timely manner, or 2. I have to front the money for the replacements with a hold on my credit card and send them the evidence that the old ones have been destroyed after the new ones arrive to have the hold removed. I'm not trusting either of these options after everything I've read about the shady customer service here. I don't know what they think I could possibly do with these poorly fitting mats but I can't think of any possibility that justifies them treating me like this. They should just be jumping all over correcting their mistake, not making life more difficult for me. I own a Transportation company and my vehicle would get disgusting if I destroyed the mats and went without waiting for new ones to come and my small business can't wait for some credit card hold to go away with how slowly these guys operate. They suck for not working with me to make this right. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Other companies carry the same manufacturers products.

I ordered a set of rims & tires for my 2015 Chrysler 200, first thing that went wrong was they said 2 weeks, it took a month. 2nd thing the went wrong Chrysler 200 using a lug bolts, not lug nuts so they sent me the wrong ones, 3rd thing to go wrong was they sent me the wrong hub rings and after installing them on my Chrysler and having 2 of them break and almost had my rims fall off and had to get my car towed home. 4th things to go wrong 10 days after receiving my wheels and tires, I received another set of hub rings? Why? I call them they had no idea. After 9 calls to them they tell me the second set of hub rings are the right one and everything's okay now. NO EVERYTHING NOT OKAY. My rims are damaged now after installing the wrong hub rings, my hub are damaged now, the rims won't balance after spending $35 twice to try and they tell me to have another set sent to me, but caris isn't taking any of the blame, they say it's my fault for not waiting for the other hub rings "which I had no idea they were coming" and put them on but because I put the wrong hub rings on "the ones they sent me" I'm to blame. F*ck this place I spend $2000 on paper weights.

I placed an order for brakes on 5/18/19 (saturday). After the order was placed I received an email stating the item would not even be shipped until Monday morning, so I needed to cancel the order as I wouldn't receive the order in time. I then called back immediately (I have cell phone records that I can reproduce showing this), but their after hours line will not allow me to leave a message. I then logged into my order account and clicked "cancel my order", a message popped up stating that I would have to call for assistance (Sunday). I then called again and of course since it was after hours no one answers and no one would be avaliable until Monday at 8am. I then called Monday at 8: ooam and left a message stating to not ship my order and I left my name, order number and cell phone number. I called again at 8:10am and stated the same thing. I never received a call, so I went into my online order account again and went under technical support to state the above information and that is the only was I was able to get in touch with anyone at this company. Now they are trying to charge a restocking and shipping fees.
